Fantastic experience: Sam Has been my Dentist for at least 15 years. Sam is a wonderful Dentist he is patient and kind and funny and professional, he makes your feel safe and well looked after when you have an appointment. Some dentists say that some people are very impatient and unkind to dentists but I could never see how anyone could be like that to such a kind and brilliant guy like Sam, I hope this reaches Sam, So he can know what a Wonderful Person he is, I truly couldn’t ask for any other Dentist.
Fantastic experience: I’ve been extremely nervous of dentists since bad experiences in my teens, but recently decided I wanted clear aligners. This meant having any treatment necessary prior. I went to a different dentist initially where I had to pay a £65 new client fee and was told I needed all of my old fillings redone plus 2 more which was going to cost almost £1000 before I even got the aligners. I had one filling with them which was quite uncomfortable and I can’t say the nicest experience. I had an off feeling after this so decided to try a different route and applied for Smile White aligners and was booked in with Liesl. She was so friendly and also clearly extremely knowledgable and immediately told me I absolutely did not need the amount of work done I’d been told previously. I only needed two fillings and had these done on Monday. I can honestly say it was the most pleasant and least stress inducing experience I’ve ever had with a dentist. Liesl was so gentle and considerate of my nerves and did both fillings in - I think - less than 20 minutes! I absolutely won’t go anywhere else now and am so grateful for her ethical and kind approach. I’d almost go as far as saying she’s redeemed my trust in dentists.
Fantastic experience: I have been with Together Dental Norwich for almost 30 years now. My reason for visiting today was because a filling came out at the weekend. When I rang at 8.30am, I was offered a lunchtime appointment where my filling was promptly and efficiently replaced. Throughout my treatment, I was asked if everything was okay to continue. Once again, I have been treated with compassion, respect and care. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: After two previous dissapointing trips to local Dentists we were lucky to attend Together Dental Norwich. The reception team were efficient and welcoming and our appointed Dentist Sam was simply outstanding in his explanation of planned treatment and costs. He has a very relaxing and warm approach and immediately put you at ease. Highly recommended.
Negative experience: Awful dentist! The majority of reception staff are rude, and miserable. And lack the most of basic customer service skills. They chased my wife for a payment she had paid. Even showed the credit card statement showing the payment. But they couldn't reconcile it. The dentist even made my wife cry, trying to make here pay it again! I always turn up early for appointments, but here the dentist is 45 mins plus dehind. I've walked out before, I've better things to do than sit in a waiting room. The dental treatment is poor, I had a filling that fell out within a week of it being filled. Called up and they couldn't fit me in for over two months. This was the final straw, I went elsewhere. My new dentist, had to remove the tooth as it had already been butchered, and found other filling that had been missed by together dental, even with regular appointments. If you value your teeth, time and money avoid!
Fantastic experience: I had to have an old filling removed and a new one put in .l was so nervous and was actually shaking going in to see Sam ,but he really calmed me down and got me through the procedure .He really is such a caring and kind man ,his assistant was also lovely .Reception are also always so friendly too .Thankyou all .

