Leeds Urgent Dental Centre: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Amazing dentist was done in a few minutes so gentle and was so lovely I would recommend this dentist to anyone
Negative experience: Got an appointment here in aug, went in with intense pain and asked to remove a tooth. Got fobbed off by them. They told me they didn't have the right tools to remove my extraction n they referred me. Which by the way there's a 3 year waiting list for. I went to a private dentist today as the pain has become unbearable and guess what He removed it without any issues. This place is a scam. They just want your money.
Negative experience: Came here after 3 days of pain around my wisdom tooth, couldn't get an appointment in my own dentist so had to come here, I was called into the room, the women shined a torch in my mouth said I had an infection and kicked me back out again, I was in the room for less than 2 minutes, just seemed a rush job and no proper assessment was given, no reason to why I had an infection or any help coping etc... Wasn't happy having to travel over 20miles to be 'assesed' in such a rushed and dismissive manor.
Fantastic experience: Come here 6 days apart seen a dentist lady called saadia what a brilliant dentist she made me feel so comfortable and completly calm I suffer really bad fear from the dentist my own fear no dentist has caused me to have that and saadia made me so Calm and relaxed didn’t pressure me into anything I didn’t want doing or touching in my mouth if I raised my hand she stopped immediately just a lovely women and showed so much compassion for her job and myself she even recommend me a dentist I can use as an nhs patient witch she didn’t have to thank you again x
Negative experience: Avoid, avoid, avoid! I was sent here after calling 111 about my dental pain and as soon as I was in the clinical room with the dentist Sadiyah I felt uncomfortable. She had a really dismissive attitude, and whenever I asked her advice/opinion for the pain I had been experiencing, I was told she can’t give me any advice… absolutely ridiculous - why do you think I’ve came to the dentist then? All she could do was present me with two ultimatums: have the tooth extracted or the nerve removed. However if I chose to have the nerve removed she said she could only provide half of the procedure!!! Like what?? I then would have to find a dentist which is nearly impossible currently, so I opted to get the tooth extracted just to relieve my pain. What has made me really upset and annoyed is I’m now a week after the extraction, and I’m in more pain than I was prior and I will now have to pay to get a dental implant privately, as the tooth removed is my front molar essential for chewing and quality of life. Perhaps if I was warned of the value or potential to save my tooth, I wouldn’t have felt pressured to get it removed. Lastly it seems I’m not the only one having issues with this practice. There needs to be a serious investigation in to how things are run.
Negative experience: After several days of severe, unbearable dental pain, I was referred to this practice via NHS 111. Unfortunately, the appointment was deeply disappointing. There was no thorough clinical assessment, no X-rays taken, and no meaningful examination or intervention. The consultation felt cursory and unproductive, and I left in more pain than when I arrived. Given the level of pain described and the reason for referral, I expected a proper clinical evaluation and appropriate EMERGENCY treatment TO STOP PAIN. Regrettably, this did not occur, raising serious concerns about the quality of care provided and the effective use of NHS resources. I was told to see my own dentist. What the point of seeing emergency dentis, for just to be told to see myown dentist.
Fantastic experience: I arrived today for my appointment and was greeted by the receptionist who handed me the forms to complete. I was called in shortly after and was attended to by Saadia the dental nurse and her assistant. Their communication and customer service were exceptional from start to finish which put me at ease and alleviated any concerns I had. I would highly recommend their practice. Thank you again. Alexander
Negative experience: Took my boyfriend here today due to severe toothache…for many days & referred by 111. It took almost a hour to get there. it was obvious the tooth needed extraction. He Is very scared of the dentist but really needed it to be out. He was given the option of a route canal but they would only be able to do half the job and he would need the rest doing else where. Or if he wanted an extraction it’s a likely possibility it would brake and if so they didn’t have the correct tools to get any broken bits out! so probably be best to be referred. I was listening on the other side of the door & I knew all the negative possibilities would put him off….i understand you have to be told of possible outcomes but the way it was explained/spoken about… it was as if that lady didn’t want to do any of the procedures. Unfortunately he was then too scared so opted for a referral. I did go into the room mid way because I wasn’t happy with what I was hearing & how he was put off. He was given antibiotics and now awaiting a referral. Who would expect to go to a dentist and be told they can only do half a job or it’s very likely it’s going to go wrong but if so they can’t put it right!?
Fantastic experience: Amazing experience. Saadia and the lady with her were amazing. I had my wisdom tooth removed.
