Fantastic experience: I came to westmount dental for composite bonding as my own dentist were not listening to my insecurities, i have anxiety and it took alot for me to finally get the work done i knew i needed and wanted so i ventured out looking at reviews online and recommendations. Dr Zeeshan Abbas and my nurse put me at ease every appointment, they explained in detail everything making sure I was comfortable and understood. It's been a long time since I have been able to smile with my children or husband in family photos with my teeth. I feel like a new person and honestly can not thank them enough. I would recommend to anyone and I have already recommended family and friends too. Thankyou!

Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment with Lakshmi and Jane last week. I’m not normally worried about going to the dentist but recently I’ve found a scale and polish very stressful. I told Lakshmi about my concerns and she listened patiently. As a result I had a very good scale and polish which felt clean and fresh. Jane was also very nice and they worked very well together. In the future I would have no worries about being treated by Lakshmi and Jane.

Fantastic experience: Went along today for two appointments. One with Charlotte who was amazing she gave me good advice and her assistant went beyond and found me a perfect tooth brush online couldn't fault their services. I then went on to see the hygienist Lakshmi and Jane who both made me utterly comfortable. I was a bit worried about sensitivity they assured me I'd be fine and I was amazing treatment from both would absolutely recommend all these ladies at westmount dental. Unbelievable service.

Fantastic experience: Great all round experience with Dr Abbas (Zeeshan). He explained everything very well, put me at ease and conducted the treatment with a lot of care.
Fantastic experience: Dr. Zeeshan Abbas, best dentist around!! As someone in their mid 30's who's moved around a lot for work I've been treated by many dentists. I was recommended to Westmount Dental by a friend. As soon as I arrived I was welcomed by a friendly receptionist. Within minutes I was welcomed by an even friendlier dentist. Zeeshan straight away put me at ease and clearly explained my gum and teeth health like no other dentist had previously, pointing out I had sign of teeth grinding and that I should wear a mouth guard at night. I was blown away by his swift yet detailed assessment. A very pleasant experience. Even when I move again I'll make sure to book my next dental appointment around my next trip up to Boro.
Negative experience: My experience of Westmount is that they are a money-driven, misleading company that wasted my time and energy. I joined in October 2024 and after two visits, I cancelled my plan in December 2024. Requests for refund were ignored. I followed their complaints procedure outlining the issues and providing evidence. They were anticipated to reply within 14 working days, which they did not. A follow-up was ignored. Following consultation with the Dental Complaints Service, I contemplated instigating a Small Claims Court procedure, but before doing so I thought I’d call and communicate my intention. They responded and partially refunded me (about two months after my original request). I was not happy with the outcome but at this stage had have enough and decided to report their shortcomings to Care Quality Commission and draw a line. Below I outline the issues I experienced: - Increase of prices within the 2 months I joined without notification or warning (e.g., routine hygiene treatment from £67 to £85); - Claims that the initial consultation entails a 45 min thorough examination. My examination lasted no more than 10 min; - Claims that the routine hygienist appointment lasts approximately 30 min. On the day of my appointment, they would deliver a 20 min treatment as the 30 min treatment incurred additional costs which were not communicated at the outset. As a result of this, I refused the treatment; - Inability by the receptionists to answer my basic questions (e.g., questions related to the fees they charge); - Phenomenal unresponsiveness to emails. Almost every email I sent required at least one follow-up for a reply. - Unfit-for-purpose complaints procedure. They did not follow their own guidelines. They did not reply within 14 working days, and several follow-ups were required to get them engage with me.
Fantastic experience: I brought my elderly parents for their first appointment today with Charlotte, couldn’t be happier with the treatment they both had and staff being sympathetic to our situation with Dad’s Dementia and lack of mobility. Other patients in the waiting room were super friendly and understanding as were admin staff, thanks ☺️

Negative experience: Imagine calling a dentist and not getting through for 40 minutes. Had to give up, simply not acceptable.
Negative experience: I have been a patient at this practice for a number of years but since it has been taken over by Westmount Dental the level of service has dropped significantly. I have had several appointments cancelled by them. The last time I managed to see a dentist was December last year. I had a regular checkup booked for June 2024 which was cancelled by them and rescheduled for December 2024. Like all of their NHS patients I have received a letter stating they will no longer be able to offer NHS dental services but anyone with a scheduled appointment in the next 3 months would still be able to attend and complete an appointment under the NHS fee system. Today I received a call from them to say that surprise, surprise this appointment has now been cancelled!! I question their ‘dedication to providing high quality NHS dental services’ as stated in their letter and believe they are only interested in private patients and the revenue they bring. I will not be taking up their offer of private dental membership and will be taking my custom elsewhere.
I am sorry to hear that you have been unhappy with your experience with us. Unfortunately we were unable to foresee how booked up we would be this soon, and we are now at full capacity for NHS appointments leading up to the end of Dec, meaning that we cannot carry out any more checkups on the NHS.

