Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing experience with Reshmi and Zuzanna. Both were so kind, friendly and made me feel at ease from the moment I walked in. They explained everything clearly and professionally. They asked what preference in music i had, i requested country music in the background, this was a fun touch and créated a relaxed environment. You can tell they care about their patients, would high recommend!

Fantastic experience: White smiles and dental implants may be the featured elements of a dental practice, but I know that the maintenance of good dental hygiene is among the top influences for good mental health into old age (microbes can feast on brain fat). In Ariana K and Niloofer K, this practice has two professional hygienists who do a good job and have the skill to teach a patient to continue to maintain a good state of mouth hygiene between visits. I have attended this practice (under different managements) for 25 years, and I am happy to stay with BUPA Dental Care Oxford.

Fantastic experience: Unbelievabel !!! The NHS dentist there called Sehnam is the best I have ever had ...I am 57 years old and seen many dentists over my life but she is awesome! Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of visiting Bupa dental for the first time after being away from my family dentist for a few years, and I was more than taken care of. Dr Meghana covered my check up. Her attention to detail was second to none, and her communication was fantastic too. I understood how to restore my oral health — something I had neglected while caught up in a busy life. She explained during and after every procedure clearly as she went along, so nothing came as a surprise. She is very capable, I felt completely comfortable and safe in her hands. Positive experience: A trip to the dentist is usually one of necessity than choice. The fact I chose to use BUPA Dental Care Oxford for the past decade speaks volumes. Expect a friendly welcome from the receptionists and caring and professional treatments by dental staff in a central Oxford location.

Fantastic experience: I've had such a great experience at Bupa Dental Care Oxford. I recently attended two appointments at Bupa dental care to get a root canal as well as a few fillings done. I was really happy with both of my dental treatments. The reception team members Maggie, Jemma and Caroline were really helpful in handling my enquiries, as well as scheduling me in for all of my appointments. After checking in for my appointment I was warmly greeted by Dr Meghana Vaidya and Dental nurse Zuzana. They were incredibly kind and friendly, this really helped me to feel more relaxed and comfortable. During the root canal procedure, Dr Meghana Vaidya explained the whole process which felt very reassuring. As the procedure went on she would talk me through the steps of what was happening, and would regularly check to see how I was. Overall, the procedure went really well, I had no pain or discomfort during and even after the dental treatment. A week later I came in to get a few fillings and again had the same positive experience and this treatment was also carried out by Dr Meghana Vaidya and Dental nurse Abby. Before the actual treatment began, I had such a great conversation with both of them which really helped me to feel more at ease. Overall, everything was done very efficiently and I had no issues during or even after the appointment. I would highly recommend Dr Meghana Vaidya for any dental treatment, she has done such a wonderful job with both of my dental treatments. The dental staff members and reception were all really friendly and very welcoming which left me with a really positive experience.

Fantastic experience: Best practice in Oxford, from the second I walked into reception I was greeted by the lovely receptionist Gina, Margaret and Jemma and they helped calm me down while waiting as I was really scared it was my first time having a cleaning appointment, the hygienist Natalie and nurse Helen made me feel so comfortable they are such a good team, I could tell that she took here time with the cleaning and constantly asking me if I was ok and comfortable, I recommend them for your first time. If you’re scared of the going dentists this is definitely the place to go.

Fantastic experience: I Have NO Railings any more so I've had to suffer Dentures for long time. ....Getting Comfortable Dentures is hard as there is always something not quite right with them. Well My Lady Dentist Sehnampreet has put those days to rest. Her patience and attention to detail in taking impressions has resulted in "For the first Time" comfortable fitting Dentures. She gets a Gold Star From Me. So Grateful. Happy Customer.x

Positive experience: We’ve had such a positive experience bringing our children to Bupa dental care. The staff made our kids feel comfortable and welcomed. Dr. Mohammed is incredibly patient, gentle, and know exactly how to talk to children in a way that makes them feel at ease. Shraddha is always very polite and takes good care during their appointment and they explain everything step-by-step, which helped take away any fear or anxiety. My kids actually look forward to their appointments now, which says a lot! I also appreciate how thorough they are during checkups and how they take time to answer all of our questions. Highly recommend Mohammed and Shraddha to any parents looking for a kind, professional, and kid-friendly dental service.