Negative experience: Over 6 and a half hours on the phone trying to get an emergency appointment, including two of those being first in the que and being told my calls important to you by the automated response while you seemingly ignored the phone all afternoon. I have no issue queuing and waiting my turn but how can I be first in the que for over 2 hours while your open and still not hear from a human on the phone? I certainly don't feel like my call was important like your phone line suggested to me it was!. Positive experience: I have been an NHS Patient at the Earlham Road surgery in Norwich for well over a decade. Anthony Paulsen is a good dentist, and he has treated both my wife and two children regularly with no complaints. Overall I am pleased with the service I receive from a dental perspective. I am very sympathetic to the pressures the dental profession are subject to, though their policy of automatically removing people from the NHS list is too extreme, unaccountable and takes 0 mitigating factors into account. At some point around 2013 I was forced to miss an appointment at short notice due to car trouble. Fast forward to 11 years later, and I had general check-up scheduled but I missed my 08:30 appointment due to waking up with illness. I rang in at 08:32 to advise (as the surgery doesn't open until 08:30). This triggered their "Strict" 2 missed appointment policy and I unceremoniously received an automatic system generated email that I am no longer eligible to receive NHS Dental Services from them. The practice manager was then unavailable for phone calls, and my email reply asking for any consideration was not acknowledged. Following an intervention by the Chief Operating Officer, I am pleased that some sense has prevailed and this automatic trigger has been rescinded. Charley Mitchell has been fair, courteous and reassuring throughout and I am glad and grateful he took the time to reach out to me.
Fantastic experience: Audrey, has also been so welcoming and efficient. My daughter has been seeing her since she was little and enjoys a stocker at the end of her visits.
Negative experience: During the appointment the dentist was very rude, sarcastic and belittling. I am a healthcare professional myself and if I would behave in this manner I would be fired instantly or at least receive disciplinary action. One or two dentist assistants were present so you may want to confirm this with them.

Negative experience: Every time I’ve been to this dentist it’s been one of the most anxiety inducing horrible experiences. My dentist has since left the practice, I had a really bad run in with him when he thought I was 5 minutes late for my appointment, I’d just pulled up in the car park and he called me to shout at me down the phone to tell him I’d made him late for the rest of the day. I apologised as I thought I was early and it turned out he was wrong. I told him I could rebook for another date but he did my appointment anyway and shouted at me and pulled my mouth around doing X-rays. I left the practice crying, reception did offer to help and I reported him and received an apology from him and the owner but it was still very upsetting. This happened about 6 years ago but every time I found his attitude terrible. I had multiple reinfections of the same tooth which was then taken out but left infected and I had to go back again to get prescribed more antibiotics, he never ever checked my teeth properly or asked whether I was having any issues, just poked about then rubbed them in fluoride. I always had to wait about an hour for the appointment too which is funny considering he was so angry with me for being late. The last appointment I had with this dentist he stroked my cheek once and then stroked them both again which is really not appropriate patient care, I haven’t reported this as he left after this appointment & I’ve already complained about him and to be honest just really needed an NHS dentist. My new dentist is absolutely lovely and very thorough, unfortunately though today was the final straw as I had my appointment moved and confirmed for the Reepham road practice. When I turned up they said my appointment had been cancelled, which I hadn’t been informed about at all. I’ve now deregistered as I’ve had enough and it’s not worth the NHS pricing when you get treated so badly.

Negative experience: Absolutely horrible experience when coming here. The dentist i saw has made me extremely uncomfortable and upset every single visit i had. He showed no understanding of the issues i face and kept being so pressuring and rude. I have reached out to the practice numerous times to change my dentist as i have been avoiding coming for years now, but from a different review i read, i bet they have taken me off from the practice with no notice? That is horrible and im really disappointed with the lack of understanding and help i was provided with as someone who struggles with anxiety. This is the first google review i have ever made, but people who are the same as me need to be aware.

Fantastic experience: A friendly receptionist greets you and asks you to sit down. I waited only a few minutes before I was called to see the new dentist. She was so lovely. Going to the dentist isn't my favourite thing but she really put me at my ease. She replaced some of my old fillings and did an amazing job. She was gentle and kind, unlike the dentist she replaced, who was rude and always running very late! After all my time is just as important as theirs. I would highly recommend my dentist. She's the best dentist I have ever been to, and I have been to several over the years! I can't recommend enough!
Negative experience: Dentist didn't complete the work I paid for in full which created another appointment that I couldn't make and when I couldn't make it charged me £80 and sent me harassing emails. Considering it was 1 all in mistake tennis I think they could've done better. Nothing to protect the customer which when spending so much cash I think they could do better.

