We have a fantastic range of treatments and 5* rated dental team. Fantastic experience: Our every interaction with the Toothbeary team has been exceptional and I thoroughly recommend their services. Our initial introduction was due to my daughter requiring a procedure under conscious sedation. From the initial consultation through to the aftercare, the care & communication has been excellent. My daughter had such a positive experience that she is genuinely excited to visit the practice and is keen to tell people of her experience. It was particularly pleasing to observe all the staff speak to the children, rather than favouring the adult. The setting is styled to create a calming environment and it's evidently successful when I look at how comfortable my children and other attending patients are. Toothbeary is an enhanced experience of care and for this reason I have chosen to utilise their ongoing services for our children despite it being 90 minute journey from our home.
Fantastic experience: This place is wonderful. My 8 year old had a horrible experience at our own dentist and we found Toothbeary. My son needed a tooth removed and honestly the whole experience was so smooth : everyone was so lovely and helpful, and they are so good with kids. The anaesthetist was wonderful, helping to distract my son and even making him laugh right before the sedation. It was absolutely worth it for us....I dont think my son will go anywhere else now.
Fantastic experience: My seven year old said that she had a “great” time at the dentist - which given she had two fillings is quite something! A great environment for kids to get dental work, is fully set up for them to have a really enjoyable experience.

Fantastic experience: My son had absolutely the best experience at Toothbeary. All of the staff were so knowledgable and experienced at dealing with children with additional needs and the treatment was great. The IV sedation was the perfect solution for us and my son woke up like he had just had a nap. I know he would have no problem going back to Toothbeary in the future, and that’s a real success.

Fantastic experience: We visited recently with our little boy who is severely autistic, the staff from reception to the dentist was absolutely amazing with him, we had a consultation and treatment booked in all within two weeks. It’s a very homely welcoming setting with a toy room to keep your children busy and at ease. We had a lovely dentist who was so brilliant with our boy she really made a distressing time for us and him better, after speaking through all our options and what is best we decided we would put him to sleep so we could get our treatment done. The doctor and nurse who works alongside Toothbeary was amazing from start to finish, supporting us and our child. If you are thinking of going private for your children then this place is the one to go to, nothing was to much trouble from the second we walked through the door. We travelled up from Portsmouth and was so glad we did.. The appointments was all on time which is a big win for us too as our son doesn’t like hanging around for to long. They followed us up next day with a telephone appointment which was great to make sure we were all ok. We came away with emergency numbers if we needed them over night, it really is a 10/10 setting.. and we are so glad we went private.

Fantastic experience: My daughters -21 and 19 now at university have sadly had to leave the Toothbeary family to attend more local dentists. Both girls have been at Toothbeary for 18 years+ and have aways been looked after so well by everyone they have come across from the guys on reception, dental technicians and dentists for both check ups and for more complex procedures. With zero fillings between them and lovely straight white teeth their cleaning habits and care have been well formed, helped by Toothbeary from a young age. Fantastic experience: What an absolutely amazing dentist. The staff were so friendly and made my son feel very calm, relaxed and welcome. My son is on the spectrum and had a very negative experience with my original dentist. It left him scared of going to the dentist. Toothbeary could tell straight away that my son has a condition called Molar Incisor Hypomineralisation (MIH) or enamel hypoplasia, and due to not seeing a dentist in lockdown and being given 8 lots of anti-biotics for a persistent cough, and a milk bottle at night to help him sleep as he woke 6-8 times nightly, his teeth were very damaged. He had an IV sedation and they did 5 fillings, 2 crowns, 2 extractions and sealant on his adult teeth. My son was in no pain through the procedure and was fast asleep. He has not been in pain since and is now a very happy little boy. I cannot thank Toothbeary enough for finding out what was wrong with my son's teeth, and for their lovely staff and for making my son feel so comfortable. He is no longer scared of the dentist and said he had an amazing experience there. He is only 6 years old and handled this all like a real trooper thanks to the staff at Toothbeary!

Fantastic experience: Excellent practice. All the staff are extremely professional, friendly and patient. The place is lovely and inviting with a playroom to wait in and bright colours all round. Many little accommodations to make children more at ease (nice flavours, screen above treatment beds, fun bibs). Sedated extraction done professionally with minimal upset.

