Fantastic experience: Visited here for a tooth extraction the practice where very professional and talked me through the whole process and put me at ease during the procedure

Fantastic experience: I have never had a bad experience at this dentist, which I have been going to for a long time. I am always made to feel at ease and everything is explained to me. The staff are all very friendly and polite. I would recommend them to everyone.

Negative experience: Absolutely ruined my teeth. Came in for an extraction on the NHS which was brilliant so decided to get a scale and polish. What a disaster. I now have brown stains between all my front teeth and no matter how much I floss or brush they aren't going. It's been a year and I still can't get rid of them. Not happy at all. Would not recommend. Going to have to pay for someone professional to put them right again.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to this practice for a wisdom tooth removal and sedation, I was unsure as to why I was referred here as I had my other wisdom teeth removed in my local dentist surgery. It was explained to me that due to where the tooth is (near a nerve), also a previous extraction which bled persistently after and required stitches is the reason I had been referred, I am also extremely anxious in everyday life, not only when it comes to dental work. Dr Julian Hawkings was the dentist I seen, he explained everything thoroughly including any possible complications with the procedure and was keen to answer any questions I had at the consultation appointment and the day of extraction. I was very anxious on the day of the procedure as it was the first time having sedation and didn’t know fully what to expect as this was my first experience, however the procedure went smoothly, it only took 10 minutes altogether and that’s with getting sedated, having the tooth extracted, checking that there was no persistent bleeding and making sure I was safe to leave the surgery. The sedation helped relax me which I found very helpful & I couldn’t thank Dr Hawkings and his team enough, they were able to make me feel at ease, not only with the sedation but with the full professional explanations and also some humour. It was the quickest, most painless extraction procedure I’ve had… I’d love for Dr Hawkings to be my usual dentist (and I’m not a fan of change).

Fantastic experience: Petrified of the dentist as a child, avoided going for the best part of 20 years as soon as I was old enough too, found Queensway when I knew I needed dental attention and never looked back. Despite still having the anxiety around going every appointment I’m made to feel at ease, the staff are great with patients who struggle and the service is second to none. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Pathetic waste of time. Sends you all the way to meet them, spend more time in the waiting room. The meeting itself consists of results already seen only for them to say “we can’t do anything for you” why even bother calling yourself a service. Just a waste of time!

Fantastic experience: The service we received was outstanding. Dr. Matthew was highly professional, kind, and compassionate throughout the entire process. My daughter underwent a minor surgical procedure which, given its nature, would typically cause some discomfort. However, she experienced little to no pain and has been doing exceptionally well since. We are truly grateful for the excellent care provided.

Fantastic experience: I’ve always been nervous about visiting the dentist, but after receiving glowing recommendations about Sal, I decided to make an appointment. From the moment I arrived, Sal’s calm and reassuring manner put me at ease. He even played my favourite music to help take my mind off things. His skill and professionalism were clear right away, and the procedure was not only quick but entirely pain-free. The thoughtful follow-up care made me feel truly valued and well cared for as a patient.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic team! I have been seen by Dr Emily Carter and Dr Matthew Dorman, both excellent. I had been told I’d need all 4 wisdom teeth out by another private practice (which didn’t feel necessary as only the top 2 were causing pain), but was assured by Queensway that I just needed the top 2 out, which shows they won’t do unnecessary procedures. They are helpful for the right reasons. Lovely nursing team also, very chatty and the conscious sedation was amazing, no pain during the procedure or recovery. The reception team were also really easy to speak to. Can’t thank everyone enough!

She was quite nervous and apprehensive to begin with and the staff at Queensway were kind, considerate, polite and accommodating– such a great team! From the referral to the procedure, the experience has always been positive. All steps were spoken to in great depth and detail which helped us feeling more informed and at ease. Mrs G Leatherland was patient and understanding, and made me feel at ease about my situation. I would highly recommend Mrs G Leatherland to anyone, especially if you’re suffering with a gum problem, as at present I am know longer in pain with my front tooth after the exceptional cleaning, thoroughness, and attention Mrs G Leatherland gave to my teeth, gums, and especially my front tooth. Negative experience: Unfortunately I was looking forward to having several treatments here and had amazing experience with the orthodontist, was excited to start my treatment, but after I had to cancel a hygienist appointment, I was told I had missed it and demanded £90 from me, I explained there was confusion, and I had cancelled, attitude from the receptionist was awful, so I asked to cancel all my treatments and will use an alternative dentist, I think they are so busy they are not bothered about keeping business, I wouldn’t go back and give them a penny, we were going to move all our family here for treatment going forward, but unfortunately wouldn’t go again.

Fantastic experience: Great service by the Dr and the rest of the staff. At 39 years old this was my first procedure and I was very nervous about getting a wisdom tooth out. The Dr understood this and was reassuring throughout the whole process.

Dentist isn't the best place to be however the dentist I saw made me feel so comfortable and was honest regarding treatment available. The receptionist staff and other medical staff are so welcoming and lovely if I could give more the 5 Stars I would. Amazing staff and dentist all round.

