Fantastic experience: My family had a good experience at this clinic and we are happy with service. Receptionist are very welcoming. The Dentist ( Dr Mahmood) was very gentle and calm to my children especially to my son who has done three sessions of teeth extractions. Thank you so much bridge st dental team.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr. Assem at Bridge Street Dental for a wisdom tooth removal that was causing me a lot of pain and discomfort, and I just want to say thank you to him and his assistant at how quickly and professionally they got me out of pain. He explained to me all about the cost, the procedure and all the dos and don’t after the surgical removal. It was such a relief to be pain free and he is one of the most professional I have been to, he has explained to me about my other wisdom teeth needing removed along with next steps. Just want to say thank you again to him and his team and also the receptionists for getting me seen so quickly. Brilliant customer service

Negative experience: This dental practice DOES NOT offer emergency services. I called at 5pm on Sunday and the receptionist said there was no dentist available for today. From the reviews before you can tell the receptionist is dreadful. The receptionist is extremely unhelpful and has absolutely no clue about any dental emergencies, I called 5 days post wisdom teeth extraction surgery and I was in extreme pain and agony and none of the pain killers had controlled my pain, which is NOT normal unless dry socket is suspected. I told her all of that and my other symptoms, that I have took many pain killers yet nothing is controlling it, and that i cannot see a blod clot but an empty socket with bone instead and have radiating pain, and that it has gotten much worse now which are all signs of dry socket. All she said was “give it an extra day of taking more pain killers and see how you feel tomorrow” even though i told her the pain killers are not controlling my pain and i had took ALOT already. If I had 0 medical knowledge and took more pain killers and overdosed, will the dental practice take responsibility? Luckily i’m a senior student Doctor so I didn’t follow her advice. But what if the patient was clueless? an elderly? or just someone unaware of the dangers of taking more painkillers? She was like i can book you in for 5pm on Monday. Not even early in the morning? What type of next day emergency appointment is this? Absolute disgrace to all other dental practices. I could have made a lawsuit of this phone call I just had but I will just be leaving this practice instead. When patients come to you at their worst state, complaining to you they are in a lot of pain, the least they deserve is compassion and understanding. Please educate your receptionist and inform them to NOT give any medical advice if they are not qualified and have no medical license. Honestly the phone call left me in tears because I thought I can get help. I will not be returning. AVOID THIS DENTAL PRACTICE AT ALL COSTS.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist I've seen. I had to have a mollar out and they were really good. I suffer from a panic disorder (should have told them but it's quite personal), Between the dentist and his assistant, they did a huge job in keeping me calm even without knowledge of my panic attacks. Ended up with three roots rather than two so the dentist had a bit of work to do. He did it though, and without any pain. Between the dentist and the dental nurse, I couldn't recommend them more.

But I had a terrible experiences as child and truly terrified of going to the dentist BUT I got an abscess and had rotten teeth the pain was too much so here it took me , And despite my crippling anxiety I found it to an positive experience and I am going back to get four more extractions which this time last week I thought would be impossible (20 years since I'd been to a dentist!!! ) Bridge Street Dental Practice is brilliant thanks hope this helps others to get the courage to go

She out him at ease John had his follow up appointment on 31Oct with Alisha to have his tooth removed. She was excellent she put John at ease and everything went well given a follow up leaflet. Another visit for John everything went well going back next week for clean and polish.vlean and polish all good Next appointment in October. Hygienist was good

Negative experience: Disappointing and discriminatory experience. I went to this clinic for a cavity and tooth pain. A senior doctor, who seemed to be East Asian, didn’t explain things properly or even clean the tooth. He just gave a painkiller and said I needed a root canal at their clinic with a specialist. Right after, he told to the receptionist not to give us any appointment. The receptionist repeated the same excuse and told us to just call later. It felt very unprofessional and discriminatory. If they only want to treat certain people, they should say so on their website or at the entrance we dont treat other nationals. I will not go back and don’t recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Wow had a filling that was close to neves but was pain free even the injection to numb the areas were my filling was going to be inserted and they were so good I felt no pain from the needle it's self they were so professional and careful as not to cause me any pain and they did just that no pain at all 10 out of 10 from me