Fantastic experience: We recently took our 6-year-old daughter to Toothbeary for a tooth extraction, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Fantastic experience: Toothbeary gave us first class treatment for our son's tooth surgery. The sedation team was excellent to ensure the procedures were done almost pain free, including a well thought strategy to look for Wally on a book to distract my son.. Fantastic experience: My daughter underwent IV sedation yesterday. The whole process was so streamline. She’s extremely anxious and they put her mind at ease. She went off to sleep very quickly and when she woke was pain free. 1 day post treatment and she is pain free. The Sedation storybook was great. She even read it to a friend today! All the staff couldn’t have been kinder to myself, my daughter and her Grandad. I would absolutely recommend Toothbeary, especially if you have an anxious child. Fantastic experience: After being unable to get help locally, I found the details for Toothbeary. I am so very glad I did. Despite living many hours drive from them, we had no options and took the plunge. After so many calls and consultations were the answer was 'we cant help'. Toothbeary was the opposite. It was such a relief to find somewhere that would work with us to get what was needed done. After a long commute, we did the consultation and sedation same day. Each staff member we met was kind and so helpful. The situation was professionally handled. A child with crippling fear was happy on the day and in the environment. Everything was explained as we went, so both parent and child felt secure and in control. I would certainly recommend Toothbeary to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Above and beyond care for our 4 year old who needs lots of reassurance and support during his appointment. He was put under sedation which was so scary for us as parents but it was done so well it was far less traumatic than we had thought it would be. We’re so glad we found toothbeary to help our son with his teeth.

Fantastic experience: Our two year old daughter had two teeth that needed root canals and crowns fitted. Honestly, the service was wonderful. Our daughter didn't make things easy, she was very nervous and upset from the second we arrived but, as parents, we thought all the staff were incredible. The sedation was so quick and our daughter woke up absolutely fine and beaming away with the balloon and bouncy ball she was given as a parting gift. She is over the moon with her fixed tooth and shows everyone her "shiny teeth". We would recommend to anyone!

Fantastic experience: We attended tooth beary today with our 5year old daughter after she cracked her front tooth. She was in a lot of pain and unable to eat. The nhs emergency dentist did a patch job and put her on an 8week wait list. We knew she couldn’t wait that long and after calling tooth beary they fit her in the same day, in hope they would be able to do anything to just ease her discomfort. Upon arriving the place is totally kitted out for children, it has everything a child could wish for. The waiting room is a great play area, with toys, games and books and there is WiFi for olde children to connect phones and what not to. We were seen very quickly and there was no waiting around they accessed the problem and extracted the tooth straight away. The entire process was extremely professional and comforting and our daughter who is usually very anxious was totally at ease and comfortable. The dentists were amazing with her talking to her the entire time keeping her calm and making sure she wasn’t scared of a single thing. She loved that she chose her own flavour laughing gas and got to watch Bluey on the ceiling. From start to finish we have been nothing but overly satisfied, and our daughter is pain free and after 32hrs of not being able to eat has eaten loads of food and made up for it. She’s comfortable and out of pain while she excitedly awaits her first visit from the tooth fairy. Thankyou so so much tooth beary we will recommend you to everyone.

Fantastic experience: I can not express my satisfaction enough. After the NHS dentist told me there is no preventative work that could be carried out on my 20 months old teeth, and to wait until he gets an infection, then they would extract the teeth.. I was so relieved to find this specialist service that went above and beyond my expectations. My son’s 3 front teeth seemed to be deteriorating rapidly. However, after calling Toothberry and getting an assessment within a week, then to having the procedure a week after that, they are now unrecognisable. I was educated around diet and life style. They took the time to reassure and explain everything in great depth. Not to mention how absolutely wonderful they were with my son. He was sedated and had 3 caps, and came out of there smiling. He has been happy ever since. No pain, no complications, just a very happy boy and mummy!

Fantastic experience: Our 3 year old son was seen by the Toothbeary team following a recommendation by our local dentist that he might need two teeth extracted. He becomes very anxious at the dentist but I can honestly say that the experience at Toothbeary was first class. Initial consultation, Xrays, IV sedation for two extractions and recovery were all carried out with the child's peace of mind at the forefront & genuine care from all the team involved. I could not recommend them highly enough. I recommend reading the story/ book provided by Toothbeary with your child a few days before the procedure takes place.

Positive experience: Great experience at Toothbeary with my 11 year old anxious daughter. While her local dentist is also amazing, she needed dental extractions under IV sedation and with a long NHS waiting list we decided to go the private route so he referred us on - all the staff were wonderful and made it as easy as it could possibly be for her (and me!). She was really worried about having a cannula put in but Dr Will was so calm and quick with great distraction techniques (I still couldn't find Wally ). Once she was sedated, we were kept updated by the lovely nurse that she was doing fine and it was actually all done within about 15 minutes and we were on our way home about an hour later! Yes it is expensive, but you have to look at the amount of staff that are present, the medication etc and I'd rather pay for somewhere that has been accredited and in the safest hands should anything happen. I would recommend to others.

