Fantastic experience: Had an emergency dental issue with my tooth cracking off. I was worried I’d get an infection so rang Scott’s Arms at 5:30 and was booked for 7:05 pm. Amazing service (I guess when you pay for it). Dental Surgeon Talal was fantastic and his assistant Fozia, he explained everything he was going to do with the extraction and the do’s and don’t’s after an extraction, the risks of getting a dry socket which would involve painful infection for several weeks so took all his advice and it worked a charm. Thank you for your excellent service Talal and Fozia. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: For someone who avoids the dentist as much as possible, I can honestly say this practice is amazing. They are so professional but also at the sametime make you feel calm, they talk you through everything while trying to keep the cost down. I actually don't dread coming to this practice and feel confident I'm going to get the best care.

Negative experience: I paid 100 pounds to change the tooth filling only and paid for two teeth to be treated. Very bad service. I will not repeat it again.

Fantastic experience: I called for an emergency appointment at 9am and I was seen just over 2 hours later by Dr Nikki Gallagher and her team who were amazing. Nikki was professional, kind and made me feel at ease. I am really pleased with the outcome of my appointment today. Highly recommend Dr Nikki Gallagher. All the staff were very friendly

Positive experience: Called today as began being sick and wanted to rearrange to be informed my £60.00 deposit would be lost as need 24 hours notice. This needs looking at? I decided to continue to attend my appointment and apologise to the dentist if i was unwell during my appointment.I arrived early at 15.30 appointment was for 16.00. At 16.20 went up to reception to ask what delay was to be told someone in before me. The look I got for asking what the delay was, disgusting how dare i ask? made my decision to leave easy as well as feeling unwell still. I will be emailing a formal complaint to look into this! David my dentist has been great put my mind at ease for the treatment I required but unfortunately did not get to see him today. 3 stars are for dentist deducted 2 stars for treatment and poor communication from reception staff

Fantastic experience: I had to have some dental work done as I'd rather stupidly stopped seeing a dentist during covid. I made my first appointment at Scott Arms, following the practice being recommended by a friend. Best dentists I have ever been to! Excellent service from the receptionists and the dental nurses. I was seen by Dr Sophia Chadha. Dr Sophia was so reassuring and kind and came up with a treatment plan to get my teeth healthy again. The treatment I received was amazing, fixed all my sensitivity and I was so pleased with everything, so much so that I booked to have some whitening and cosmetic dental work done to fix my top front teeth that I had hated since I was a child. The cosmetic treatment I received was absolutely first class again, everything explained so well and Dr Sophia was really kind and reassuring when I was getting the treatment, no pressure at all and did everything at the pace I wanted. I never felt a thing during any of the appointments! The results have honestly been life changing, my teeth are the best they have ever been, no sensitivity, but most of all I love my new smile, and can now smile with the confidence I never had before. Thank you so much! Dr Sophia is the best dentist I have ever seen and I'll always be so grateful for the help and kindness shown to me from everyone at Scott Arms.

Fantastic experience: I recently needed a dental treatment, and I’m honestly so glad I went to Scott arms dental practice. Dr shaym Patel carried out the procedure with care and confidence, which made me feel at ease. I would highly recommend!

Positive experience: Couldn’t solve the problem dentist isn’t confident with dealing with patients with crowns couldn’t see from the x ray what was a bridge and what was individual crowns - good for stands emergency problems but wouldn’t trust them to deal with veneers or crowns (cosmetic work)

Fantastic experience: The guys at Scott arms dental were unbelievably friendly and patient with me I have had a serious phobia of medical settings and any sort of medication since I was a child, they have persisted for a whole year with me turning up and backing out for what at first would have been a very simple tooth extraction obviously this in a year progressed to something more complicated but thanks to the patients they showed I finally found the courage to go through with a surgical extraction and I would like to thank Samsun (hopefully this is how i spell your name) you were awesome and will 100% be back for all my dental needs in future thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: Went as an emergency patient due to toothache, got me in the same day for an extraction. I'm a very anxious patient but I needn't have worried, Dr Shyam Patel and Jaz were amazing, felt at ease straight away and the extraction was pretty painless and very quick, I will definitely always go and see him in the future. Reception staff were lovely as well.

Fantastic experience: I needed emergency dental treatment last night, I was informed about the Scott arms dental practice, gave them a call got me an appointment for the same night when I got there they were so polite and friendly, I got called in after waiting around 15 mins the dentist dr. Imran and his assistant Adila was fantastic they made me feel at ease spoke through everything with me, what’s was happening and what was going to happen next, I can’t thank them all enough as the dentist is a scary place for most, I will 100% recommend the Scott arms dental practice to anyone who needs any dental work, and will be using it myself again.