Fantastic experience: I had a great pain free emergency dentist appointment, friendly dentist, amazing treatment and short waiting time, open late too
Fantastic experience: After being referred here by 111, I was dreading my appointment because some of the reviews are shocking I however can.hand on heart say I cannot fault the service in any way. I arrived slightly earlier than my appointment time and was met by a friendly man called Leon on Reception. A friendly smile goes a long way and Leon provided that. After filling in some forms I was called into the treatment room. The female dentist Fiona introduced herself and went through my medical history and allergies while her assistant put the details into the computer. Both Fiona and her assistant were friendly, professional and understanding. After explaining why I was there Fiona had a quick look and was more than happy to remove my troublesome wisdom tooth. She explained it wasn't rotten but my gums had receeded which allows bacteria in and could explain the excruciating pain I was in. I was given 2 injections the first I never even felt it. The second was a bit stingy but nothing major. Less than 5 mins later the tooth was out, minimal bleeding,.zero pain, and I was in and out before my actual appointment time. Thank you Leon, Fiona and your assistant, you are all a credit to your profession.
Fantastic experience: IGNORE THE BAD REVIEWS I had a 111 emergency appointment today to look at my broken wisdom tooth, I’ve been terrified waiting for the appointment but once I arrived the friendly receptionist put me at ease. I didn’t have to wait long at all before I was seen by the dentist and her assistant, both were super friendly and made me feel so much better. She looked and my tooth and said it would need a filling but I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I couldn’t recommend them more highly, especially if you have a lot of anxiety surrounding the dentist.
Negative experience: Referred by 111 Told to arrive for 7.45 Sunday morning. Practice didn't open until 8. The dentist Sadia walked in 15 minutes late - 8:15. Looked at tooth and said cant remove as too close to sinus. Didnt offer filling for other tooth. Gave a 6 week referral. Paid £30. Felt like she wanted rid so she could make her coffee and tend to her children who came into the practice with her and were making a racket upstairs. Went back a week later to request a filling, wanted another £30 before thet could help. Went elsewhere another dentist has removed with ease no issues with sinuses.
Fantastic experience: Went for an emergency appointment through 111 today. Iv been having extremely bad pain for the last two months and could no longer cope. I knew it was either going to be root canal or tooth extraction. I'm absolutely terrified of the dentist, the dentist was so reassuring took so much time making sure I was ok, as I was crying and terrified. He explained everything that was going to happen during the tooth extraction. Both the dentist and dental nurse were absolutely incredible, I couldn't of asked for better in my time of desperation. They are both a credit to the dental industry. Honestly can't thank them enough.
Fantastic experience: Ignore the negative reviews! Was referred via 111 today due to severe toothache and not being registered with a dentist.I also have an extreme phobia so was having panic attacks before I even got through the door. The receptionist was amazing, comforting and understanding and did his best to help me remain calm and help me navigate the paperwork. Graham the dentist and his assistant are the most amazing humans to walk the earth. I had teeth unexpectedly extracted and Graham was honest with me and explained every single thing that was happening, guiding me and making sure I was fully numb, which is a big part of my phobia (being able to feel the pain) I could not have asked for a kinder, more understanding team to look after me on one of the hardest experiences of my life and I am beyond grateful I was blessed with this appointment today regardless of whether my teeth had to go. Thank you so much. I am very grateful ☺️
Negative experience: Referred by 111 and travelled around 35 minutes away for the appointment. Paid almost £30 and the only thing that they did was write a prescription for antibiotics but did not stamped. Came back home and took it to the pharmacy, pharmacy did not accept the prescription as needed to be stamped. Rang the dental practice and they were completely useless, asked me to come back just for the stamp. The lady on the phone kept saying that there isn't anything that she could do, not ready to accept that it was their fault. Really rude and not compassion for patients. Just running business for money and no value of people.
Negative experience: 0wn NHS dentist did filling pain getting worse. Had to wait 1 week to go back to NHS dentist, dentist who did filling out of country for another 2 weeks. Told to come back 2 weeks. Another week severe pain seen 111 emergency NHS dentist Sunday. Told complex route canal needed, to go private. To leave a patent in pain for this long is a lack of care, Appalling If NHS dentist unfit to practice then they should be struck off GDC
Fantastic experience: Had a dental issue, was referred here by 111. Even though it was a Sunday, the staff were so friendly and understanding, and they were so efficient! Now my dental problem has been sorted and I feel much better for it :)
Fantastic experience: I was dreading my emergency appointment due to the reviews. What an incredible service this is. I interacted with the receptionist, the dental nurse, and a female dentist and all three were absolutely wonderful. I cannot imagine working here. A lot of people are in a lot of pain, and just in my short time in the building, people behaved poorly. They must endure a lot of abuse and I don’t envy them one bit. And I’m incredibly grateful they are all there, working hard day after day, helping people. A lot of whom are vulnerable and afraid. Thank you for all who are involved in helping people.
Positive experience: Staff very polite. Managed to get an emergency appointment after 16 hours with 111. Poked 3 teeth said did I feel it said no so told me to take antibiotics doctors gave me. 2 days later I’m still in agony and having to pay for a dentist now.
