Negative experience: Very disappointed with the rude and unwelcoming receptionist. After PAYING for a service, I was made to feel like a burden. One staff member in particular a Black woman with glasses was especially dismissive. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and will drive customers away. Management needs to seriously reconsider who’s at the front desk.Seems like a handful of people have had the same experience according to the reviews but nothing is being done.

Negative experience: Terrible experience. I had an appointment at 4:00 PM and arrived exactly on time. I had to wait in line just to check in at reception, and nobody seemed to be in a hurry to help. Even by 4:30, I still hadn’t been seen. I overheard other people saying they also had a 4:00 appointment, which made me realize they were overbooking or simply not managing their schedule properly. After waiting and seeing no clear sign of when (or if) I would be called, I decided to leave. Very disappointing and unprofessional. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone.

Negative experience: The receptionist is SO rude, unprofessional and unhelpful! She’s got the same b-energy as a NHS doctors receptionist! Honestly, whatever is stuck up her needs to be removed. She really shouldn’t be working a customer facing role. I’m moving my treatment simply because of her, as it’s disrespectful to be treated that way by front of house staff . The dentist, nurses and staff behind dragon lady at front desk are so nice, friendly and polite - how did they recruit dragon lady at front?!?!

Positive experience: I’ve been a patient at this clinic since 2020 for braces treatment and have always received excellent care from the dental team—everyone has been kind, professional, and genuinely caring. Paula and the rest of the doctors, in particular, have always been fantastic. However, my recent experience with the receptionist has been extremely disappointing. On two separate occasions, I was met with an unhelpful attitude, lack of courtesy, and unprofessional behavior, including poor facial expressions and a rude tone. I had questions about the price change (it used to be £70), especially since I had already paid a £20 deposit. Instead of clearly explaining the updated fees, the receptionist simply told me I had to pay £65 extra for the consultation in a very dismissive way, which was both confusing and frustrating. It felt like I was being treated as an inconvenience rather than a valued patient. Front desk staff are the first point of contact and set the tone for the entire visit—unfortunately, that experience was completely lacking in respect or helpfulness. If prices have changed, patients should be properly informed ahead of time—not surprised at the desk. I truly hope this issue is taken seriously, because patients deserve better communication and treatment from all members of the team.

Negative experience: 0 stars if possible. If you're prepared to deal with an extremely unprofessional and inconsistent staff, this is the place for you. They lure customers in with seemingly unbeatable offers, only to hike the prices later details buried in the fine print. Given the current cost of living, this feels especially unfair. This has been my worst experience with a dental clinic; the wait times are unacceptable, and it’s clear they prioritise profit over patient care. Cannot wait to be done with this evil company.

Positive experience: I’ve been coming to this clinic for my Invisalign treatment, and while there have been some positives, I feel it’s important to share both the good and the not-so-good parts of my experience. To start with, the reception service really needs improvement. The receptionist isn’t particularly friendly or welcoming, and that first point of contact can set the tone for your entire visit. It’s disappointing to be greeted with indifference when you’re coming in for something as personal and important as healthcare. Another frustrating issue is the waiting time. It’s rare that I’m seen at the scheduled time. For example, today I had an appointment at 3pm, arrived promptly, but wasn’t called in until 3:50pm. That’s nearly an hour late, which can be very stressful—especially when you’ve got other things planned for the day. If you’re coming here, I’d recommend bringing your patience and keeping your schedule flexible. I’ve been undergoing Invisalign treatment at this clinic under the care of Dr Krisztina, who only sees patients on the first Saturday of each month. At first, this wasn’t a problem for me—I was happy to adapt my schedule, as I trusted her expertise and appreciated the quality of care she provided during each visit. However, during one of my appointments, Dr Krisztina advised me to return in about ten days for a follow-up, as it was important to check the progress of a specific aligner. She explained that waiting a full month would not be ideal. Since she wouldn’t be available in that time frame, the idea was that I should book with another professional at the clinic. It all sounded quite straightforward—until I went to the reception. When I explained the situation to the receptionist, I was told there was no way to schedule this follow-up. I was advised to contact management instead. I followed the guidance: sent emails, WhatsApp messages—but got no solution. Despite multiple attempts, I was never able to book the appointment. It was incredibly frustrating and left me feeling unsupported and frankly, very disappointed. Because of this, I had no choice but to wait a full month to see Dr Krisztina again. I explained everything to her at the next visit, but now I can’t help but wonder—has this delay compromised my treatment ? I ended up wearing my last pair of aligners for nearly three months, and my teeth are still shifting. That’s worrying, especially when considering the investment Invisalign requires, both financially and emotionally. After all that, the least one expects is to feel looked after throughout the process. Now, on to the part that really made a difference — Dr Paula and Wura. I honestly can’t thank them enough. They were kind, professional, and incredibly empathetic. Dr Paula took the time to explain everything she was doing, step by step with transparency and calm confidence that really helped ease my anxiety. I shared my concerns about the movement of my teeth, and she took the time to listen and reassure me with care and honesty. I truly felt seen and supported. I also want to acknowledge Livia, who followed my case during a few of my appointments. She was always extremely polite, gentle, and professional. Her thoughtful manner and attention to detail made a difference, and I appreciated her presence each time she assisted in my care. To Paula,Wura and Livia — thank you for the professionalism and care. Your compassion and dedication genuinely stood out, and I hope the clinic recognises how valuable you are.

