Fantastic experience: Lovely staff, on the desk and in the surgery. My dentist is wonderful, she is kind and gentle, knows I'm terrified of visiting there, but puts me at ease, doesn't rush me, and makes me relax. Perfect.

Fantastic experience: I had treatment done today with Mr Parkinson and the service was outstanding from start to finish. I was promptly called into the surgery on arrival and was met with such a welcoming atmosphere from Mr Parkinson himself and his lovely nurse Danielle. As someone who is quite nervous when it comes to the dentist I was instantly put at ease. I've come away from my appointment really happy with the work I've had done. I can't thank them both enough for giving me my confidence back after years of living with teeth I didn't feel happy with.

Fantastic experience: Had all my teeth capped and veener with teeth whitening, the process was lengthy but so worth it (not the dentist fault) it was explained to me well all my options were discussed and clear to follow, mr reed saved my teeth and they look amazing now I am obsessed with them, thankyou king street ❤️ would highly and already do recommend people who want work completed.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely Aiesha is amazing ! We've been going to her for more than a few years now, what started off as a family of 3 soon became 6 with new additions. Shes so compassionate with young ones, patient and caring - shes super sensitive with us soft adults too with her secret numbing cream! Honestly cant thank her enough. Fantastic experience: Brilliant! Needed full extraction and dentures. I was very anxious about the whole procedure but Adam and his colleague gave full explanation in a very nice calming manner. Day after...settling down nicely and I feel myself beginning to smile once again! Bravo Adam (and colleagues) Thanks very much. Edit - one year on...I needed a new set as Bonzo decided to eat my last ones (thanks Bonz!). Great experience again - Adam and team explain everything very clearly and in a week or two I had replacements. So...Bravo again. It has to be said though he has a REALLY poor choice of music playing in the waiting room :) :)

Negative experience: Barely makes the effort to do nhs work don’t ask about restoration work their answer is take it out

Fantastic experience: I have the best experience every time I go to an appointment at king street. Adam is my dentist and nothing is ever too much for him! I feel he always looks at the best most affordable treatment for me and will always make time to fit me in for any emergencies. I always leave feeling confident and always feel so welcomed by the dental nurse Danielle. :)

Only today did I realise I could leave a review. I have nothing but good things to say. My dentist and assistant,Poppy are both so very kind and gentle. I have no fear going and know im in safe hands. Finally a word on reception who get unfair critique. Every single one of them have always been helpful and pleasant to me. Fantastic experience: I can't thank Will & Chloe enough for today, working on a difficult removal of a molar tooth i honestly thought at one point this procedure wouldn't happen. This certainly pushed them to their limits. Safe to say the tooth is now out. I have actually never ever been in a situation where if it wasnt for the staff, being calm and collective I would of been in a right state, and my son got through it with a fear of dentists. Anyone who isn't looking forward to going to the dentist is in Good Hands.

Fantastic experience: I recently had my first appointment at Kings Street Surgery and was really impressed. The staff were friendly and professional and the space was clean, modern and comfortable. Dr Reed was easy to talk to, explained everything clearly and made the whole process feel calm and stress free. You can tell they care about doing things right and making patients feel looked after. Fantastic experience: I usually dread dentist appointments but Dr. William Jepson has really changed my perspective on that. He explained things really well and saved a tooth with a painless root canal. I’m now starting Invisalign with him which is going really well. From my experiences, it’s rare to find a dentist that’s so personable and will talk you through everything. Really couldn’t recommend more.

Fantastic experience: I have been with this surgery for over 30 years. I have always found the receptionists to be friendly, helpful and empathetic , always try to accommodate you. My dentist is Mr Cheadle, he’s so good, I have terrible teeth but he soldiers on, always need something doing. He was so patient and kind with my daughter when she was little, she was terrified of dentists, she isn’t now and attends regularly.

Fantastic experience: Best dental practise I've ever used. Everything runs smoothly and Mr Parkinson is excellent. The whole family have been going there for years for anything from check-ups to crowns.

Negative experience: Worst dentist in the world, they left me with half of the work complete, for 6 months ive been in pain every day, ive ended up have 3 abscessin that time. Everytime I ring up, I get told the same story, your dentist isn't in today.

Fantastic experience: The best doctors, I was afraid it would hurt, but the doctor was so smart that I didn't even notice when my tooth was pulled out, I'm satisfied, I recommend it, it's the best clinic

Negative experience: My dentist really nice no problem love to have my gorgeous dentist. Giving one start to main receptionist she answered very rudely when i asked new patients form we waiting snice last years November for my son she no we not accepting any new patients less then 3 minutes aone white lady came she give her new patients sign new form .when i asked again why this lady sign thats other paper then she gossip laughing rolling eye on me why is standard colour of skin this behaviour what we say ??because of other skin colour you dont accepting. ?? Kingstreet surgery must take action against her .