Negative experience: What can I say. I felt they wanted your money before they discussed what they could do. It is a very large dental practice lots of little spaces. I felt like it was a cattle market. There is a car park but it's not as big as the establishment to accommodate all cars with the ratio to potential patients. Tried to get a refund on the work that wasn't carried out and they told me I had to give 24 hours notice which I did. I wasn't going to argue with tghe receptionist as she as been trained to say this. Would I use them again...... no

Fantastic experience: Been struggling for a while with a painful tooth but over the bank holiday weekend it reached an unbearable point. I then had a restless night and placed a call to 111 who suggested Scott’s arms. As soon as they opened I rang and was seen within an hour! The team were very professional and for a bank holiday Monday they were quite busy. The dentist looked at my mouth did X-rays straight away. I was shown the xray the problem was explained with the plan and the cost . I’ve never had an experience at a dentist as positive as this I didn’t even feel the tooth removed. Very professional and put my mind at ease. No more NHS dentist for me!

Fantastic experience: I recently had both upper and lower wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Shyam Patel, and the experience was outstanding. He handled the procedure with such precision and care that I truly felt I was in the best hands - angel hands, in fact. His calm and professional demeanour immediately put me at ease, and he explained everything clearly beforehand, which made a big difference. The extractions were smooth and surprisingly comfortable, and my recovery was quick, with minimal discomfort. Dr. Patel combines exceptional technical skill with genuine empathy, and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing dental surgery.

Fantastic experience: Animesh and Leah really looked after me on Friday when I had to have my wisdom tooth extracted. As we get that little bit older we loose our nerve slightly and with a chronic illness I feel pain more plus after a previous bad experience I was very nervous, shaking in fact, I felt so stupid! But they were both so friendly and made me feel at ease. And who can say they have a view of a beautiful garden whilst being numbed up at the dentist with the radio on to help you feel relaxed! Samson and the team treated me with a 5 star level of care and also offered me ongoing appointments to irrigate the tooth removal site at no additional cost. Negative experience: After care from implant team is not the best. After spending 3.5k and wishing to spend an additional 1.5k road was closed to the practice which made me late, understandable that I missed my appointment but receptionist Jo is really rude has no manners and does not know how to speak to patients in the correct manner after being rudely dismissed there was no appointments available. If I could see another specialist I would but unfortunately I can’t because Scott arms done the work. After almost a year after having my implant with gold crown gold crown repeatedly falls off now after spending so much money this is not acceptable

Fantastic experience: After returning to the dentist after 15 years to see Dr Dara Cotton, I’d finally started building my confidence back up due to her gentle and kind approach to my fear. I had to schedule a checkup, scale and polish which was booked with Dr Demi Patel and she was extremely kind, knowledgeable and gentle too. Both have been fantastic with my phobia and extremely patient.

Negative experience: Not pleased had a filling done just under two weeks ago it came out a few minutes ago whilst eating cheese beans soft pie . Paid £ 125 don't think the job was done properly by dentists Who carried out the procedure it only took about ten minutes Not pleased not first time either but I'm now complaining online about some of the in competent dentists. Do a proper job and hope this time it's filled in and lasts seeing them in morning tommrrow, don't to be want charged for the same filling either . Not happy .Attending this surgery for 10 years .

Fantastic experience: Been here today first dentist visit for 28 years, i was so scared to see a dentist but finally got the courage to go, best decision i have made, my dentist was Shyam Patel who was perfect in every way, kept me calm talked me through my treatment and explained everything in detail, he was assisted by his nurse Olivia who was just lovely, they made me so relaxed and comfortable i even had a tooth removed, i will be going back in the next few days to continue with my treatment.

Fantastic experience: I did not Belive until today that angels are in dental clinics ! Today I found 2 of them ( dr Shyam Patel and Steffy ) I have never ever seen such angels and divine kindness they encourage me at my worst they stood by my side they were so professional and they’re work was flawless . I just loved their kindness I was so happy and safe when they did the tooth extraction that I didn’t even know when it was finished ! Negative experience: Secretarial staff were very friendly and professional but sadly this is where it all ended, I had booked an emergency appointment only to have to wait over a week of pain to see the dentist (JR) who. Initially seemed friendly enough but had little patience and tolerance to my severe gag reflex and ultimately didn't do any dental treatment but still wanted me to fill out forms to charge me for my visit. He then proceeded to tell me I had to make another appointment as he was unable to deal with my tooth extraction and that I would have to pay even though I am exempt from Dental fees which I found bewildering and bemusing. He finally gave me a temporary filling and advised me to go to another dentist for my dental care or pay to have it done there. Not happy and still in alot of pain.

Fantastic experience: Dr Guvinder Tutt was amazing today, I went in for a molar tooth extraction and it was completed within 2 minutes. I’m definitely going back for my tooth implants very soon and I highly recommend this dentist.