Negative experience: My husband and I registered as NHS patients when we moved to Norwich in 2016 and my son is now a patient too. We had our regular check up appointments which we were extremely unimpressed with as we had just come from a private practice in Essex and the difference in treatment was massive. Check up appointments consisted of essentially sitting down, the dentist rubbing his fingers along our gums, saying “all is ok, see you next year!”. Appointments usually took no longer than 5/10 mins, extremely dismissive with us as adults and our son (now 6). Please bear in mind both my husband and I are pretty clued up on dental care and treatments as both of us had monthly appointments for years following orthodontic treatments, so we have quite a lot of positive experiences to compare this practice and dentist with. Reading through the reviews for this particular practice, I honestly believe this may only apply to our particular dentist and my review is in no way a reflection on the rest of the staff. Reception staff have been amazing, the hygienists we have met for regular cleanings have been absolutely delightful and amazingly professional. I feel that there is clearly a difference in treatment and approach when it comes to NHS vs. private patients which is very disappointing. Cherry at the top of the cake though which left me absolutely livid and prompted my review today… I called to book mine and my son’s regular check up and was told I had been de-registered because I didn’t book any check ups last year - 2023. I was told the practice does NOT HAVE to send reminders and this particular dentist reserves the right to kick NHS patients off the list if they haven’t attended for a period of time. When I explained I DID come in late 2023 for a cleaning with the hygienist and didn’t book any check ups with the dentist because I felt there was no concerns regarding my oral health, I was told that is somewhat irrelevant, what matters are the actual appointments with this particular dentist. I was given absolutely no notice to advise me I would be removed if no appointments are made with the dentist. No courtesy phone call, email, text message, nothing. I asked if I could at all appeal to this decision, considering my husband and son are still patients but was told the dentist refused to consider. Absolutely appalling, unbelievable that practices are allowed to do this with NO notice whatsoever. I would understand if I hadn’t visited the practice for a long period of time, but I literally had a hygienist appointment in OCT 2023???

Negative experience: Sorry, but going to leave a very negative rating for abismal service. The dentist agreed to take me on as an NHS patient. I registered and completed my details accordingly. However, I got a phone call on the morning of my appointment to be told the dentist changed his mind and he will only see me as a private patient. It made me so angry. I de-registered immediately and refused to be treated by people who agree to something, but then u-turn. Totally unacceptable.

Positive experience: Jollanda was great. But please can the password for the patient WiFi be shared, your reception team have said on two occasions that they don’t have it. The network is visible when searched, and it’s also states in the patient handbook in the waiting room that one is available. No matter what the network, there is no mobile signal in the building.

Fantastic experience: Francesca was lovely, very calm and explained everything to me. Nothing to do with her, but I'm still not entirely sure why Together has decided that seeing a hygienist is outside of the NHS Band 1 treatment guidelines. Surely prevention is better than having to do treatment later? I understand the NHS contract is awful, but even so it seems a shame.

I can’t thank Audrey enough for fitting me in, it was such a relief. She is such a caring person and really dedicated to her job. Negative experience: I hate to put a bad review but I feel this dentist really deserves one. I started noticing pain in my mouth in 2022 and contacted this dentist for an appointment I will say it was quite quick to get this appointment. I have a dental phobia and when I went in for this appointment the dentist was very rude kept calling me the wrong name and didn’t really understand my worry’s especially when paying private you don’t expect to have someone be so rude to you also the dentist room looked very shabby and a bit unclean. I got sent to the hospital to have an x-ray as I wanted to be referred to another dentist what handled dental phobia better after I had this x-ray it took this dentist nearly a year to refer me after coming up with different excuses all the time and this was only because I kept calling them up apparently they don’t follow up on stuff they just forget about you as I found out about 3 months of waiting. Some of the problems were the dentist I had only working two days a week so whenever they tried to talk to her about me she was never in and then the reception team would forget and then I’d have to call up again. Then there was problems where they said they lost my X-ray when they said the had already used it to refer me but they hadn’t so I had to go In again but when I went in and payed for another appointment they somehow found it. seemed to me like they were stalling all this time to not refer me so they could have the money themselves and not another dentist. The reception team are also very rude I couldn’t believe how they talk to you sometimes it was shocking at one point one of them was so sarcastic saying I should post the referral myself if I was so worried well wouldn’t you be when you’ve been told you referral had been lost in the post and loads of other reasons I’ve stated. I also had to put in a complaint to the management about my referral not being worked on at all and nether heard anything back at all but they did end up try being nice to me before I finally got referred. Overall I wish I would have nether found this dentist most probably the most stupid decision of my life was going here please only go here if you really have to. In the end I got referred to a brilliant dentist in Norwich on barrack street who totally understood my dental phobia who’s reception team welcome you in and the dentist and team actually smiling and caring about their patients and I really can’t thank them enough . but as this dentist hadn’t referred me for nearly a year I ended up having to have two very deep fillings what maybe could have been smaller had this dentist been better.