Negative experience: They never answer phones !!!!! Trying to call and always listening to some music as they “to busy to pick up the phone “ this is third call today other two I give up once after 30 minutes and once after 20 minutes wish me luck

Positive experience: I was happy with this Dental Surgery up until April this year. Two appointments were cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances which is fair enough, however, it seems that a third appointment was made for May 15th which was changed apparently for the 22nd of May. After the the 2nd April one was cancelled I telephoned the reception which was when my appointment was made for the 15th May. It cost me £12.00 there and back in Taxi fares as I can't walk very far, to be told that my appointment was for the following week. I'm disgusted at this. It isn't the first time this has happened either, it has happened in previous years

Fantastic experience: Cannot praise King St Dental Surgery enough! Mr Reed goes above and beyond what is necessary. He did my braces for me (at 60 years old!) and today, when I was an hour early for my appointment, slipped me early in to repair a broken tooth.

Fantastic experience: Just finished my treatment at this dentist and I can't praise them enough. I was nervous of Dentists after a bad experience years ago so I have been having recurring abscesses and finally took the plunge and got a root canal down Absolutely no pain whatsoever and everything was explained step by step. Today there was a dental student in and I was asked if I minded everything being explained to her as the root canal was being done, I had no issues with this. The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish, booking in very quick and friendly staff. I can't begin to explain how thrilled I am at the work that has been done. Sadly I can't remember the dentist name but it's surgery 7 Thank you for making me feel comfortable at every visit Big 5 Stars from me

Fantastic experience: We were fortunate enough to be accepted by this NHS dental surgery 2 years ago. Our dentist allocated is Ms.A Blackwell. She has an assistant named Chloe and together they provide the best dental service we have ever had. I am 71 my husband is 64. We have lived all over the UK, we have lived in many european countries and even been to a dentist in the USA. None even come close to the care and professionalism tendered by this team. I am in a wheelchair and additionally they make extra provision for me to go in with my husband who helps me with seating etc. I would not hesitate in recommending this dental surgery to any nervous patient. She will put you at ease and offer practically pain free treatment, all with the best bedside manner imaginable. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank them at this time.

Fantastic experience: Getting a massive 5 stars from me. I was very impressed with my first 2 visits needing a tooth out and a clean. I suppose I can only go off my previous dental surgery experiences but definitely King Street Dental Surgery stands out for me head and shoulders above the rest. Firstly, there was no 20 minutes past your appointment time before you get called in. My appointment was 2pm and at 1.59pm I was called in Second appointment 12.15, I was called in at 12.19, super impressive because it never mattered in my last surgery if you had a 9am appointment or a 5pm appointment, I'd wait well over 20 minutes each time. Makes you feel what's the point turning up on time?? Very easy at reception booking in and out. Polite and friendly and swiftly to boot. Then the dentist, extreamly reassuring, extreamly professional and extreamly easy to understand too. I can't remember her name but absolute brilliant, thank you. The assistant, she was very polite and friendly, and they really make a good team So previous experiences prior to King Street I would say give a stressed out score of say 40% King Street Dental Surgery 0% stressed out score and that's no stress at all, thank you

Fantastic experience: I was here for the 1st time, and there helped me so much because I was still in pain with my wisdom tooth after being from emergency dentist somewhere else week before there helping me so much to get my wisdom taken out

Fantastic experience: Fantastic. Very professional. So i went in for a checkup. 5 minuetes later i was getting an x-ray and was told to come in the next day to get a filling. I had never had one before and i'm not good with needles either. My dentist made the experience very pleasant. He was checking in on me all the way. Truthfully. I was scared. My dentist made me feel safe and comfortable. He made me feel at ease. The waiting time is not bad and its not over crowded. The whole building feels warm and inviting and the seats are comfy. (Which if you don't like going to the dentist. Having a comfy chair really helps) I would highly recommend :)

Fantastic experience: Just attended King street surgery for 3 fillings had to be numbed top and bottom the injections were not painful at all I was seen by Tom Jepson he was excellent explained what he was going to do was empathetic and is an excellent dentist. Positive experience: The practice is average, do think some of the dentists could benefit from some training on how to deal with the neurodiverse. They the music loud in the waiting room which gives me sensory overload .