Positive experience: My appointment was on time. The doctor was polite and caring. He explained everything to me in detail. Procedure was carried out in an empathetic manner. Well done. However, I would have given 5 stars if 1. Hand over the patient record to the patient either as hard copy or soft copy at the end of the appointment with details of main complaints, discussion on procedure, reasons to carry out the one which was completed, any x-ray pictures, medications, post procedure precautions etc 2. Always book a follow up appointment before patient leaves your centre. 3. Extraction is easy and money making for the centre too. However all options on preserving the tooth should also be "honestly" discussed with the patient.

Fantastic experience: Had some teeth removed after an accident and denture fitted . Gav was absolutely brilliant as always not good at all at the dentist but reassuring professional and explains everything , and Gurpreet was really kind and attentive helped keep me calm during the whole procedure honestly I can’t recommend highly enough and thank you

Fantastic experience: I booked a private emergency dental appt and had my wisdom tooth removed. A huge thank you to Imran and his assistant (apologies forgot her name). Anyway, I am a bit of a girl when it comes to dentists and I was shocked at the thought of having a tooth removed but Imran was first class, he explained every step of the way what would happen, there was no pain and it was all over quickly.

Fantastic experience: I made an emergency appointment here after been recommended by a friend. From the minute Emma( excellent customer service) picked up the phone I'd got an appointment the same day. On arriving I was greeted by a host of lovely girls ,taking the edge off my nerves. I was taken by Jag to the surgery and was greeted by one of the nicest young dentist called Shyam Patel. He listened to all I had to say ( really listened) came up with a plan which was kind on the finances and I just felt comfortable about the whole process.Shyam and Jag make a wonderful working team. The treatment was done with such care and proffessionalism I can honestly say the whole experience left me with one less tooth in my mouth but in good spirits. I'd travelled 40 minutes to get there but have now joined the practice as a patient permenantly . Thank you to all you lovely people with a special thank you to Shyam and Jag ( who may need 1p minutes in a quiet space) after I left.

Fantastic experience: I had an impacted wisdom tooth (LR8). I was on NHS waiting list for extraction for past 8 months. I saw Scott arms dental on facebook and read that they can help me with extraction. I did went to other surgeries in my area but they refused to extract and told that it is NHS level job. At Scott Arms I met Dr. SHAYAM PATEL, he had the X-ray done same day and scheduled the extraction according to my timetable.Throughout my treatment he was really helpfull. He extracted my tooth with percision in one piece. Eventhough the tooth was stuck deep inside my jaw bone, the roots were curved soo immensely that it looked like a nighmare. Dr Shayam Patel did the extraction with soo much precision and he was very carefull through out the extraction. I would really like to thank you Dr. Shayam so doing such a great work and finally relieving me out of the pain and discomfort i had due to the impacted LR8 tooth. Scott Arms is really a very nice dental practice. After my treatment all medicines and antibiotics were provided by the surgery. They even gave me 2 follow up appointments to check the healing process with out charge. Overall the price of procedure was very reasonable. I highly recommend Scott Arms dental practice.

Fantastic experience: I live 40 mins from this practice yet was faced with an agonising dental abscess (facial swelling making me look like a hamster too) on Friday evening and no options of nearer appointments. I phoned your practice and was booked in early Saturday morning (I had the option of a late appointment on Friday but due to my son being asleep, I decided to opt for Saturday morning.) I arrived early, and was seen early. I was feeling grim, in pain, scared, and hadn't had much sleep. Sham (sorry if I've spelt that incorrectly) was so chilled and calming, he explained everything, and although it did hurt when lanced because it was so swollen anaesthetic wouldn't take effect, I was in and out very quickly with antibiotics. Reasonably priced too for a weekend appointment. Thank you, without your help I would've been in agony all weekend. I'll see my own dentist today and work out the next plan, but you provide a brilliant service. Thank you! Sham did make me laugh when he asked me if I was doing anything nice over the weekend. I think the abscess put a stop go that

Fantastic experience: Went in with mind numbing toothache, came out with one less tooth, and no toothache. Costs explained upfront. Service was very very good. Haven’t used this practice before due to distance from home, but they offered emergency service. Very pleased and thank you.

Fantastic experience: I cannot praise Deborah Hurst enough. She was extremely professional, kind and friendly and immediately put me at ease. At every point she informed me about what she was doing and why and I felt that she genuinely cared. My 14-year-old was experiencing a toothache, and they quickly booked us in for an emergency appointment without any hassle. Dr. Jay Sasdev was fantastic with my son, especially since it was his first time getting a filling. My son came out saying how amazing Dr. Jay was because he didn't feel a thing! Fantastic experience: I scheduled an appointment for a wisdom teeth scan as I was experiencing some discomfort. Vijay and Lara kindly informed me that the pain was attributed to the eruption of my wisdom tooth. They reassured me about the good condition of my teeth and advised me to revisit if any further pain persisted. I would like to express my sincere gratitude for their professional guidance and assistance.

