Fantastic experience: I just wanted to thank Marwan. He’s always kind, patient & communicative whenever I’ve had an appointment with him. I find anything dental/medical a bit anxiety inducing so I really appreciate anyone who makes those experiences easier for me, intentionally or not, without patronising me or making a big deal out of it. Fantastic experience: My children were seen by Shelby today for advice around cleaning their teeth, nutrition , gum health , snacking and mouth anatomy and what causes bacteria . We were in with her for 1.5 hours and she was incredible . Her knowledge base is vast and she was able to communicate to the children in a way which ensured they were well aware of the risks of their current brushing practice and were this will lead if changes are not made . I felt the information really sunk in and I have also learnt some new tips myself. Thank you so much , an absolute asset to the practice .

Fantastic experience: I have a phobia of dentists and from walking through the door and walking out again - every single person is lovely. At one time, I wouldn't have made it through the door and I definitely wouldn't have had a hygienist appointment, as I always saw that as an unnecessary need. I can now do all of it and that is down to everybody in the surgery, making people feel at ease!

The receptionists are kind, compassionate and really make you feel like you matter, they're a real credit to the team. Rishiq the dentist and Charlee his assistant are absolute stars, they always go above and beyond for me and have a kind and caring approach to their treatment which makes me feel nothing but confidence leaving my care in their hands, top notch clinicians! Recommend to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I had my teeth straightened here using clear connect aligners - I was so well looked after throughout the entire treatment by Mr Warren and all my scanning and aftercare by the lovely girl boss Shelby (who even puts my favourite music on for my appointments!) I’ve been at this dentist 20+ years and wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Negative experience: Usually my check-ups here go fine. I come into reception and get greeted by staff who never smile, they take my money and then the Professionals after that (Dentists) do a great job. Great greeting. Great aftercare advice. I make my way home. My recent trip was not so good. Went into the room, I'm not sure if this person was a hygienist or a dentist. They did not introduce themselves and looked like they didn't want to be there at 9am! She went straight in with cleaning. I had to stop them as I had a few questions. Got them answered and she continued. The way she used the interdental brushes was aggressive at times missing the gaps and stabbing the gums. I had to stop her once again! She made it out like it's my fault the gums were bleeding. No love, you just stabbed my gums multiple times! At the end, there was no aftercare advice. She said I could eat straight away. That maybe true but as a caution I stayed away from hot and cold, hard and crunchy foods for while. Also did some salt water rinses. When leaving, I asked for her name. Claire/Clare. Can't believe I paid to get treated like that.

Negative experience: Amateurs and they will take your money no problem, tooth extraction went wronge the dentist should known her capabilities instead she left me in agony for weeks payed lots of money out but no refund. Had to pay out again for a private dentist who extracted my tooth with no problems there for I would not recommend My Dentist to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Due to covid restrictions I had not been to the dentist for 2 years. I was nervous, as its not my favourite place to visit. Roma and Catrin were welcoming and put me at ease. Roma answered all my questions, she showed me my x ray results, which I've never seen before. I'm actually looking forward to my next visit. I would recommend this dentist to family and friends.

Negative experience: The people that work here are lovely. However, a dentist needs to be capable more than the people in the practice needing to be lovely. I paid 2850GBP a few years ago to get my teeth fixed, as getting in as an NHS patient was impossible. The dentist told me it was a one off investment as my teeth would last me the rest of my life. Well, I got three root canals, all three went wrong. All three had to be redone, by a different dentist. And then they had to be redone again, by yet again another dentist as each time the dentist that did them left the practice shortly after. I've spent all my savings here to get my teeth saved and they are still not fixed. I've given up hope now. Wasted my money and my teeth and don't have the energy to go back and forth with the practice over it again. Very disappointed and very broke.

Fantastic experience: I was very scared and nervous about going for treatment, as I have a fear of dentist, but Sheraz Gul and his wonderful assistant did everything to reassure and calm me. I know, that I am in very good hands, in future appointments and it's worth every penny. Can't thank them enough for being calm and very patient with me. Highly recommend this dental surgery. The staff are amazing.

