Negative experience: Been at this dentist for over 3 years now and they use to be good but they’ve let me down a lot recently. Firstly, back in January, the dentist and receptionist told me I was being referred for a specialist and should hear back in 6 months. I called in May to check on any updates as I hadn’t heard anything and I wanted to make sure I did miss any letters to be told by a confused receptionist that I was never referred in the first place. She allowed me to speak to the same dentist who also confirmed I’d never been referred and when I told her she had said she would referred me, she said “those referrals are usually for people who have had a mouth guard for at least two years” to which I replied “I’ve had mine for 3”. They have since referred me but I’ve lost all that time now thinking I was referred when I wasn’t. Secondly, I had to cancel an appointment today due to a family emergency. I was told I was going to be charged for the appointment anyways. I’m pretty upset as I’ve been at this dentist for years and I’ve never once done this and as it is a last minute emergency, I couldn’t have known beforehand. Overall, unsure if I’m going to stick with them as it’s been pretty disappointing service this year.
Positive experience: This clinic is very clean and professional, starting from the receptionists, who are very helpful. I've been a client for a while now, and Dr. Aaron was my doctor. He was kind, professional, and helpful. Unfortunately, he's no longer here. Today, I was seen by Dr. Romain for a checkup, and my experience with him wasn't nice. As an NHS client, I felt he made me feel like it was a burden. He seemed rushed, a little rude, and made me uncomfortable. I felt like I wasted my time coming to the clinic today. The 4 stars are for the clinic and Dr. Aaron. I will continue my journey in this clinic because is my first time filing this way, I believe another doctor can treat me the same way as Dr Aaron did, professional but I will never see this last doctor again.

Fantastic experience: i would like to say : Thank you to Dr Romain. Today I visited the practice and the appointment was very good. I’m currently getting complex invisalign treatment to achieve a wonderful smile transformation. Dr Romain has explained everything to me very well. I am very happy with the care, attention to detail and professionalism he has shown. I will definitely recommend him to anyone if they need invisalign treatment or any other dental care! Negative experience: I really don't understand the good reviews. Look at the responses to legitimate negative reviews for an indication of their professionalism. First off, service was OK, though significant delays meant that I ended up spending over an hour there for what should have been 30 minutes. The dentist is very pushy and tries to sell a lot of procedures, literally one thing after another during the 15 minute check up appointment I had. No other dentist I've been to recently has suggested I need e.g. botox to prevent damage from teeth grinding, expensive personalized mouthguards, gap removal, teeth strengthening/whitening etc. I literally just went in for a check up! In general, the staff are running around a lot and seem to be a bit lost. I had my hygiene appointment interrupted by a member of staff needing to switch out the nurse, and as I was waiting I saw lots of staff randomly burst into the room when patients were being seen without knocking. Also, they keep calling you to give you a "friendly" reminder of your appointment, which is never actually on time anyway. I don't need to be reminded about it 3-4 times via phone call, text message etc. About 15 minutes before my last appointment (and I mean last - ever!) the receptionist called me to ask me to come in earlier and seemed annoyed when I said I couldn't. Like I can just drop everything and go...? None of these things on their own are an issue but coupled with the long wait times, overly pushy dentists and the practice itself, I am definitely going to go elsewhere in the future.

Fantastic experience: Hi everyone! I was referred to Dr Mani Nasir by a friend who has been with him for years. I took this recommendation and made my first appointment with Dr Mani and I must say, was extremely impressed. He explained in detail what was going to be done in that very appointment - so my expectations were met. He kept me engaged in my treatment plan and gave me the option's available. He offered me time to think about what path he would like to choose. He’s a delightful dentist, would never change him. I have recommended him to my family who shall be moving to Dr Mani. For those of you who are thinking what treatment I had, well I had a tooth extraction (my worst nightmare) but once again Dr Mani was amazing! He made sure I was ok throughout the procedure, constantly checking with me and believe me I was shocked I didn’t even feel a thing Thank you Dr Mani, keep up the excellent work and look forward to meeting you next month! Negative experience: So I booked an appointment on the 28/5/25 for a check up, as the dentist sent a reminder. I mentioned to the receptionist that my filling had cracked, which wasn't causing any significant pain. She gave me a few dates which were unsuitable, so I settled for the 4/6/25 which was perfect for after work. I visited the surgery today and was seen by Dr Manny Nasir, he checked the tooth, and took an x-ray, he couldn't treat it now but could put a temporary cover which wasn't necessary but will last about a week. I asked if he was going to do the checkup, he told me it was booked as an emergency appointment, as the receptionist recorded it as a chipped tooth. I tried to discuss that I didn't book an emergency but a checkup, as it wasn't causing any major discomfort. I didn't want to pay for something that I didn't need or receive. He cut me off and said that he doesn't know what the receptionist said to me, but proceeded to defend her anyway. Told me I was very disrespectful for refusing to pay and that I will be blacklisted. I said I would be happy to pay for a checkup. So no treatment, and refused to do the check-up. He said let's go and speak to the receptionist, nothing was discussed, he outright told them to blacklist me from the surgery. I have never seen anything so unprofessional, and I feel it was a blatant underhanded method of garnering money for nothing. I have been a patient since 2008 and have never had a problem with them before and I live over 30 minutes away. Now I wonder why I have had three different dentists since late 2023 as they keep leaving.