Negative experience: Got told I needed an extraction when looking for a denture. They did the extraction which took alot longer than another extraction I had. I felt alot of pain at the initial injection but this did not leave. The area was number apart from a sharp stabbing pain in the jaw. 20 mins to extract the tooth. Was in severe pain and called to get emergency appointment. Was given prescription for anti inflammatory. Then charged 16.50, a few days later pain hasn't subsided called again, tbey tried to get me to wait 4 days until my dentist was back. When I said I was in severe pain they came back to offer an appointment, in 10 mins time. Saw someone who said they couldn't give me anything else than the anti inflammatory. Said about severe pain and they recommended paracetamol. Got another £16.50 charge for them doing nothing. 9 days later and still in severe pain and can't eat / drink properly. Will not be getting any further treatment here. They were very quick to make faces about the surgery I was with previously however i atleast trust that surgery more and had same treatment with no ill effect. Avoid them

Negative experience: Feel that they not intreasted in nhs patients. Turned up in pain. Left in pain. With no real answer how to get rid of the pain. I understand they can't work magic. But not really helpfull. Last time there was humiliated by dentist shouting at me practically. Because forgot had been told they couldn't keep fixing crown. My partial dentures don't fit right. Told basically I need to pay for new. Just completely at loss with it. Wish I looked after my teeth so I didn't need to be treated like I'm some sort of idiot by people that supposed to help

Fantastic experience: I had a lovely and positive experience at the Bridge St Aesthetic and this is from someone that is extremely wary of dentist/dental work after a few previous bad experiences! It began with the extremely helpful and patient reception staff who straight away put me at ease! Then the dentist was the cherry on the top! Professional, precise and concise and extremely knowledgeable in dentistry! I would recommend Bridge St especially if you are a nervous/ scared patient you shall be in extremely competent/ experienced hands!

Negative experience: This is the worst dental clinic in Aberdeen. I’ve been with them for a good few years despite all the problems they’ve caused I unfortunately still stayed with them because of how local they are. There receptionists are absolutely dreadful - it’s like they can’t be bothered to do their job and are so unhelpful. They can never book me appointments which are suitable to my timings there’s no sense of compromising and everything has to be done by there timings only. One time one of them booked me for an appointment which was necessary for my orthodontic treatment however my dentist wasn’t even aware of it on her schedule and I was waiting for over an hour just for my name to finally get called. I got charged a £15 late fee all because I was 1 minute away from the clinic - I messaged and told them I might be running late but I’m going to make it I just wanted to tell you guys that I’m still going to be here but I was too late apparently. They never seem to receive any letters from my orthodontist which is strange because they should. A letter got sent in the name of my old dentist in the clinic (I asked for a new dentist because my old one made my dental anxiety worse) which was meant to be for extractions and filling for my braces however no one at the reception bothered to update my orthodontist about the change even though they assured they would which delayed a huge amount of time from me getting my orthodontic treatment on time. There NHS polish and scale is horrendous, the lady done it in 5 minutes and I didn’t even get a polish. My main dentist didn’t do this it was another lady covering for her (my dentist and her assistant nurse were lovely people and helped with my anxiety). Apparently they don’t offer polish and scale under 18s (I’m 17) so I had to ask my orthodontist to send a letter then I was able to do it otherwise I wouldn’t have been able too - the letter took weeks for them to receive as per usual. I’m sure if I said can I get it done privately my age wouldn’t of mattered and they’d go ahead and do it without a letter. Not sure why they done that because anyone else would’ve allowed it. They always put pressure to do private treatments when their prices are day light robbery. It’s like they don’t like NHS patients and hate to do their job properly. Not sure how they have all these good reviews they must be from the private patients because they clearly treat them with respect than the NHS ones. So happy to have finally moved on and upgraded to a better dental clinic because I’d 100% avoid this one at all costs and regret not moving sooner.

Fantastic experience: Had many dentist’s in Scotland and abroad and this is by far the best practice I have ever visited, from reception all the way to the operating room, the staff are all very welcoming and knowledgeable with all options discussed to fit your needs, would highly recommend to anyone needing a dentist in Aberdeen, whether you live here or moving to the city in the future. 10/10. This is still applicable now in 2025. A+++

Fantastic experience: I was referred to this clinic by my dentist for the surgical extraction of my impacted wisdom tooth. I had a consultation with Dr. Assem, who explained the whole process thoroughly and addressed any concerns I had which really put me at ease as an anxious patient. Dr. Assem skilfully removed 2 teeth and was so gentle during the surgery, it went smoothly and a lot quicker than I had anticipated! He and Madiha were a pleasure to interact with and were both friendly and reassuring during the whole process, I couldn’t recommend them enough! I was given excellent post surgery instructions to follow and my extraction sites have healed really well. I will also add that the cost for my treatment was communicated clearly and ahead of my appointment. I am overall really satisfied with my experience. Many thanks to Dr. Assem and Madiha!