Fantastic experience: Dr Tim Peach expertly carried out root canal work to three of my lower front teeth, assisted by dental nurse Brogan. This work was required due to a trauma injury and could not be carried out by my registered practice, due to the complexity. Dr Peach and Brogan were both excellent and are clearly highly skilled. I experienced no pain during either of the two appointments, or afterwards. The Queensway dental practice in Billingham were very efficient, helpful and professional and I obtained an appointment within a week. They checked on my wellbeing the day after each appointment and promptly answered all my questions. I thoroughly recommend Dr Tim Peach, dental nurse Brogan and the Queensway Dental Practice.

Fantastic experience: The staff at queensway dental are very friendly from reception to the dentists. The dental staff do everything possible to help with oral dental care. Gemma, Donna and Lauren are my regular contacts and each of them are very friendly and helpful.

Negative experience: Got 2 crowns installed along with several fillings and some other treatments. All treatments failed in less than 8 months and I shelled out almost £3000 for the pleasure. I have has good experiences here previously when I was under Dr Jane gosney, she is a wonderful dentist. But the dentist I had for my more recent work had little patience, was rude to me a very anxious patient and has basically ruined my teeth, I now require 2 surgical extractions and God knows how many regular extractions. I will be lucky if I don't lose all my teeth or die of an infection while trying to find a dentist to do the treatments, (I can't afford to go private again due to cost of living). I should add I am in my late 20s.

Fantastic experience: Wisdom tooth extraction- after years of pain with my wisdom tooth an abscess made removal essential. I was referred to Queensway oral surgery and got an appointment within the week. The team made the experience better than I imagined. Pain free, quick with a friendly team helping you through it.

Fantastic experience: I was seen promptly (within five minutes) and the dentist and nurse were friendly, helpful and professional with no pain whatsoever. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Negative experience: Grim and totally awful experience it's taken a full year to recover from. Unkind and sneery dentist with chronically ageist and rude attitude. Didn't stop her charging me megabucks for painful outcome. Got infection in drilled out root which she made worse by covering up with temp filling which then encouraged more infections. She stupidly said it had made the infection boil up! But charged me for the filling anyway, and the medication. Had to go back again and again for more infection control after she did the crown since she did not want to wait till infection had cleared. Said repeatedly that a root canal and crown should not hurt at all. It was hurting with the infection in any case and another dentist at another practice who explained nerve pathways and that some pain after root canal was normal for up to a year after. Of course it can hurt for a while so why lie to cover up that the infection introduced was causing more pain. She was just being unprofessional and didn't want to take any more time over this work since not much scope to charge more. At my last appointment with her she said it was my fault for living so long. Head office was sympathetic when they rang to do a quality check but both she and a colleague they arranged for me to see instead refused to take ownership of their poor work and abysmal communication.

Fantastic experience: I was in a lot of constant pain, with a very infected tooth and another tooth needing a filling under the gum line, when I came for an appointment with Tim Peach. I was coming from a roller coaster of poor dentistry and bad experiences with 5 dentists, both NHS and private, over the year. He listened to my story and looked and responded with knowledge, advice and truth. He gave me antibiotics, and 2 hourly painkillers. The pain cleared in 24 hours and at my next appointment I knew I was in expert hands. He accepted my decision to pull the large molar tooth out which was done perfectly from start to finish. We agreed to fill the other one, a wisdom tooth which was very tricky but done with finesse and no fuss. I am now recovering with no swelling or bruising or any unfortunate dentistry errors. I am so grateful for Tim Peach's expert help and patience. He was polite and professional and kind. I would definitely recommend this dentist as a really good one. And the dentist surgery is spacious and warm with lots of helpful receptionists. Also, there is a Costa almost opposite the surgery, and a library almost next door to it, if someone brings you and wants to wait somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: Dr Dorman was polite, explained the procedure that is required, explained the reason for the pain I was experiencing and we negotiated the procedure that is required in a timely manner that is sooner than I expected.

Fantastic experience: A very swift and efficient service. Considering I was a new patient, I was seen quickly for xrays and examination. The examination was thorough and pointed out my various options for treatment along with payment plans for each. The initial procedure was over before I realised it had started. Follow up procedures were easily booked in and after care seems to be great. I'll update as my procedures progress. My second appointment went great, a thorough descaling and polish and my teeth look so white. Can't believe the transformation. I'm currently paying as I go but there are various payment plans available to cover future appointments. Third appointment was for impressions for a denture, it was carried out relatively quickly and again the process was explained clearly. Payment made and next appointment made with no fuss. I had the final fitting of my denture plate which needed a few tweaks and resulted in a perfect fit. The new tooth has given me my smile back. You wouldn't even know which tooth had been replaced. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Received treatment a couple of months ago; composite veneers and composite bonding by Dr Sal Saddiqui. Would recommend his work to anyone, he gave great customer service of which he made me feel reassured and had given me advice on the treatment that would best suit me. I felt that I was a priority throughout the treatment process, with Dr Saddiqui being a perfectionist! Happy to say I am very pleased with the results and they are still looking great months later. Queensway were wonderful and I felt everything was made easy from start to finish. Queensway had not been my usual dentist although I will be returning ☺️.
