Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing experience with Oral Hygienist Francesca Leigh. One of the best dentists I’ve ever had an appointment with. She was extremely focused on my wellbeing whilst focusing on the task at hand, making me feel as comfortable as possible throughout the whole process. She was the only person in the room but she had complete control of the situation and it was probably the best dental experience I’ve ever had. Highly recommend her as well as this dental practice!

Fantastic experience: My anxiety is through the roof when I have to visit the dentist but yesterday was a very pleasant experience I was made very welcome by the receptionist my dentist Omar assured me all would be fine and he kept me calm throughout my treatment reassuring me it was all good which I thank him for. my treatment was great painless infact all round a pleasant visit.I think my blood pressure and heart rate are back to normal now

Negative experience: Had trouble getting my prescription due to the dentists handwriting, the practice wasn't helpful in getting this fixed and I was left in agony due to a filling over an inflamed nerve

Positive experience: Cracked a tooth just before we went on holiday, they fitted me in the next day. Dentist put a temporary filling and explained I would need a proper filling when in 2 weeks time, booked it there and then.

Fantastic experience: After being treated horrendously at my private dentist I ended up having to call 111 the got me and emergency appointment at Sharland House that day upon arrival was greeted by reception who booked me in and took my payment and was very polite went into see Dr Fabio who dealt with my emergency root canal straight away made everything so pleasurable and the lowest point in my life being in so much pain left pain free and fixed. My dentist who I pay a plan with charged me two emergency fees and earliest they could book me in was end of July and told me I needed root canal and removal of wisdom teeth which was a lie and would have charged me £1500 I'm so pleased that I have found Fabio and Sharland house thank u for everything

Positive experience: Went to Sharland for emergency appointment I’m nhs as I’m 70 and get pc however Havant been able to get free dentist for 2 years so this was a private appointment I was delt with quickly dentist was very good. But very expensive over 2 appointments cost me £4-£500 . As I need dentures that will be close t £1000. As an oap this is out of my reach thanks to starmer and his motley crew.

Negative experience: Only reason I'm writing this review is to warn people not to make the same mistake I did or waste their time/money. Called at 8am in the morning to be told to arrive at 2pm (said get there earlier as sometimes there's a queue) for an emergency appt. Got there at 140 and the doors opened at 2pm all for the receptionist to take one look at the computer and say we are fully booked today yet we can offer a private appt. I told them I called this morning and was told that I can get a nhs appt but may have to wait a while which I didnt mind, the receptionist said those calls are handled else where and don't know what are diary looks like. Looking at other reviews it looks like this is a regular occurrence. Seems like a scam, as they get you to go there and then say we only have private available. I had to book childcare for this appt so I had already spent money and was not willing to pay private costs.

Negative experience: This place refused to give me treatment last time. And yesterday they refused to see me for new issues and there reasoning of not helping was they can’t help. Which is pathetic as they are a dentist and I got pain in my cheeks and swelling. Then today they refused an emergency appointment through 111. Then they block my number and they said I was on the waiting list still. They said was 6 months a few months ago now they saying over a year to three. They are lying and lying to me. Please someone shut this place down. I’m getting discriminated. I waited and gave them time to reply to me, not over contacted, I been patient despite it worsening my issues they just don’t help me and I don’t know why.
Negative experience: I booked a private emergency appointment for a problem with a wisdom tooth that was causing great pain, at a cost of £65. The dentist told me I had a small hole in the tooth and filled it. He then prescribed me Codeine and Amoxycillin and told me if the problem persists I should book another appointment. Five days later the pain had increased exponentially and so I contacted the dentist again. I was told they could not see me for a few more days. I booked an emergency appointment at a different dentist and was seen the same day. The new dentist told me that the tooth had a crack in it that went all the way to the root and the best option was extraction; this was then done quickly and completely painlessly at the same appointment. If the original dentist had been competent, I would not have had to suffer five days of intense pain; the tooth should have been extracted on my first visit. My advice to you is to not use Damira.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service by a Greek dentist at Sharland House, rather than my usual West Street. I was given an emergency appointment at 11:00 the same day very efficiently by the switchboard. If I may make a suggestion, include a “you are no. X in the queue””, in your telephone message. Fantastic experience: Rang at 8.30am without any hesitation after explaining symptoms had an emergency appt given same day. Mr Charalampos Papantonis absolutely brilliant, I have a fear of dentists and though my anxiety was high he reassured me every step of the way, explaining what he was doing and going to do. Fantastic experience: Just a check up, no problems. Was advised about seeing a hygienist now and again. Saw the hygienist, I hadn’t seen one for several years so a bit of work! Francine very kind and kept asking if I was ok, my teeth felt ultra clean afterwards.

Positive experience: I contacted the clinic on Monday to request an emergency appointment and was advised to attend the following day at 8:00 AM. However, upon arrival, I was informed that my appointment had not been confirmed and that the staff member responsible for scheduling was not available that day. I was subsequently given a new appointment for the next day at 11:15 AM. On that occasion, I waited an additional 1 hour and 45 minutes to see the doctor. Although I had arranged to leave work for only one hour, the entire visit took approximately three hours. While I have a high regard for the doctors and the quality of care they provide, I believe greater clarity and accuracy in appointment scheduling would be beneficial.

