Fantastic experience: I had my new crown fitted today. I had 3 appointments. Adam was very reassuring, as was his nurse assistant, Keyla. I am so pleased with the result and am keen to get my smile back! Very natural. Good care and aftercare. Would strongly recommend Brecknock dental practice and especially Adam.

Fantastic experience: Very grateful to Neil and Fran at the Brecknock Practise in Kentish Town. Back in April 2025 a large filling of mine broke off. My local dentist in Berkshire advised that a Crown would not solve the issue and ultimately a Dental Implant was required. A friend recommended the Brecknock practise so I went there for a 2nd opinion. Neil advised that a crown would suffice as there was enough natural tooth left and that a Dental Implant would be unethical at this stage. I experienced no pain and it felt great to know that I was in the hands of professionals. Thank you Neil and Fran for saving me a fortune!!!

Fantastic experience: Had a lovely Airflow treatment with Hygienist Resmi and Nurse Sheeba. I had to attend with my 4 month old daughter, and they were so lovely helping me carry her bits and having her in the room with us. Highly reccomend. Left feeling really good

Fantastic experience: I had my dental appointment today 18.04.2025 at 4:30 pm with Dr. Megan and her assistant Koma, and I am truly impressed with the level of care and professionalism they provided. They both worked extremely hard to clean and fill my teeth, including some areas that were very difficult to treat. Dr. Megan handled the procedure with incredible precision and gentleness. She managed to fill the challenging spots in my teeth so professionally that I didn’t feel any pain at all. Her skill and calm demeanor made the entire experience smooth and comfortable. Koma was equally amazing—attentive, organized, and supportive throughout the appointment. The teamwork between Dr. Megan and Koma was seamless, and it clearly showed in the quality of their work. I’m very thankful for their dedication and highly recommend them to anyone seeking expert dental care. Thank you both for making today’s visit such a positive one.

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best dentist I’ve ever had!! I’ve been nervous for a while about going to the dentist as I’ve had bad experiences in the past. At my first appointment I had the pleasure of having Anna, she made me feel at ease and listened to my worries, reassuring me and making sure I understood everything. I’ve since had 2 more appointments with her and she has done an amazing job on my teeth making my confidence grow. Anna is absolutely amazing, amazing personality just amazing dentistry too. I love having her and I personally think she may be the best dentist there! I also had lovely Julie help today and she’s just as amazing, helped really quickly and also made me feel at ease. I recommend the both of them if you have and doubts about going dentist.

Fantastic experience: I had hygienist Resmi who was great, made the experience as comfortable as can be and nurse Sushila who was very friendly throughout.

Negative experience: The place is a very old building dirty, busy and doesn't have respect to customers (doctors and receptions). So I cancelled my appointment and never, ever go to this place.

Fantastic experience: I had a consultation with the Dr Maroo earlier in the year and I found it to be very informative, he told me in detail about the process and reassured me about having the surgery. I proceeded to have the dental implant surgery. I have now finished my last procedure and I am in love with my new tooth. Dr Maroo & nurse Fran have given me a new lease on life. I can’t wait to show my friends and family!

Fantastic experience: Recently booked in with brecknock dental practice ,was suffering with gum disease, after a couple of sessions and a air flow deep clean, my teeth feel great again , these guys really know their stuff , hopefully they will sort out my gum disease as it is at stage 3 , can not praise Alice and Jewel enough for a great treatment and making me feel at total ease especially when it came to injections,Alice was so patient and always went through every procedure to reassure me and let me know what was being done and also how to keep my gum and teeth healthy, thankyou Alice and Jewel and thankyou brecknock dental practice

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at the Brecknock clinic and wanted to say a big thank you to Dr. Adam, hygienist Resmi, and nurse Tehreim. Dr. Adam put together a comprehensive plan for both my current dental issues and some preventative care. He explained everything step by step, answered all of my questions, and even gave me a follow-up call to check on how the healing was going— which I really appreciated. I’m extremely happy with the results and the overall care I received. Also, a special thanks to Resmi and Tehreim. They were both so gentle and careful during the hygiene procedure, and I got a lot of genuinely useful advice on how to better take care of my gums. All in all, I felt very well looked after. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Dr. Adam and his assistant. Dr. Adam was very kind, took the time to explain all the options, and patiently answered all my questions. In the end, he placed a crown on a rather fragile tooth where I had problems for years, and the whole process went smoothly. Highly recommended! Fantastic experience: My daughter had an amazing experience with her braces treatment. Having a professional, knowledgeable and friendly orthodontist, such as Dr. Leonora, made such a big difference. The results speak for themselves with her beautiful smile! I'm so grateful of the exceptional care that was provided.

