Fantastic experience: Felt I had to share my post publicly regarding Hedon Dental Pratice, it's the first I have ever posted. Had 3teeth extracted yesterday and felt unwell afterwards ,the care which was given to me by the Dentist Mo and his dental nurse was nothing short of First Class. Been a patient for many years Always found the girl's from reception and the hygienists very polite and helpful!

Positive experience: I have used the practice for about 20 years. I have been part of the discussion around care of my teeth and I have felt listened to. I appreciate Vlad’s skill, hindness and previously, honesty. Yesterday was my first visit since they went private and I was disappointed that the dentist tried to “ upsell” a filling to me which was not deemed necessary a few months ago when I was an NHS patient. Nothing had changed about the tooth in question. I found this disappointing. My teeth were damaged as a child by the payment per filling model of the 1970’s I have no wish for my teeth to be used as a “cash cow” again.

Fantastic experience: I have been with the Hedon Dental Practice since 1980 and have seen many dentists in that time. But I think the current practice is the best. The staff are friendly and attentive at all times and give good advice. I saw Josephine Odozor last week and she was friendly and very professional and so was the dental nurse.

Fantastic experience: Requested an “emergency” apointment and the team managed to fit me in the same day. I received treatment by the super friendly staff. And all was well.

Positive experience: Good dentist absolutely Love - Mo Aslam & Emma Jobling such an amazing team, excellent receptionists, been with this dentist before they became this practice. I have only had two issues with Jason Spence who was terrible with my young son with Autism & ADHD at the time, he threw his tools in temper across the room when my son wouldn't open his mouth very unprofessional. Then when I complained about not being able to change an appointment he took hum-bridge and touched a nerve in my mouth sending shocks down my tooth never had this before and will never go back to him ever. I wish I had reported him at the time to the relevant bodies.

Fantastic experience: I used to be really nervous about going to the dentist, but not since I've been coming here. I had an hour long appointment yesterday and the whole thing went by so quickly. I wasn't worried at all. And that's all down to my dentist and the people who work there. Highly recommended, especially for nervous patients EDIT Still a brilliant dentist, but unfortunately it is now completely private patients only. No NHS patients at all

Positive experience: Recent visit was ok but not as good as previous visits as using a locum at the moment which I didn’t feel was as attentive as the visits in the past, was kept waiting 40 minutes after my appointment time, but did receive an apology, I do appreciate we have a national shortage of dentists at present but feel on this occasion my experience wasn’t as good as before.

Fantastic experience: I had nine teeth removed and dentures fitted by mo. I've got to say he's the best dentist I've ever been to. I'm not particularly fond of going to the dentist but Hedon dental was excellent. Thank you to everyone for putting me at ease. Definitely recommend them.

The Dentist was Claire Shipley was friendly and the assistant Made me feel really at ease while having my treatment done. Appropriate advise and excellent dental treatment and a friendly atmosphere all round.

After my friends rang around, no emergency dentist available, Got advice from emergency nhs number, to see me through until the morning upon which my friends got me into Hedon dental Practice, they were amazing, took 2 X-rays explained what was happening.gave me prescription, Sent X-rays to my e-mail to show my own dentist at home. The cost was outstanding, very reasonable. Can not thank them enough for seeing me, would highly recommend them to residents near by.

I now attend appointments confidently, knowing that I am in the very best, caring hands. Everyone at the practice is professional and so kind and friendly. I recently had treatment for an abscess and a tooth removal- Vlad was the most gentle and kind dentist, putting me at ease from start to finish. I really can’t praise the practice enough.

Positive experience: Good dentist but very expensive. £99 for a hygiene clean at the time of writing is very steep.

Fantastic experience: Really convenient for any living locally... And everyone that works there seems really nice. When I go see the hygienist she's got such a calming and friendly manner I actually come out feeling all relaxed... Not bad for someone that's terrified of dentists! Really appreciate the way the dentist explains what's going on and what the options are and expected outcomes. I had to find a private dentist when my previous NHS dentist decided to stop offering treatment on NHS. Don't get me wrong - it is really expensive if you're used to paying NHS prices, but prices are clearly laid out on their website so there are not surprises and seem to be in line with other dentists. I signed up to a Denplan scheme for a year to see if it makes a difference... Although after having £600 in bills for fillings in the last 8 months I am not entirely convinced it is!