Fantastic experience: Tony was the best dentist I have ever had experience with. He completely changed my life when he sorted my tooth out, after falling off a wall at just 9 years old, I thought my life will always be hidden behind my smile but he has changed my life completely. Fantastic experience: Apart from running around 30 minutes behind (which can’t be helped) I really cannot fault them. Armand has always put me at ease and looked after me so the wait really doesn’t bother me at all. He talks to me throughout the appointment, general questions about my health but also takes the time to get to know me which helps as someone who is extremely anxious when it comes to dentists. It would be great if you could book online instead of having to call but not a huge issue. Would recommend.

Negative experience: Avoid if you don't want to be shouted at by a very rude receptionist for trying to make an appointment whilst in the surgery and being told to go to the back of the queue, even though I was already second in the queue. During a phone call to make an appointment, I tried to ask if she could tell me if I had already paid a deposit or not. And I've never had a response like it in my life! I was a new patient and had thought I'd paid a deposit for a second appointment which they cancelled and when trying to rebook another appointment and tried to explain when asked for another deposit that I had already paid, but the receptionist just kept shouting. 'i don't care what you've done before, you need to pay a deposit'. Eventually put the phone down as she wouldn't listen to me. Rung head office and then dealt with a pleasant young man, dealing with customer care I think, at the surgery and he arranged for my x-rays to be sent to me, so I could find a surgery I felt less terrified at.

Negative experience: Having recently moved to Norwich, I searched around for local NHS dentists, but quickly realised that none take new patients nowadays. I spoke with together dental who said they had a slightly cheaper plan which wasn’t quite NHS but also wasn’t fully private. My latest check up cost me £65, took 10 mins and essentially involved the dentist running his finger around my teeth, telling me to keep flossing and sending me on my way. I think what they actually meant was I would pay private dentist prices, but get NHS treatment. Although even NHS dentists give your teeth a clean and polish as part of the service. I came away feeling somewhat cheated out of my money and am currently looking for a new dentist. Also the parking is always difficult, the receptionists seem distracted if not a little rude, and they won’t let you use the surgery Wi-Fi l, so you just sit staring at the walls. It’s just a really unsuitable building to house a dentist surgery and an unpleasant place to be from start to finish.
Positive experience: just felt a little uncomfortable as got a bit of a telling off as I had to come in 2 days in a row which is no fault of mine , I had an issue with the same back tooth !!!! my diabetes is killing my enamel & unfortunately have had loads of treatment , over the years . it makes me feel depressed as it is let alone getting moaned at because I had to come in twice in 2 days . if my teeth were perfect I wouldn't come in , that's just a wish that'll never come true for me !!!!!

