Fantastic experience: Went to have a wisdom tooth removed. First tooth out in over 40 years and I was a quivering wreck! Matt explained the procedure and took time to make me feel at ease. I had a few numbing injections which I hardly felt. During the procedure Matt and the dental nurse continued to talk to me and reassure me. Cannot fault their dedication and professionalism throughout my visit.

Negative experience: The practice is good but the receptionist over there is terrible . She often bills it wrong . Devoid of any decency in how to talk to customers and she is arrogant and ill mannered and she feels that she owns it . Not really sure how she is allowed to even continue with the job

Fantastic experience: Having had a fear of the dentist for years, I was very nervous about having treatment on a number of teeth. However that all changed when I was recommended Matt by my cousin who is also a dentist and recommended him. Farsley Dental Practice is unlike any dentist I have ever been to in my life. From the Reception to the principal dentist, everyone made me feel extremely comfortable and were happy to answer any question, no matter how small. I dealt with John in consultation and then Matt performed my treatment. Both of them were both extremely personable and this added to my experience a great deal. Matt's treatment has been without fault across a number of difficult procedures, even though I had various complications that made them even more difficult. I was carried through by how calm and collected Matt was, I was also constantly reassured by him, as he keeps you up to date throughout the procedure. Managing my expectations not only limited how stressed I felt, but also demonstrated how knowledgeable he was. I will use Matt as my dentist for the rest of my life and I wish I could have given Farsley Dental more than 5 stars
Positive experience: Great dental practice. Downgraded review after trying to call. Phone calls not answered. Kept in a queue then sent to an answering machine, not good if you want to reschedule an appointment. Tried multiple times today and once last week. Got through on the 4th attempt

Fantastic experience: Even though i get quite nervous before an appointment, i have always been pleasantly surprised how gently i have been treated here, especially my last app yesterday with Pavanjeet, she was so gentle, my nerves were gone immediately. I'm so pleased i am registered with this dentist, they have always been very professional and friendly, can't imagine going anywhere else, neither would i want to.

Fantastic experience: I’d a dental appointment with the Hygienist @FarsleyDentalPractice where I was gifted a mini teepee brush to push between my teeth. To be fair I did have also a bit of a scrape, clean and polish with Vicky at the helm, ably aided by Megan with her sooper, slobber reduction, splutter, sucker apparatus all in the same price. Firstly, it was the usual examination. In most exams you are expected to aim high, oh yes, the higher the better, yet at the dentists a zero is cause for a bit of a celebration. It seems I’m pretty good with no high scores for me, I even caught Vicky coming out with the odd zero, phew. After emptying my pockets of any available funds to pay (can you believe they didn’t want my euros from my holiday on reception) we are now on reduced rations until the credit card bills paid off. Ok, so they do a very good and necessary job and make it all as endurable as possible so it’s well worth it. Thank you Farsley Dental Practice

Fantastic experience: Superb from beginning to end I have been with Farsley dental practice for a few years always been Impressed with the dentist I saw good communication friendly and honest. Last week I visited for the first time as an NHS patient as previous dentist does not do the NHS patients. I met a new dentist. As I said I was quite nervous as being a man have a very low pain threshold and have been used to the previous dentist who Is brilliant. The new dentist did a complete checkup and I returned today still feeling a little nervous for a filling that badly needed replacing. His bedside manner was brilliant he explained everything before and as he was performing the action and I was completely relaxed and at ease what a great person Professional but also very caring. Also, the dental nurse worked so well with him and the whole experience was a pleasure I would like to thank the receptionist, the dentist, and the dental nurse plus all the other smiling staff at Farsley dental practice from a very satisfied patient. I am not sure If there are places for NHS left as good dentists are hard to find but this practice goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable but either private or NHS I would highly recommend this Practice. Fantastic experience: At 75 years old I have had a few different dentists in my life, but I have never had one has good as Jonathan at Farsley Dental, he is not only excellent at his work, but takes time to explain what he is doing, and as a patient laid on your back it’s very reassuring. Fantastic experience: I have had some expensive work done, some not so expensive work done and I have had just worries. It hasn't mattered at all. The treatment has always been reassuring and pleasant as going to the dentist can be. The team reassure me. They make time to help me with having injections which was a problem for me but they take the dentists and nurses have always taken plenty of time to make comfortable. And the reception team are always cheerful. It's a professional place,bin an easy going style.