Negative experience: My partner went this dentist today in extreme pain with tooth ache and he was told to go home a take pillerkiller, the Asian dentist was demissive and unhelp, She advise he will need oral surgery, no confirmed follow on treatment and sent home In pain. He had to call 111 again to get another appointment tomorrow with a different dental practice in pontefract. Fingers crossed they can help. He is still in agony with no follow on treatment or help.
Negative experience: Went in this afternoon with wisdom tooth pain, i was in agony and in immense pain, i couldnt even open my mouth properly and culdnt even speak. I was hopeing that i would be checked throughly and professionaly but as soon as i went in to be checked dr ‘sadia’ she ddnt even say hello, just bout said lie down and open ur mouth, then finished off by saying u need anti biotics. The speed it was done it felt she was in such a hurry and did not care at all. She is very ill mannered/disrespectful has no emotion for the patients that are in pain. I am extremely disappointed with my experience. Dr. Sadia spoke in a dismissive and condescending tone throughout the appointment, as if she couldn’t be bothered. I felt rushed, unheard, and uncomfortable. I expect basic respect and professionalism—neither of which were shown. Would not recommend at all!!!!! She was a very horrible women, hope she gets such a bad wisdom tooth pain in her life then she will know what pain is. She needs to be sacked from that practice and they need to appoint a more better human being that actuali cares.
Negative experience: Very poor experience. Granted we never got seen. They have a 5 minute late policy and we were 8 minutes late. However, the M62 had an accident, on the news, no empathy, just 'policy'. We were sent away with a daughter and broken tooth. Thanks guys
Positive experience: The dentist that did the extraction was very kind and understanding. However, the dental nurse when I was getting the needle in mouth was very insensitive because i screamed (I have dental anxiety) (I also understand it could scare other patients and the dentist). All I would say is don’t be in a position of care if you are insensitive and lack empathy. It’s irresponsible and can cause more harm than good.
Negative experience: Very disappointing experience. My friend visited today, and the woman was very patronising and rude to her and did not even offer the service she paid for. Essentially, this lady shamed my friend for the state of her teeth, which is not very professional behaviour.
Negative experience: This is the worst practice ever. Went here today and dentist Sadiyah was extremely rude. She knew I was very nervous but talked to me in a very patronising way and tried to shame me for wanting a tooth extraction because i’m young - it was causing me a lot of pain. She was very unprofessional and simply did not want to do her job.
Negative experience: Today I attended this dentist as my gums had been aching for the past few days. I wasn’t impressed the whole atmosphere was drab unprofessional and looked unclean. I wasn’t impressed called to see a mature Asian woman dentist who barely examined me and dismissed my pain and told me to see a hygienist. I left very unhappy and disappointed by this so called emergency surgery. The same day I attended a local dentist saw the hygienist who informed me I had an infection in the painful area. Leeds urgent dental care let me down I will never go there again. Save yourself the mediocre service they provide.
Negative experience: This is the worst practice I ever been to I went to have my tooth removed and the doctor was really rude she didn’t care if I was ok it’s like she was in a hurry if I could give them ZERO I was giving them a ZERO really rude
Fantastic experience: Such a welcoming team never felt so at ease seeing a dentist it's home from home.would definitely recommend a visit.
Negative experience: Wouldn't even give 1 star. Avoid at all costs! Waste of time and money. Less than 5 mins of an appointment, to be told they can't remove my wisdom tooth despite intense pain and swelling around tooth. No referral as NHS patient either. Do not recommend at all !
Fantastic experience: Ive read the bad reviews !!!. Don't be put off by certain whingers. Happy, talkative receptionist. The lady dentist was polite, very professional & put me at ease straight away. Just about everyone that goes there is suffering with pain, so it's understandable that they won't be happy. keep on smiling.
Fantastic experience: The dentist we saw was patient, calming and totally understood the needs of my autistic grandson when he needed a tooth extraction. She realised that it was totally his decision on when and what needed to be done. She suggested we booked a second appointment following an initial assessment . We saw her on the following day and she made him comfortable which enabled the extraction to be carried out in an appropriate manner. She even made him smile and laugh during the process.
Negative experience: They are not expected as one day my wife had a strong toothache we came to this dentist thy tried to take out his tooth they couldn’t and made her tooth cracked and broken unfortunately. The NHS system has many problems specially the dental procedures I am so sorry that I write this but the truth that saw.