Fantastic experience: My daughter needed a tooth root extraction after a trauma to the tooth, and being 2 years old they advised she have a sedation. The service Toothbeary offered was absolutely brilliant. They are so child-friendly, she was never scared at any point. It was very quick, and she was in recovery in a lovely calm bedroom within minutes. She had no adverse side effects and was back to herself within an hour after the procedure. She even asked to go back and sleep in their lovely bed again the next day. She has zero fear of the dentist after this experience. I couldn’t recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! We were in a difficult situation where my 6 year old child had repeated tooth pain/infections and had visited 4 different dentists locally (both nhs and private) but my child was so scared he wouldn’t let them perform a filling, extract the tooth or even xray. We were told it was a 2yr wait for nhs general anaesthetic and told that 90% of the referrals get rejected anyway. On Monday with a child in pain and on his second round of antibiotics, we tried a private dentist who offers gas sedation but again my son wouldn’t let him remove the tooth (which now had an abscess) or use the gas. The dentist told us he didn’t think we would be successful doing iv sedation at tooth beary either as my son was so anxious and said all we can do is continue going on antibiotics (indefinitely?!) and show up at A&E. A very hopeless situation and stressful for all. I contacted Toothbeary on Monday and spoke to a really helpful receptionist who organised a phone consultation with the dentist for me that afternoon (we live 2hrs away). She was very helpful and we booked to get the tooth removed on Wednesday under iv sedation. When we arrived everyone was friendly and warm, my son loved the tv on the ceiling and the coin to get a toy. The dentist looked at his teeth and immediately said there was another filling needed on another tooth and a further tooth was cracked (none of the other 4 dentists had spotted this and the X-rays once sedated confirmed this). The iv sedation itself was quick and easy, my son was distracted with a book, didn’t even notice what was happening and there was no pain or anxiety. They sorted all his teeth and once the medication wore off he was happy and in no pain. I am so relieved and grateful for Toothbeary and genuinely don’t know what else we would have done if they didn’t exist. 10/10. My son is back at school the next day and is so happy that it no longer hurts to bite down. His review last night ‘Is this going to be my new dentist, this is the best dentist ever, 100%’. I will be contacting the previous dentist who said iv sedation wouldn’t be successful on my son to please recommend all anxious children to Toothbeary.