Negative experience: It would be of normal practice to mention how mich my treatment was going to be before i have it . Was charged £79on arrival and was told that there could be a little more to pay after the treatment(take out a tooth not even 5 minutes) after which i was told to pay£125 more - that in my books is more than a little more actually double more than I already paid all in all £204 to pull a tooth out that was my pension all gone for that week. I have contributed over 50 years towards my state pension and now i am expected to pay these prices for dental treatment total disgrace

Negative experience: Disappointed It was a great dental practice but recently someone from reception is not a right person, she don't offer any appointments on the day if you called 8am for the emergency appointment and while you are on the phone with her she hangs up the phone, so rude. An hour later I called again and the other receptionist offered me a appointment. I got 2 appointments on that day, and I called yesterday, the same happened, denied to offer the appointment and 2nd time I called she hung up the phone and today I called 1 hour wait in the queue, is this place is a dental practice or London hospital which took that long to answer the phone and didn't get any emergency appointments, suffered with a lot of terrible toothache past 3 days and I told them I have a 1 special need child who I need to look after 24/7 but still didn't get any appointments. Very disappointing

Negative experience: Quality of service has dropped dramatically. Advised about tooth removal and options only then to be told the next time I went that they weren’t available and will have a gap in my teeth. Changed appointments with any notification to then cancel all together. Not the same friendly practice I was used to.

Negative experience: An absolutely appalling dental surgery. I've had a few dentists here and they've never been as good as the one where I used to live (Redcar). They have misdiagnosed problems I had, leading to teeth being removed. They frequently cancelled appointments and made you ring to rearrange only to cancel again. When you finally get an appointment they are usually quite abrupt, always either trying to get you out of the room to move on to the next patient, or trying to upsell you. Personally I would avoid this practice and try elsewhere.
Negative experience: After being a patient with them for 15 years received a letter stating no NHS work is being offered anymore. Feel very let down, have always had good treatment there until recently when a large number of staff left following a take over. My newly assigned dentist told me that I needed my gums cutting off and stitched back on again. Feels like they are now just concerned with aesthetics and making money, what a shame that somewhere that had such a good reputation is now turning it’s back on NHS patients.
Positive experience: 26th September 2024. NHS check up appointment with new dentist Charlotte. I am nervous patient and she really made me feel comfortable. Thank you Charlotte. On leaving I asked if I should make next appointment but was told I would receive notification in 5 months inviting me to make an appointment. So I thought, new system. No! 2 days later received letter saying NHS dental service no longer available !!!! Offered me £19.95 a month for basic package = £239.76 per year for 2 x check ups and edging bets on needing further treatment. I think not !!! Having said all this, I think West Mount are under NHS contract April - April so believe I'm entitled to another check up on 26th March 2025. Looking forward to West Mount response. Cathleen Hewett

Negative experience: Withheld Xrays Deliberatly. I engaged Westmount to do Xrays for me, when they realised afterwards that I wasn't using them to do the work and I was going to Turkey they deliberately and maliciously withheld my Xrays by claiming they need a working week to process them. We had to cancel our appointment in Turkey due to pure lazy spite.
Fantastic experience: Great experience at my initial appointment in the Middlesbrough practice. Sebastian Wilkins (dentist) was very friendly and explained in detail exactly what treatment I needed, two extractions and the hygienist. Scans and x-rays were taken while I was in the chair and the images where also sent to my email address. A far better experience than my initial appointment I had at well known Billingham Dental Practice (who never replied to my email or followed up to start treatment) and far better prices too, so I totally recommend Westmount to anyone looking for a dentist. I forgot to add that I am a nervous patient and had anxiety about the extractions but once again I was put at ease and the procedure was over in 15 mins with needles (can't believe I actually didn't go through with sedation as with all my previous dental work, with another practice) A fantastic service and so happy I chose Westmount.
Fantastic experience: After 2 extractions this morning I'll never be nervous about visiting the dentist again .thanks to Charlotte my dentist, and her assistant Jane. They made me feel so much at ease ,at one point all 3 of us were laughing. Although I nearly broke Jane's hand from squeezing it ,even though I never felt a thing . Fantastic experience: I had an initial consultation with Seb, I wanted composite bonding as I didn’t feel confident in smiling. I didn’t feel confident in smiling due to having gaps between my teeth and they weren’t 100% straight which I wanted. Seb and the young lady who was working with gave me all the information I needed, I was confident in their abilities so I booked the next step. I booked for home teeth whitening then then I had my upper arch composite bonded and I’m really happy with the results and it’s give me more confidence in myself and smiling. I would definitely recommend Westmount Dental, I’ve already got mates booking appointments. I would also like to thank Seb for everything ☺️

