Fantastic experience: I'm a nervous patient. Haven't been in years. Gave me a dentest who was empathetic. Talked me through everything. Had a massive extraction. All good. Talked to me all the way through. Highly recommend Mr ali..car parking was awful.at my visit time. Calling the call centre wasn't great. Always on hold ages.

Positive experience: Overall I am happy with the services provided except current appointment. Although professional treatment is the responsibility of the clinic, unfortunately, the assigned lady insulted me, blaming me that I am cleaning my teeth because of free NHS services, if you are required to pay, you will never come to us. This non-professional behaviour really made me disappointed. Hope you follow up the issue with this lady, otherwise will reflect a bad image of clinic in the society.

Fantastic experience: My appointment was perfectly on time. The Dentist was as nice as ever; I’ve seen him regularly over a number of year and he answered my questions. The dental nurse was kind to me too, passing my handbag to me and helping me get my wheelchair through the doors, by holding them open. And that rarely happens! All in all a good visit. I’ll be back, hopefully not before this time next year though!

Fantastic experience: I have always been one of the many thousand people who are scared of the dentist, toothache got the better of me so I made an appointment, that was the best decision I have made in a long time, from the minute I walked in I was made welcome, it didn't feel or smell like a dentist. I told the dentist I was scared and he made me feel so relaxed, with lovely soothing music in the background, on my second visit it was 2 teeth out, again he was so reassuring and I put my ear pods in to listen to my music, by the end of 1 song it was all over. It was an amazing plesent experience and I still get anxious but feel more relaxed. I highly recommend this dentist and wish I had found them sooner.

Fantastic experience: Shoaib was really a lovely guy who put me at ease and explained all the different procedures I could choose from regarding dental implants. Positive experience: A rare not so good experience yesterday. My appointment was 15 minutes late. My treatment wasn't available when I did get in despite it being booked in weeks ago. There was a student in the room who didn't even look up to acknowledge me.

Negative experience: I like my dentist but I don’t think 2.5 minutes is enough to properly check my teeth! This has happened the last two check ups!

Negative experience: We turned up to have 4 teeth removed. Only when we went in to see the dentist were told they had booked us in for 5 minutes with the wrong dentist! We rescheduled for later in the day, only to be told later they had to cancel this too! I took a day off work and my daughter out of school for a day for this waste of time!

Negative experience: It was a very brief visit, the dentist took a Quick Look in my mouth told me that I have inflamed gums and told me I needed an X-ray at Wexham park hospital, when I went to the hospital, I was told by the radiologist ; the information on the sheet of paper was sufficient and told the x-ray was canceled

Fantastic experience: I have recently moved to Damira Dental and I am very happy with the treatment I receive there. The reception staff are sooo lovely and friendly and I have a wonderful dentist Evelina. I recently had to have an emergency tooth extraction. The infection was spotted by the hygenist who is also very good and thorough. I was very nervous and nearly squeezed the life out of the poor dental nurses' hand (sorry lol) but Evelinas calm and friendly presence really helped not to have a panic attack. I had a variety of issues after this unfortunately (my other tooth broke and the tooth next the the extracted one was hurting my tongue) Each time I was seen almost immediately, so was not left in discomfort, and Evelina sorted all the issues out. I'm very happy with this dental practice and especially Evalina

Fantastic experience: My daughter had her second appointment and had to have an extraction the dentist was amazing Shoaib Ali he was so kind patient and reassuring my daughter suffers with anxiety but was put at ease straight away can't thank him enough he truly was amazing and highly recommend this dental surgery the treatment was pain free he used the magic cream so she wouldn't feel the injection he really did go above and beyond honestly so happy

Fantastic experience: This is a brilliant practice... Especially my dentist, Evelina. She's a genuine professional, who didn't try to push products or procedures, as we've experienced in the past. If she thinks you need something, you'll need it. If you think YOU need something, and you really don't, she'll tell you, too. Not like a previous experience we had with a dentist ( not in Damira) who tried to persuade me to have implants, whitening, enamelling, and went totally from friendly, to dismissive, to the extent, wasn't interested in even treating me, after I declined.