Fantastic experience: I got an emergency appointment here by 111, my tooth was very infected to the point that my cheek was triple the size. After being passed from pillar to post for 6 days, feeling mentally, emotionally and physically exhausted I saw a lady dentist (I didn't get a name) who was straight with me told me what I need, what to do next and prescribed me the antibiotics that I should have been given much earlier. Although she couldn't carry out the procedure due to swelling, I just wanted to say thank you for putting me at even the tiniest bit of ease at one of my worst moments. The receptionist was lovely too ☺️
Fantastic experience: I am absolutely petrified of the dentist and needles, I was hyperventilating, shaking and crying. An absolutely lovely lady came out of the room I was to go into and saw the state I was in, she got me some water and took me outside for air to cool down as I'd gotten very warm and explained to me the process I should go through to get the rest of my dental work done where I could either be sedated or put to sleep. After this I went back into the waiting room a bit more calmer than I was although still shaking. When it was my turn to be seen I was called in by the male doing the dental extraction on my broken back tooth, I was asked how I am with dental work and had explained I am that scared I have previously pulled out two of my own teeth at home. They (lady who had spoken to me previously and male doing the work on the tooth) spoke very calmly and took it at a pace I could deal with, the amazing lady held my hands as I was crying, after the injections were done the work then started after a few minutes. From start to finish I think only took about 20 minutes or so in total. I thanked them both then crying still as I am so appreciative of their help, time taken to deal with my situation and care whilst doing said work. I felt completely at ease and much more calm as the work was being done. I had a small amount of pain was given another injection and felt absolutely nothing. My lips and mouth have not been left sore to due to aggressive treatment as they took every bit of care not to cause any pain to myself at all. Thankyou again!!!!
Fantastic experience: What amazing staff I was so scared but they made me feel so much better had a tooth pulled out and they was fantastic hardly any pain
Negative experience: Avoid like the plague went today for a tooth extraction paid £30 to be in there less than 2minutes for a xray an to be told I need to see a specialist an sent me.on my way absolutely useless I would avoid this place like the plague AVOID AVOID AVOID
Negative experience: Extremely rude staff. Bodge job filling done. Disgusting service.
Negative experience: I would NOT recommend this place to no one at all!! Just don’t bother I came here Sunday in absolute agony with my teeth I was seen by a lady dark hair and glasses, the most unprofessional rude person I’ve ever met! Trying to gaslight me into thinking I’m the problem there’s nothing wrong and maybe I’ve got an cold/ ear infection when I clearly had a cracked tooth/decay she told me I should pop along to my own dentist because she clearly didn’t care! I walked out in tears JUST DONT BOTHER!! Now I’m left in so much pain
Negative experience: I had my tooth pulled out. The women was nice but when she had pulled my tooth out she made me walk out the door straight away No time to sit down so I was still feeling shaky & dizzy when I got outside Also I felt like I was choking on my saliva and she didn’t stop. It’s shocking I wouldn’t go there again.
Fantastic experience: Very fast and professional service, in and out with an hour.
Fantastic experience: Visited over a busy bank holiday. The Dentist Deena was super professional, friendly and reassuring, experienced one of the most easiest and quickest tooth extractions, definitly helped my fear of dentists. Receptionist and assistant was lovely and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. Would highly recommend!
Fantastic experience: I was seen by Sadia she was lovely and made me feel at ease. Xray and tooth extraction under 5 minutes. Would highly recommend.
Negative experience: Visited this clinic on the 27/04/2025 the dental nurses didn’t behave in a welcoming manner nor did they show any ounce of consideration and looked genuinely moody my mum was told she could have her teeth removed and that it would involve an injection that would numb the area around the tooth that is causing her pain she was nervous about it. My mum is close to 70 years old she is diabetic and is quite an anxious person in general. Instead of comforting her about it or trying to be flexible or at the very least provide an alternative she was given a yes or no option in the end she was told to come back at another date once her mind has been made up. I was also asked to fill out a form jotting down her medications or any other allergies she may have which I didn’t understand as you would think they have all this information already on their systems which they do but they needed me to fill out the form “anyway” what a complete waste of time. To top it all off once the appointment was over the dental nurses gleefully walked out the room and said to their colleague the receptionist “that’s a wrap!” implying that she is simply just another number that is now out of the way for them right in front of us which I found quite rude and disrespectful. There’s a time and a place to behave in that way or to say something of that nature and that time definitely wasn’t it. I am absolutely appalled and disgusted at the lack of empathy and consideration shown by health care professionals these days.
Negative experience: If I could give zero star.. Is anyone even trying to make this practice a little better? After this visit a read reviews and there is lots people complaining about one of the lady working there. I got emergency appointment for my little boy because he is in pain and still I didn't manage help for him. The lady who was see him wasn't so nice. She was talking to me like to idiot. Zero patience for those little boy. She just quickly explain to me that he can't move on chair otherwise there is possibility that she can hurt him with needle or she can even can hurt herself. My boy was more in panic than scared of this needle.. finally he refused to get help and I was trying to ask this lady how can I help him I was hoping to get referral to hospital but instead she give me another list to dentist and she said I can go privately if nothing will work.. I don't know her name but she was working I think in last room on the left corner. Horrible experience.