Fantastic experience: I only have fantastic things to say about Toothbeary. My 3 year old suffered trauma and our local dentist stated we had to have the tooth removed. We could wait a long time for NHS. I sat at home in a panic, worrying about the situation. I started to google and came across Toothbeary. Despite them being an hour and thirty minutes from us I booked an appointment for the next day. We were seen by Mimi and it was FANTASTIC. She confirmed that the extraction was the way forward. My little boy still speaks about her now. She explained the process, conducted X rays and then we booked in for his procedure date. Procedure day was scary. I cried more than my son. But I have no negative experiences neither does my little boy. Barry was UNREAL. Such a lovely man who reassured me massively but was also fantastic with my little one. Sedating him with Will and then afterwards. My little ones recovery was amazing, such a lovely place to be and he is now back to his normal self. Please do not ever doubt Toothbeary! I would never think twice again about attending their practice. IT WAS AMAZING. Worth every single penny. I have named Mimi, Barry and Sam (reception) specifically as they were all excellent, friendly, reassuring and brilliant with my little boy. But all of the staff were brilliant. Fantastic experience: Following an experience at a local dentist, and an unsuccessful visit at a sedation clinic for treatment that left my 6 year old son too scared to get into the dentist chair, I was so relived to find Toothbeary. The team at Toothbeary are just on another level. Their approach is kind, patient, re-assuring - and that was just for me as a parent desperately trying to find someone who would be able to help my son successfully. When it comes to working with children, they are faultless! They just understand how to re-assure, encourage, support and empower children to feel that their opinions and concerns matter, and more importantly, achieve successful dental treatment with them feeling happy about their experience and not at all scared. We had several appointments: an initial asessment, the treatment ( that was to be carried out under IV sedation ) and follow up . When you walk into the practice it is a lovely welcoming and friendly environment. The reception team are friendly, smiley , happy and the waiting room immediately helped to relax my son, as there were so many things to play with to take his mind of waiting to see the dentist. During the initial assessment, the dentist involved my son, chatting to him in a way that helped him feel incontrol about what was happening. By the end of the visit he had voluntarily got onto the chair, and when there was something he wasnt comfortable with the team found an alternative way that left him feeling he could trust them to look at his teeth ( and the abcess that had developed on his upper gum) and assess exactly what treatment he needed, and how best to achieve it. During the 2nd visit - we were there for treatment , which was to be completed under IV sedation (inhalation sedation had been unsuccessful at the practice we had visited prior to finding Toothbeary). Again the team were incedible, because they had explained everything in such a child friendly and factul way (combined with the book that re-inforced what would happen),. My son was as at ease as a 6 year old can be , at the idea of having a tooth out, but he was happy to be returning to Toothbeary because 'they are the nice dentists, that listened to me, and didn't hurt me'. The process of having the numbing gel on the back of his hands, waiting for it to take affect, and having the canula couldnt have gone more smoothly. He was relaxed, distracted and didn't even know when they put the canula into the back of his hand. For a child who 2 weeks before had been too scared to sit in a dentist chair, to be this relaxed ahead of having his tooth out was incredible and I honestly can not thank the team or praise them enough. As a parent you just want your children to be ok and at ease - the Toothbeary team helped this to be achieved. The team kept us updated at all times, and when our son was waiting to come round from the sedation we were advised what to expect and how best to help him with his recovery. The team could not have been kinder or more re-assuring. Everything about our experience with toothbeary, from the first enquiry phone call, through to assessment, treatment and follow up after care was above and beyond. I can not thank them enough for treating my son successfully, and helping to re-build his trust in dentists again - Outstanding team. I cannot reccomend Toothbeary highly enough. Fantastic experience: My daughter had enamel hypoplasia on her top teeth and they got to a point of needing removal. The NHS kept rejecting her referral to have sedation or general anaesthetic due to the waiting times being around 3 years. My daughter was experiencing pain so we decided to go privately and found Toothbeary. We went for a consultation and my daughter loved the waiting room/playroom. Everyone was helpful and friendly and were very good with children. The Dentist came up with a treatment plan and we went home and booked a sedation appointment for the following week. The day before the appointment we had a phone call with our appointment time, which was early as my child is almost 3 and fasting can be harder on little ones. On the day of the appointment we went in to the waiting room then were called in to a room to weigh my daughter, give some paracetamol and put some magic cream on her hands. We went through a few questions and what would happen and then went back to the waiting room. After the cream had been on for 20 minutes we went to another area with a TV and books and met the anaesthetist (who was also great with my daughter). My daughter sat on my husband's lap with the book hiding the view of having the cannula inserted and was encouraged to press the noisy buttons. I was really worried about this part but she didn't even know it was happening! Not long after, she fell asleep and my husband took her in to the room to have her teeth removed. She had an x-ray while there and a dental nurse confirmed what was found on the x-ray. We then went to get a drink and were called back 15 minutes later to be there when she woke up. After she woke up she was a little unhappy but it turned out that was because she wanted the Peppa pig book - I guess that's the last thing she would have remembered. She didn't like the feeling of being numb but the dental nurse who stayed with us explained what to expect and she also advised us on what to do next with pain killers and food etc. My daughter received a balloon and coin for the machines and we were on our way not long after she woke up. I couldn't fault the whole process, Toothbeary couldn't have made it any better for my daughter, she didn't once feel any stress or pain. The nurse overseeing patients was also lovely and reassuring and I really appreciated having her there to guide us through everything. I would highly recommend Toothbeary if your child needs to have dental work under sedation.

Fantastic experience: It’s a long review but I find it impossible to explain in a few words just how AMAZING my child’s experience was with Toothbeary. My story is below but I firstly wanted to say thank-you to all the wonderful staff we met-I couldn’t remember all your names (sorry!) but I noted down Louise, Dr Fernandez, Dr Will and Herra-you were all just incredible and top experts whilst being so wonderful and kind at the same time! When my local dentist told me that my 5 year old would need fillings and possible extraction I was absolutely devastated. My child was already frightened of the dentist due to them attempting a filling before and he was fidgeting a lot from the noise and drilling. The NHS waiting list in my area was a 15 month wait for GA and treatment! I was so worried and decided to look up a suitable dentist that could help asap. After a long search I came across Toothbeary. Toothbeary is a 4.5 hour round trip from where I live but let me tell you that it is worth every single mile we travelled. First appointment: From the moment we arrived my son felt so welcomed and was instantly at ease with no fear in sight! He loved playing with the toys in the waiting room before being called to see the lovely dentist and dental nurse. They were so amazing, patient and gentle and explained everything to my son in a child friendly way. As a mother I’ll be honest-i felt absolutely awful with myself that my son needed treatment and felt i would be judged. But at no point did they make me feel this way-they reassured me and supported me throughout which meant the absolute world. The dentist explained all the and we decided to go IV sedation. They went through the process in great detail and we were booked in later that week (so quick!). We were given a pack to take home which included a storybook to read to my son about a bear having treatment which was fantastic! IV sedation day: My son returned to the dentist (skipping in) with no fear due to having such a great experience earlier in the week. Every step from the sedation to the dental treatment and aftercare was amazing. Louise checked up on me and Dad throughout which was really lovely-I think she could see I was a bit emotional. My son had his treatment and was completely fine. Dr Fernandez came out and spoke through everything and advised on the aftercare. My son didn’t remember anything around the treatment or about the IV going in either because they did a wonderful job in distracting him! The dental treatment is pricey but you do have the option to put on a payment plan and in my opinion is worth every penny for the expertise and kind nature you receive. I feel like if i went anywhere else my son would have been left traumatised and wouldn’t have gotten anywhere near the care he received. I really can’t thank Toothbeary enough and would recommend to anybody who wants exceptional and caring dental care for their children.

