The entire treatment was expertly done, every step was clearly thought through, mapped out, and explained to me. I was treated with great care throughout by Andreas and Marie. Fantastic experience: Dr Alex is the most professional dentist I have ever come across. His constant communication throughout treatment makes you feel extremely at ease, he takes into account any anxiety or worries and ensures your comfort at all times. I’ve struggled to commit to constant treatment for years, having had poor previous experiences with other clinics, but for the first time in my 30 years I’ve had no fear returning to receive Treatment multiple times and each time I come away feeling like I couldn’t possibly have had a more comforting experience. The whole practice is always clean, calming and the staff are all lovely. I can’t thank them enough, and would recommend highly.

Fantastic experience: The dentist there told me "honestly, you should not feel any pain". When a dentist tells you "honestly", you usually run. Well, it appears that it was really pain free ! All was clearly explained, what I could feel afterward (nothing in fact). Great dentist !

Negative experience: I’ve been an existing patient at this practice for a year and a half. It’s become to clear to me, that this clinic operates to make a profit rather than truly spend the time and care for their patients. In my case, they are not diligent with their dental cleanings. Further, they are charging almost as much as the original cost of my overnight retainers to replace the existing tray. This is poor form, as most dental practices either provide you one or two spare sets of retainers, or replace these retainers at no cost. I would suggest any new patients look elsewhere for their dental treatments.

Fantastic experience: I’m always so impressed with the service Crescent Lodge provide. I will never go to anyone else about my teeth, even though I now live miles away. The staff on the front desk are always really helpful and smiley. Nazir has such a way of making me feel calm and he ensures I understand everything. I really could not recommend this dentist enough, thanks Crescent lodge - as always!

Nasir included a scan of my teeth and was able to settle the cause of a shadow on one of my teeth. No action needed for now - a welcome outcome! Edyta (hygienist)was brilliant as always. I credit her for getting my gums -especially a problem area- back to top form. An excellent team!

Positive experience: Before my wife pass away she believed in Crescent lodge Dental Practice, since I work for uncle S, I had other avenues. I had a few things done with Crescent lodge dental but my wife sold me on this dental agency, but with every appointment my wife made sure her cleanings were up to date and her teeth check and all was great, as she believed in Crescent Lodge Dental.

Positive experience: I find the Dentist as always welcoming and professional. I have been using this practice for over 15 years. I have always found the reception staff fantastic and welcoming until today. I arrived and there was three receptionists present. One was taking a phone call, I patiently waited infront of one who wasn't on the phone. She didn't even look up at me. She could have said " just a minute please", I would of understood. Instead, without raising her head, she asked, "Can I help you?" I explained that I had an appointment after a brief she said "take a seat". At no time did she raise her head. The coldest welcome I have experienced at this practice. Professional Dentist, Professional Hygenist, unprofessional receptionist, very sad as politeness costs nothing.

Fantastic experience: I'll preface this review by saying that I'm typically a nervy customer when it comes to anything dental related. What I can now say, is that these nerves are totally misplaced when it comes to Crescent Lodge. Over the past week, I've had an emergency dental issue which resulted in a root canal. In this time, I've had the pleasure of dealing with three doctors; Rachael, Alexander & Danielle. All three have been thoroughly professional & done everything they possibly could to ensure that I was comfortable. Along with this, the reception staff have been incredibly helpful & have responded to me promptly (far quicker than I'd reasonably expect). The level of care is second to none. The team really does go above & beyond.

Fantastic experience: Dentistry used to be a painful nightmare. But my experience of Crescent Lodge is the polar opposite. A special shout out to the perfectionist and painless @RachaelSuffern who does world class work so incredibly pleasantly.

Fantastic experience: I attended an emergency Dental appointment Wednesday here after suffering from days with a severe tooth infection in my right back molar causing headaches and pain so bad I could not sleep well for several days. I had contacted 111 who had given me an emergency appointment and antibiotics; but this did not help - they could not help further and my own dentist had no appointments (the sob story of NHS Dentist in England - absolutely horrendous). I'm so glad I was seen in a professional, polite and clean environment so quickly. My Dentist Nasir (and hygienest Helga) listened, did his own checks and offered me a great emergency solution I had not heard of and was not offered on the NHS - nerve extraction! Not only was this a relatively quick procedure but already I'm feeling so much better - the relief I was seeking! And honestly the cost was not as eye watering as I had predicted it to be at £160 total. I highly recommend this clinic

I had my wisdom teeth removed and they were absolutely fantastic — So calm, reassuring and really took their time to answer my questions, never rushing me. They’re extremely skilled as the procedure was pretty much painless, and they made it as non invasive as possible. I’m truly grateful to them for providing me with such excellent care.

Negative experience: I had an extremely disappointing and painful experience at this clinic. I visited for two dental implants, and the entire process took almost a year. It was long and incredibly painful. One of the implants failed, and the other is still causing me constant pain and discomfort, making it impossible to use. I have never experienced such severe pain after an implant procedure in my life. Despite paying thousands of pounds for what I hoped would be a professional and effective treatment, I have nothing but pain and frustration to show for it. I expected better care and results for the price, but unfortunately, this has been a complete letdown. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone seeking reliable dental care. Fangju

However good work .. intensive and invasive.. lots of faffing about with different techniques and bespoke fine work … Great no anaesthetic… no pain or discomfort… ! Brilliant…. ! Fantastic experience: Booked an appointment quickly to have my fixed retainer reattached, where it had detached from one tooth. They charged £50, which was better than my regular dentist. The procedure was easy, I was in and out in 10 minutes.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient for over 20 years and they are superb at what they do. Everyone I have met has been highly professional and incredibly personable.