Negative experience: Bupa is a Bully I have been a loyal customer to Bupa Dental Care for two years. During that period, I have never missed an appointment, and I have always paid my bills in full on the day of service. Between checkups, cleanings, and night guards, I have paid Bupa Dental Care over £1,200 for my own dental care. As I and my partner will now live in Oxford for the next four years—and we both use night guards—Bupa Dental Care might have expected to receive another £4,800 from us during that period (2 people x 4 years). Instead, they will receive exactly £33. Here’s why. Two weeks ago, I missed an appointment. During that two-week period, I have received two threatening letters and two threatening emails. Three of these begin with the menacing bolded words “You have an outstanding balance” — the fourth exchanges this introductory phrase for “Your outstanding balance is overdue.” The letters and email do not say “thank you for your loyal patronage” or “we appreciate your business” or “we look forward to seeing you again soon.” They do not even begin with the peremptory “I hope this message finds you well.” No—they get right down to business. Business Bupa wants, and business it will receive: £33 pounds worth, and not a penny more. I reasoned with “Reception Team”—the only name given in any correspondence. That person or people informed me that my appointment “was failed to attend” [sic], a damning critique, surely, if only one could translate it into English. In any case, I will be taking my business elsewhere (Temple Street, St. John’s, and Botley are all more affordable). I advise anyone who values customer service to do the same. Stand up to bullies—stand up to Bupa Dental Care.

Positive experience: I continue to get great service over about 20 years

Negative experience: Badly run practice - appointments cancelled same day, run very late and they even gave me someone else's nightguard with missing teeth! Avoid unless absolutely necessary. The basics aren't in place here.

Fantastic experience: Not sure if I should say this as I don’t want all her appointments to filled up but Dr Bansal and her assistant have constantly done an excellent job of looking after my teeth. Her consideration and work are the best I have come across yet in over 50 years. I have a sensitive tooth/cold water etc and after working out exactly which one it was, the covering/filling gave me instant relief.

Negative experience: I had a white filling done. Since then, I’ve been very sensitive when drinking water. I went back for a follow-up visit and had it filled again, but it still didn’t get better , Now every time I come into contact with cold water it’s excruciatingly painful and I keep getting headaches, They suggested I pay again for a dental crown to be put on , but I don’t believe they can’t cure me anymore.

I have been seeing her here for years and she is amazing.. The best hygienist I have ever seen.. She is friendly and explains everything in great detail... and gives confidence . She has a very relaxed manner and always patiently explains what she is seeing and what I can do to mitigate the need for treatment. From the moment I entered, Maggie and Gina at the reception were incredibly switched on, providing multiple reminders via email, text, and phone call 24 hours ahead of the appointment. As someone who lives and dies by their calendar and works in sales, I really appreciate their attention to detail and organisation—it makes managing my schedule so much easier. The consultation itself was handled brilliantly. Valeria was professional, thorough, and gave me valuable advice on improving my dental health. Abi, the supporting dentist, was also excellent, assisting with care and precision. I have no issue being seen by Valeria and Abi again; they put me at ease every time. This is, without a doubt, one of the best, if not the best, dental clinics in Oxford. If you’re hesitant about visiting the dentist, trust me when I say you’ll love this one in Oxford. As long as I have teeth and live in Oxford, I’ll be a patient here. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I tried Boutique, the teeth whitening treatment recommended by the dentist. I followed the instructions for 4 weeks and I was very disappointed as it did not whiten my teeth. I paid £643 in total.

Negative experience: I was a patient at this dental surgery since I was a child. As an adult I thought the care was good and I liked the advise my last routine appointment gave me, how to floss properly and how to even hold the floss to make it easier. I was never scared to go. I went for a routine checkup and hygienist once a year like clockwork as well However during the height of the first COVID lockdown, I had no dental issues and didn't feel the need to book a routine appointment when trying to avoid contact with people, especially with vulnerable people at home. So I didn't! A year later after lockdown I went to book an appointme as I usually would, only to be told I was no longer a patient. Apparently if you don't go at least once a year they remove you as an NHS patient, with no warning whatsoever. Not even an email. You would think there would be better communication and perhaps exceptions during COVID era. Ironically I wanted to swap to a private patient but alas, I've moved to a different surgery now. Update 20 Aug 2024: Having now been to a private surgery, I have seen very clearly for myself and been advised by my Dentist that Bupa Oxford have damaged my teeth. During the process of having fillings they carelessly drilled into the neighbouring tooth on multiple occasions. Damaging healthy teeth and opening them up to cavities. I am now paying the price of their shoddy work