Fantastic experience: Our daughter’s milk teeth were damaged before birth and the NHS wanted to remove all her teeth . Fortunately our dentist referred us to Toothbeary who did a wonderful job saving her teeth and giving her a beautiful smile. Our children have always loved going to Toothbeary for check ups. We have since moved up north and our new dentist told us that our daughter’s dental work is the best he has ever seen on a child!!! Fantastic experience: Its hard to explain just how good Toothbeary really is. They were initially recommended to me because my daughter had a gum infection from pretty shoddy work by a previous dentist. She needed to have an infected tooth removed and is generally a very nervous/anxious child. Our regular dentist just didn't have the patience to deal with her and it was all causing huge anxiety while we needed to get the tooth removed ASAP. The general calm, kind and caring nature of everyone working there immediately put my daughter at ease and while she threw many curve balls at the staff on trying to remove the tooth, they remained calm and relaxed and eventually got the tooth out and cleared up the infection. We were so blown away, we immediately joined the Toothbeary club for both my daughter and son. It's an hour drive away so not ideal however my kids now actually look forward to dentist appointments and love going in. Being private, there is obviously a cost to them and it might well be higher than a standard private dentist but one can not argue with the value for money! Thank you Toothbeary!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely flawless experience. We had to have a front tooth removed from our 3 year old. She visited them first and it was incredibly calm and child friendly. We had a story book to explain everything that would happen. She was looking forward to the day. The friendliness and easy nature of every single person she encountered meant she had a positive experience the whole time through and woke up happy and excited to get the toy from the vending machine. Fantastic experience: My 5-year-old daughter was recently diagnosed with Coeliac disease, an autoimmune condition that has caused her teeth to be significantly weaker than they should be. Despite regular visits to the NHS dentist, she suffered extensive decay and pain, ultimately needing three molar extractions, two crowns, and five fillings. Because of her young age, treatment couldn’t be done in the dentist’s chair, so she was referred to the NHS waiting list for treatment under hospital sedation. However, we were informed that the waiting time could be 2-3 years, by which point the decay would worsen, and she could lose even more teeth. With no other viable options, we decided to look for an alternative solution. I contacted Toothbeary, and within two days, we had a consultation and a clear treatment plan. The following week, my daughter received all the necessary treatment in one session under intravenous sedation. The entire experience was incredibly positive. My daughter wasn’t scared at all and had no awareness of the IV. The environment at Toothbeary is exceptional, the staff are wonderful, and the whole process was smooth and reassuring. I have complete confidence in them and would highly recommend their services to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Finding Toothbeary was an absolute godsend for us. We were on a private waiting list elsewhere for my daughter’s two baby teeth to be removed due to trauma from a fall and there having been an infection arise. Rather than having to wait many, many more months for my 2 year old to have general anaesthetic in a hospital setting whilst her teeth got worse and re-infected, we were able to have IV sedation within a week of me calling Toothbeary. We are about a 4 hour drive away so they let us travel down for the initial assessment on the first day and we stayed overnight and my daughter had the IV sedation procedure first thing the next morning. They’re in an absolutely wonderful, relaxed setting that my daughter loved (including an amazing toy/play area). The procedure was quick, pain-free (daughter didn’t cry once, in fact she smiled at us as soon as she came around shortly after the procedure, in a special little private bedroom where we sat with her) and we were expertly and thoroughly advised and consulted before, during and after the procedure. On top of this my daughter now absolutely loves going to the dentist because of how well they treated her whilst there. I don’t know what we would have done without Toothbeary. I was nervous whether to give them a go at first or to continue waiting months to go down the hospital route but I’m so glad we went with Toothbeary. In addition to this they advised around tooth care and we also opted to have x 2 replacement teeth dentures created for our little girl - we came back a few weeks later for 5 mins for them to be fitted and they are SO good - you wouldn’t be able to tell they’re not real. Fantastic experience: Toothbeary is such an amazing place and we would highly recommend!! We were referred here due to daughter not able to have work done with local. From the 1st email from toothbeary regarding the referral to after the treatment was done had been outstanding. All the staff were professional yet super friendly. The consultation was amazing!! The ladies were so patient, so gentle and really made daughter feel at ease. Leading up to the her sedation day, we were a little nervous (parents only) however when we arrived all the staff were friendly, smiley and very welcoming. Nothing seemed to much for them, nothing was ever forced upon you, nothing was ever rushed. The moment had arrived to go into the room. The needle in the hand time, the staff were amazing, really tried to keep her mind occupied was very good. A lady who was the sedationist, she was soo calming, softly spoken too. It was time for her to go onto the bed for the medication. ***heart break time**** The dentist put the sedation medication through the tube, whilst other staff kept her occupied, then comes the moment she got dozy and limb and close eyes and drift off! Omg both myself and dad got very tearful...... (1st time for us for sedation) The staff were fantastic, reassured us were not the only ones, reassured us that she will be fine. They kept us informed all through out, we didn't need anything however if we did I can guarantee nothing would have been an issue. It's very nerve ranking waiting for your child, however the place itself is so calm, staff always smile when catch eyes, just warmly. Some time later, we got told she's finished and is now resting, again throughout this period they came in every few minutes to check on her and us too. Got told how it all went, what to do next etc. Was amazing. Wahooo she's awake and time to leave, staff came and checked on her before we left, gave some medication (ibroprofen) to us to give to her on way home. Super kind goodbye.! So moral of this story, if you are in doubt to go through sedation for your child for whatever reasoning, don't hesitate with toothbeary. They are amazing from the very start, right up to the second you leave. All the staff are super friendly, whatever their positioning/job. From the reception ladies, to the hygienist, consultationation staffing, the sedation lady, the dentists all of them made us feel very welcome. Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing dental team! Bought my 7yo daughter here. She needed a stubborn baby tooth extracted; it hadn’t fallen out despite her adult teeth growing. She is very nervous around healthcare professionals due to previous medical trauma. Our NHS dentist was very hesitant to remove the tooth. Weronika and Anmy were absolutely amazing with my daughter. She was instantly put at ease and all worries dissolved. Both had an excellent bedside manner, built a great rapport with my daughter and Weronika even had her laughing. My daughter later told me she didn’t even feel the tooth being removed - Anmy (Dr Fernandez) did an excellent job with the extraction. My daughter wanted to stay and chat with Weronika at the end instead of leaving - she was very cool! Pink beds, TV on the ceiling and a reward on exit were all nice touches that also helped! Will definitely be visiting again in future if needed. Disappointed it is a long journey for us, otherwise we’d definitely make it our regular dentist. Also had a follow up call 48 hours later to check all was ok. Thank you Toothbeary!!