Like many people, I haven’t been able to get a regular NHS dentist due to shortages, so I was unsure what to expect. However, from the moment I arrived, the receptionist was friendly, efficient, and very helpful in checking me in and taking payment smoothly, making the process stress-free. The dentist, ANB, was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, kind, and truly understanding of my situation. They took the time to explain everything to me, addressed my issue with great care, and most importantly, referred me for further treatment. This is a huge relief, as I’ve been struggling for so long to get help and feeling like I was getting nowhere. Finally, I have hope, and I can’t express how grateful I am for this opportunity to receive the treatment I desperately need. The whole experience was smooth, professional, and reassuring. I left feeling listened to, cared for, and optimistic about my next steps. A big thank you to the team!

Fantastic experience: Can’t recommend this dentist enough to people. Came in 6 months ago to see Adam Parkinson and I was worried about my teeth health. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at the King St practice for a number of years. My regular dentist is David Reid. I enquired about implants. As not available on the NHS, he referred me to Mr Cornelius Peethala who also works at the surgery. The treatment took a number of months to complete. Not a cheap option, but I believe that you get what you pay for. Cornelius was polite, focused, knowledgeable and professional. I am very pleased with the result.

Negative experience: I had an appointment today at 8am, there was one lady at reception when I came in. I’ve not been spoken to so rudely and looked at so disgustingly by someone probably more than double my age in a long time. Customer service is a job that requires a basic skill. Being nice. If you can’t even do that then I’m not sure why you’d get a job in this profession. I would understand if I had said something to her that was rude but not a word came out my mouth before she decided to be rude to me. I had driven all the way from Manchester for this 8am appointment and to be greeted so rudely completely ruined my day. I’ve been going here all my life, 20 years, I think the dentists and the dental nurses are lovely, however the receptionists not so much.

Positive experience: The staff are all lovely and professional, however if you try to phone them to make an appointment the phone rings on and on. I have phoned today (not for the first time) and hung on until I was cut off - 4 times, each time for 15 minutes. This is regular and lets the surgery down sadly. This does need addressing, the receptionists aren't the only workers in Blackpool, many of us are working and trying to get connected. Please introduce a system where the phone gets answered.

Negative experience: Dreadful place. Appointment cancelled twice because people who are not patients scream at the receptionist and jump the que.

Negative experience: I attended for an extraction with a young male dentist (name witheld). I explained that I was ultra nervous of dentists. After an hour and four attempts to remove the tooth I was advised that I had an infection so had to rearrange after a course of antibiotics. My tooth was left loose and intrusive for a month. I recently needed a check up and requested a different dentist, I was informed that there was no one else and I was being removed from the practice. I feel let down by this practice, and would not recommend it to anyone. I have been left with the impression that as spaces for NHS dentists are scarce that they feel they don't care about patients as individuals, but merely spaces which can be easily filled.

Fantastic experience: I have been with this surgery for 55 years since 1969 when we moved to Blackpool from Manchester. I can remember in the early years the surgery was on Dickson road on the 2nd floor. A mr/Doctor Mclelen was my dentist back then he’s long since retired now. All the years I have had excellent dental care. I had mr/Doctor Stirrup when it was the original surgery on king street and then recently I have received excellent dental care from mr/Doctor Adam Parkinson. The new surgery is excellent with good disability access. I actually used to drink in the building in the 80s/90s when it was the Hop Inn. A1 plus for patient care and building accessibility

Fantastic experience: A nice clean and friendly dentists. All staff are professional and really helpful. My dentist is William (Will). He's one of the best dentists I've ever had. Explains everything about your treatment and is very knowledgeable when you ask him questions. Treats you with respect and courtesy, puts you at ease. I would definitely recommend this dental practice if you want/need any work on your teeth. What a real gentleman William (Will) is. I actually look forward to going to the dentists now, unlike when I was younger. Go here and you won't regret it whatsoever... Update Sept 2024: Just had another appointment with Will and spot on as always. I cannot recommend this place enough for all your oral hygiene needs. Other dental practices could learn a great deal from this practice...

Been here and put me at ease had my teeth out at oral one because had xray and said i want all out So had top out on 6th/8/24 then 13th/8/24 had bottoms ones out got dentures and am so happy no it going to take time to get used to them. But hopefully can get used to them so thank you so much.

I have total confidence with his care & attention so when I asked his advice about having an implant, which is not offered through the NHS, he suggested I see Mr Cornelius Peethala who also works at the surgery. The treatment has taken place over many months but is now completed & I am delighted with the result, the teeth look & feel totally natural, thank you very much!