Positive experience: Brilliant dental services. Efficient reliable online and phone booking service. Dr David is efficient, on point, and very kind. He explained to me in detail what's happening with my teeth rather than just getting to work and leaving me wondering. He also plays good music while I'm on the dentists recliner. It isn't cheap, as you might expect from a private dental practice, but what I've had done I haven't regretted. The waiting areas are spacious, clean and adequately comfy. There's a nice fish tank in the main one. The dental nurses are all very well presented and mostly do what's expected of them very well, I believe. There are many parking spaces outside, but even those can be full. Nearby, there are more spaces. I'm not familiar with the pricing in other clinics so won't comment on that in comparison.

Fantastic experience: I must say myself and my niece are ever so grateful to the staff at the Scott Arms Dental Practice for booking us in right away. The ladies at reception were very welcoming. My niece was in need of an extraction in which she was seen by Dr Pav, he did the necessary checks and referred us to Dr Imran having explained that the extraction would be a little complicating. Dr Imran and Adila were amazing from start to finish and extremely patient given that my niece was very nervous. They are very professional in what they do and explained the whole procedure thoroughly, by far the best dentists we've seen. Thank you guys for all your effort

Never been before but was in so much pain so I booked an emergency appointment and couldn’t wait to see my own dentist, the guy unfortunately didn’t get his name, was amazing! Best £170 I ever spent in my life, took me out of pain and feel like a normal person again, if it wasn’t so far from where I live I would come back and make it my own dentist.

Fantastic experience: I contacted 111 and was immediately referred to a dentist. On the same day, an appointment was set and the tooth extraction was successfully performed. The service was prompt and excellent, and the pain was completely relieved. I give them five stars for their outstanding excellent service .

Fantastic experience: I’ve had a bad experience with my old dentist, cracked my wisdom tooth open and I was scheduled in in two weeks, obviously pain was unbearable, I accidentally overdosed on painkillers due to it, and one of the doctors at the hospital recommended me Scott Arms Dentist, I’m a single mom in education and a business owner so being my 100% self was really important. I called the Scott Arms Dentist at 9pm and got a appointment next day at 9:00am and was out by 9:30am, overall had a xray done, numbing and removal, price was definitely worth the relief and the amazing service I received, Adam was god sent and so were the ladies that helped too, made me feel so welcomed and accepted as I looked like an absolute mess dealing with the overdose and the pain, I actually felt like crying when it was all done as my old dentist was rude and wouldn’t listen to me, but the Scott Arms Team went above and beyond for me and I thank you guys so much for this!! Couldn’t recommend this place more❤️

Fantastic experience: The reception team were very welcoming and friendly. The waiting room was nice and spacious and it was so easy to book an urgent appointment. I had an appointment with Tanay Kulkarni. He was so friendly, gentle and extremely thorough. I had to have a tooth removed and following a detailed discussion, decided to plan for a bridge. He was very informative and allowed plenty of time for my questions. The appointment was thorough and he was so professional. His assistant was lovely as well. I cannot recommend him and the clinic enough!

Fantastic experience: I have visited this dentist for emergency appointments for years now and I can honestly say they are the best I’ve been to, I had a wisdom tooth out yesterday, and I’ve never had such a quick and easy procedure done, the dentist that knew exactly what they were doing, I didn’t even realise he’d taken it out, so experienced! I’ve had three different dentists there and everyone of them has been amazing and know what they are doing, anyone nervous at a dentist I would recommend you go to Scott Arms Dentist! Negative experience: I have been a long-time patient of Scotts Arms and have always had positive experiences—until my most recent visit. Recently, I called in regarding discomfort in my back tooth and was given an appointment for 9 PM after initially specifying my need for a late appointment. I was seen by a dentist named Mandeep, who was incredibly rude and unprofessional during our interaction. Despite not requesting an emergency appointment, Mandeep insisted I needed two fillings but could only provide temporary solutions. When I expressed my confusion, he laughed and said, “Who do you think is going to give you a normal appointment at 9 PM?” This comment made me feel belittled, and he seemed indifferent to my concerns. When I spoke with the reception staff afterwards, they mentioned that stating I was in pain automatically classified my visit as an emergency. I don't agree with this policy, as I simply voiced my need for an appointment, the same way I would for a doctor's visit. While the reception staff and Mandeep's assistant were helpful, Mandeep's dismissive attitude was unacceptable. Patients deserve to be treated with respect and understanding, and I hope he can improve his communication style in the future. Overall, my experience today was very disappointing, and I hope the clinic addresses this issue moving forward.