Positive experience: We have been patients here for about 4 years with our two boys. The office staff are very efficient and friendly. Our dentist Armand is great with the kids, really goes the extra mile and genuinely cares. Parking right outside is very convenient.
Negative experience: I phoned up for an emergency appointment. Assuming I would have a tooth pulled same day. Instead I'm prescribed anti biotics which is fine. But they have refused to treat. I have now found a dentist that will do one off emergency appointments. Rather than quoting 1000 for a route canal and filling. My dentist if anybody else is wondering. Booking fee is slightly more but dental fees are cheaper
Fantastic experience: I have been attending this dentist this I was child, Armand camderman has been my dentist from the start and I have always had a positive experience. He has always gone above and beyond to sort any issues I have had and has made sure to continue to provide a good service. My husband and child also see Armand, and Armand has been great with them too, he is very patient and good with our little boy making his first few trips to the dentist good and not a scary experience as some children find the dentist daunting. Thank you Armand, keep up the good work!
Negative experience: I just had an emergency appointment in Norwich, my usual surgery is in Thaxted and I have no complaints about them, the service is always great and they make everything very comfortable. However, my experience today in the Norwich (Eartham Road) surgery was terrible. I had to pay £55 for a service I was not at all pleased with, they didn't have the correct equipment and kept going in and out of the room during the procedure. I felt that they didn't listen at all to my concerns or about my medical history. I didn’t feel like they cared about my experience and repeatedly said my issues were due to my braces. I had my brace put on when I was 13 and had them removed at 14, I am now 20 years old so the relevance of braces to me is bizarre. At no point did they explain what was going on and the whole experience of unorganised and chaotic. I am so disappointed even the receptionist were bad. I had to wait as the only one available was gossiping with an old colleague, she didn't even explain what I was paying for just put the card machine in front of me. I pay a lot for a high quality service and this was atrociously bad, not what I am used to in Thaxted.
Fantastic experience: Reception staff are always patient and helpful. I have been going to Dr Armand Camderman for over 4 years and he is such a great dentist, and always patient and caring as well.