Fantastic experience: I had an emergency appointment here on Thursday, read all the reviews and wasn't going to attend, however curiosity got the better of me and I wanted to see for myself how bad it really was, I would like to say the reception, the dentist and her assistant were all lovely with me, I went in got sorted came out.
Fantastic experience: Really friendly staff, well informed and accommodating of me having my kids with me. Would happily recommend.
Negative experience: AVOID HERE ALL THE COST. There is 3 reason why •My filling came out and I brought it to the dentist. But the dentist said it’s actual teeth. He couldn’t even recognize if it’s filling or peace of actual teeth. • Then he drilled the hole and made the hole even bigger. I went back to my country to a different dentist to have second opinion. The second doctor said the Leeds Urgent Dental Center dentist made the teeth wall unnecessarily thin, which is bad. Because it made the teeth more fragile. This will bring further problems in the future potentially. Due to his incompetence, I now have permanent damage on my teeth. I have live extremely careful to not hurt my nerve. Second dentist suggested me to not use the damaged side.
Fantastic experience: Fiona was wonderful and immediately put me at ease, identifying the issue quickly and referring me for the appropriate treatment. Special shout out to the receptionist too who was really friendly. Everyone also made an effort with my little girl who had to come with me.
Negative experience: The receptionist was sweet and listened to us but the dentist who was attending my grandad was hostile and wanted to get him out asap, my grandad is scared of injections, yet she was like open ur mouth and one he did she was being in his face saying u can close ur mouth now, he doesn’t speak English so he had to listen twice to understand but she didn’t care even tho she was Asian too and once it was done he didn’t realise and she was like u can shut ur mouth it’s done in a rude way. I would not recommend this dentist to anyone!!!!!
Fantastic experience: Had a tooth extraction today I was absolutely petrified through the last experience I had here but just want to say to graham and his assistant your amazing thank you so much.
Negative experience: Absolutely rubbish, rang 111 for an emergency appointment as I was in agony with my tooth, I was sent here and seen by a lady (unsure of her name) who was no help at all, told me she couldn’t extract my tooth and had to refer me to another place for it to be done, which now I am having to wait for another appointment while still being in pain and being ££ down aswell! All seemed very rushed as I wasn’t even in the appointment room for longer that 3 minutes, she seemed more bothered about her food that she had ordered and that had just arrived as I got there!
Negative experience: I attended emergency appointment on Leeds dental night clinic, I was extremely disappointed and frustrated with the dentist’s behavior. She was incredibly rude and unhelpful throughout the appointment. Every time I asked a question, she was criticising and patronising me, almost mocking everything I said. I understand I had many questions, but deciding to extract a tooth is a significant decision for me, and I needed to fully understand my options, the risks involved, and alternatives like dental implants. Instead of offering support or clarity, she seemed annoyed and irritated by my concerns, making me feel belittled for simply wanting to make an informed decision. Her attitude was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I don’t know her name but she Is an Asian woman if that helps to identify her and my appointment was at 14.40hrs on Monday 13th January 2025 at Night dental clinic Leeds. Additionally, it’s a total waste of time as I still need it to be referred somewhere else and She did not even want to discuss any temporary Option to relieve the pain until then. Absolutely disgusting.
Fantastic experience: After talking with 111 after 3 previous emergency appointments regarding wisdom tooth paid , this was the only dentist available ( coming from hull to Leeds) ( 1st of jan) I took the booking as had been in non stop pain for 5 weeks and previous dentist has only either given me antibiotics or told me to wait for the teeth to grow. Was greated by friendly receptionist and dentist who actually listened to my issues and upon dentist looking evaluated my wisdom tooth needed removing ( could only remove 1 in the appointment) Both the dentist and college was really friendly which put me at ease as it’s not easy for me to go and see a dentist. Within 20 minutes had been seen to , x-ray and tooth removed! Now has been nearly a week and most definitely an improvement with currently no pain! Thankyou for fitting me in and hopefully I do not have to return
Fantastic experience: Thank you! Had a tooth removed a week ago but was still having a lot of pain. The man on reception was really polite and chatty. The dentist was very good, quick in diagnosing the issue and providing treatment, pain free more or less instantly!
Negative experience: Waited for 1 hour to be seen. All the other people were called ahead of me. A piece of my tooth felt off, the dentist said she could not see anything. The appointment lasted literally 5 minutes. Nothing was done and I was told nothing could be done, not even using some filling to cover the defect since that is not an "emergency procedure". I discussed the issue with the management team who pretended nothing happened and did not respond to my complaint. I will not get back for sure.
Negative experience: If I could give less I would! Came here in pain on Sunday! Biggest waste of my time. I was seen over an hour past my appointment. I ended up been seen near lunch so they just wanted rid of me and made that extremely clear! The dentist was disgustingly rude and the nurse not much better. Told me there was nothing wrong with my tooth why am I even there. I said I have a dentist but I’m in that much pain I needed to come! Even looking in my mouth I was nearly in tears but she still said there was nothing wrong! Cut to getting into my dentist I have an infection that has spread I’m on antibiotics and I need a route canal. Not bad for nothing wrong with my tooth! Honestly I would never recommend this place!