Fantastic experience: As a very nervous patient who was traumatised as a small child by a dentist I was extremely anxious about having an extraction. Lina and her assistant were amazing. They put me at ease, were very kind and let me go at my own pace. It was a big molar but they dealt with me with patience. Making sure I was understanding what was happening and why. Fantastic experience: I saw Dr. Charalampos and his assistant Amy today to get a filling redone that had fallen out over a year ago, and I couldn't be happier with the result. Dr. Charalampos did an absolutely amazing job – the filling looks so natural, it’s like nothing ever happened! His attention to detail and skill are seriously impressive. He made the whole experience really comfortable and stress-free. Amy was lovely and supportive throughout too. Huge thanks especially to Dr. Charalampos – I’m so happy with how it turned out! Positive experience: Organisation seems to be improving although still a lot of appointments get cancelled at the last minute. I had an appointment with vignesh who was absolutely brilliant, very clear and informative on what was happening and made me feel very relaxed.

Negative experience: I called on Saturday around 430 for an emergency appointment on the Sunday. I was told they dont book the Sunday emergency appointments, you have to just turn up and it's first come first served. Either 8am or 2pm. I was there at 730am, first in the cue. Just to be told when we went in , that they were only seeing major face swelling cases that morning. Which none of the 5 in the queue were told. We alm had made our journeys for no reason. So I called 24/7 emergency dentist and they got me booked in over waterlooville

Negative experience: Went to emergency dentist at 8am Sunday for chipped tooth - only taking severe swellings - told to come back at 2pm as would be able to be seen then - came back and they were still only taking severe swellings - they sent at least 5 people away at 8am as our broken teeth or pain were not "severe" enough. Were told to call 111 who said that they could not make appointments but when I said that when I went back at 2pm I was told they could - whole thing is completely ridiculous!!!! I travelled from 30 minutes away to see them both times as it is "closest" emergency dentist - told to come back and chance it the following day but I can't as I am at work!!!

Positive experience: I must say that my visit yesterday was a great experience. The dentist Omar was smashing … lovely personality, very ‘can do this ‘ attitude . Explaining everything and discussing my X-rays pointing out the problems and the possible outcomes - good or not so good . I found the whole treatment relaxing ( I suffer with anxiety) that if I hadn’t had to make sure my mouth remained wide open I felt as though I could of had a nap. PLEASE government give money to local dentists for all those NHS patients who are struggling to get appointments! Thanks

Fantastic experience: I had to have an emergency appointment today for a broken front tooth. My normal dentist, Omar, wasn’t available so I saw Dr Lina, she was fantastic, explained all my options, put me at ease and did an amazing job to fix my tooth until I see Omar for an nhs crown. You wouldn’t know it was a ‘composite’ filling where the tooth used to be. Simply stunning! Thank you again. And also to the reception staff who are always lovely.

Fantastic experience: I visited Sharland for a routine appointment for my daughter whom is Autistic and is very anxious when attending. The lady on reception called Amy, was very helpful and chatted and reassured her lots. Once inside the dentist was amazing with her, she explained everything she did step by step and gave her the opportunity to look at how it worked before completing the task. Negative experience: I'm not good with dentists they terrifie me. But my dentist I've seen a few times and it's the same thing every time. See hygienist, u need teeth whitening. He don't accurately look at my teeth if he does it's seconds. He's useles. No help at all. Changed to another dentist in the same practice. Staff lovely. Nice and clean.

Fantastic experience: Emergency appointment arranged at short notice for a broken molar. Dental staff very helpful and efficient arranging an appointment as soon as could be arranged. Positive experience: I always try and book the 1st appointment of the day 8am so that I can get in before work. Unfortunately the last couple of visits I have sat around for 20mins waiting to be called. No apparent reason for the delay, and no information from reception as to why. Also appointments have been regularly cancelled and rescheduled because of unforeseen circumstances. Other than that once you get in to see a dentist I have had no problems at all. All of the staff are friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: To me this is the best dental practice ever! I had a very bad experience when I was young which left me petrified to see a dentist. I use to wait no longer than 5 minutes in the waiting room have a massive panic attack and just ran out of the surgery, I also have P.T.S.D & Bipolar 1 which doesn’t help me at all. However I came across Fabrio unexpectedly and have never looked back! He is just wonderful he makes me relax and even laughing most visits. As a dentist what ever I have had done I have never felt any pain ever and his work is really beautiful he is an artist in his own right as a dentist and you dont get many of those! I don’t want to miss out in saying when I go into Damira I can be a bit nervous when it’s an unknown thing but the receptionist is lovely , she tells it how it is but always comforts you and settles me down completely also the dental nurses are just as pleasant and very calming! Fabrio tells me everything that’s happening and am sure he sees if I am getting a bit worried so without asking he adds more pain relief which is great, because I am too shy to ask! He is a keeper and Damira dentists are so lucky to have him working under your name NHS and PRIVATE! Please say a big thank you to every member of staff as it’s a wonderful dentist! …………Jo Oleary x