Fantastic experience: I had a couple of recent appointments at Farsley dental practice, and in short, there was a slight miss understanding on the 2nd appointment around the service, between myself and the practice. Upon my complaint, Farsley Dental Practice were happy to reimburse most of my payment and explained what had occurred and clarified everything. I can honestly say thank you ever so much for the reimbursement and how you dealt with my concern. The practice dealt with it in the highest professional manner and reimbursed me more than what I felt I deserved. Not to mention how both appointments with the dentists went superb. To be honest, how they had dealt with it, I now feel bad I had ever complained in the first place. Even prior to my recent two appointments, I've visited the practice for years and they have always been Fabolous. An absolute credit to you all at Farsley Dental Practice and apologies on my behalf for the miss understanding. Thank you to the dentists, Katie and last but not least, the receptionists. Fantastic experience: I recently called regarding tooth pain and was seen by Pavan and Lianne the same day, both were friendly and professional throughout my appointment. Following a diligent series of tests they identified a failed filling which was removed and replaced. Another great experience with excellent patient care.

Negative experience: Rushed to finish a work meeting to make sure I was on time for my appointment. Waited until 10.30 before I was seen without any comms in between. Apparently the reception staff hadn't booked me into the system when I arrived and was directed to the waiting room, so the dentist didn't know in was there! A bit galling when you're supposed to be back at work, and then charged £115 for the 10mins checkup and xrays!

Fantastic experience: The best dental surgery in the north! Everyone is very friendly, the price is great and there’s loads of options to pay including finance available. Fantastic experience: I was nervous due to having a crown fitted to a back tooth. The dentist was kind, friendly and very efficient. She was very understanding and helpful due to me feeling rather dizzy because of the injections. On returning for the crown finishing it was done with efficiency and, thankfully, with very little discomfort. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: I arrived for my 9 am appointment 10 minutes early and knocked on the door to be let in, as it was raining, and the door said they were open from 8:30 am. Only for a member of staff to begrudgingly open the door and rudely ask what I wanted. Eventually, she let me in, and the receptionist let me sit in the upstairs waiting room. I could then hear the staff member complaining and saying awful things about me to her colleagues in the other room. I find this unacceptable! I've been a patient at Farley Dental Practice all my life and never met such a rude member of staff.

Fantastic experience: It’s more than a decade since I visited a dentist. I found it very hard to find someone I could trust implicitly. On a recommendation from a friend whose opinion I valued, I went to see Jon yesterday. It was a revelation. Not just the big advances in diagnostic technologies but a sea change in patient engagement. I know the stabilisation plan he is developing will not be cheap; but it will give me a clear road map to get things right. I am 70 this year. So far, very glad I took my friend’s advice

Fantastic experience: I was sent here as my usual dental practice had their roof collapse. I went in for emergency work and I can't recommend this practice enough. The staff were professional, the dentist who saw me had amazing bedside manner and excellent communication, he walked me through each step of the procedure as he worked. The tools and equipment were of higher quality than I've experienced elsewhere (especially the x-ray sensor film which was soft and round, as opposed to sharp and square). Definitely the best experience I've had. The price was a lot more reasonable than a certain 24/7 clinic which I shall not name.

Fantastic experience: Had an appointment to have a tooth repair yesterday and Bailey was so lovely! Made me very at ease. It’s such a clean and relaxed environment!
Fantastic experience: I phoned yesterday morning for an emergency appointment and was given a time later that day. As a patient who hasn't visited a Dentist in a long time I was very nervous and unsure what to expect. I need not have worried as it was a great experience, everyone I encountered was fantastic - from the initial phone call to the wonderful Dentist and assistant. I was seen by Matthew Condon and cannot stress enough what a different experience it was under his care. I've previously had some bad experiences which have really put me off going for years. He put me at ease immediately, no judgement and no lectures. He just got on with what needed doing to get me out of pain and recommended other necessary treatment. The treatment was painless and he checked in with me throughout to see how I was. The assistant was also fantastic and helped me out on reception afterwards. I have booked 2 further appointments and am actually looking forward to having work done. This is from someone who has been terrified of going for years. I cannot recommend Matthew and Farsley Dental enough. If like me, you've not been for years and are worried about being judged, don't be worried - just make that appointment here. My whole viewpoint on receiving treatment has been changed in one visit. Thanks to all at Farsley Dental.
