Fantastic experience: I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone looking for a dentist. I have always found everyone from the reception staff to my dentist to be very polite and professional. My dentist ((who is a young man) has always treated me with dignity and respect, this was sadly lacking from my previous dentist. I am of a generation that was always terrified of a visit to the dentist, However, the dentist i see has removed that fear.

Negative experience: The stars are for the lovely dentist I saw. Please don’t book here if you are disabled and can’t do stairs. It’s on my records that I can’t go upstairs. Today I was kept at the reception desk, even though twice I said I couldn’t stand for long, because they had booked out all the downstairs surgeries. I was then told that I would have to reschedule. Many people with disabilities would have just given in and accepted that. I don’t, many years of nursing and caring for my disabled husband has made me stand up to this blatant disregard for people with disabilities. Fortunately they managed to do a swap around and I was seen. However, the first solution that I was offered should not have been an option. Disabled people have a poor time every day people should realise this and not make life harder.

We’re reviewing our processes to ensure that patients who cannot use stairs are always accommodated appropriately and with respect.

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars I would. One of the worst dentists around, management absolutely appalling treat you like a second class citizen if you are a NHS patient, very inexperienced NHS dentist staff although nice dentists in on themselves they have practically ruined my teeth due to a total lack of knowledge and experience under their belts. Terrible atmosphere in the place reception staff are rude, unprofessional and I suspect based on some conversations I overheard whilst queuing to be served have zero clue about patient confidentiality. I would not recommend these dentist to anyone I have been with them as a NHS patient for 20 years and in the past 5ish years totally gone downhill since they made all the experienced NHS dentist take on private patients only. And the staff turnover a the front desk is appalling that speaks for itself really!!

Negative experience: I would not reccomend this practice atal. I had veneer onlays on both my front teeth and one needed replacing. I specifically asked for the same proceedure which was a none invasive veneer onlay which involves removing the previous and putting another on . The dentist involved ignored my request and peoceeded to file away at my tooth which didnt have any issues to begin with , he fitted a clumpy veneer crown which has left a whistle gap between my two front teeth and i spit when i talk now which has had a great impact on my confidence . I sent numerous emails to the practice with my concerns which have been ignored . I got a second opinion but i think the lady was just covering her colleuges back . Im left with an over sized front tooth which is rough to touch with my tongue , i whistle throught the new gap he made and spit through it when i talk . I am going to the dental onbudsman to seek further assistance as the surgery is ignoring my emails . I suffered a nervous breakdown and find it hard to go to doctors/dentist as it is and they had dinted my confidence greatly . I never had the problems with the tooth before and now its always bothering me and the manager doesnt seem to be bothered . Lets see what higher authority thinks

Negative experience: Failure to return phone calls on several occasions regarding an abscess on an 8 year old child!! We ended up having to use 111 service instead. Edited to add - We didn't attend the appointment as it was too late by then. The emergency which you failed to return phone calls (x5 failed returned calls) was dealt with by 111 emergency dentist instead.

Dahake at my dentist Padiham Rd Burnley is a empathic professional person .She is light handed and explains everything as she goes on with the treatment.I am a nervous patient but in her I have confidence and can relax. I recently went for a check up with Dr .Dahake and she is referring me , hopefully , ķfor further treatment on the N.H.S., as I cannot cope ,due to a medical condition, with a dental plate after my bridge broke. My dentist found a serious problem with my jaw, immediatly sent me for a xray at the hospital where they found a mass, followed by a big opp. luckily it wasn't cancer, so I will always be grateful!

Negative experience: Shocking. Practice manager is very rude and put the phone down on me mid conversation. I had phoned 5/11/24 to ask for an earlier appointment if one was available, the receptionist advised not but they had 11am available 6/11/24 so I accepted . Routine call around 2pm yesterday to check I would be attending to which I confirmed. I woke up to an appointment cancellation text followed by an email saying I’d been removed from the practice for the cancellation of my appointment on Tuesday. The manager put the phone down on me and has since blocked my calls. Shocking service when my children are registered here so I now can’t get in touch about their appointment & care. Over my time being registered here I have swapped some appointments due to pregnancy complications, childcare issues as I have a 7 months baby, 2 year old toddler and no one to help with the children. Equally the practice has cancelled many appointments last minute and expected me to understand so very equal on the missed appointments front which I’ve always understood as things do crop up. I personally feel in this situation the dentist made the decision to no longer see me as I’m exempt and not paying as pregnant so they aren’t technically making money from me. An example being he said at my last appointment “some cavities but we will just monitor them” rather than filling them … certain if I was paying he would have wanted to fill them all. Parking is terrible, takes around 30 mins for someone to pick up a phone, staff always look overwhelmed and miserable. Although im disgusted in the situation and treatment from the manager I’m glad I’m removed and have already found a replacement for me and my family. Avoid at all costs. Money makers no compassion what so ever