Fantastic experience: My daughter is 9 and has had dental check ups and hygiene appointments at a well regarded Surrey dentist for years. Not long after a check up last year she was in acute pain in two molars (baby teeth) and rushed to an emergency appointment there for two fillings - the prognosis was not good and we were told the teeth may not last very long. Sure enough she had a traumatic extraction a few months later. I wanted a second opinion so booked an appointment with Tooth Beary. The level of care is world class. They relax the children and reassure them. They’re always punctual and their eye for detail is another level. They found another two (thankfully minor) cavities in my daughter’s baby teeth and filled them. They sealed some crevices in two adult teeth. And they fitted a metal spacer next to the extracted tooth to ensure her other teeth don’t fill the gap. They also taught my daughter how to floss which she now does daily. They used nitrous dioxide during treatment and this made the treatment much easier and stress free. Their dentists can spot cavities other dentists don’t see through brilliant X-ray technology, amazing technical skills and by taking their time. I don’t want to think of the position we’d be in if we hadn’t found Tooth Beary.

Negative experience: My 6-year-old son had to undergo a lengthy treatment involving extractions, fillings, and a pulpotomy. We chose Toothbeary because they use laughing gas to make the process easier for children. The first visit went fine. However, during the second visit, the head dentist did not allow enough time for the anaesthesia to take effect, and my son started screaming in pain. Blood was everywhere, yet the dentist insisted on continuing the treatment without even attempting to calm him down. It was clear she was in a rush, as if we were being charged by the minute. We were horrified by their attitude and decided to leave immediately. This kind of treatment should never be allowed in a paediatric dental practice. To make matters worse, they still demanded payment - for a procedure that wasn’t completed and for a deeply traumatic experience inflicted on a 6-year-old child!

