Fantastic experience: Came in on the 4th July for a check up . Had the usual friendly banter which is always useful to put you at ease . I did need an ex ray which did worry me as I tend to gag! not any ones fault just me !. They had a novel way of taking my mind off it which seemed to work well . Thank you Quay Dental and Nichola once again for the check up , will see you in Sept for the small filling needed . Glenn

Fantastic experience: Barry is really helpful in trying for me to keep as many teeth as possible. No easy task. Reception is super friendly and I have never failed to get an emergency slot when needed.

Positive experience: Prompt service, but not entirely happy with my filling , nor the response I got when I called back to get it checked - will seek further advice out of area for a 2nd opinion I think

Fantastic experience: Great practice. Friendly helpful accommodating staff. Been under the same dentist (Mr Rowe) for years and wouldn't change a thing. Very good with children and always talks through with you first what he's going to do or what needs to be done etc. Would definitely recommend Quay Dental Practice

Fantastic experience: Visit to hygienist went smoothly and all was good. Would always recommend this dental practice as all staff are warm and friendly, even the most frightened patient is re-assured. They even take into account of any fears or phobias, always reassuring and making sure you are comfortable with the procedures.

I saw Sharon the hygienist today and again I received an excellent treatment, she listened to my concerns , both she and the nurse were very kind and professional. Sharon also managed to get mr Rowe to see me who kindly gave me his professional advice and recommendations and I was very reassured after my visit today . Positive experience: Everything you'd expect: receptionists, dental nurse and dentist all good, helpful and knowledgeable. Complete trust in Mr J Rowe. Had to wait 10 minutes, but that was no problem.

Fantastic experience: /A very friendly and professional dental practice. I have been a patient here since 2013 and have been delighted by the quality of excellent treatment from Nicola, a superb dentist, Sharon, an excellent hygienist and all the ancillary staff who are always extremely helpful. Highly recommended. Very convenient location with bus stops and car parking close by. Only downside is that reception and rooms are upstairs so not suitable for those unable to climb stairs.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Professor Pritchard via my dentist as my dentist could not locate my nerve as I needed root canal treatment. I can honestly say Professor Pritchard was very professional, friendly and explained all the procedure to me. After the work was done and the anaesthetic wore off I felt little or no pain at all which I am grateful for. He is such a good dentist and I can recommend 100% his dentistry to anyone Mrs Jennifer Bowden

Fantastic experience: I found Professor Pritchard very informative and reassuring and during the procedure very informative about what was happening at the time . All in all a very professional set up and a charming man .

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Quay Dental Practice as I had an infection in my gum that required root canal treatment by a specialist. I was welcomed at reception on 19-02-2025 with very cheery and helpful staff and I was passed through to Professor James Prichard, a "Happy Chappy" who was cheery and most helpful, who x-rayed, diagnosed the problem and treated the infection. I had another appointment booked by the cheery receptionist as a check up to see that the tooth had settled down on 4-06-2025 and received another x-ray to check that the infection had cleared. I was shown the x-rays before, during and after treatment by James which was very helpful and re-assuring. I would have no hesitation to use the practice again and I would recommend it to others who may be afraid of the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Have been with Quay Dental Practice for over 20 years and have recently changed dentist to Nicola Sampson. Had my first appointment with Nicola yesterday, very happy to be now with her, and feeling confident about the extensive course of treatment I shall shortly be embarking on. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Not been to a dentist for 10 years. Treatment etc. very good. My filling carried out without injection so yes I appreciate the skill of the dentist. Treatment is first rate Especially in my case where I hate going to dentist. Nicola you're an angel. Now been going for a number of years and dentist and hygienist great, as are the admin staff. Professional and friendly.

Fantastic experience: Excellent on all accounts. Wonderfully supportive of my anxiety and Parkinsons problems which put me at complete ease during the whole visit. Same again May 2015 - can't fault staff. All very professional. Pity we have to pay such vast bills, even with Denplan.

Positive experience: Great dentist, he care has always been good. I am giving 3 stars because i have been with them for over 25years. Very disappointed that the dentistis have in the practice is now going private! No local NHS dentist available and no waiting list available at the practice for any other dentist.

The experience starts at the very friendly reception team and carries on through the excellent dentists and dental nurses. Any one with fears about visiting a dentist will have all their concerns taken away at this practice.

Positive experience: It is always a good experience visiting Quay dental practice. Greeted by several receptionists on the way in who were cheery & professional. Peaceful & calm waiting room before appointment. Greeted by new hygenist Jessica Hockridge, who came out to introduce herself. Very friendly & reassuring on my walk to the treatment room. She and the assistant were supportive and advised on choices/opinions for good practise. On my way out, the receptionist who took my payment was distracted & I felt rude & abrupt. This isn't the first time as it was the same on the last visit. Shame as this was the last experience as I left the dentist.

Fantastic experience: I am a patient at the Quay Dental Practice and was amazed with the service today when I had toothache. They tried hard to get back to me when I left a message, booked me in for a same day appointment, got me in 15 ins early and got me out (minus a tooth) within 20 minutes with kindness, care and compassion.

Fantastic experience: This is a great practice and my dentist is very thorough and I trust him implicitly. However my concern is that when a dentist leaves they just strike you off their books as has happened with two of my adult children. They were re assigned to a new NHS dentist though when a new one was taken on but that was only for about a year maybe. The South West needs to massively improve on availability for NHS patients….and not just for the basic dental care as I’m hearing is going on at some practices!!

Fantastic experience: Brilliant service,lost half a tooth, rang the practice 0900hrs and got to see the dentist at 15.30. Tooth sorted. Highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Always excellent treatment and a very friendly welcome from our dentist Nicola Sampson. Nicola does everything she can to make you feel comfortable during treatment. She explains each step of the treatment and puts you at ease. An excellent dentist, so glad that she is our family dentist.