Negative experience: I had a wisdom tooth removed – the dentist was excellent and the surgical procedure was professional. There was some dodgy financial sleight-of-hand by the practice however that has left a really bitter taste. I'm sure I'm not the first and won't be the last, but this is how it happened to me: I provided the X-Rays and scans of the tooth I needed removing because I had them already from another surgery that did NHS appointments, and was told over email that the extraction could go ahead on a private basis for £375. When it came to booking the surgery on the phone, I was then told by the receptionist that it could not be allowed to go ahead without an "assessment" for which I'd have to pay £60 there and then. Fair enough, I thought, imagining a detailed assessment of the situation would need to happen. I paid in good faith. But there wasn't one … The dentist looked into my mouth for a minute before applying the local anaesthetic. No mirrors, no scans or X-rays, no tools or questions, just a quick look and on with the job. Sixty pounds was added to the cost for that glimpse. When I raised this odd situation with them, they dismissed it as normal and told me that they had a recording of me accepting the extra charge. I accepted the charge in good faith that there would be an assessment. I feel like an idiot for believing they would also act in good faith given the profession. You might imagine that any private dental surgery that by its nature is exploiting the dire NHS situation might have some capacity for shame, rather than charging the equivalent of £3600 an hour for the one-minute look at a patient's tooth that would surely have happened during any normal extraction procedure. Not at Brecknock Dental. The dentist was fantastic, but the experience has left me feeling pickpocketed by the administrators. I won't be back.

Negative experience: Walked in at 10.19 after being stuck in traffic even called and said be there in two minutes and banned as being an NHS patient for my son. 10.20 was the cut off, good dentist but poor customer service, they don't operate in the real world and treat patients like a business. The problem is that they will always get more patients as there are not enough dentists around so they can treat people poorly.

Negative experience: Do not recommend, My dentist and orthodontist did not communicate with eachother about me getting braces, i would assume at the very beginning theyd give a brief of whats going to happen with my teeth and, instead they told me on the day that i would need pre braces and 2 teeth removed, why would they not tell me i needed teeth removed from the very beginning?

Negative experience: Firstly my child who has medical conditions and autisum had fillings in this practice and a dentist drilled to far into her tooth and hasn't reported the incident on her records no complaint has been replied to they keep saying emails are bouncing back i ask for a posted copy and the practice manager claimed i was intimidating her they've taken teeth out for braces and left her for over well over a year we have disovered by a privert denist that she has an issue with her lower gum/jaw this was never picked up by brecknock so was left with moving teeth and to top it of they have now taken her of their patient records as she had bad flu and couldn't make appointment on advise of GP she's now had braces now fitted but needs an after care appointment for 2 months time but brecknock are refusing to give her an appointment I do feel this is poor practise

Negative experience: Still shocked by the front desk and manager asking £60 for a printout of a proof of address for my son’s school application. After spending thousands of pounds here, this is outrageous. We are not going back.

Fantastic experience: I am incredibly pleased with the service from Brecknock dentist’s Dr Nabir Al-bayaar. After an initial emergency appointment for 2 cracked front teeth, I was able to get them fixed within a week. Dr Al-Bayaar used composite bonding to fix the teeth and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the final result. Thank you very much

I was told to come in on the same day to be seen. Mr sha saw me and was understanding of my situation. All staff here are very friendly and helpful. My dentist spotted I had some gum disease and my hygienist Jo then set me off on a treatment plan which got the problem under control, maybe even saving my tooth. Jo told me how to keep my teeth clean between treatments, which were affordable. I would strongly recommend the Brecknock team.

Fantastic experience: After a superb emergency treatment arranged by NHS 111, I came back here for my implant, done by the very proficient Dr. Neil. From consultation to aftercare, everything was first-class: a friendly atmosphere, comfortable room, top-notch high-tech equipment, and communication and advice by email, not to mention very attentive stress-free surgery. Now, happily, I am their NHS patient too, and the super-friendly hygienist Jo is looking after my dental wellbeing. I am so glad I discovered this practice. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: Just spoke to someone to make an appointment for my son who suffers from anxiety and depression and dyslexia . he wasn’t understanding and not very helpful. I have always phone and spoken to some lovely ladies at this dentist who have gone above and beyond , but this gentleman needs to learn how to speak to people ,.

My last experience at a different dental practice was so painful that I had been avoiding the dentist ever since. Fantastic experience: My first appointment at Brecknock Dental, so I was feeling rather nervous, but Dr Nabil & Nurse Julie were friendly and welcoming. Dr Nabil gave me advice and recommendations, regarding my dental options, which were really useful. Hopefully, things will all go well. Also, the whole place was air conditioned, which was great on one of the hottest days of the year!