Negative experience: Just wasted my time. I had appointment on Sunday, I've been almost there where some woman called and cancel my appointment. And she called me later to arrange my appointment on Monday, so I didn't go to work. The dentist just did x-ray and say that they don't pull a teeth. And the dentist said to take paracetamol for my pain.
Positive experience: I was thinking of cancelling our appointment after I read the reviews but glad I haven't. The doctor who helped us was so nice (local British, white haired). He explained us the situation, gave us options and let us chose, then gently took care of the infection temporarily at least until we go to a more equipped dentist. One star less is because the facility does not have enough devices & equipment, they can only help temporarily, do cleaning, filling and extractions. In most cases you will need to go to somewhere else as well.
Fantastic experience: Fiona was friendly and efficient. Referred me elsewhere for extraction due to requiring surgical removal. Parked right outside the door.
Negative experience: If you have been referred to here by NHS 111, you can consider to cancel the appointment since it’s just wasting your time. I have an insane pain on my wisdom tooth and crazy swelling gums for a few days. The doctor took just 2 second to check my tooth and said ok I’ll give you prescription take it to any pharmacy. I ask her can I get a x-ray check at least knowing what the problem is and she said no. I don’t know what’s the meaning of coming here honestly.
Negative experience: Had a tooth pulled over 5 week ago now . Was abit hard for the dentist to get out due to the roots hooking outwards, once it came out I had another xray and apparently there was a small bit of root left in but I was told it was safe to leave in under a certain size etc . Now I've never in my life been in so much pain from anything compared to this , nothing worked for the pain moth was swollen for weeks leaking puss etc . I maybe should of gone bk but tbh I was in that much pain I couldn't bare the thought of going bk . Everyone I spoken to have told me that nothing should of been left in and the reason for the infections was due to the root left in the socket . Anyway last night I could feel something really sharp on the gum with my tounge and after playing about with it it came out and was like instant relief. Woke up this morning face swollen again feeling like a iron on my cheek . And I could feel something really sharp this time . Looked in the mirror and this huge peace of bone or root was sticking out . Its out now and the pain instantly when away but I'm sure this shouldn't of been left in my mouth . I would appreciate someone getting in touch with me regarding this please. Well still waiting for response from someone. I can assure you my mouth has never been the same since this tooth extraction.
Negative experience: Absolutely useless says I needed a tooth extraction but didn't have the means and ways to do it. Just really amateur and pathetic. Don't waste your time.
Negative experience: Absolute waste of time and money, been twice for the same broken tooth, both times unable to do anything, no filling, no removal, not even able to send me away with any pain relief. Don't bother using this 111 service. Waste of NHS service
Negative experience: Got reffered by NHS 111, this was a disgusting experience as soon as i walked in felt like they just wanted to get rid of me. I told the lady dentist i had a pain on both sides of my mouth with a straight face said i can only check one side, so she checked 3 teeth said she couldnt see anything ( i myself can see there is a little hole in my tooth from looking in the mirror ) i insisted something was there which finally made her do a xray which confirmed this. I felt like she just didnt care as she wouldnt even do a full checkup i am still in pain all these days later and all the dentist would do is refer me private to her friends for root canal treatment. Waste of time, atleast diagnose your patients properly look at all the areas that are paining not just barely look at one because you dont have time???. I will be reporting this practice
Negative experience: Paid 26.80£ just to get prescription. Dentist only spent 2 minutes and said your gum is swell we can’t do anything. I will prescribe you antibiotics once it calm down then re book an appointment through NHS111. When i asked atleast take an x-ray so you can tell how bad it is inside but she refused to do it. Worst experience ever now will have to pay again for another appointment to find out what is wrong with my teeth once the swelling is gone.