Fantastic experience: My Dentist (Tom) & his colleague (sorry I don't know your name) have always made me feel comfy as I'm not a fan of the needle. Had two crowns fitted with no discomfort or pain. Thank you so much you guys

Negative experience: Me and my daughter (disabled) have just been kicked off the list. This is because I cancelled one appointment due to my daughter being in a&e and the other I couldn't attend because they had tried to tell the NHS that I wasn't entitled to NHS treatment (I am) they don't remove teeth themselves and refer you to oral surgery. My daughter is 10 and has mostly adult teeth however the dentist didn't seem to have a clue and insisted they were baby teeth and tried to perform an x-ray. The x-ray couldn't be performed because the room was not accessible for a wheelchair however I did manage to lift her on to their chair. I told them not to move the chair up or down whilst she was on it, that request was completely ignored and my daughter threw herself off the chair which could have ended up with a serious injury because of having partial collapsed hips.

Fantastic experience: Great service.I recently had some dental work carried out by Mr Jepson and I cannot praise the service to highly from checking in at reception to the completion of the service.

As an older nervous person who had not had very pleasant experience in the past with previous dentists, Adam put me at ease and reassured me every step of the way and explained what exactly was happening with my treatment. Also the nurse Danielle could see how nervous I was and did everything to make me feel comfortable and showed so much empathy. My new crowns look amazing, I’ve never smiled so much! Fantastic experience: I joined this practice last year after my father retired from dentistry. I had tried other dental surgeries and hadn’t found one I quite liked. When I attended King Street last year for emergency treatment, I knew that it was a great surgery with really good dentists and I was fortunate to be able to get on a new dentists list. I have been a couple of times with my children too and the dentist, Will is really good. I totally trust him and think he is very knowledgeable, professional and capable. I am so pleased I have found a really good dentist again!!

Negative experience: Having joined the dental surgery pre Covid everything was fine but as soon as Covid hit as per guidelines had to isolate, after all the Covid situation went to make an appointment for the dentist was told not longer on books and had been removed, at no time during the situation was I notified of them removing myself and my family and the attitude of the staff is much to be desired as if they could not be bothered with patients

Negative experience: Absolute joke this place , rang for an appointment this morning to be told I'm not entitled to 1 because I missed an appointment in December to which the snotty woman said you was sent a reminder in June, is she serious? I have an autistic son who has also been removed because he missed his on the same day , how on earth do they expect you to remember from the reminder 7 months earlier?? A reminder should be a day or 2 before, this place needs to be shut down if that's how they treat people .

Positive experience: Now charging £75 for a checkup and keeping balance on file. Didn't feel it was appropriate. Dental nurse seemed nice enough though

Fantastic experience: Visited Adam P today, he managed to fit me in at very short notice for a tooth extraction. Initially I was quite worried about the procedure, but Adam took the time to explain everything thoroughly and the extraction itself was painless and quick. Would highly recommend King St dental surgery to anyone.

Negative experience: Tried to calling to book an appointment t be told my registration is cancelled as I haven’t needed any treatment and I missed a check up. Came in to register and try and get a check up to be told no sorry you’re not allowed an appointment even after registering I’m now back on waiting list. I was spoken to as if I were slow I left very upset and no closer to an appointment the reception staff are quite rude and we’re quick to dispute if I had called the practice at all I feel I’ve been treated like a bag of rubbish I just need a check up

Fantastic experience: Needed an emergency dental appointment whilst on holiday in Blackpool and got an appointment. From the first phone call with the surgery to seeing the actual dentist I found everyone to be kind and caring. I was treated promptly with a temporary filling and given good aftercare advice too.

Positive experience: Update: Downgrading to 4 stars as I got referred to the hygienist for the 2nd time and both sessions lasted barely 15 minutes. The sessions felt very rushed and you feel like you're being put under a lot of pressure. Dental assistant on 2nd visit was very friendly. If a session is to be that rushed, I should be given the option to get my teeth cleaned elsewhere where it's not as rushed (at an additional expense). Telling a patient "these sessions are hard as you make them" whilst not understanding the fundamental life reasons etc that contributed to the need for a visit is not appreciated. Overall dentist service has improved dramatically after leaving their old building. I've been able to get a emergency appointment recently when I've needed one too for a filling falling out, along with other appointments in past due to infections - which my negligence contributed to. Adam Parkinson is a great and patient dentist, although I must say I wrongly had my doubts when I first saw him in 2019 - given he was a younger dentist. He has done a trickier gum-line filling for me in the past which seems to be going strong I've also recently had a crown fitted to one tooth and the procedure went very smoothly, with the crown seemingly having been fitted perfectly so far.

Fantastic experience: I’m 45 and have not had a dentist in over 10 years because of my dental phobia. I managed to get on Sophie’s books and she is amazing. Finally starting to get over my fears, she is incredibly supportive and understanding. I would highly recommend her. IF she has any spaces left, get in there! Craig Newman

Fantastic experience: Absolutely 1st class. First visited after chemotherapy ruined my teeth. Never felt at such ease in a dental surgery. Mr Reid is fabulous.