Negative experience: The dentist was lovely and caring. But unfortunately i was told wrong information from the reception team and ended up having to pay for the treatment again. Apparently the calls to to a call centre which i do not believe.

Negative experience: Reception staff need to show they are not doing any favours to patients and need to be more welcoming. Not just me but other patients were treated the same way. Dentists just keep trying to sell you more and more. It's like going to a restaurant and waiter is choosing what you should order.

Fantastic experience: I had my first visit to Damira yesterday and I hadn’t been to a dentist for a few years, mainly because I, like a lot of people, don’t like going to the dentist but also because I couldn’t find an NHS one. I was a little nervous at first but as I walked in, the reception area was light and modern. Not dark and dingy and the receptionist was welcoming and friendly. That was a good start. A lady then came out and called me and again, was friendly. I then walked into the dentist’s room and it didn’t have that horrible ‘dentist smell!’ The dentist I saw, was really lovely! Probably the nicest dentist I’ve ever seen in my life! She was so pleasant, friendly and human! She examined my teeth and was very gentle. She explained everything she was doing and work which I would need. I asked if it would be her doing the work, as by this time, I felt totally comfortable with her. She told me it would be. By the end of my visit, I was completely relaxed, smiling and chatting with the dentist and her assistant and had no fear about going back! In my opinion, when visiting a dentist, especially for anyone with anxiety, it is not just about the dentistry. It is about the friendliness and compassion of every person you have to deal with during your visit. Not just the dentist but the receptionist and dental nurse too! It means so much and for me, they all smashed it yesterday! So, thank you so much!!

Positive experience: I am a NHS patient. I had an emergency appointment to temporarily fix a broken tooth. This was done well by a different dentist as mine was away. I was told to book a follow up appointment with my dentist to arrange a permanent fix. I did this and asked my dentist what my options were.I was told in detail about an expensive private treatment with another practice. I wanted more information on NHS solutions explained to me not private ones. I paid my £27.40 and left confused as to what was needed. I will now have to look up NHS band 3 solutions and book another appappointment.

Positive experience: I was not able to see my usual dentist as away. I presented with a very sore inflamed gum due an infection from a previous filling. The dentist tried to put in xray plate but I gagged - I have a serious gag reflex issue. She only tried once then said she would leave. Got a prescription for antibiotics and left. I do feel she could have tried to work with me for the x ray Luckily my usual dentist back soon and she has been wonderful in helping me overcome my dental anxieties giving me confidence to return

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience. Car parking easy and plenty, reception quick and polite. The dental examination was great,Elvira was great and clear as to what treatment was best for me. The only fault was that reception said that they would call me following the visit with details of a payment plan but I haven’t yet received the call

Positive experience: Dental practice: 5/5 - I would give a higher score if I could. Offsite Call Centre: 0/5 - An exceptionally poor experience where they made their error my problem. To not penalise the incredible staff at the Maidenhead branch, I am giving them 4/5. The care, attention to detail and professionalism of everyone I have seen at the dental practice in Maidenhead has been fantastic and I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a dentist. My experience from the offsite call centre however been a very poor and frustrating experience. In signing up for the dental plan, I was told this would come into effect starting in the new month and I booked an appointment as advised by the very professional staff in Maidenhead. In a separate follow up query several days later from the call centre, I am then informed that they have made an error in what I was informed previously and my plan will only start a month later which means my appointment in a couple of weeks will now be full price or need to be postponed to the next month. It is clear that the call centre does not value customer service nor ever intend to own even a minor error if made. For the record, this error for them would be: a) at best a little bit of paperwork their side to ensure the contract starts in the upcoming month as originally promised or, b) at worst them accepting a once off £18 loss because they are not able to register the plan paperwork in time (It could easily be £0 if they proposed a 2 months payment at the next available payment date to rectify their error). In conclusion, impeccable and professional dental staff and team in Maidenhead. Truly horrendous (offsite) customer [dis]service call centre who prioritise their paperwork over customer service and health provision. EDIT RESPONSE: Please understand that my issue is not at all with the staff or services offered at the Maidenhead branch. I cannot express how professional and high quality the care is from the team. It is exclusively the call centre offsite where I have had issues. I will be continuing to use Damira but aiming to minimise my engagement with the telephonic systems.

