Fantastic experience: I went to Ringway Dental after experiencing issues with a faulty implant done by another dentist. The team at Ringway has been incredibly understanding and supportive, taking the time to find a solution that works for me. They’ve made me feel very comfortable throughout the process. I’m currently in the healing phase after having the incorrect implant removed, and while it will take a few months to replace, my experience so far has been excellent. I highly recommend them!

Negative experience: Went for veneers after saving for a couple of years. The practice tried to get me to agree to 6 hygienist appointments before sorting the veneers, even though I explained I was on a budget. The hygienist wasn't even aware I was waiting for an appointment for veneers - I had to tell her. After the veneers, I was going to stay with them as I was pleased with the result, despite the miscommunication. But, after I went recently about a very painful tooth. I was told that the filling could wait 2 weeks until after my holiday, even though I was already at the practice with a scheduled appointment. I was totally shocked, especially as in the waiting room I heard that my dentist 'fitted someone in' for an appointment before me, and I went in late and she then declined to sort out the filling (I was taking co-codamol for the pain). I went elsewhere to sort the filling as I did not want it to spoil my holiday. I am disappointed with the service as I can't really afford private dental care, but I made the effort to go private to improve my dental health. However, my experience was that I was called in late to my appointment, rushed out early once, and fitted with a dental appliance like my grandma had 30 years ago, and charged £1600 total, as the first didn't fit at all well. I could have got a badly fitting one at my old dentist for a fraction of the cost. I tried my best to be positive & moderate in my expectations, but spending thousands of pounds that I took years to save and feeling upset after my appointment, I am going to take time looking for the next one. I will need to question them on small details and get specific pre-treatment information. The practice asked for my review.

We were really surprised to hear this, especially after your initial positive comments about the veneers. Your most recent appointment was specifically for a review of your completed cosmetic treatment. No filling was scheduled or paid for during this appointment as we were only made aware about it at this review. Our clinical recommendation was to book the filling for the following day, where we had the time needed to carry out the procedure. Unfortunately though, we received no instruction from yourself to book this slot. We’re sorry you felt like another patient was fitted in before your appointment. Any patient seen before your review was likely attending as an emergency patient, and would have called earlier in the day for a planned emergency appointment. From the beginning, we worked closely with you to balance your treatment goals with your budget. We understand the emotional and financial investment you made in your cosmetic care, and we were pleased to remake your initial appliance free of charge to improve the fit. As you’re aware, false removable teeth can be a temporary solution and typically require adjustments. Once fully healed, a more permanent option can be explored. As you know, your presenting problems did limit the range of treatment options available, and we were pleased to be able to explain the clinical reasons as to why this was before treatment began. We were genuinely surprised and saddened by this review, as no concerns were raised with us at the time – and we would have welcomed the opportunity to discuss and support you further. Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Ringway Dental for around 18 months now, after starting my composite bonding journey with Dr. Dodd. Dr. Dodd did an amazing job with my composite bonding, and what has really stood out to me is his commitment to delivering a high-end, personalised service. I’ve had a couple of very minor cracks in my composite over recent months and Dr Dodd has always been very quick to rectify this and make sure I’m happy with my smile. Their hygiene appointments are also excellent - the hygienists are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and always take the time to answer questions / offer advice. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff here and it’s this brilliant service that makes it worth the 1.5-hour drive I make for each appointment. Fantastic experience: I came to see Dr Andy Brown today for a repair to my composite veneer. Since I last had my composites done I have developed an acrylate allergy so was quite nervous about having a reaction to composite. I was put at ease straight away and he took the time to explain to me why I actually had a low risk of a reaction once the bonding has cured and that it was actually a really common allergy. This took all my stress and worry away and he did a fantastic job of matching my missing veneer up to my old ones, it’s obvious that he has a real attention to detail and took the time to make sure it was perfect and I was happy. Overall a really fantastic experience!

