Recently I was quickly able to get an emergency appointment and am happy with the outcome. My dentist always explains exactly what is going to happen and all the alternative treatments if there are any. He is kind and gentle.

Fantastic experience: I have been with the practise for many years now and from the moment you walk in you always feel at ease as you are greeted by the friendly reception team with a warm smile and welcome. The reception/waiting area is always clean and tidy with comfortable chairs to sit in. The Dentistry team are first class and will always do a thorough examination before explaining the best treatment plan for you before commencing. Agnieszka is my dentist and she is a very kind happy and caring lady who will always do a full examination before explaining what she feels is the right treatment for me. She is a very thorough professional dentist. All in all a first class service offered by a very kind, courteous, and caring team who are a credit to the practise.

Fantastic experience: Recently had an appointment at Walkers and associates dental practice, and cannot sing their praises enough. From the nice warm welcome I received by the front staff, to the nice personal touch by my dentist Dr Shyam Pattni coming to the front of house to welcome me in. During my appointment, the care I received was seamless. Dr Shyam Pattni and his amazing dental assistant Paulina couldn’t have been better in making me feel at ease with regards to my procedure, with Dr Pattni kindly taking the time to explain the steps, and checking with me to make sure I understand before proceeding. Moreover, throughout both Dr Pattni and Paulina were making sure I was feeling okay and were always prioritising my comfortability. In the end I couldn’t be happier with my results, with all my plaque completely gone, and with great advice to go home with as per Dr Pattni. All in all it was a pleasure being under the care of such great clinicians, and although I wouldn’t want to be in a dental chair anytime soon, being with Dr Pattni and Paulina would help me forget all about any worries I had coming in.

Fantastic experience: I’d love to highly recommend this dental practice. The staff are all wonderful, my Mum is 80 years old has dementia, and has mobility issues, so we had an extremely stressful journey , and were unfortunately late for our appointment , the lovely reception staff were very gracious and reassured us that it was no problem. Mum needed three fillings and our dentist and his assistant were absolutely wonderful, very gentle, kind, attentive to her comfort throughout the procedures, it was really a very positive and stress free experience for my Mum. Thank you so much to you all for your excellent service. X

Fantastic experience: Prior to moving, I’d used Walker & Associates for 22years which included my children attending this practice. I have always received excellent attention and dental care. After I moved away from the area a few years ago, I signed up with another dental practice nearer to me. Sadly, I’d experienced some less than satisfactory dental treatment and so made the decision, even though the journey takes me one and a half hours, to go back to Walker and associates. I knew I’d be in better hands. The whole experience with them is a lovely one every time I go there!

Positive experience: I was happy with my treatment but would have liked an emergency appointment sooner. The statement, "Did I enjoy my visit" is inappropriate for dental treatment!

Negative experience: My appointment started 10 minutes late even though there were no other patients anywhere in the building and the dentist was in the room. The place was deserted. What a shame you don't still have NHS patience to give the staff something to do. The checkup lasted no more than 5 minutes and I was charged £49. I had my car MoT'd recently by a highly trained mechanic; it took 45 minutes of most thorough investigation and only cost £30. Something is not quite right here!

Negative experience: I recently moved to Faringdon and registered with this practice. Had initial check up which was Ok and the dentist said my teeth were fine and I should come back for another check up in six months. The dentist did also say I should see the hygienist. I did that and the hygienist spent most of the appointment examining my teeth, which the dentist had already done, going through the x-rays with me, which the dentist had already done, explaining how to use an electric toothbrush, which I had been doing for the past 15 years, before telling me that my teeth were in such poor condition that I needed a series of visits to her which would total £340 in fees. My wife visited the same dentist the following week and had her check up. Again the dentist said her teeth were fine and made no mention of her needing to visit the hygienist, yet a few days later she got a cold call at home from someone at the practice saying that the dentist had recommended she visit the hygienist and inviting her to make an appointment, which she refused to do. So, in both cases we were left with the impression that we were not getting an objective assessment of our dental needs as the practice seemed to be more concerned with pushing its ancillary services. We will be looking to move elsewhere for future dental care.

Fantastic experience: Terrified of the dentist but I feel impelled to write a review from my experience there today. The staff on the front desk are always polite and friendly and make you feel at ease when you arrive. Pedro was so patient with me and could see that I was really quite agitated but talked me through each step of what he was doing. The injections were not as bad as I remember from about 10 years ago either. And finally the fillings are brilliant. Thank you, we don’t all say it often enough. Going back for another filling soon so my terror level will probably be lower now. Well done guys, you do a great job there!