Fantastic experience: I had insane pain in a broken wisdom tooth that other NHS dental practices have refused to remove in the past due to the difficult nature of the extraction. I had been up for 48 hours in excruciating pain, and had been to A&E for strong pain relief as paracetamol and ibuprofen were not even touching the sides. The crown of the tooth was barely there, and the roots of the tooth were almost curled. The lovely dentist I saw could see how much pain I was in, and agreed to try to extract the tooth. Both the dentist and the assistant were incredible at calming me down, and helping me out when I had a wave of sickness come over me. They managed to get the tooth out relatively quickly and I had INSTANT relief. So thankful for the work I had done. Highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: Came to gey my toothpain checked, and Dr Sadia explained very clearly, and kindly the 3 options I had. She was very compassionate, and empathetic towards me, and my pain Definitely if Dr Sadia was in my home town, she'd be probably the best Dentist. Thanks Dr Sadia and urgent dental centre leeds team. MR from Hudd's
Fantastic experience: I was referred to this clinic by NHS 111 and had a great experience. Dr. Sadia was incredibly accommodating and made me feel at ease right away. She was very kind and sweet throughout the entire appointment. She took the time to thoroughly explain everything, did my X-ray with care, and referred me to a specialist for further treatment. I left the clinic feeling reassured and happy with the care I received
Fantastic experience: Hello I don't where to start Sadia she is very helpful dentist and she's lovely she has very excellent experience about her job she gave me some antibiotics and she has explained what it will be the next treatment step
Negative experience: Disgusting service from the dentist herself. She didn't give her name or no name badge. I wonder why. I am sorry but I do need to describe her so she's not confused with any other dentist at this practice. She was chubby with black hair...she was Asian may be Indian. She didn't want to give a proper answer or time to address issue with my teeth. Said to go and see my dentist. She had a very rude tone...and could see that she didn't want to spend a second with me. Disgusting individual I feel sorry for your family
Fantastic experience: Dr Sadia was very helpful and great in my girlfriend’s wisdom tooth case
Fantastic experience: Dr Sadiya was very helpful during my daughter’s wisdom tooth issue.. Felt very relaxed after talking to her.. Thank you very much Dr Sadiya
Fantastic experience: Visited today following extreme pain in my jaw. Saw the dentist Saadia who was lovely and quickly found i had decay in my wisdom tooth. She has referred me to a surgical dentist and i am pleased to be getting my issue dealt with. Keep up the great work Saadia and keep smiling :)
Fantastic experience: Just been to this dentist with my child who has special needs. My son never let's any dentist treat him and usually is put under GA, this amazing woman managed to convince my child to let her treat him and showed absolutely great empathy and care with his needs and broke down the way she would treat him and he then let her carry out the treatment. Both the dentist (Sadia) and her assistant (Kiran) are absolute diamonds and we need more of these dentist. Can't speak highly enough about our visit and gave me some good points to ask my dentist about his care and trying to save his tooth. Keep up the brilliant work even though facing such adversities.
Negative experience: These guys should be struck off by NHS , the dentist Saadia said she did not have time to complete a temporary filling. She said she will prescribe me antibiotics and to get registered to a dentist. I tried to explain that i can feel a hole in the tooth and again she said we are very busy and dont have time and said go speak to 111 if you dont like what i am telling you. Her excuse of an assistant Kiran kept saying she should know she is a dentist. I dont know how these guys are still in business reflects extremely poorly on NHS and i am going to raise this further
Negative experience: Very bad service given by Dentist Saadia Siddique. My filling had cracked and instead of filling it she said i will prescribe you antibiotics and go find a dentist. I explained i would take the antibiotics but if the filling was still open it would surely get infected again and she said its not her problem. Her assistant Kiran was even more rude than the dentist she kept shouting lisen to the dentist and speaking to me like i am a child. Honestly it was a waste of time i am taking this further as i dont belive they should be doing work for NHS 111
Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting service from the lady dentist , visited today and I was told I look like I can afford private treatment- she was arrogant and rude the whole way through the appointment with my child . I will be taking this further .
Negative experience: Not nice service not happy lady seemed t b shouting and tooting at me receptionist was good and friendly and the lady there was friendly and all. just the lady who saw me t check my teeth was a bit arrogant they need t more polite some ppl can't hear have a hearing problem it doesn't mean u can make bad face and treat them bad I didn't like there service won't go again
Negative experience: Visited this practice after a call to 111, was so relieved as I had a large swelling to my face and was in alot of pain. When booking in the staff behind the desk was fusing about something "Mahmood hasn't ordered" I thought nothing more of it. Finally got to see the dentist, Straight away I was told I need a course of Antibiotics but unfortunately they have no prescriptions to prescribe any. The Dentist and Nurse was so apologetic and it was beyond there control and did advise me to attend A&E. It finally clicked the whole clinic had no prescriptions which is ridiculous for an Emergency Dental practice. Extremely disappointed in the lack of service provided. Could have saved my time and the £26.80 charge!
Negative experience: Attended today after referral from 111 appalling service was asked to attend earlier than the original appointment was booked arrived at the agreed time to be kept waiting 45 minutes. Money taken for nothing to be told by the dentist oh you have got a hole in your tooth and gum disease go see an hygienist it's private. They didn't even address the issue why I was booked in there came away still in pain no x rays or anything taken. This is the 3rd appointment I have attended in the last month after having teeth extractions the service provided here is appalling compared to the other two dentist practices willing to take your money though for nothing
Fantastic experience: Had to make an appointment as I couldn't get into my own dentist and had a mouth/throat infection my GP refused to treat before seeing a dentist. I have had a phobia of dentists since being a child however the receptionist was very chatty and friendly and made the initial wait comfortable and less anxious. When I went in to see the dentist, she talked me through everything and was equally very friendly, caring and supportive of my needs. The negative reviews on here baffle me as I was seen promptly, on time for my appointment and treat with a ton of decency and respect. I cannot thank you enough.
