Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic, I’m needle phobic and the dentist and assistant reassured me and made me feel at ease, the assistant held my hand and they gave me great tooth service, I’ve been to dentists before and they have just done a botch job or just fixed one tooth problem, but my dentist Mohammad Aun Ali Mehdi was very professional and recommended the best treatments with no added prices Highly recommend
Negative experience: Greetings We would like to share our experience regarding my husband’s wisdom tooth extraction at your Coventry clinic. The extraction itself was done by Dr. Sameerah, and she was absolutely fabulous. She was gentle throughout the procedure, extremely professional, and took the time to clearly explain the aftercare. We felt reassured and well looked after during the extraction, and we truly appreciate her calm and caring approach. Unfortunately, my husband’s bleeding did not stop for the next two days, and we had to return for a follow-up. This visit was categorised as an emergency and charged accordingly, which we were completely fine with — as long as proper care and attention were provided. During this emergency visit, we were seen by Dr. Mohammad Ali. The consultation lasted less than two minutes, and we were rushed out without proper discussion of the pain, bleeding, or possible complications. There was no attempt to understand the severity of the discomfort, nor was any antibiotic prescribed at that stage. The manner felt hurried and dismissive, which was not reassuring for someone already in pain. Wisdom tooth extractions can have serious after-effects, and in such situations, a doctor’s calmness, patience, and willingness to listen are extremely important. When we briefly asked about teeth-grinding guards, we were told, “You have come on emergency, you need another appointment to talk about that.” While we understand time constraints, the tone felt unnecessary and lacked empathy. As the pain and bleeding continued, we returned again after two days and were seen by Dr. Sameerah once more. Once again, she was patient, attentive, and finally prescribed antibiotics, which brought relief. Our main concern is this: after a painful wisdom tooth extraction, why did it take nearly six days and two follow-up visits for antibiotics to be prescribed, when the complications were clearly ongoing? This resulted in several days of avoidable and intense pain. This review comes from a place of sheer distress and helplessness, not hostility. Patients come to doctors seeking relief from unbearable pain, placing complete trust in them. While we deeply respect the medical profession and recognise its selfless nature, we hope that sensitivity, patience, and empathy are shown consistently by all practitioners, especially in emergency situations. Fantastic experience: Fantastic Dentist, can't rate highly enough, the staff are friendly and accomodating, the surgery itself is brand new and completely flawless. After years of avoiding the dentist I was made to feel at ease by my Dentist Mo, I had to have multiple extractions and he made this procedure comfortable and painless, I expected much more pain and irritation but to my surprise there was none of this. He is great at what he does and the staff here are lovely. Highly recommended

Negative experience: Do not get composite with Amrit Kaur she wrecked my composite at another practice then left! I had to pay £1500 to get them removed then to have redone. Her work is not up to standard!! Do your research.

Negative experience: I haven’t been to the dentist in years, personal preference I hate dentist to the point I can’t sleep knowing I got an appointment the next day really makes me anxious, so I don’t know why it’s only half hour appointments so you have to keep going back I’d rather be done in one go, several extractions to be done and a filling got to the first extraction he snapped the root and he couldn’t get it out despite using the side of my gums like a levy to prise it out, so they said they would have to make a referral I don’t know why they can’t do it there or somewhere closer I’m being sent to Burton and I’ve had to phone them twice to find out where the referral was, I’ll end up in A & E as it’s already becoming a abscess, and they’ve already charge me for the work to be done and won’t refund me even though I cancelled the rest of my appointments with the work to be done well in advance, really lack in caring, I know my teeth are in a state, but I not going back to butchered then have to go elsewhere to get the work finished. Which as I come from the other side of Coventry its a 32 mile drive to Burton. Update since placing this review they have offered me a 50% refund for the work/extractions not done. But then I’ve got to drive to the practice to get it, so between my time and diesel to get to the practice I’ve left it(£40ish) I will end with. I have had a white filling done first before the extraction with no problems.

Negative experience: Absolute cattle market of a dentist, definite display of profit over care. Treatment good enough but miserable receptionists with zero urgency and the wait is always 20 mins or so after appointment time. Shame not spoilt for choice or would go somewhere else.

Negative experience: Experienced the worst customer service from the dentist. I wasn’t offered an introduction after coming for the first time about who my dentist was. Dentist didn’t offer mouth wash to clean mouth after prodding about in my mouth. Didn’t advise prices of treatments and options you have reception and dentist have different prices they’re deceptive. Didn’t even offer to help find way to reception HandWriting on notes provided worse than a 3 year old unclear of prices and treatment. When they talk to you you don’t have conversations face to face. Just a poor customer experience over all

Negative experience: The dental treatment was fine but this was hugely overshadowed by the 50 minutes I had to wait to be seen. My appointment time was 14:30 and I wasn’t seen until 15:20. Absolutely ridiculous to expect patients to make an appointment and then wait that length of time to be seen, especially as NHS appointments can only be made between 9am - 5pm so people are be taking time out of their workday for these appointments.

Negative experience: After my child's dental appointment I went back to reception to ask for a letter with their name and address, which I needed to prove their address to secure their grammar school place, and was met with an agressive response from the receptionists. Was immediately shut down by the first receptionist and then another joined the conversation unprompted, to double down as it were, she probably felt the first one needed help getting rid of me. I was first told that they can't help me as it's their policy not to provide letters for this purpose, then was told that for all they know the address they have on record is not the child's real address, and lastly, when I asked if I could at least get an appointment letter printed out for their next appointment, I was told they do not post paper appointment letters anymore, it's all done by email and text. I asked to speak with a manager and was refused and was told I would be told the same, as it's their policy. Managed to get the issue resolved with the help of my bank. Then, a few months later, lo and behold we receive a letter in the post inviting my child for a dentist appointment (exactly the letter I had asked for and was aggresively denied it). So I was lied to and made to feel like I was an inconvenience because two receptionists felt like it. Make of it what you will but it's definitely not ok behaviour no matter how you look at it.

