Negative experience: Booked in Friday for a 9.50am app. Turned up said i was not booked in or even registered. Took a day off work for the appointment. I was on the system as well, said that I must have rang another dentist. I pulled up my call log and called the same number I had called 2 weeks before and their office rang. To add they said we have no more bookings for NHS patients just private customers..

Negative experience: Rang these today and told the girl I was a new patient she said I could have an appointment in 2 weeks time. I told her I thought I had an abcess. Her reply was " well I suggest you try another dentist in the area" or ring 111. Other reviews did say they were rude, they weren't joking.

Fantastic experience: I had a really bad experience at another dentist which put me off for life.....or until sensitivity and pain caused me to seek help. A friend advised me to go to this practice, and I wish I had come here years ago. Both dentists I saw for treatment appreciated my fear and I could not have asked for a better experience....put at ease and reassured every step of the way. The premises are spotless and welcoming ...as are all the staff. I won't be going anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient at this practice for around 3 years now along with my husband and 2 children . We have always found everyone very welcoming and never had a problem at all . The place always looks clean and waiting areas are comfortable. My husband needed an extraction after suffering with pain with his wisdom tooth over a weekend a while ago , I called for him an appointment and he was given one really quickly and was out of pain in no time ( bloody brilliant was his words ) . We have seen most of the dentists there over the years and find all of them very professional and informative and the nurses and reception ladies are always friendly and helpful ! I wouldn’t go anywhere else now and recommend this practice to all

Fantastic experience: No problems at all (apart from the upstairs waiting room, I would rather wait downstairs in the daylight)

Negative experience: I would not recommend this dentist at all one of the men that work there are so rude Made me feel so ashamed and intimidated, I needed emergency treatment recomened by him and he told me to go else where. I have been told by many people that I have lovely teeth I was only here due to a tooth that had partly fallen out and when he had a look he ask my age so I told him and he said that I was Disgraceful for leaving it for a while and then looked at his coleuge and started shaking his head. He also made my 6 year old cousin cry as she was scared to go to the dentist and when most professionals would try to make her feel better her just said if you want nice teeth you better start coming to the dentist so get use to it!!!! I have herd many people say bad things about this practise but never listened until today it is safe to say I will not be returning!!!!!!!!!

Negative experience: Would not recommend this dentist! They were extremely rude to my Gran. She only wanted her teeth checking and when she said she didn't want fillings the dentist said to her "well go and find another dentist im sure you will find one" he is always rude to my Gran for no reason. I would strongly recommend going to Oasis the other dentist in Shildon X