Negative experience: This is the worst dentist I have ever been to. The prices are ridiculously high and they are constantly harassing you to do further treatment. I had implants (upper) and I have never been in so much pain in my life. I was literally howling in pain for two days. I don’t know why they didn’t give me stronger placements. I had Invisalign done and the retainer snapped. I was charged over £300 to repair and it took less than 15 minutes. I do teeth whitening but they won’t let me have the teeth whitening solution until I have seen the dentist for an extra ordiately price check up and a visit to the hygienist. I have just had new retainers made but they won’t send them to me in Bath, even though this is the place I am spending the next month. Crescent lodge is not interested in the patient. They are interested in making money. I imagine they are owned by private equity. Or a greedy dentist. Whichever, I have spent many thousands of pounds there and they continue to get worse and worse. I recommend you try elsewhere. Zoe

Fantastic experience: My son has just completed his course of teeth straightening with a brace under Dr Dino Birkenstock. It took 13 months to complete the process and I can’t thank Crescent Lodge enough. The receptions are always so polite and friendly. They are very accommodating and always helpful (I’ve clocked up a lot of waiting time in the reception area). Dr Birkenstock was amazing. He really put my son at ease and explains things clearly and thoroughly. I was recommended this practice by a friend and I want to now, recommend it again…in fact it’s so good, I have now just stared Invisalign. Didn’t think I’d ever go back and have braces again at my age but with Crescent Lodge, the decision was easy. THANK YOU CRESCENT LODGE!

Fantastic experience: I had a pretty bad accident last night whilst jogging, leading to my three front teeth completely damaged and chipped. My best friend recommended me this practice for treatment. I was expecting to wait for a number of days, but they saw me within 24 hours and were absolutely brilliant in fixing my teeth. Hussain, my dentist, and Cynthia, the nurse, were kind and caring throughout, making me feel very safe when I was probably at my lowest. Both stayed far longer than the allotted appointment time to help fix my teeth. By far the best dentist experience I've had in my life I cannot recommend this practice enough. Top tier professionals, extremely nice staff and a great overall experience. Thanks again, Hussain and Cynthia!

Even though I have had a lifelong terror of dental treatments. Hussain & Maria make the experience almost painless. I have known Maria for decades. Fantastic experience: Update Nov 2024: Yet again Pure Excellence & Outstanding service and Mum and I are now regular patients :) Our dental hygienist is Bretton Janolo who is exceptional! Update July 2024: Once again Pure Excellence. I went to Crescent Lodge for an emergency appointment and an hygienist clean this time around and it was the most outstanding service I have ever received from a private dentist. They truly do care and put the patient teeth health and concerns at the fore front. I will be going back again to schedule an appointment & will continue to schedule hygienist appointments too after my first experience. Absolutely adore Crescent Lodge, it is one of the most rarest and professional gems based in Clapham! Previous review: Pure Excellence. Crescent Lodge were absolutely exceptional when I called to book an emergency appointment for my Mother. The receptionist who dealt with the call was outstanding and got my Mother booked in on the same day. The dentist she was saw was excellent and we will be back again for follow up treatment. The practice is clean to a very high standard and has this extraordinary calm ambience from the moment you walk in! All the staff are polite, respectful and so helpful! Highly recommend!!!

Negative experience: "I had a very disappointing experience with this dentist. I went in to have my wire retainer replaced on the front of four teeth, but instead of reviewing my past records, she asked me how many teeth had the wire. This lack of preparation was concerning. When the retainer was finally placed, it was poorly positioned and unusable because it was touching my tongue, causing discomfort. She then decided to move the wire to the back of my teeth. Unfortunately, when she removed the initial wire, a residual piece was left behind. At that point, I completely lost trust in her ability. This experience was frustrating and unprofessional, and I am now left with unresolved dental issues. I would not recommend this practice to others based on this encounter."

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a Dental Hygenist, then I highly recommend Maria Corbalan Ciudad, I have seen Maria since Oct 2021, I had bleeding gums which were swollen (as I had been naughty and not flossed) She setup a routine for me to follow as well as her cleaning up my gums. Now! I have no more swelling or bleeding gums, I only have to see her twice a year instead of every 3 months. I was so happy when I heard her say ‘it’s like a different mouth’! She is patient in her approach, through in her cleaning and puts you at ease. I highly recommend Maria.

Positive experience: This is a large dental practice but the service they offer is always friendly and personal. The dentist, Nasir, took time to explain the work he was going to do and to discuss specific considerations for me due to a health condition. He also checked that I was ok throughout the procedure. One star removed due to an earlier experience with a hygienist. I will choose a different one next time.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this dental practice for literally decades. Even though I've now moved out of London, I think it's worth my while travelling to still visit them. Can't recommend them highly enough.

I occasionally need to change dentists due to availability and everyone I’ve seen has been knowledgeable friendly and informative. I also did Invisalign with Dino Birkenstock at this practice who was fantastic.

Positive experience: All treatment and attitude of practitioners was faultless. One thing I didn’t like was having to wait for the hygienist downstairs on a small stool in a very small windowless and airless hallway with a fellow-patient who had a cold.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Crescent Lodge for over 10 years, mainly for a check up or to see Maria a hygienist. About two years ago I needed an implant, I was referred to Andreas their specialist, he was fantastic! The procedure took over 9 months, as I needed a bone graft. I had so much confidence in Andreas, he really put my mind at ease, he has such a calming nature. Always explaining the process throughout the treatment. I'm so pleased with the result. Recently a back tooth with an old filling fractured, Danielle saved the tooth with a new white filling and it looks amazing, like a new tooth. All the staff at Crescent Lodge seem to enjoy their work there, from the lovely ladies on the desk to the medical staff at a well run practice. Thank you Richard