Dr Stephen Dodd took over the practice a few years ago and has now taken the practice to an even higher level than before. All of the staff (Dentists, dental nurses, hygenists and admin) are all very well versed in what their roles require of them. They reception staff always greet you with a smile and and make you feel welcome and treat you as a valued patient. The pricing structure of whatever treatment you require is always explained to you prior to treatment with no pressure applied to you to accept it. Personally I'd never go anywhere else, and thoroughly recommend Ringway Dental Practice. — Ian Hawkridge Ringway Dental is what all dental practices should aspire to be like.... Upon entering your first impression is of calmness and professionalism. The reception staff are friendly and always make you feel that you are a valued patient, and offer you a drink if you need one........When in the treatment rooms either the dentist or hygenist tell you exactly what procedures they want to carry out and how they intend to do them. This has a calming effect I would imagine on anyone of a nervous disposition. All treatment is carried out in a totally professional manner and to a very high standard, with numerous verbal checks as to how you're doing. After treatment you're always told how to go about your daily routine in a safe manner, depending of course upon which procedure has been carried out. Fantastic experience: I attended Ringway today for my final appointment as part of my treatment plan I started a year ago. I came to Ringway dental with a paralysing fear of dentists. And terrible gums to show for it. Since then I have attended every 3 months for hygienist appointments. Had a few fillings. Straightened my lower teeth with Invisalign, whitened my teeth, and finally composite veneers on 6 teeth. I couldn’t be happier. Dr Stephen did an amazing job and is so lovely. Fantastic experience: Had my initial appointment today, my first impression of the practice itself is very clean with a lovely waiting area. The receptionist was friendly and helpful and the waiting time was short, despite a full waiting room. The consultation itself (with Andrew) was thorough and professional, I was asked my thoughts on several points and felt I was listened to with great consideration. My follow up appointment was made immediately after my consult for tomorrow, the entire process from first enquiry to consult and booking follow up has been smooth and time efficient without compromising patient care, not something I've experienced with prior dentists. Very pleased I chose Ringway and if the service so far is anything to go by, I'm really looking forward to having my dental work with them!

Fantastic experience: I had a dental emergency and the clinic fit me in. The clinic it self, has a nice, cosy, ambient feel to it, it smelt gorgeous and less clinical like most dentists do. The staff also were friendly too. I saw Dr Stephen Dodd, who is the principal dentist. He was very professional, knowledgeable and also very reputable being all over instagram. I explained my issue, and he quickly and efficiently fixed one of my vaneers that ( I got done somewhere else) had got knocked off and chipped due to an accident I had. I was feeling apprehensive, if they could fix the issue and also if they would be able to match the colour to my already existing vaneers, and he did! I’m amazed and thrilled by the result! Fantastic experience: First appointment with Ringway dental and I am very impressed. Staff are professional, courteous, helpful, very knowledgeable and supportive. My dentist was very respectful, explained all my options and offered me choices. After my initial visit, a treatment co-ordinator followed up and made sure you are happy with everything and explains anything /everything again for you. Sitting in reception, you can hear just how courteous and empathetic the reception staff are when they are on incoming calls. Super impressed.

Fantastic experience: I called in to book a repair on a composite bonded tooth I had chipped. They booked me in for an emergency appointment the same morning and carried out the repair which looks great. Staff were as lovely and helpful as ever.

Fantastic experience: I was really nervous going to the dentist as I have not been for years as could not find an NHS dentist that would take me on. However, once I contacted ringway dental they instantly put me at ease, even just over the phone. On arrival the place is really clean, and the receptionist was really welcoming and polite. Once I seen the dentist he did a thorough check of my teeth and Xrays, they are very professional and made me feel comfortable. I'm looking forward to future treatments and would definitely recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: My most recent appointment was for my 6 monthly dental check-up, and also a dental hygienist session. The dentist, Claire, is always so welcoming and careful with her checks. Even though it is 6 months since my previous visit, it is as if she really recognises and knows my teeth and what we have looked out for before. Fantastic experience: Everyone who works at Ringway is really friendly and helpful. I’ve previously used them to complete cosmetic dentistry after an accident and I’m incredibly pleased with the results - not really an overstatement to say the outcome has been life changing for me! Fantastic experience: Claire is an outstanding dentist, professional, compassionate, and truly dedicated, often going above and beyond, even outside of working hours. Her care and attention makes every visit feel calm and stress-free. My daughter had a really traumatic dental experience in London that left her anxious and distressed, out of pocket and scared but Claire completely turned it around. She not only fixed the issue but gave her the perfect smile. Myself, my daughter, and now lots of her friends all go to Ringway and trust Claire and her team completely and wouldn’t go anywhere else.
