Fantastic experience: Having a fear of dentists for more years than I dare mention, the time had come when I had to go due to my teeth being in a very bad way and very painful. I went to see Dr Ahmed and he was brilliant. Made be feel at ease straight away and so much patience. Thank you for making my fear so much better.

Positive experience: Genuine honest review after wisdom tooth extraction. I was extremely happy to find a place where they could assist with the difficult extraction of my wisdom tooth that was nearby and reasonably priced. They use numbing gel before the local anaesthetic to help with the pain. When having the extraction done, the surgeon applied numbing gel then immediately after applied the local which ment that it didn’t have time to work, I felt everything and he didn’t inform me of what he was doing before he did it. This made me very nervous and put me in an absolute state fear and anxiousness. I did ask for him to explain what he was doing before he did it but this was a struggle and I kept having to ask. I had to stop a few times during the extraction during the procedure due to pain and immense pressure of the procedure. I was able to take a break and sit up in the chair but didn’t get the chance to say I was ready for more he would just put me back when he thought I was ready. I was advised that when I want to stop, to put my hand up and this was ignored on multiple occasions leaving me screaming during the procedure. I was greatfull when the extraction was done that he was able and skilled enough to remove the tooth whole. I found the aftercare/advice to be contradicting and confusing. I was given a piece of paper with instructions which said no cold or hot food/drink until after the numbness wears off but I was advised to get an icecream straight away. I was also advised that I can only have 1 ibuprofen due to my medication which I consulted my pharmacist about and it was not true I can have a normal dose. Overall I’m happy to have the painful tooth gone and very impressed that it came out in one piece. However due to my experience I don’t think I will return. There was another gentleman and a lady in there during the procedure who I would like to say were great and tried to make up for the surgeons poor communication, they were kind and if it wasn’t for them I would not have had the procedure and would have most likely have walked out halfway through.

Fantastic experience: Got a short notice appointment for an emergency. Service was great and the dentist took time to talk through options and didn't rush me at all. Reasonable price for a private emergency dentist too, would recommend.

Positive experience: Booked an implant consultation and was advised the cost was £7995 for a single arch all inclusive. Unfortunately once there I was examined,had a scan and was given a totally different cost of £14995. The appointment was fine & my conversations with Sam were fine but Unfortunately the website is very misleading and I've come away from there very disappointed and feel they are offering nothing more than anyone else implant wise.

Fantastic experience: 5 stars is not enough - you can double it! I broke a front tooth off at the gum line - not a good look! It was very traumatic & I didn't know where to turn. Other dentists offered only an extraction and a 2 week wait for a bridge or denture. We are going on a trip with a big family group - grandparents, parents, grandchildren to celebrate a big event. Dr Ahmed stayed late after hours and did complex restoration in the chair so that I can leave on holiday with a smile. He was so caring, listened to all my concerns & holiday plans and found a solution to fix the tooth in time. Both he and Dr Hamsa were fantastic.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend, I'm very anxious about dentist but Dr Ahmed was very comforting. Removed my wisdom tooth with no issues, so grateful as I had been in pain for a while and had barely slept so booked an online appointment on a Sunday morning and was back home and pain free in no time.

Negative experience: After one day the fixing back of the crown has become lose. Whilst one pre fitting is included in an extortionate price of £250, the tooth should not be lose again within less than 24hrs! Responding to comment from dental practice: This is commenting on the service my wife received. They know this as they called yesterday immediately after I posted this, so surprised they have taken this approach. Just to clarify the practice is in Blackwater at the Blackwater Dental Surgery & Implant Centre.

Positive experience: I saw Dr Ahmed for my root canal treatment, crown fitting and check up over a couple of appointments within the last month. He was so calm, focused and caring that I managed to get through my treatment even as a very very nervous patient. He explained what was happening and was honest whenever there was a chance something might be uncomfortable for me. He is obviously very good at what he does as well because my tooth looks and feels amazing. Fantastic experience: If I could leave 100 stars I would. I was seen 2 hours after filling in online form. Assessed tooth out, a second then 4 embedded roots within 2 minutes. I was afraid but treated with gentle care and reassurance. All staff are warm and kind. Aftercare is available 24/7. I'm so relieved, it was all so quick and the whole team were fantastic!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Blackwater dental surgery. After being traumatised for 1 hour and 30 minutes at a diffrent private surgery for a tooth extraction then sent home and told to come back 4 days later to have sedation .. I called Blackwater surgery and spoke to Dr Hamza .. He reassured me that he could resolve this and do the extraction and within 45 minute of ending the call I was at the surgery and Dr Hamaz was so caring and understanding what I went through just a few hours earlier within 30 minutes my tooth was out and that was with Dr Hamaz reassuring me , taking a x-ray and making sure my tooth was completely numb before taking it out.. I can't thank Dr Hamaz enough.. Truly and highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: After having very sore gum pain since a hygienist appointment elsewhere, came here after searching for emergency dentist appointments. Wow I'm so happy I can officially say I'm changing dentist! Not only was the cost significantly less than what I'm currently paying (after being forced to go private from lack of NHS appointments) but it was beautifully clean and well maintained! I was seen quickly, given aftercare advice and what to do if it doesn't resolve! This dentist is a hidden gem!

Fantastic experience: Iv had a pain in my tooth for a while now and this morning it’s was too much so decided to get it sorted out I’m not very good with dentists but needed to do something so I called up and within an hour I got an appointment had an xray turns out I have 2 wisdom teeth and one had an infection within a couple minutes they where removed only felt a little pressure as it was infected but I’m very happy with the results and now pain free thank you so much would recommend and I will definitely be coming back

Negative experience: Refrain from engaging with the dental office. Our dental insurance plan we bought from the dentist covers teeth cleaning. This procedure we were unable to schedule due to a shortage of dental hygienists at this location. The office does not provide all services in-house, we were required to seek treatment from another dental facility, incurring additional expenses. Despite scheduling a filling appointment based on a cavity identified during x-rays, the office unexpectedly requested another set of x-rays upon our arrival, necessitating a rescheduled appointment. This deviation from the previously communicated plan is unacceptable.

Fantastic experience: Took my son Brandon there on Thursday where he removed a tooth and back on the Friday removed another tooth which has sorted the problem the dentist is really nice would definitely recommend him and would travel myself to go there couldn't have got a better service

Fantastic experience: After being in agony for 4-5 days with no sleep or food, I used my NHS dentist and 3 different private dentists in Basingstoke with not one willing to help. Within 20 minutes Dr Hamza had my tooth removed, the next morning I still had some issues so went to see him again and again he was brilliant. Couldn't recommend this dentist practice enough!