Fantastic experience: We can all agree going to the dentist can be scary, stressful, and leave you with bad memories. However my experience under the professional, caring hands of Dr Any, made my visits very comfortable and not stressful. Fantastic experience: The dentist is absolutely great. The dentist Dr Megan and her Nurse are fantastic I give them and this dentist 5 stars for everything, they always help me and support with my needs. I wish I could give them 10 stars for how great Dr Megan. She is always very very helpful. She always makes me very very happy on my visit. I am elderly but she makes me feel very welcome. Negative experience: Receptionist named “Komal” was very rude, nasty and disrespectful whilst I was trying to book an appointment. She even called me back to try and cause an argument and made some racist comments towards me. I have recorded the whole conversation. After that she cancelled my appointment. I do NOT recommend this place

Fantastic experience: Had a really positive experience with Dr Neil who did my dental implants and Dr Lenore Chen for my braces. My situation was quite complex and they were friendly, supportive, and encouraging throughout the process. I'm glad I chose Brecknock dental, I got the outcome I wanted with professional service and care. I would highly recommend.

Negative experience: I would've given a 0 star if possible. This surgery am afraid is becoming close to fraudulent! Called up to get a filling and told I'll need a check up before which will cost me another £50 because I've not been to see the dentist in that time. When has this become a thing! So it now appears one has to do a check up every six months (which basically means you have to go see them every 6 months if you like it or not and part with money). Private dentistry in this country is next to theft IMO! This bloody industry needs more regulation like every other part of medicine, no other part of medicine does this, partly why I struggle to believe anything they tell me as it always comes across like they're trying to just get money out of you. I only go here because I moved this way else I wouldn't bother. This country am afraid is going down the toilet! Beyond pissed off!

Negative experience: I went for my daugther's second appointment and unfortunately arrived 7 minutes late - tight schedule, traffic, single parent, working full time, etc... Previous appointment we were seen with 25 minutes delayed by the doctor. When I arrived they told me that because my appointment was the last of the day the doctor has left. Hence, I was a "no show" and that if I do another "no show" the NHS will stop seeing my daughter. Nobody called me to see if I was coming and I called but could not get through as the lines were busy. There should be some flexibility for delayed both ways, particularly when they dont have a reputation for being punctual for what I see in the comments and my own experience! I am not impressed with the doctor not giving any margin for delayed after she made me wait 25 minutes on my previous appointment.

Fantastic experience: The treatment I received from Dr.Anjali has been excellent. After suffering quite severe trauma to my teeth, my teeth and gums were in a bad way; right from the start I was made to feel comfortable and not embarrassed about my situation. Dr. Anjali is friendly, sympathetic, knowledgeable and made me aware of the different options available. I am unbelievably happy with my treatment and can’t recommend her highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Was so scared was in so much pain. The guy I see was amazing at calming me down and helping me due to my anxiety. Think his name was DR Cecil amazing human great dentist and his assistant Nurse Keyla was a sweet kind lady top place

Negative experience: On 13th January 2024, I sought emergency NHS dental care for tooth pain at Brecknock clinic. The treatment I received involved applying a substance to the affected tooth, which was described to me as lasting up to twelve months but in reality dissolved completely in my mouth within five hours, providing no pain relief. I have complained only to find that the medical records of my visit do not align with reality, therefore have had to take matters further, incurring both costs and time. Consequently, I would not recommend this practice to anybody.

Fantastic experience: I do private treatments in this surgery. The only reason I get treatment in ths dental surgery is due to the most professional and caring doctor Aysha, she is exceptional! Dr Aysha is not just a dentist, she is born dentist. Always recommend Dr Aysha and her team if anyone needs to have the job done nicely.

Fantastic experience: Been coming to this denist for 16yrs and all 4 of my kids . Lovely and caring staff . All on point and our dentist Ty Dr Aysha she is amazing my kids will not see anyone else apart from her she makes them feel at ease and is very friendly and caring.

Fantastic experience: I arrived at Brecknock Dental for the first time in May 2023 with anxiety and a mouthful of problems. Thanks to the excellent receptionist Debbie, I was directed to the care of Dr Neil Maroo. At the initial consultation, I was afforded time to outline my needs and share some anxieties. Dr Maroo listened intently, without interruption and made sense of my ramblings, offering a treatment plan with which I was happy. I have just completed my treatment, which comprised an extraction, a new crown for a broken tooth and three dental implants to fill some very long gaps. Throughout this treatment plan, I have received exceptional care from Dr Maroo and his dental nurse Fran. All treatment has been well explained, pain relief well managed with excellent clinical outcomes. I have been treated respectfully, patiently and sensitively at all times. If I have had any concerns or questions, Dr Maroo has gone out of his way to address these satisfactorily. There is a real sense of 'team' at Brecknock Dental. Debbie is exceptional, understanding and helpful. She is well supported by other reception colleagues. Dr Maroo is an excellent dental surgeon who cares for his patients and is committed to high quality outcomes. The environment in which he and nurse Fran operate is welcoming, friendly and above all caring. I am delighted with the outcome of my treatment and given the extent of the treatment the cost represents very good value. Based on my experience, I can recommend Brecknock Dental without reservation. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Excellent treatment from start to finish provided by Dr.Neil Maroo and the Nurse. High quality dentistry work was given by Dr.Maroo on all procedures and I felt I was in in very competent and safe hands. He is very patient- centred and both him and the Nurse were calm and caring when I was nervous. I would highly recommend Dr.Maroo for detailed and advanced dental treatment. Fantastic experience: Dr Cecil and Nurse Sushil were both highly professional and showed a great level of empathy throughout my treatment. I attended this surgery through 111, as I had been experiencing immense pain and couldn’t get an appointment at my dentist. They made me feel comfortable and allowed me time to process the pain I was experiencing during the treatment. They started the first stage of the root canal treatment which helped reduce the pain immediately which I’m eternally grateful for Thank You. The reception staff were friendly, and the process of checking in was seamless.