Fantastic experience: I was very nervous about going to my appointment as I generally find the dentist a very stressful time. Fiona the dentist was amazing! So so lovely and really put me at ease. Her assistant was great too! Really one of my better experiences at the dentist
Negative experience: Was advised to attend this dentist by 111. From the moment we arrived they were rude, especially the dentists assistant, who was trying to over power the dentist . Wow! so degrading and arrogant, not one ounce of empathy for the situation. The dentist lady came across quite dismissive and rude to start with, she never greeted us warmly was very ignorant, but after explaining everything she became very empathetic, and tried her best to help, the dental assistant, and receptionist, should not be dealing with the public. They came across very judgemental, showed 0 customer service skills, and if I’m honest they just wanted us out. Would never recommend this place to anyone, I also reported them to PAS via the nhs, as I don’t believe, they should be allowed to accept patients via nhs. They made an extremely difficult situation worse.
Fantastic experience: My wife had a wisdom tooth removed here the dentist was so friendly and resureing took his time walked her though step by step didn't rush she was so scared to go by the time she left she was so at ease and happy about the visit thankyou so much she'd definitely go back
Negative experience: I was there yesterday, it wasn't good at all, my tooth was broken in less than ten minutes, he said it was all, he didn't even give me a mirror to look, I went home and looked, it wasn't good at all, I advise you not to go there
Fantastic experience: The dentist I saw was very clear in what he was doing and was very careful to not cause me any pain, both the dentist and dental assist were very polite.
Fantastic experience: After two days in tears and visited another dental clinic and didn't anything for me and for my pain, 111 gave me an appointment in this amazing clinic, The guy at the reception is lovely, he made us feel very comfy, Fiona was my angel, I had been in tears for two days, painkillers didnt work at all and in 10 minutes Fiona took away all the pain❤️ I can't recommended enough this clinic, they are great
Positive experience: Awesome dentist, very professional and friendly, he was reassuring and the process was painless and pretty quick, I wish the assistant was as nice and welcoming.
Thank you for your feedback
Fantastic experience: Very friendly, totally professional, pulled tooth out in 5 seconds flat, walked out in 10 mins from walking in minus one bad tooth ache..
Thank you for your feedback
Fantastic experience: just want to say a massive thankyou to fiona, your amazing and my treatment was perfect. no pain and no problems the staff were amazing too. thankyou you ever so much.
Thank you for your feedback
Negative experience: Had an appointment there as I'm in alot of pain with a front crown and back bottom tooth and are exempt but disappointed as they said they only pull teeth out and only deal with one tooth at a time
We do offer treatment other than extraction , but as we are urgent care we do not offer cosmetic treatments. We do deal with one pain problem per appointment as triaged via 111, we will assess that tooth problem that was highlighted on your triage notes. Hope that helps. Thank you for your feedback
Fantastic experience: I was there on Tuesday morning with a cracked tooth and I give it five stars, great dentist, he helped me a lot, thank you again!!!!
Thank you for your feedback
Fantastic experience: Just been in, same day appointment at 12 through 111 at 9am Excellent staff, but after a few injections they still couldn't get the tooth out(wisdom) without far too much pain for me, so gave me antibiotics and I've to comeback They still get a thumbs up from me
Thank you for your feedback
Fantastic experience: Got seen after calling NHS 111, lovely friendly dentist & staff, explained everything, very happy with the service.
Thank you for your feedback
Fantastic experience: excellent and friendly reception not long waiting time very professional staff and excellent treatment , had tooth extraction was painless and very quick , done before I even knew it , highly recommended fantastic staff
Negative experience: Would give 0 star if possible. Boyfriend has an abscess and rang 111 for an emergency dentist appointment. 3 days later given an appointment today at this dentist. Took his money as soon as he stepped through the door and to be told that they can’t do anything because it’s too swollen and they aren’t qualified to cut and drain the abscess! What’s the point in going to a dentist to be told they can’t do the procedure needed to make the patient better! It’s a joke!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely wonderful service! All the staff including the reptionist are clearly caring, dedicated and personable. I was dreading the experience after suffering unbearable pain with a horrible gum infection but the staff eased my considerable anxiety and completed the treatment without fuss or judgment and they were happy to help. Thank you so much!
Fantastic experience: Was referred here through 111 and the Fiona the dentist who saw me was absolutely fantastic, clearly explained what was wrong and what treatment she was going to provide, was painless, quick and informative. Thank you Fiona
Negative experience: 180 mile round trip for them to put temporary filling in and told to see your dentist told them I can't get a nhs dentist and can't afford to go private . Was out in 5 minutes