Friendly /polite front office staff. Reminders sent via text. Dedicated parking for bicycles. Professional working environment. Excellent relationship observed between the dentist and his dental assistants. High quality service from dentist.
Fantastic experience: Felipe is fantastic, he is a exceptionally skilled dental surgeon that obviously keeps up with all the new technologies in his field but also has a very friendly and confident manner that puts patients at ease. He takes his time to explain all the procedures and answers any questions you have. His team are also very friendly and professional.
Fantastic experience: from someone who is terried of the dentist I always recieve excellent service and treatment from Sam for my regular check ups and has cured my fear! I can't recommend Filipe enough if you want invisalign. He puts you at ease from your first appointment and will see you regularly to make sure straightening is on target! Well worth every penny if you're self-conscious of your smile!
Negative experience: dr adnam canderman was the worst he is always rude, unpolite and discarded your tooth problems like u would do with trash . Do not get him as your dentist , I personally dislike him and wish I had another dentist . Staff and receptionist were friendly tho but pls fire dr adnam canderman , he does not know what he is doing .
Positive experience: I have been using this practise for a few years now and I have always received excellent treatment and never have to wait too long for an appointment. But the reason for 3 star rating is their total obsession with mask wearing (and social distancing) even in October 2022 when the rest of the country has rightly moved on. It's a farce, especially when people have to remove them at what would be considered the greatest risk (the dentist chair) whereas the waiting room is full of people who haven't had to wear a mask anywhere else for at least a year! It seems this will never end and it has put me off having regular check ups as I feel extremely claustrophobic wearing masks.
Fantastic experience: Miley was very very nervous attending her emergency appointment today. But the dentist was amazing with her. He reassure miley and spoke to miley Like she was an adult. Fantastic experience: Dr Camderman and his team have been providing dental care for myself and family over the years and have consistently being amazing and professional. Dr Camderman is very friendly and caring, particularly to the kids making the whole experience of having their teeth looked after fun and a pleasant experience. His work is beyond first class thus I strongly recommend him.
Negative experience: Don’t suggest use Dr. Armand Camderman, very rude, bad work and attitude. My partner went fixing his tooth 3 times and ended up in private clinic with lots of pain. Doctors in private clinic was so surprised how can tooth be so badly treated, so now his have to fix 3 tooth’s instead of 1 because of bad treatment from Together dental.
Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at the practice for a number of years and always receive the highest level of care. The practice staff are always polite, kind and helpful, my dentist Dr Birgani is amazing and I would not want to visit any other dentist.
Negative experience: I have used this practice in its different guises for over 20 years initially with Sam Camderman and always pleased with service. This particular appointment undid all the good , I was 35 minutes late in and was treated abruptly and in fact rudely by my dentist on this appointment. The mask situation was very confusing and then everything was a rush I wasn't given time to explain anything , I feel totally let down by my experience. I will say the ladies on reception are great and totally professional which my dentist certainly wasn't after 2 years of no see, seriously needs to consider retirement. Having read some other reviews I am not the first to say this, rudeness should not be tolerated and especially in people we see as professional and we trust.
Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr A Poulsen for nearly 40 years and have always referred to him as 'butterfly fingers' - he is simply the best. Considerate, respectful and supremely professional.
Fantastic experience: After not being able to have a hygienist appt for over 3 years because of the pandemic I was in desperate need. I also suffer from sensitivity so wasn’t looking forward to it. Fantastic experience: Recieved a warm greeting at the reception. The lady was very thorough and efficient in ensuring my details were updated and correct. Before being asked to wait to be seen. I didnt have to wait long to be seen and again met with a warm welcome.
Fantastic experience: Helpful caring and excellent dental work. Got an emergency appointment same day and had treatment within hours. My Dad recomended them to me. Very professional and kind too. My previous dentist made mistakes evaluating my problems which caused me to be in excruciating pain for a week. Mr Sanderman was very quick to diagnose and provide appropriate treatment. I would definitely recommend and have confidence that high standards are maintained at this practice.
Fantastic experience: Brilliant service from start to finish. The lady on reception who took my initial phone call, was caring and sympathetic, and managed to book me in for later in the day. Armand was also caring and very professional. He could see I was very nervous and did all he could to put me at ease. Positive experience: Arrived 10 minutes ahead of appointment, was 15 minutes late going in to see the dentist. Dentist is always fast, efficient and professional as are the dental nurses. Next appointment made easily with reception.
Fantastic experience: Recently visited dentist Dr Armand Camderman at DenTeam Norwich for a check-up, assessment and emergency treatment including tooth extraction. All visits and treatment received were the best most positive experiences I have ever had at a dentist. Dr Camderman was the most professional, capable, friendly and gentle dentist I have ever been lucky enough to encounter. I am an extremely nervous patient and had been suffering with a problematic poorly tooth and was very worried about treatment, but it was dealt with by Dr Camderman so brilliantly - his expert skills to ensure treatment was performed with the least or no pain - I didn’t feel a thing (a miracle for a needle phobic), painlessly, he performed everything extremely calmly, delicately and swiftly. He was very gentle, patient and understanding, and the end result excellent. My faith in dentists has been restored, and I have been put at ease about going for any future treatments that may be needed - definitely absolutely seeing Dr Armand Camderman again for any routine check-ups and treatment if needed in the future. Thank you to him and his excellent professional team supporting him.

It was a very easy process, and Felipe explained all steps in depth and made sure we were happy with what the end result would look like. Fantastic experience: I have always felt really comfortable with the dentist I have seen and confident that he cares and is great at looking after my teeth and gums. Fantastic experience: A very busy practice and the staff work hard to keep on top of things, I went for a check up and had what I thought was a minor issue but thanks to Audrey Costa's diligence in checking she saved me from what would have been a painful infection had it been allowed to develop further. By sorting treatment the same day I am all fixed. A big thank you to all especially Audrey Costa.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Audrey Costa annually for many years. I can find find no fault with her or all the other staff. Because Audrey is in high demand, l sometimes do not get treated until after my appointed time. That is because she is so attentive that she does not hurry you out of treatment, being so thorough.