Negative experience: Very disappointed in how I’ve been handled here especially since I joined in 2019. Besides the long waits, after my braces were removed after 3 years I had issues with my permanent retainer (they placed) which caused my teeth to shift again. When booking a retainer review my appointments were cancelled without an explanation (I received an email cancellation) so I called to complain. I was told I would be called back and over 3 weeks later… nothing. I had to call again and get booked in again!!! By this time my teeth were shifting more! When I came to my appointment I wasn’t charged at the start of my appointment and wasn’t told the price of fixing my retainers. At the end of the appointment I was charged £90 for one broken retainer (one tooth gluing) and told I’d need to pay to get braces again to straighten out the problem that got bad during the time I was having with wait as well as extra removable retainers on top of the permanent ones (which they never suggested when I finished the treatment). None of my complaints have been addressed. I’m actually extremely disappointed and the new staff that are gathering in the reception do not seem welcoming at all except one young lady who I can acknowledge made an effort to show a smile at her job :) I just saw they replied and they are lying I was never told about a price for fixing my retainer and I also did not get a call back after requesting and answer to why my appointment was cancelled. Even the lady I spoke to on the phone who booked my appointment did not mention cost. Please send recording on the phone call if you have it. The cctv of me leaving the place and the receptionist following me out because she did not charge me at the start but was charging me a total at the end…. I wouldn’t have walked out after my appointment if I was told the price even during my appointment. Please look into this before telling me what you think happened.

We genuinely regret that your recent experience with our practice has left you feeling disappointed, especially as a returning patient who began treatment with us in 2019. We would like to clarify that your access to the online booking portal had previously been restricted due to several incorrect bookings. This decision was made to ensure smoother scheduling and minimize disruptions. You were informed at the time that any future appointments would need to be booked directly through the practice. Upon reviewing our call logs, we confirm that you contacted us on April 16th and were informed that a team member would return your call. This callback was made, and no further missed or unreturned call requests are noted in our system following that date. We also identified a subsequent call in which our receptionist discussed booking you in for a new patient consultation, as you expressed a desire to revisit treatment due to relapse. During this call, you were informed that there would be a charge should you decide to proceed with repairing your retainer. This information was again confirmed when you attended your appointment, where one of our clinicians replaced the retainer. However, we acknowledge your concern regarding the charge for the repair. While the pricing was discussed during the call and at the time of the visit, we sincerely apologise that the cost was not communicated more clearly prior to the procedure being carried out. Transparency is very important to us, and we will review our internal communication practices to ensure clarity for future patients. With regard to your experience at reception, we are sorry to hear that you felt some team members were not welcoming. When you visited, our receptionist did greet you, and the other individual present at the desk was a member of our administrative team performing non-reception duties. We regret if their role was unclear or if you felt overlooked, which was certainly not our intention. We also want to gently remind you that it is essential for patients to alert us as soon as possible if issues arise after treatment.