Negative experience: This was my second visit, and I was very disappointed. The hygienist rushed through my cleaning, spending less than five minutes actually working on my teeth. Instead, she spent over 20 minutes trying to upsell me on a more expensive treatment. The whole experience felt unprofessional and not focused on my dental care. Totally unacceptable—I’ll be switching to another clinic.

Negative experience: If you are NHS patient then dont go here, they will put you in a infinity loop, you need to pay multiple consultation charges and in the end you didn't get any solution. For me wherever paid 3 consultation charges without solution and whenever booked for a final review all the doctors suddenly fall sick and your appointment will be cancelled. I took lots antibiotics and painkillers prescribed by them and started allergic with rashes on face, blood clot coming from my nose. Still struggling with them for solution

Fantastic experience: I would describe myself as a very nervous patient and so had avoided visiting the dentist for many years. However a friend told me that Damira were taking NHS patients and that he had had a very positive experience. With my teeth and gums starting to feel the years of neglect I finally bit the bullet and within a month of joining the waiting list received a call to make an initial appointment. Everyone at the practice, from the man who initially called me, to the receptionist, the dental nurse and the dentist herself went out of their way to make me feel comfortable; taking the time to address my fears, answer my questions and describe recent advances that would make my first appointment nothing to worry about. It was all true! Over the course of my treatment Dr Bushra has been a kind and understanding dentist who has made me feel totally at ease. I will never again fear having fillings (absolutely painless), and while I will admit to some nerves while having my gums checked and teeth deep cleaned this was always allowed to progress at a pace that I was comfortable with. I should also add that Damira’s new studio in Maidenhead is spotless, modern and welcoming - a calmer more professional setting you could not wish for. For anyone who has been in a similar position to me I would urge you to give Damira a call and have an initial discussion. There really is nothing to fear.

Fantastic experience: Great experience. Had my first checkup with the dentist and my dentist was lovely. In comparison, I moved over from my last place as a had had an awful experience where the person made my gums bleed during the examination and during a clean and told me me teeth weren't great, stains and my molars were impacting and all of that would need to be private costs that would probably cost thousands. In comparison, I had a simple and lovely conversation with the lady dentist I saw at Damira, explained I'd been told these things and she said it simply wasn't true, showed me an x-ray of my mouth and explained it all saying everything was great. Very reassuring and clear. Honestly the difference between the two practices is as unbelievable. Cannot recommend Damira Dentists more highly. It's new, clean, easy to book appointments with reception, accept NHS patients. Parking is a bit busy but can't really complain on balance.

Negative experience: This is the worst dentist practice I have ever dealt with. My mother’s appointments have been cancelled last minute, been told to go to the wrong referral, then been notified and was issued an email on missing appointment when it was their poor communication, asked to have another referral as the dentist notes were incomplete even though the check up with management of an abscess was carried out issuing a referral to another NHS practice. If you like to waste your time and get sent from pillar to post then stay at this practice if you want to be supported by professionals I’d recommend Oakleigh Practice in Windsor

Positive experience: Very good dental staff and pleasant surgery staff but having to pay upfront for future appointments with no written warning came as quite a shock! Many people might not be able to afford to do so

Demand for appointments is very high so we follow this policy to prevent failure to attend. Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff - dentist great and so good with little ones, made me and my daughter feel very comfortable and the assistant even put Peppa pig on for us it's beautifully decorated inside, a nice place to wait for your appointment with lovely receptionists

Negative experience: Rude bed side manner. Made statements about my 17 month old which had nothing to do with his oral care. Unregistered after the first appointment.
