Fantastic experience: I had a hygiene appointment today with E.Dobson (sorry I forgot her first name) and she was one of the loveliest dentists I’ve met. She made me feel relaxed with her calm nature and there was no judgement, did an amazing job and gave me aftercare advice. I would 100% recommend. Thank you

Negative experience: Within 2 years this practice has gone from NHS to private first charging£16 per month to £20,for no added benefits, and now after paying for the past 3 months, they inform my wife, Sedgefield practice is closing down. Advising I can either go to Wynyard or Ferryhill, wonderful with no transport. I will be requesting the last 3 months subscription be returned. Disgusting

Fantastic experience: I visit this dentist every 3 months for dental treatment, all the staff are pleasant and sociable. Jackie on reception greets you warmly. Rebecca is a very capable and friendly dentist, totally relaxes you, keeps you update to what is happening during your consultation, and offers good advice. Professional service albeit it as a private patient.

I'd put off for ages due to a bad previous experience elsewhere, all staff were helpful and helped me feel at ease, regular check in phone calls after 1st emergency appointment when I left with medication only, seen very quickly both times. Only issue is struggling to afford the fees

Fantastic experience: Have been using this dentists for a number of years now and have always found all the staff to be courteous and polite and extremely professional. Unfortunately they no longer offer NHS dentistry but the private scheme they use is very good and reasonably priced.

Negative experience: Before on “NHS” you received proper mouthwash and a lovely flavoured polish!!! But now that you are pulling the money out basically it’s “tap water” and “no flavoured polish”!!!

If I am paying a hefty fee for your service I would expect to see a qualified dentist. The deal I signed up for was to see a dentist so would it be possible to reduce my payments? Fantastic experience: Fantastic service I was in so much pain, Jackie on reception is marvellous an asset to the team she was able to get me in the following afternoon with Rebecca who was kind very efficient and helpful explaining my treatment plan as well as the cost, I was being treated as a private patient. The only downside was I would have loved to have been treated as a NHS patient due to the cost but my dentist left the practice and as yet has not been replaced with a new NHS dentist.

Fantastic experience: Had a replacement filling today, only a bit of the old filling left so Natalie advised no gum numbing required. I was a bit apprehensive but all went smoothly and as promised no pain whatsoever. Friendly staff and nice clean treatment rooms.

Fantastic experience: My Invisalign experience with Sal has been superb from start to finish. I am not a fan of a visit to the dentist, however Invisalign and Sal have changed that for me. Sal was patient, very knowledgeable and explained everything that was going to happen before it happened, this helped put me at ease. There is no pain involved, and I now can smile again, without covering my mouth! This review can not be complete without also giving a mention to Fiona, Izzy and Debbie who have also helped me along my Invisalign journey. The treatment, care, expert advice and customer service has been the very best. Thank you