Negative experience: Never waited below 40minutes. Last time, even after the final patient came out, dr. Still kept me waiting another 20minutes for a3 minute appointment, just for the fun of it. It is impossible for me to attend these appointments, seem like a mocking. Not to mention how upset are the receptionists if you even dare to ask anything at all. Very disappointed in the place and doctor's attitude.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience with Victoria. First appointment was for my 3 year son and she was brilliant with him. Negative experience: Had an appointment at 3:50, arrived at 3:51 and waited a couple minutes to be served by receptionist, get spoken to at 3:53 and are told we are late and cannot be seen! Asked why we are being sent away when most places have a 10 min leeway and she confirmed 10 mins is also their policy but the dentist has already ‘packed up’ ready to leave! Wait 6 months for an appointment and then refused to be seen after rushing through traffic to get there on time. Absolutely appalling service. Dentist clearly had somewhere to be and wanted to leave early

Negative experience: Garbage service, trying to get my daughter dental treatment and the appointments been cancelled twice now with reception staff rude every time I call and not willing to book my daughter whos 9 with another dentist because she can only see a dentist who's recommended treatment. I explained it was actually another dentist who recommended the treatment but they wont budge and very stuck in their ways. What happens if the particular dentist is constantly off for the foreseeable do I just keep allowing my daughter's health to remain as it is? Wouldn't recommend, i just have to keep waiting.

Positive experience: From the days of the school dentist where they drilled your teeth for practice, gone private, did find out from another privite dentist that a root canal that someone had done, had left some of the file there and had not filled the whole of the root, which is the cause of regular infection. Not sure if I am on the 4th dentist here in 2 yrs. You can park or walk if near. Not after a dear John response from owner either.

Appointment for my 86 yr old mum had to be re-arranged originally, then they changed the time, then they sent me at least 6 “reminders to attend” along with a form to fill in that I’d already filled in only to receive a text, not even a call, a couple of hours before the appointment to say “sorry we’ve had to cancel appointment” Disgusting!

Positive experience: So, let's start. I've seen all of the dentists there so far, and only ONE was able to help me in the past 2 years of never-ending pain. I'm struggling with horrible wisdom teeth pain but every time I came there I was given antibiotics and was send home because apparently you got to complain about 1 tooth 3 times (per year) for them to actually do something about it. However, I'm struggling with all 4 and now imagine the cost for 4 teeth x 3. I told them I need them out 1. My jaw is too small, and they are pushing my front teeth backwards. They didn't care and they refused to do a x-ray. 2. Two of my wisdom teeth are growing into my cheeks, coursing cuts while talking and eating. They didn't care. 3 I keep getting infections and bad inflammation so they gave me antibiotics each time and I was send home. Recently I had to make an emergency appointment with dentist I never had before and I can't be more thankful. She done the x Ray straight away without me asking for it. Referred me for the surgery asap and told me that my wisdom teeth are pushing into my bone and damaging my nerves. This all could of been done 2 years ago when i started complaining about them. Before my teeth got into this state. Before my front teeth were pushed backwards. The dentist I had before never listed. They didn't try to help they just wanted money from me. I'm absolutely disgusted and honestly thankful for that dentist which took me even fact I wasn't her patient without her I would be still crying from pain with swollen face not being able to drink, eat, talk and to go work. Without her I would give this place 1 star

Fantastic experience: Paul has been my dentist for many years, he has always put me at ease and is very reassuring as he knows how much I struggle just to get me to sit in the chair for a check up so when it came to pass that I needed a wisdom tooth out, I went to pieces and couldn't stop shaking. Positive experience: Shruti and Nikki were both very kind and patient with my son. He is autistic and is highly anxious. They did make him feel comfortable enough that he spoke to them, which is lovely, and they worked quickly and efficiently to fill his tooth as needed. They offered some solutions that would help my son, and provided some suggestions for products. I had to explain on 3 occasions why what he "should do" isn't possible due to his autism, and in the end I am sure I sounded rude. This would be my ONLY negative - staff perhaps need some umbrella training on ASD and SPD.

Negative experience: I went to see Raluka she was great and said that she was happy for me to be seen as an NHS patient (initially I had to pay privately, but I couldn't afford private due to being unable to work because I'm disabled). I contacted reception as she advised me to only to be told I couldn't go on her NHS books they were closed. Fast forward a year I am now left with a tooth that needs taking out because I have not been able to afford to go back to have the work carried out. I tried again once more this week, explained my situation only to be told 'why haven't you been for a year'- durr because I can't afford it, And 'No you can't be seen on the NHS it will cost you private charges and you can't book unless you give us your bank details'!!! The dentist told me I could see her on the NHS but the money grabbing practice said no. Now I am left in agony as I can't afford what they are charging simply to be seen, let alone how many hundreds it will cost for treatment. I remember when dentists used to be there to help, not to extract(!) as much money possible from you.

Unfortunately, as this practice is already at maximum capacity for NHS patients, they are currently unable to offer you an NHS place. In some practices where we have no NHS appointment capacity, we do have alternative private options for patients to access dentistry, outside of the practices NHS contractual obligations. We will always offer patients this option as an alternative, so our patients can make an informed choice on their dental care.

Fantastic experience: I’m very happy with Mydentist at Mosely Ave. I go regularly every six months and see Adrian. I recently lost a filling and piece of tooth and I was seen very quickly for a temporary filling. I only had to wait a couple of weeks to get the filling properly replaced. Adrian is very kind and reassuring and did a good repair of my tooth. I highly recommend.