The environment is safe and welcoming and, everyone we encountered put him at ease. It was expensive but worth every penny as far as I am concerned. Fantastic experience: What an amazing little place! We were referred to Toothbeary because my 15 year old had to have 3 extractions and was very nervous. She had it completed very swiftly with IV sedation. All the staff are just amazing and really care about what they're doing and made my daughter feel as at ease as possible. Well worth the 250 mile round trip for all the appointments. Costly, but my daughter didn't get distressed at all, all done very professionally. Thank you to all the team for looking after us.

Fantastic experience: My 8 year old son had been so nervous to have two of his back teeth extracted and fillings needed however the staff at Toothbeary were fantastic and put him at complete ease. Fantastic experience: Our 4.5yo unfortunately needed a crown. We went to see Toothbeary and they were so kind and friendly. My son felt at ease. He loved the play area and the TV on the ceiling in the treatment rooms. He had to be sedated for his treatment. This was handled so well, he had numbing cream on his hand to have the cannula fitted and barely noticed it. The book that we received before the treatment explained everything clearly to our son so he was prepared for what was going to happen. Really good experience during a difficult situation.

Fantastic experience: We've been with Toothbeary Dental Practice in Richmond since 2017, and I can't recommend them enough. When other options wanted to remove my son's teeth, Toothbeary instead treated him with care and expertise, performing three fillings and placing a crown under local anesthesia to preserve the space for his adult tooth. The experience was incredible – my son didn’t even notice when the anesthetic needle was administered! The practice truly knows how to make children feel at ease. The waiting area has a welcoming atmosphere filled with toys and books, and they even give kids a coin to use in a small toy machine after their visit. Fantastic experience: Absolutely wonderful experience! We came to Toothbeary following my 3year old falling on his front teeth several times. At our first visit he discovered the play area and was in his element, the staff are so kind and introduce themselves at every step. He was able to have an x-ray which showed a cracked root and also a fracture in his gum bone, we were advised extraction was best to save the adult tooth. One week later and we were back for extraction. He was sedated and they couldn't have looked after us any better at each and every step. He received his very own story book at our consultation, which includes illustrations of the Toothbeary clinic and to be honest, helped me feel more comfortable with each and every step and what to expect. He's usually a very nervous character but you wouldn't have known and he was not aware of anything that was going on. Within 10minutes of falling asleep the tooth was out and within 15minutes he was resting on his own little bed in a special quiet room just for him. We were in the car on the way home within 2hrs of our arrival, honestly amazing! The staff, the nurse, the doctor, amazing! A special thanks to Sam our nurse, she went above and beyond to keep me informed and comforted.

Fantastic experience: I am so very grateful to the team at Toothbeary for the wonderful emergency treatment my 6 year old received there today. Having sadly had a terrible first experience with her own dentist elsewhere the day before. Fantastic experience: I cannot fault Toothbeary. My eight year old daughter is usually terrified of the dentist but she has absolutely loved her visits to Toothbeary. Every member of staff, from the receptionists to the dentists to the anaesthetists treated her like a princess. Within minutes of being there she was laughing and happily sitting for examination. Positive experience: Toothbeary dentist is a life saver for us. They were understanding and compassionate with our special needs son. Dentist visits is normally a struggle, but at toothbeary the waiting room and the examination room is so inviting, he enjoys playing and exploring. The staff managed to make the assessment and treatment as smooth and pleasant as possible. While it is a long drive and a small fortune, it was worth it.

Fantastic experience: My 6 year old son had to get a filling because he has molar hypomineralisation. Due to his age we went with the dentists advice of using nitrous oxide, which I'm glad we did. The dentist explained everything she was doing throughout to me and was also carefully and gently explaining to my 6 year old son too in a manner that he understood and was comfortable with. It was a quick procedure and my son said he felt nothing at all. All the staff made the experience very easy and comfortable for my son, which is much appreciated as he doesn't have any issues about going back to the dentist again. I would go back to Toothbeary and I would also recommend to others if treatment was required or a child was nervous at the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Toothbeary are on of my favourite paediatric dentists, I cannot fault anything! Every single staff member is just so polite and attentive, they really made our visit so warm and welcoming! I initially visited Toothbeary for my 2 year-old son (turning 3 in 2 months) and the whole visit was just so calm and extremely welcoming. My son needed quite a bit of dental work done (extraction - due to abscess (infection caused), fillings, crowns - on front teeth, fissure sealents and a pulpotomy - to save a molar instead of extraction) under IV sedation. A few days after our first appointment we rang to query about one of the procedures being done and the receptionist said she would speak to the dental nurse who examined our son and she’ll call back to discuss our thoughts and we received a call back two days later which was pleasing because sometimes receptionists say they’ll call back and you often don’t hear anything, so I was very pleased that she got back in touch, I felt quite relieved to be honest. To say the least, we definitely spent quite a bit of money but it was certainly worth every penny! On the day of my son’s treatment every staff member who was involved in his procedure and treatment were just absolutely so reassuring and caring, they really do care about making you feel at ease especially your child/ children. I honestly recommend Toothbeary, the service was just absolutely great from the beginning to the end we are truly very happy parents. Most importantly, my son was not in any pain after the surgery, considering he had quite a bit of work done, he was was pain free!