Fantastic experience: 2 days ago l had my check & saw the dental hygienist Marie who always carries out a excellent job of cleaning my teeth, always has done. This week she went above & beyond insisting to carry my coat , bag etc down the stairs due to my mobility following recent knee surgery. I was also offered to be seen downstairs when I walked in with a walking stick. All the reception staff , Usman ,dental nurses ,Maria provide excellent professional care.

Fantastic experience: Had an emergency, NHS 111 could not help for 5 days. Called Hedon Dental Practice, great advise whilst they got to see me THE NEXT DAY. God send when you are in that much pain, Id only just signed up with them the week before. Dr Moh looked after me and I can't express how during the procedure everything was explained and made me and made you feel so at ease. I have had work done in the past in London with top class Dental specialists and I would honestly say Hedon beats them for expertise and pride in their work. You can tell they have it in buckets from the front desk staff to the practitioner to the dental nurse thank you so much.

Negative experience: After having our appointment cancelled back in may, me and my daughter arrived on time for our appointment at 4pm. Another mum and son were sat and went in before us then after 10 minutes waiting another mum and son came in, never apologised for being late, so not sure if their appointment time. They went in before us. At 4.25 we finally went in and was literally in and out for our check up. I was meant to have an appointment with the ‘hygienist’, My NHS dentist used to do the scale and polish. But the dentist had made it too late for her to fit it in and I’ll have to go back at a later time. It shows how greedy private dentists are squeezing too many people in. They really need to take the sign off the door’ taking on new patients (not NHS by the way) because they haven’t the room for anyone

The staff are friendly and all the dentists I have seen are careful and welcoming. They inform you of what needs to be done and always make sure you are comfortable and happy. Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Hedon Dental Practice for private care due to the lack of availability for NHS appointments. However, I’m happy with the service I’ve received, albeit paying a bit more than I’d want to. I recently had 2 fillings done, 1 for a pretty bad chip on a front tooth, Mo has managed to get it back to pretty much how it was and ensured my aligner fitted properly. Staff friendly and helpful and clinicians made me feel at ease and regularly checking in on me whilst having treatment.

Fantastic experience: I have been getting my dental treatment for a few years now at Hedon practice. It's been the best experience overall compared with other practices. This is because the reception staff and all dental staff are easygoing, polite and helpful. Doctor Mo has always spent the time explaining the dental issue in a simplified way and then has explained what will be the best solution to resolve the dental issue quickly and painlessly. Doctor Mo shows great skill and diligence in doing my dental work always going the extra mile in terms of time and effort to get the job done meticulously.i have been to ther dentists where after treatment I've found I have had further issues or they have not spent time to resolve the problem due to not giving the time and then I've had further issues. With doctor Mo you know you will get the best dental care advice and treatment. Thank you to all the team.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Dr Mo Aslam, I had been worried about the pain in my back Molar and he sorted my right out! Treatment was done dillegently and pain free and managed to restore it and now my gnashers look good as new!

Fantastic experience: Called in for a clean and polish, only had to wait approx 5 mins before being seen. The hygienist was great and her assistant poppy was also great as well. Made me feel really at ease while having my treatment.

Positive experience: I needed an urgent appt as I had toothache, I rang on Friday and was seen on Tuesday, which was good. I need further treatment, the dentist prescribed me pain killers for 5 days (max dentists can give), but the earliest I can get in for a 40 min appt is July. So thats my only negative comment, as I have to live with the pain until then. I'll try the GP for painkillers, or if not, will have to buy over the counter ones, which are not as strong. All the staff are great, and have put me on the cancellation list.

Fantastic experience: Dentist since living with rheumatoid arthritis is a challenge and usually post dental procedure impacts me having a flare up, but the team were aware of my condition, provided support for my jaw, encouraging and supportive and assuring throughout. Explained every step and the length of time I should expect of each element, as tensing through pain or stress/nerves increases my symptoms. Their approach helps towards my maintaining healthy oral health long term. They are a great team and can also vouch positively for my sons appointments and support too.

Negative experience: The service and treatments and staff are very good. Because cannot get nhs service at this dentist my last checkup cost £55 for 5 minutes in the chair. I need a few procedures but cannot afford private costs for bridges/crowns etc. I will end up losing most of my teeth because this dentist doesn’t offer nhs prices. All dentists should be nhs..not more concerned about the money than patient care.