Fantastic experience: The dentist that we seen today was really polite and friendly she gave good advice to my son on making sure he brushes the gum line to keep his gums and teeth healthy. She asked Liam if he had any questions and if he had any problems with his teeth to come back and get it checked. Lovely clean modern dentist room, pleased with the visit today.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service front dentist, no treatment needed but discussed options for the future. Upon arrival my paperwork was incomplete/not received? I filled it out online a few days before I attended my appointment - then I had to fill it all out again ( luckily I had the paperwork with me)

Positive experience: Service provided by the dentist was a routine check up which lasted less than 2 minutes and I was charged £26.80 which had gone up £3 since visiting 6 months ago

Fantastic experience: Charlotte was very pleasant & welcoming. She asked me about any issues I’ve had & my routine for brushing & flossing. I had a full check up along with a clean of a few teeth which was needed. I also had x rays of my teeth which Charlotte discussed with me afterwards. Positive experience: Lovely lady saw me this morning. Unfortunately she wasnt well so couldnt finish the appointment (i hope she is ok). I wasnt sure what my appointment today was for as i previous thought it was for fillings as i needed to be numb but when i questioned with receptionist when they originally rang to rearrange appt she ensured me i didnt need fillings, yet when i arrived it was for fillings. Overall though it is a brilliant dental surgery. I feel my family gets very well looked after.

Fantastic experience: I have been with the practice for more than 5 years and in all this time I have found the service to be excellent. The receptionists could not be more helpful and welcoming and the dentists always provide excellent treatments. They make me feel me special as a patient and I would always recommend them to family and friends.

Fantastic experience: Called this morning at 8am as I had really painful toothache. Got an emergency appointment at 2 pm the same day. By 2.15pm the tooth had been extracted and I was on my way home. Can't thank the receptionists and dentist enough. They always go above and beyond.

Fantastic experience: I have been with previous practice for years before Westmount Dental took over this is my second visit with Westmount and I was very pleased with the service I received from text receptionist dental nurse and Dentist really lovely welcoming staff Thank You
Positive experience: I would of given 5 star rating, reduction was due to initial appointments for next 6mth check-up kept changing which then became a 9 to 10mth check-up. The dentist and assistant were very friendly.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic , Friendly service! Nothing is too much trouble the reception girls will help wherever possible. My Dentist Zeeshan is fantastic always has me at ease and explains everything before any dental work. Overall a brilliant dentists. I wouldn’t hesitate to join the team.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first time visiting Westmount Dental practise. I was very pleased with the outcome of my visit. The dentist I saw was amazing, he explained everything thoroughly & was very caring & considerate. I was very anxious about having a tooth extraction but he made me feel at ease & talked me through everything with a caring & compassionate nature.

Fantastic experience: Got in same day for emergency appointment when a front filling fell out and left a gaping gap in my front teeth. Had a different dentist and she was lovely. I’m always very nervous but she put me at ease and she did my check up there and then. This saved me coming back for my booked appointment in a couple of weeks (& also so it came under my Band 2 treatment cost). Excellent service thank you

Fantastic experience: I was greeted promptly and warmly at reception by Alex. I was seen for a check up with Charlotte, she was professional, thorough and on time. I had some problems with filling out the forms prior to the appointment but eventually managed using the link on the final reminder text.

Fantastic experience: Amazing made my little boy feel comfortable she was lovely with both of us only thing I say is my son got cerebral palsy and found the stairs a little difficult witch there were amazing helping

Fantastic experience: Today was THE 1st time I've *enjoyed* seeing a dentist. Dr Seb Wilkins was simply fantastic. And he actually made me feel good about my teeth. Hopefully NOW I can lose my fear of the dentist and go for regular check ups. I was a very nervous patient and Dr Seb put me right at ease. I cannot recommend this guy enough. Thank you.