Fantastic experience: We have been with Toothbeary for about 12 years which has been a wonderful experience for our son and ourselves. Their warm and friendly staff are so knowledgeable and made every effort to make us feel comfortable. Toothbeary performed sedated dental surgery on our 6yo son and it was such a positive experience for him that we stayed with them. At his six-monthly checkups, toothbrushing school had always been very effective in teaching him better ways to brush and floss (it reinforced the lessons we had taught him) and the staff answered any questions at every visit. Most recently, our 18yo son had to have a wisdom tooth removed and again this was a positive experience with their dental surgeon. Fantastic experience: My son Arthur needed a tooth out and required IV sedation, I couldn’t fault a thing from start to finish, As parents we were really nervous on the day as our son has never been sedated before, we was put at ease straight away by the lovely NHS nurse that was a stand in on the day he was brilliant with Arthur and explained everything so thoroughly. The sedationist Will was brilliant and couldn’t thank him enough for keeping our son safe and also to Nicole who carried out Arthur’s treatment. Fantastic experience: My 4 year old daughter went to Toothbeary last week as she needed to have her tooth pulled out. Toothbeary were able to arrange an appointment for the following day and were absolutely incredible. I would recommend them to everyone whose child needs dental treatment. All the staff were friendly and created a relaxing environment. It didn't feel like a dentist at all and my daughter was so relaxed. The Dentist explained everything to her in an age appropriate way and really helped to make her feel calm. She said she didn't feel a thing and she was conscious during the procedure. Fantastic experience: Really exceptional service. My daughter (13), has complex needs associated with her neurodivergence and anxiety which was NOT apparent during her time at Toothbeary. Years of being unable to attend dentist was resolved, not least because she returned following her initial consultation! There’s a magic about the place. Getting her out of the home was more challenging than an invasive procedure under general anaesthetic. Thank you. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: My very nervous teenager required IV sedation for four extractions. The whole team at Toothbeary were so kind and cheerful they managed to make it a positive experience! Reception staff are friendly and efficient. Highly recommend this fantastic practice.

Fantastic experience: I would like to thank the dentist at ToothBeary. My 2 years old daughter has tooth cavity in 5 teeth. We went to NHS dentist but there was a long wait since my daughter needed IV sedation procedure. We were recommended by our dentist to visit Toothbeary. Dentist & staff at Toothbeary were very professional and caring towards us. My daughter had 4 crowns and one tooth taken out, but since then she is pain free and sleeping really well at nights. It cost us around £2400 but it was worth it. Thanks again Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: Our daughter required a tooth extraction from her palate and we are so glad we picked Toothbeary. At 9 years old she has had 2 procedures in hospital (unrelated) that required general anesthesia and so going into Toothbeary she was extremely anxious about having a cannula again. Nurse Nicky and Dr Will were both incredibly kind and patient explaining how everything was going to work and made her feel at ease. They cleverly brought out Where’s Wally to distract her from the cannula going in - she didn’t feel it (had numbing gel ahead of this) and was happily surprised to see it was all done. Dr Will was brilliant at administering the anesthesia and she was off to her procedure. We are hoping this positive experience will reduce her anxiety around cannulas - thank you! Dr Jahrad had spoken to us ahead of it and was able to answer all of our questions. He too could see our daughter was nervous and was very reassuring and kind with her. The procedure lasted about 20 minutes and we were back with our daughter in a sweet, small bedroom as she came around. We were there for 2 hours start to finish and she has been healing well at home. We had emergency contact information as well as pain medicine indications so felt after care was great too - they checked in on us 24 hours after with a follow up phone call. Would use the Toothbeary team again without a doubt and recommend their services.

Fantastic experience: My 5 year old recently had multiple extractions/crowns under IV sedation. We could not have asked for a better experience, everyone in the team was extremely competent , approachable and empathetic.I am grateful for the team at Toothbeary in helping restore my son’ s mouth back to health.
