Fantastic experience: Had to have a tooth extracted on Monday. Very impressed with the care I received. The receptionist was very friendly and the dental nurse was excellent. Keeping me informed at all times. My dentist did a brilliant job. The nurse explained about care of mouth after removal. Very happy overall with treatment provided. Would definitely recommend them.

Fantastic experience: The dentist we saw was amazing with my Daughter. She was so scared having 3 of her milk teeth removed getting ready for braces. But the dentist was great took the time to explain to my daughter what was going to happen and really put her at ease.

Fantastic experience: Apart from the difficulty in getting an appointment by telephone ( I eventually went to the practice and arranged an appointment with the receptionist) the service and the slickness of the procedure by the dentist was impressive. I am awarding 5 stars for the dental procedure rather than the whole experience from trying to arrange an emergency appointment to the procedure being carried out - that would get 4 stars

Negative experience: I normally have a good experience with this dentist but my child’s appointment has now been cancelled by the surgery 4 times! Yes 4 times. She is now well over 6 months overdue for her appointment. I keep rescheduling but it gets cancelled. Do better Damira this is unacceptable else given we are private patients paying for your services Update: the reason it kept getting cancelled was because they themselves kept scheduling the appointment with the wrong dentist who then kept rejecting the appointment apparently! 6 months this has been going on and only just established

Fantastic experience: Why do I have to fill out pages of questions prior to every visit. It’s the same every time Surely just asking when I check in if there are any changes would be sufficient. Also I see there is only one person on the reception now which means queues and keeping the dentist waiting at times Otherwise no complaints everyone was pleasant and informative

Fantastic experience: Reception staff are great but very disappointed with Hygienist service the surgery cancelled my first appointment due to staff sickness which is ok but on the morning of my rebooked appointment the surgery phoned to changed the appointment a second time with just 20 minutes notice as I was about to leave for appointment I asked could I change this time as I had another very important hospital appointment to attend too I was then told if I cancel I loose my deposit. So why is it ok for the dental surgery to change appointments or rearrange with patients as their services change but when we ask for a little leeway we are then told it’s at our expense !

Fantastic experience: A routine examination; a very satisfactory experience. I arrived in good time and was seen after waiting only a few minutes beyond the scheduled time. The dentist was friendly, efficient and constructive. I was finished and out of the building inside 15 minutes, so a very slick process with which I was very satisfied.

Fantastic experience: Egle and her assistant are the dream team. I have a very quick gagging reflex if water hits it. Had my mouth open for nearly an hour and did not gag once!!!! Egle is so gentle when working on the teeth. Would highly recommend but make sure I can still get in when she gets booked up too much. Thank you for the best treatment I’ve experienced

Positive experience: 6 monthly visit, still waiting 30 minutes later, asked reception lady was the dentist running late and was told yes. I asked was it because of emergency appointments being seen before scheduled appointments. No, asked the dentist and was told the call centre keeps adding appointments! Why do you think this is a positive review, stock answer and no reply in relation to putting emergency patients/more money before booked appointments!

Fantastic experience: Dr Pritsos and his assistant were brilliant. I have a phobia of dental treatments so I was really nervous. They were both very patient and empathetic. Dr Pritsos administered the injection the most gentle way I ever had it done and allowed me to take breaks when I needed to. He worked very efficiently, which helped, because I couldn't wait to get out of the chair overall, I highly recommend him and his assistant!

Negative experience: Pretty rude admins, and the dentist staff turnaround is remarkable, you could power a generator from it. I was threatened with being removed because I cancelled an appointment. This was because I caught COVID and I tested that day. In an effort to protect them I was threatened. I've moved to another dentist now.

Negative experience: Very rude and unempathetic, I went for an appointment 3 weeks ago and they did not spot an abcess even though I was In pain and a few weeks later had to pay for emergency treatment with another dentist. I went back to ask if my tooth and gums were OK and he told me I should go to other dentist who i had the emergency appointment with and laughed at me, very unprofessional, I asked why the problem had not been spotted even though I said I have pain there and he said we would have to take 10 xrays to see it, then told me next appointment was 2 years, i have a dental plan with you and want to cancel now as not comfortable seeing him again, i have raised a complaint too

Negative experience: Poor to say the least. Arrived to be told that my appointment had been moved to the following day which I could not do. Asked to come back an hour later as that was the only time I could be fitted in. Arrived back to be then kept waiting another 35 minutes until I reminded them I was still waiting. This is not the first time there has been issues with appointments- not just mine but my son’s and daughters. Often cancelled even when booked for a year in advance. Have been threatened that a I had missed the appointment that I would be removed from their books until I showed them the message they had sent cancelling! A little bit sick and tired of the unprofessional approachable and would like to see the same dentist rather than a locum! Have emailed practice manager over a week ago with a complaint and still not even an acknowledgement- obviously not that worried about customer satisfaction!

Fantastic experience: Nhs patient. Rang Wednesday afternoon, given an emergency appointment for Thursday morning. Seen on time , prescribed medication and given a letter of introduction to hospital for surgical intervention should it be needed. Abscesses are not pleasant, but the dentist was very patient and thorough, explaining everything plainly. Have been a happy patient there for several years.

Very friendly with my 6 year old, showing him my x-rays they took of my teeth on the computer screen The other woman (who's name I didn't catch, sorry) was also kind and chatty with my little man which I was very grateful for! Took time to explain the health of our teeth and run through a treatment plan for my daughter’s teeth as she required a filling. Explained the probably causes (deep fissure). Fantastic experience: I needed an emergency appointment at west street yesterday and rang at 830 and got an appointment for just after 9am. By 930 I had been seen, xrayed and was off to collect antibiotics . Christoph was friendly and very reassuring My only criticism is that I rang the practice answerphone on Sunday lunchtime and the message said to ring NHS direct , which I did , they took over 24 hours to get back to me . There was no mention of the walk in clinic at the Sharland Damira practice in Fareham and I was completely unaware that this was an option. By the time I had googled emergency dentist in the afternoon sharland said they couldn’t see me and advised me to get to the practice before 8 on Monday morning . I arrived at just before 8, the receptionist booked me in but suggested that I ring west street to get an emergency appointment if I could . So I waited in the waiting room for over half an hour, fl largely ignored by the staff until I eventually got through to west street and made an appointment there

Positive experience: Routine six-monthly check. Pleasant young male dentist, indicated that he hoped to provide some degree of continuity - there have been a number of locums and short-term dentists over past two years. The examination was rather brief - he was satisfied with the state of teeth and gums - as this was the twice year NHS dental check.

Positive experience: Damira has a habit of cancelling appointments, ours was rescheduled twice, I think it's because we're NHS not private so lower priority but, having said, that The dentist himself was lovely, he and his assistant helped make my 5 year old feel calm for which I am grateful.
