Fantastic experience: Mr Cavanagh removed a molar tooth of mine on Tuesday. I can honestly say that when he told me to sit up and go home I was flabbergasted. I never felt a thing other than the two injections that numbed the gum. I will definitely not panic if I have to have another tooth removed.

Fantastic experience: Had to have quite a bit of dental work done, multiple extractions and have a temporary top and bottom plate fitted the same day. The appointment was bang on time (as usual) and the dentist fully discussed options and explained both before and during the procedure exactly what was happening. Great practice with fantastic dentists and dental staff, admittedly no one enjoys a trip the dentist but having said that I cannot recommend this practice highly enough!!!

Positive experience: Adrianna is a kind and compassionate dentist, I am really appreciative of having her. The dentist building is pleasant, with a nice cool air. They have a free car park (limited space) and a toilet inside too. I like that they offer a range of services such as hygienist and whitening too. For the most part the receptionists are very helpful and answer the phones fairly swiftly.

Positive experience: Staff are efficient and my dentist/hygienist are excellent. I would have given 4 stars but I don’t agree with the practice policy of paying for treatment in full in advance when it won’t be completed for 2 months.

Demand for appointments is very high so we follow this policy to prevent failure to attend. Fantastic experience: Excellent I am a new patient and attended an emergency appointment following a recent wisdom tooth infection. I saw Dirk who was lovely, examined me and gave me the option to have the tooth removed then and there. I was very nervous but him and his assistant put me at ease, made sure I was comfortable the whole time, explained what he was doing and took his time and made sure I was not in pain at any point. All in all was there for 25mins from examination to the end of extraction. Everyone there was so friendly and I felt very welcomed. I would recommend this dentist to anyone especially those who might be a bit nervous about seeing the dentist or having an extraction.

Positive experience: I was treated exceptionally well by my dentist JJ, who could not be more polite or helpful and would have given five stars if not for the fact that due to inaccurate billing by the surgery I apparently left owing £27. This after having already paid over £800 as requested. I have since been hounded by the team for this small amount. First by email, then by calls to both my mobile and home phone. When I advised I would then pop in later in the week I was told this would be okay. Imagine my dismay when two calls to both phones and then a text arrived the next day. This seems excessive when not even one day had passed! Sorry Damira not great customer service

Fantastic experience: Outstanding. I had a new dentist today and she was professional, welcoming and thoughtful to my disability. She went to so much trouble to make myself and my husband/carer feel comfortable. She took the time to read my medical history which is really important in my circumstances. All procedures were explained thoroughly. My anxiety was lessened as a result. Went away very happy.

Fantastic experience: I had broken a tooth. Roots still in the Gum. We agreed that the root would be extracted after and x ray was taken. An impression would be taken at the next visit. 2 further visits arranged. All good.

Positive experience: I arranged an emergency appointment as I had a painful tooth. It was quick to arrange and not too long to wait. The dentist took an X-ray and applied some desensitiser to my tooth I was advised to buy a particular toothpaste and use it to rub around my sore tooth. None of this has worked, I still have toothache and am now hoping I can put up with it for the next 4 weeks until my regular appointment is due. Not really satisfactory.

Fantastic experience: Covid Safe, efficient, very helpful and good advice/service. I was fortunate in not having to wait for an urgent rebuilding of a brokentooth. Timely and very good service. Thank you so much. Also immediately solved a problem with a temporary plate. I now have the replacement plate and it fits very well.

Negative experience: For the first time in my life I needed an emergency dental appointment. I’m retired and a NHS patient. I was made to pay £60 to book a private appointment and even though there were appointments they were only for private patients. It’s a sorry state of affairs

Fantastic experience: Just joined this practice as an NHS patient, and had my first checkup yesterday. Was pleasantly surprised by it to be honest. The reception was large, clean, friendly and welcoming. The dentist, Omar Karkoukli was thorough, explained everything and I felt very confident in him. So happy I moved, so thank you. Update, May 25, been for my second checkup, all is great still. Only crib is having to fill out the medical form each time from scratch.

