Fantastic experience: Always a friendly face when I visit Infinityblu in Galashiels. This time I met my new dentist Ilan. He made me feel at ease straight away, and clearly explained options for my tooth. Ended up with a filling, which was fine. Ive been a nervous patient for many years, but feel I can trust Ilan, and would recommend this dental practice to anyone.

Negative experience: Not impressed been with Albert Place dentist for 60 + years .Have never been contacted by Infinityblu since taking over practice (probably because I was an NHS patient) I went today to get some emergency treatment to be told I am no longer registered with them?? NO HELP OFFERED.other than phone 111 after 1800hrs.

Fantastic experience: The clinic itself is very clean and modern. l have used Bairs services on a number of occasions now. He has a very high degree of technical competence and attention to detail. This included taking time to complete a comprehensive document of all the issues he had found with my teeth. I was then able reflect in my own time what was a priority and what wasn't. He also explained diagnoses, procedures, and options in a way that was easy to understand. He is also very good at putting you at ease over any nervousness and also mindful of any discomfort during procedures. He is very transparent about costs and the realistic outcomes. I have been using dentists for over 40 years and can't rate his professionalism and manner highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I have found all aspects of my annual dental check at Infinityblu to be excellent. They are always ready for me at the appointed time. My Dentist Blair MacDonald & his nursing assistant are both thorough & friendly. I can usually park at the door. Because I walk with two sticks & the stairs would be difficult for me, I am taken into a downstairs surgery.

Negative experience: If you are lucky enough as an adult to have access to a NHS dentist stick with them unless you have deep pockets! On the other hand if the latest expensive treatments are important to you and money is no object chose Infinityblu. The service at the Galashiels branch is good but unfortunately what does come strongly across is a push to extract as much money from customers as possible. An unsettling feeling when your dentist has a bit of an air of a salesperson about them. Motivation to provide such an essential service shouldn’t be blurred by pursuit of profit!

Fantastic experience: I had the whole upper arch teeth replaced by Dental Implants and I’m very pleased with the results. All of the Infinityblu staff I came into contact with were proficient & friendly. The professional dental implant team in particular, performed exceptionally well under their skilful & knowledgeable team leader. I have no hesitation in recommending Infinityblu Dental Care & Implant Clinic.

Fantastic experience: From the outset this practice made coming to the dentist a positive experience. The reception team are lovely and very welcoming, the practice is immaculately clean. The dentist Alan (Purves) and his nurse Esme were professional, knowledgeable and very kind, putting me at ease straight away. I’m a very nervous patient but I was made feel comfortable at all stages of my treatment and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I went to the Practice as an unregistered patient. I was really pleased that they could fit me in at short notice. The reception staff were friendly and professional. I saw Alan Purves and was very happy with all aspects of my appointment and treatment.

Fantastic experience: I recently had to request an emergency appt. I was seen the same day l phoned which was between Christmas and New Year. I was seen on time and assessed and treated at the same appt. It was all seamless and treated at every step with respect and compassion. I have been with the same practice for decades and stayed through all the handovers of owners. It’s the first time l needed an emergency appt and couldn’t fault the service that was provided. It is difficult to get a normal check up because of cancellations, but if this is what happens when l really needed them l will be staying for the foreseeable future. Thank you

Fantastic experience: Alan the dentist and Shivon were great they done a thorough check of problem teeth with various tests and x-rays before discussing what best way to eradicate issues. There time and patience were something i have not experienced before at a dentist and it made me feel more relaxed and confident in my treatment Verry happy with Alan, Shivon and the team worth every penny !

Fantastic experience: So I have visited Blair twice now. I am wanting my teeth whitened, not Essex white but a few shades would be nice. Had my first appointment and was given advice. So today I was given more informed on my routine. My teeth and plaque issues are resolved. He was very honest and said if I went through the treatment now without addressing my gum issues, (my gums bleed a lot)I’d have a poor result or perhaps problems. Now Blair could quite easily take my money start lifting my shade for the sake of the money. He genuinely wants the best result for me not my money. He so easy to chat. 5 * patient care. I cannot recommend him high enough. The reception staff are also amazing all of them. Having a mobility problems they do their best to help me. Great team in Galashiels 5* all round

Fantastic experience: Had two broken teeth repaired by Mr Alan Purves had a very thorough check up before treatment commenced. When I attended the 2nd appointment Alan explained in detail everything he was doing throughout the procedure which took well over an hour and was completely painless. Alan and nurse Megan are a credit to the practice.

Negative experience: Waited over half an hour after the allotted time for my appointment and had to leave to get to work. I was then assured they would be back in touch no correspondence until they sent a letter telling me I was deregistered due to missing an appointment, the appointment that I left due to them being late. Would not recommend

As a practice we try to see our patients regularly to maintain their dental health and should we loose contact from a patient despite contacting them we take this as they have chose to move on from the practice.
As I'm sure you can appreciate there is a huge shortage of NHS dental care we do keep on top of the list to allow active patients to access the care.