Negative experience: Poorly organised, clear as day. Shall go elsewhere. (Edit for clarity) I arrived early was happy to wait. After waiting 20-30 mins after my appointment time I chose to leave as I had expected to be finished by then. They had to come over and clarify my name as they had issue where they had confused guests. The reply they have left clearly attempts to make me out as inpatient opposed to unwilling to have my time wasted.

Negative experience: Not impressed with this Dental Practice. As a new patient there was no mention from the receptionist that any forms needed to be filled out, while sat waiting to be seen a txt msg arrived on my phone with a link to register which I did (should have been before the appointment), once my name was called by the Doctor there was no friendliness of 'good morning' etc, once in the consultation room and in the seat I then had to offer my Dental history as I wasn't asked for and the reason I was there and I was then told "as you've chosen not to register today you'll be charged £65 for my examination ..........." erm I have come as a new patient and have registered, his mood then changed to a more negative one once he realised he wasn't getting the £65 and then without telling me he went on to Xray both sides of my mouth which later I was charged for, I'll never return to this Practice!

Negative experience: Despicable dentist, AVOID. Scheduling appointments that cannot be kept is seemingly a common practice for this place. I witnessed a woman being told while waiting for her appointment that actually her dentist wasn't even in the building. My dentist then proceeded to botch a wisdom tooth extraction with no fallback plan except to refer me to the hospital and leave me to suffer in the meantime. I felt forced to make a private surgical extraction appointment with them, which I have had cancelled with barely 24 hours notice. The reception appearing to dodge my calls when I immediately called in as a response to the text I was sent. The pain, discomfort and upset these people have caused me is significant and putting your teeth in the care of them is moronic.

Fantastic experience: I had my root canal done in a go. It was super easy and really professional doctor I have ever seen in my life. Dr. Ahsan Najmudin is great surgeon and I didn’t feel anything bad before, during and after root canal. Staff was nice as well but doctor made my day and I am truly grateful to him for the treatment and advice. During the treatment he held everything really smoothly and I felt like nothing is happening at all. Again thanks to doctor and Bridge street dental. Highly recommended !!

Fantastic experience: I have been attending this surgery as an NHS patient for a number of years now and it's the best dental surgery I've ever been to. Whether it be a routine checkup or an emergency repair, the duty of care is second to none. I'm not the bravest of patients but I have complete faith in the abilities of all the dentists I have seen in this practice and I have no intention of going elsewhere.

Negative experience: Not a trustworthy dentist. I am now registering elsewhere for myself and my daughter. Strong culture around making as much money out of you as possible and bad customer service. I was wrongly charged for my dental care and still awaiting for the refund they agreed to give me. I asked for a copy of their complaint procedure 3 times and each time I was told to just send an email. The first email was not responded to. The second time I sent it my response included agreeing to give me a refund (this was in September 2024 and still no refund given). Overall I was not happy with the response I was given and I asked to escalate it. I was ignored. Then when I chased this up, I was told by the receptionist I could put a formal complaint in, even though I made it clear all along my complaint was formal! Anyway, I am escalating this dentist to SPCO and would advise anyone to stay away from this clinic. UPDATE: Refund given in Feb 2025.

Negative experience: I don’t recommend this place. One of the receptionists was unhelpful and indifferent. She treated me as if I were a nuisance. I paid £195 for a diagnosis but I didn’t receive any treatment. The dentist simply referred me to another clinic. Even as a private patient I don’t think the price was reasonable since no treatment was provided.

I had work commitments the following week so they performed this on a Saturday night to accommodate this.The Dentist explained each step of the procedure through out the process. This was great as I’d never had a tooth removed before so was unsure of what to expect. It was a much more relaxed experience than I was expecting. Highly recommend!

The dentist that attend to me did very well and really happy about it. But I don't know concerning the charges for the appointment which I paid after everything, I thought examination was free
