Fantastic experience: I was at Clifton for an extraction and not having had one since I was a child was slightly nervous. I was put at ease and I can honestly say I didn’t feel a thing during the process. Kevin Bruce, my dentist was professional and friendly and I had complete confidence in the treatment he gave me.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Clifton by my NHS dentist regarding dental implants. I have just had my first visit and was so impressed by the way I was treated by everyone at the clinic. Dr James Millar and his assistants did an excellent job of explaining what was happening during my surgery and all done with a very warm and friendly manner. Fantastic experience: It was perfect and i felt very safe re Covid. I expected good things as this place has saved my ability to eat normally - costs of treatment are higher than NHS but I get such great (and long lasting) tratment that i really do not mind. Second review: I had a full hygiene work and it was brilliant. Yes it costs a bit more (or a lot more) than most, but you get what you pay for. I have done three implants at Clifton DC, re-worked two crowns and root treatments and had some very old front filling re-done too. No other practice can beat how good they all are. Further visits in April 2023: Just returned to the clinic for an extraction and got a really good service. The clinic still offers an emergency on call 24/7 which can make a huge difference when there are complications. Everything is done to avert them. Dentists and Staff are brilliant, I wish I had their stamina because they are super efficient. I am particularly fond of Lesley as she is a liaison person. It is easy to miss something when you are out of surgery and you can count on her to tally up between Dentists and Admins. Also, the surgery is super safe in terms of hygiene maintaining some of the Covid standards for extra precautions.

I am back in January to complete my root canal but I am very happy with my treatment and how I was treated by all. A lovely environment with friendly and attentive staff. Negative experience: I did not feel my consultation demonstrated professional and experienced knowledge of my TMJ condition. I was able to gather more knowledge from world wide dentists on their YouTube channels than was offered at Clifton Dental Practice. I made the appointment believing Clifton dental practice would thoroughly explore my condition. I was in 15 - 20 minutes and charged £92 for this length of time. Only a brief look inside my mouth was carried out to confirm I do clench my jaw, but there was no checking of the surrounding elements, including the condyle popping out of my cheek (I did ask if this can be felt for piece of mind , instead I was shown a skull and how it moved). I believe my articular disc and capsule to have moved out of position and be moving with reduction . However none of this in my view was checked/confirmed. As I said previously, I do not feel I had a professional examination and that’s what I was paying for. No x-rays offered, no evidence that a potential disc displacement can be returned into positions….Instead I was sent on my way with a leaflet (similar to what’s already on your website) recommending me to eat soft foods for 8 weeks , try relaxation techniques and identify bad habits. All of this is regularly available on internet and paying for a consultation should delve a lot deeper into someone’s condition.

Fantastic experience: I always appreciate the friendly approach of staff members and the reassuring affect that they have all developed. As always my treatment was efficient, professional and everything was explained in detail. The safety procedures in place are very reassuring and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Clifton and Dr Ross Henderson, as well as all the other staff members. 5 stars!