Negative experience: Years ago I was registered with them,but receptionist mixed up my and my daughters surnames ( she missed her appointment because of unexpected work shift changes) and when I called them to cancel my appointment ( first time,because of my disability and health condition),next week I received letter saying that I missed appointment twice and no longer have NHS dentist. Tried to call them back and explain situation,but you can prove nothing,if they dont want to listen. Then covid came,lockdown, etc... and I left without any dental care,because to find NHS dentist was impossible. Saved some money for the private care ,which is super difficult and takes long time, if you are dissabled, on benefits without any savings, went to see them today. Again problems with appointment ( wrong day ,on the wrong name payment is added). Had to pay £49 just to hear that my dentist is not 'so clever' to do dentures to the 'soft gums' and into question ' What to do now?' ,no useful information was given: hospital doesnt do treatment,who does he is not aware about it.Extraction is possible,but you will be left without any teeth, dentures or implants?! Feeling was very simple and clear that he ( and nobody in this building) is not working with ' difficult patients' ( lack of skill or doctors became commercial traders only? fast and easy money makers? no motivation to help people even you PAID for his advice?). So,if you want filling or modern teeth whitening, these commercially motivated people will help you. They are not taking NHS patients since covid times,as most of ' highly motivated to help their patients' dentists these days, because NHS payments too low for their ambitious requirements. Maybe,not arguing with that,but if you are taking money for an appointment, at least I want to know clearly what to do next and written diagnosis? This is absurd,that doctor doesnt know how or who can give a treatment to receding gums in surrounding areas and offering to call around yourself asking who can do a 'difficult dentures'. These days,with this level of medicine? In this dentist room I felt how boring I am to them and no slightest wish to help me at all. Absolutely. Zero interest or compassion. Thanks doctor, never again! P.S: How typical of this practice, just pretend I wasnt your patient at all! Nothing else they has to say, not even sorry! Pathetic...

Negative experience: My daughter has been undergoing orthodontic treatment here for a few years now. We have had multiple encounters with poor customer service here. Staff do not keep their promises of providing a call back and do not put notes on your account so that other staff can chase the query/complaint when you’ve had to call back to chase a response. The complaints team also do not handle requests/complaints accordingly. Currently in the process of a complaint with the ombudsman because this practice refuses to facilitate a transfer following their poor customer service. If you like to be messed around for weeks on end and be caused unnecessary stress then this is the place for you.

Fantastic experience: So yes I've been going to my Dentist, Padiham Road for a few years , the Reception staff are ok but can be a bit abrupt sometimes but I suppose they do their job (some better than others ) the practice is very clean ,the waiting room upstairs ok never a problem. Irena who works upstairs is really good never a problem always cheerful. It's because of this that I've given a five star rating . So yes all in all a really good practice.

Fantastic experience: Myself and my 3 children have been going to my dentist for some time now. My dentist Dr Dashu is so patient and friendly. He talks you through your appointment and puts you at ease. My oldest two boys love the friendly banter when they have their football shirts on with them supporting Liverpool, and he supports Man United. Its nice to have a dentist who cares about their patients. The building itself is clean and tidy, and all the staff there I've encountered are friendly and ready to help.

Negative experience: Dentist brilliant, but front desk isn't. Every single time I attend, are numerous people sat there ( apparently doing nothing).. who dont even acknowledge that patients are waiting...is nit great customer service

Negative experience: Mukul neglected me medically which resulted me being admitted into hospital for 2 days having antibiotics through a drip. Another dentist quoted £1000 for a route canal treatment when it displays on the website at £250-500. When confronted about why he quoted £1000, as it states differently on the website. He refused to provide alternative treatment and suggested I looked elsewhere. Appointments are £89 and I was in the practice for 5 minutes. They lack competency and professionalism, they also need to wear masks for the circus clinic they are.

I apologise that you are also unhappy with the prices of our private care provided by our clinicians. The website states prices from, therefore this shows that the minimal price you may have to pay is from this price. All patients and treatments differ and some cases can be more complex than others therefore require more clinical knowledge and work to undertake. This therefore will incur an increase of price. Negative experience: I recently made an appointment paying 50 lire, but when that day came, I was told that they had scheduled me a day ago, I also lost money because they came with the reason that I was announced in an old number from 2 years ago years, but they had no reason to keep that number for so long and at the same time I had announced that the first 2 days of the week I would be going to school and would not be able to come, I agreed to come on January 10th, but the appointment was still made on 9 .. they have no professionalism..

Negative experience: Iam a patient, went in with severe pain on Tuesday. I was offered an emergency appointment on the following Tuesday at a cost of £89. My dog would be seen for less the same day. So here I am in pain for 7 days and paid for the privilege. Dentists today are a disgrace to the profession when they think it’s acceptable to leave a patient’ in pain for 7 days. My missus was a receptionist at a dentist and she knows I could die of sepsis before they even see me . To be fair they don’t even care.

Fantastic experience: I have huge anxiety involving dentists, to the point where I haven’t gone in 8 years.. until now! I was shaking in the waiting room, but once I met with dentist Shabs Patel (spelling?), I felt relieved and comfortable. I cannot sing my praises high enough. He was kind, informative, and was not judgemental whatsoever. I truly believe that I can overcome my hurdle and be confident with my smile again, all with the help of Shabs! Thank you Shabs! You have no idea what you’ve done for me today. Reception was lovely and kind. I forgot to get her name, but a very kind woman helped me get my treatment plan financed and she was absolutely lovely as well! I opened up to her about my struggles with my fear of the dentist, having ADHD and not being able to take care of myself as I would like, and she was so understanding and kind. I cried happy tears on my way home. Such lovely staff. I’m glad I picked this dentist :)

Fantastic experience: 6 months ago I came for a check up after having bleeding and painful gums, I was met by the dentist Assem Alshaibi who was fantastic! A check up and 2 periodontal treatments later it has all pretty much resolved! He was brilliant in answering all my questions and making me feel at ease. During the treatments he always asked if I was okay, and explained everything he was doing and everything going forward. Highly recommend booking in with him.