Fantastic experience: First meeting / appointment with Dr Mahir, the whole new practice is very impressive, the attitude and professionalism of the staff is clear to see and very warm and friendly. The treatment was simple and smooth with some high spec looking kit. Looking forward to seeing them again in 4 weeks for my follow up appointment… never thought I’d say I’m looking forward to going back to see the dentist, but I am.

Fantastic experience: Dr Cecil & Nurse Sushil were both so helpful and attentive making me feel very comfortable throughout the process of my tooth being extracted. I’ve definitely left there feeling much better after their help and advice .

Fantastic experience: Dr Hannah and Nurse Kamal were superb. I have a complete phobia and fear of the dentist, from the time I sat in the chair for each visit Dr Hannah was excellent, I'd highly recommend anybody ask for her. All staff go above and beyond to put you at ease. I highly recommend this dental practice and especially Dr Hannah, Jo the hygienist who was also superb and all of the reception staff.

Fantastic experience: Dr Cecil & Nurse Julie were amazing, I was in severe pain with my wisdom tooth which was infected and had to be extracted. It was a simple and painless procedure, couldn’t ask for more help from the wonderful Doctor and Nurse, great partnership, thanks a lot

Fantastic experience: I've had outstanding treatment over the course of 3 years by Dr Vanesca Costa. She's very warm and non judgemental about my teeth. She's had to do numerous complex treatments - all conducted with the highest professional standards of excellence. I can't recommend her enough. 10 Stars

Negative experience: Not complaining about the dental treatment I received but rather about the mere fact that I have to pay £50 for check up every 4-6 months before I can book an actual appointment for the dental treatment I need. Not everyone has time/money to go to the dentist every 4-6 months, especially taking into consideration the current cost of living. Shame, because this means they don’t value regular customers and I will not be sticking to this one if I need to pay the check up fee everytime I need treatment. Might as well go to a different one every time. For this lack of regard for returning customers, and for poor standard of customer service at the reception desk I am giving them 1 star.

Fantastic experience: I went there for an emergency appointment from 111. They call me straight away. I would like to thank Dr Alex, his helper in the room and also the reception team, they gave me an amazing service. He was super professional and helpful, I had a tooth extraction and He made me feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend it. Thanks for making my experience very ease.

Fantastic experience: I would never believe that my snoring/ sleep apnea could have been improved by attending my dental appointment! I just started wearing my oral appliance and I can already see the results. A big thanks to the staff. I highly recommended it.

Fantastic experience: Excellent emergency service..called by Nurse Binod on time and greeted well and put at ease. Dr Aysha gave lots of useful advice and dealt with my emergency professionally and relieved it was sorted in one visit. Highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: I’ve visited quite a few dentist in the past couple years but the service and care I got from todays treatment by Dr Cecil and Nurse Julie was second to none! Dr Cecil listened to me and answered all my questions without rushing through the appointment. I felt very relaxed and very comfortable. Honestly the service, care & treatment was 10/10! Negative experience: I recently visited them for a toothache, but I left feeling disappointed and frustrated. After examining me, they didn't take any action to address the issue. Instead, they simply prescribed analgesics, leaving me to manage the pain on my own. It was a waste of time and money. I expected better treatment and a solution to my problem. I would not recommend this dental clinic to others in need of proper care.

Fantastic experience: I was looked after by Dr Evie, Nurse Luisa and Dr Agata after having to attend as an emergency appointment for my tooth to be removed. They were incredible with me, so patient, friendly and just lovely as I was so nervous and in pain. The level of service I received was just simply outstanding and left me with a very different and positive view of the dentist!!!!! If you can get in to see Dr Evie, she is the best!!! You will be so well looked after :) Thank you so much as I’m no longer in pain.

Fantastic experience: I saw one of the lovely hygienists today who was so gentle and made it a very relaxing experience. The nurse was also super helpful and done such a good job with the suction that I didn’t even feel like I had any water in my mouth. Very clean and tidy practice would highly recommend.