After visiting a few months back, an anxious mess after pregnancy had ruined my oral health, he was so welcoming & friendly & immediately put my mind at ease. I returned yesterday to have 2 fillings, but he also fixed a 3rd for me. He was continuously confirming I was ok, talked to me throughout & honestly, just made me feel so comfortable. Fantastic experience: Well he we have a 65 year old guy that absolutely scared stiff of the dentist, but my visit for me to say this is incredibly my dentist was fantastic I had a full clean plus a tooth removed and I can say is I never felt a thing and if all my appointments are like this well I hope to loose my fear of dentist

Positive experience: Have been using this practice for well, well over 40years, I think that says it all. What I do disagree with is now being asked to pay 'up front' for future treatment before you make the appointment. The cost of treatment is definitely not cheap and personally as a pensioner, and a patient for that long,a bit of time should be given to pay. What with every other bill that's going up this really feels like a 'kick in the teeth '

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and professional team, was looked after well. Very thorough in explaining risks to not having the surgery, and those with having it. I felt well at ease with no pressure to commit to it. Really pleased with my treatment and the professionalism of the team. Fantastic experience: I am very lucky. The dentist assigned to me for NHS check ups, Jaspreet Anand, is very knowledgeable and picked up on a condition that should be remedied or discussed years ago or shortly after childbirth. The discussion encouraged me to a broader reflection on my lifestyle and what my body needed at the time, while Jaspreet organised an NHS solution that wasn't costly but of which noone ever talked or offered before. Receptionists are polite and efficient. Parking free or almost free, if there's no space, cheap parking is accessible further along. I am grateful.

Negative experience: My kids haven't had an appointment for almost 2 years as they continuely cancel them. Likewise also took them off the NHS register as they hadn't had an appointment. Blow me today mines been cancelled on the day of the appointment, took a half day for this. Pretty sure as a customer u get charged if you cancel on the day

Fantastic experience: It was my first visit to the practice, everyone was very polite, sadly the WiFi was down but the reception team were very apologetic and apart from the xray machine not working it didn't really affect me. I am very happy I switched dental practices. Dirk, the dentist was very kind and gentle whilst inspecting my teeth, he tried to take xrays but the WiFi was on and off, he persevered to no avail. Very happy with Damira.!

Positive experience: I've been going to this dental practice for many years now. And have always had a good experience. However what i don't agree with is why i have to fill out a form every time i have an upcoming appointment. You have my details on the system so why keep doing this. I do find this very irritating and feel there is no reason to keep doing it for every appointment i have.

Positive experience: I had an emergency appointment for pain in my gums as per multiple teeth pulled for implants. I also had pain in the back because of an extraction and asked to check this. The dentist refused and said it was only an emergency appointment. I paid £60, was in there for 5 minutes and the dentist committed to do the bear minimum. Absolutely ridiculous!

Fantastic experience: Having given up my dentist of nearly 40years due to distance I wondered how I would feel starting again at Damira but I was nothing but delighted. Negative experience: Would not recommend. Had a hygienist appointment and the hygienist didn't have an assistant, so she had to prop the suction tube onto my lip. It kept slipping and I had sprays of saliva all over my face and the glasses she gave me to wear. I was disgusted at how unhygienic this was. I asked her why she didn't have an assistant and she said that Damira don't provide one. She works externally and is not part of the practice. I was mortified the risk of infection is very high doing this. I will never go back to Damira, they earn plenty of money so they could easily afford on site dental assistants. Disgraceful service. I am fuming.....

Fantastic experience: I don't have a bad word to say about Damira Wellum and from the minute you walk in the door you are welcomed by the lovely ladies on the reception desk and then seen by my friendly and professional dentists and dental nurse. In this day in ages I am grateful to have a NHS dentist and this was another positive appointment and due to having Autism and other conditions I struggle going out, but I never worry about coming here for my appointments. They are still the great dentists that I have been going to on and off since the early 80s. Can't recommend them enough.