Negative experience: I waited 50 minutes for a check up appointment. 30 minutes into my wait, and no update, I kindly asked reception if they knew why there was a delay. There were lovely and asked the dentist for me, who said it would be another 5 minutes as they were dealing with a patient. 15 minutes later, my name was finally called. I understand the delay and that sometimes a patient needs treatment that takes longer than planned. But expecting another patient to wait for nearly an hour for a routine checkup is frustrating. I would have been happy to reschedule and if there wasn’t a risk of being dropped as a patient. After my appointment, I was told I needed a filling which I didn’t have time for (since I was now an hour behind schedule). I was told, by the dentist, the treatment plan would be open for three months. But two weeks later, reception called and I have to book by the end of the month otherwise it will be cancelled and I will have to pay to be seen again. Very confused and extremely disappointed by the wait time and difference in communication.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to this practice since I was a child (1980s). Ive seen lots of different dentists over that time, and my latest dentist, Salina, is the best I've seen.

Fantastic experience: My mother was seen by dentist Mr Sheraz and nurse Emma after she lost her dentures when she was admitted to hospital in november 23. She was not able to eat any solid foods and was quite ill. It's usually a long process but we were seen quickly. In total there were 4 appointments. Mr Sheraz was very respectful and professional got on with the job with care and attention. Emma was great too. Very competent and always smiling and making us feel comfortable. My mum is very happy with her dentures and now she can get some proper nutrition. Amazing 10/10 service Thank you guys!

Firstly the reception team are friendly, approachable, and polite, the texts you get to remind you of your appt and then the most courteous phone call to also remind you. 10/10 for the reception team. Olivia and Diane are second to none, both reassuring, tells you exactly what they're doing to make you feel at ease. Polite and both so easy to get on with. They are the phenomenal duo. You can have banter with these two and laughs, the only downsize is olivias singing, (only joking) lol. If I could give a score out of 100 it would be 100% all the way. Fantastic experience: Absolutely first class treatment at my dentist Avondale. When you hear on the news about the difficulties of getting a dental appointment and the problems people have with other dentists I feel that we are lucky as residents of Shipley have access to the best dental treatment. This dental practice has the customers best interests at heart. Everything was explained and the care that was taken was exceptional. Staff are friendly and polite and reminders are there to make sure an appointment isn’t missed.

Fantastic experience: Receptionist are very welcoming, I recently got moved to the dentist after my pervious dentist the service were terrible and could never get an appointment. This was totally the opposite. Sima and her assistant Caitlin are lovely and make you feel so at ease and my appointments for rest of my treatment are all booked.

But nothing to worry about and Higor was so friendly, explaining everything to me and he was very thorough. Visited again today for my appointment with Lindsey the Hygienist and Roisin the nurse. Again another professional and friendly team. It's not often you can say you've had an enjoyable visit to the dentist!

Fantastic experience: I had extremely painful toothache over the weekend and on Monday mydentist keighley had no emergency appointments left and sent me to mydentist shipley, I want to say a massive thank you soo much to Sima and nurse Caitlin, they were both soo professional and absolutely amazing, Sima kept reassuring me and guiding me through every step of the way, and Caitlin gave me her hand and was reassuring me too. Honestly everyone is somewhat scared to visit the dentist especially if it's an extraction but I can honestly say I had an overwhelming experience and I actually cried thanking them both with the service I recieved from them. I really hope management reads my comment, I feel they are a credit to mydentist, and I'm actually looking into requesting a referral from mydentist keighley to mydentist shipley. Fantastic experience: The reception staff are always welcoming and friendly, but I can’t speak highly enough of Elysia. From the get go, she exudes confidence & self assurance which helped massively in calming my nerves. She explained my options and helped me to reach my decision to undergo what I thought would be a difficult extraction. The dreaded injections were delivered almost before I realised what was happening, she worked calmly & explained what was happening & as she did so the offending stump surrendered to her charm. The whole exercise was pain free and continues to be so 30 hours later… she is pure gold!

Fantastic experience: Had 4 bouts of treatment including 2 sessions of root canal work which I was dreading. I needn't have bothered ! Roy and Roisin were brilliant at putting me at ease and explaining what was going on . I don't think a session went by when we all weren't laughing at something! Great care. Thanks!

Fantastic experience: I think this the first time I have ever been asked to write a review of a dentist. My review of the first dentist I attended as a child would have been very different to these remarks. Roy and Roisin are sympathetic, highly skilled and clearly work very well together. I am fortunate that they now look after my dental needs.