Fantastic experience: I love Fabio! Amazing dentist and cheers you up/makes you laugh when you are at your lowest in life with immense tooth pain. Negative experience: Honestly poor service , The lady Dentist is not professional, She filled my tooth with unprofessionally and my teeth hurt after that , i was unable to eat food I never had pain on my left teeth , only felt pain right back teeth while eat hard food . After done this i am having so much pain and i went there 2nd day and gave me antibiotics and i am taking antibiotics but still have pain after taking antibiotics I am only blaming her because of her i am going through with non stop pain and not able to work Even Antibiotic is not working After i went there my pain become very worse Very bad service

Positive experience: Not pleasant at all but with what I had done it was never going to be comortable and was warned, and more to come at the cost if £2550 as NHS wont cover it and the treatment is private. Despite that. I found that I wasnt kept waiting. It was efficient but uncomfortable laying in the chair for a hour and a half with mouth open. They could do nothing else so all in all I really cannot complain

Fantastic experience: Nice warm welcome to the surgery on arrival. Minimal waiting times and the dentist was on time for my appointment. Negative experience: If I could give zero stars I would. We have booked our daughter (6) an appointment in June which was cancelled, rebooked and cancelled again several times. We are now in February and have still not had an appointment, Appalling service.

Negative experience: Called for emergency dental extraction. Was given an appointment and I confirmed with reception that the tooth would be removed at the appointment. Got to appointment to find out it was a 15 minute check up appointment and the extraction would need to be booked for another day. Advised I had confirmed at time of booking that tooth would be removed but reception still insisted it was only a check up appointment. Dentist very nice but now have to wait another 5 days for extraction!!

Negative experience: Phoned up for the procedure for walk in emergencies. Was told to turn up before 2pm and I will have to wait in a queue to be seen, but couldn’t tell me how long I would wait. As it was my day off I didn’t mind waiting till closing if it meant I could be seen. Turned up, was 3rd in queue and was told there are no more emergency appointments today, and to come back tomorrow at 8am. So I drove 5 miles, got 3 hours parking to be told in under 10 minutes of waiting that I can’t be seen. They asked what the problem was, a painful wobbly tooth that really needs to come out, was told that they probably wouldn’t be able to do that anyway. I’ve been on the NHS waiting list for 18 months with Damira with no luck. The dentistry industry in this country is a joke. Oh well been in pain for a year so I will just put up with it, I am saving up to go private just so I can get an appointment somewhere in Hampshire.

Positive experience: I'm so angry. I never normally leave reviews, but felt I needed to on this one. Good dentist overall. But todays service was appalling. I had an appointment booked, after having to email back and forth to the company, as the appointment wasn't actually made until I made a complaint via email to get it rebooked for the date it was meant to be on. As the phone line is always apparently busy. As the receptionist didn't book it in properly, the last time I was there. Moments before arriving for the appointment, after alot of anxiety to have my teeth extracted. The appointment was cancelled. I'd booked annual leave from work for recovery time. Then to be told the next earliest appointment was the middle of February. Which I now have to cancel my annual leave, request more annual leave at such short notice. I had to wait for the receptionist for 10 - 15 minutes as they weren't at the desk. Not a single apology was given. Before that because I have ongoing treatment in December, I asked to book the final appointment. And the appointment leading up to the final one was cancelled and remade instead, delaying treatment and remade in January. How long does this work have to go on for? Big discomfort and some pain does not need to go on like this. I would have been fine, if I had received an apology and was given an appointment that was not so far away. Waste of my time, really. Very distressing. Please be more sincere to your patients. People are working hard through discomfort and pain to make ends meet, through these difficult times we are facing. My patience is wearing thin.

Positive experience: Sharland house was great after my previous Damira appointment with a different practice got suddenly moved to a very inconvenient time This dentist was knowledgeable and professional and I will be going back to get my tooth removed next week. I just find it all so expensive as I'm not a nhs patient. £260 to remove a tooth, £60 for an emergency appointment plus xray.

Fantastic experience: I attended surgery for a tooth extraction. All the staff were kind and efficient and I was kept informed about the procedure at all times. I thoroughly recommend this professional and caring practice.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic service. In and out within 20mins. Was given a prescription for some antibiotics without being charged a penny as I’m pregnant. My own dentist wouldn’t see me without a fee of over £100 and that wasn’t including any medication or actual treatment. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth extracted by Fabio and he is honestly the best dentist I have ever been to. I wouldn’t go to anyone else. As far as tooth extractions go it was pretty pain free and he made me feel really at ease

Fantastic experience: The dentist and staff are amazing. Always make me feel at ease. Got me in, in a speedy manner for an emergency appointment. Did far more for me than previous dentists and ensured a follow up appointment was scheduled in. Best dentist I've ever had.