Negative experience: My refund has not been processed despite chasing on numerous occasions and providing all the information they requested over 6 weeks ago! Change in company ownership is not a good enough reason to not process a refund.

Fantastic experience: Dr Perez worked on 2 implants on opposite sides of the mouth, one of them more complicated than most. I've been very happy with the care and professionalism he has conducted all the sessions from the first consultation to the final one. He is friendly and approachable, making sure you feel at ease during all the sessions. It is also very reassuring that he is always happy to answer any questions you may have, explaining clearly all steps and details of the care plan he offers.

Positive experience: I have infected front tooth, which is painful and swollen and has puss coming out of it i tried rinsing with salt water but it keeps coming back up so i rang dentist for appointment even though I'm scared of dentists and i was given one for next day which was great, dentist told me tooth had to come out, i explained that because it's in the front, for personal reasons i wouldn't be able to have it taken out for a month and could they just get rid of infection until then, i was told antibiotics would clear infection but it could eventually come back and was refused antibiotics, so I still have painful infected tooth with puss coming out until i can go back in a month to have it out. Thankyou for replying to my review and i will be having the tooth out as soon as I can, but just to clarify, i wasn't given antibiotics, i was refused them

Positive experience: Very polite, organised and professional Edit: Hello, I am going to have to change my rating. My last two visits were disappointing. I got hit on my teeth with the dentists' tool twice. A bit unprofessional, are they in a rush to see as many people as possible? Also, the dentist who suggested I get a filling started raising his voice repeating the same thing when I asked about the situation. I am not deaf, I just care about my pearls.

Negative experience: Cumbersome booking process, requiring me to fill in forms online prior to appointment. Incompetent doctors that couldn't help my situation, but more than happy to charge me full price for their failure. Wanted to charge me again for another examination (at another date), so they can write a "referral letter". they are like scams stay away from it

I’ve recently had an issue with very bad jaw pain and my dentist, Mani has been really helpful trying to figure out what is causing it. He was even kind enough to respond to a question I had emailed him with a very reassuring phone call. This level of care really counts. I thoroughly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Over the last few months I have embarked on a programme of pretty complex restorative dental work. From the outset I have found the staff of the Dental Care Centre to be extremely helpful and sensitive to my particular circumstances. At every stage they have provided detailed quotes at a price which I have found to be affordable. Would definitely recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Polite staff dentist explained what he will be doing. Asked if I any questions concerns regarding the procedure before he was about to begin. Answered my questions with clarity. Negative experience: I booked a hygienist appointment 6 months ago for today, only to arrive at the practice and be told at reception that my appointment had been cancelled, without informing me. Needless to say I was annoyed, albeit secretly slightly happy as let's face it, who really enjoys seeing the hygienist! Very disorganised, poor communication and hopefully this will not happen again in future!
Fantastic experience: Saw doctor Mani and he had a couple of patients before me were running late, which caused some delays which were out of his control. The way he communicated was fantastic. Really reassuring throughout my visit and I was in and out after a filling within 20 minutes. It’s hard to find great dentists nowadays, that show that they care but both the dentists and hygienists here are exceptional.

Fantastic experience: I have used this surgery in the past and returned to use it back again in the last 2 years. So far I have not yet managed to find another dentist surgery that really care for my oral wellbeing so well like the Dental Care Centre. Fantastic experience: If fact, my appointment was cancelled, I did not check my text message before leaving the house. When I got there I was seen by someone else, in fact she was excellent. It was the next day when I looked at my messages I realised that my appointment was cancelled. I was shocked by the fact that they saw me and did not ask me to go back home. Negative experience: I paid the consultation fee 35£, and the dentist did not even have the necessary tools to solve my problem. Due to this, I had to leave without any further intervention. Very disappointed as I paid for no reason. Nothing has been done to me just the dentist looking at me without understanding a clue about how and what to do. I ve been offered treatments I didn’t require like x Ray and gum “enlargement” in order to remove a crown. Obviously I refused any intervention to be done as I was afraid major damage to be caused. I find dentists very young without experience. Teeth are very important and a sensitive subject so major care should be taken. Please don’t put yourself and your smile in the wrong hands :)
Fantastic experience: I visited The Dental Care Centre on 19th December 2024, and I had an excellent experience. Dr. Romain Prasad was extremely professional, thorough, and friendly. He checked my teeth for decay and gave them a clean, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The clinic was clean, modern, and welcoming, and the staff were polite and helpful throughout my visit. Fantastic experience: I joined the dental care centre almost 2 years ago and for the first time sought treatment for my wonky cross bite teeth. Dr Romain Prasad recommended me the Invisalign treatment and the results have been outstanding and beyond what I expected. Dr Prasad made sure to take extra care and explained every step of the process which I appreciated a lot having never had braces or orthodontic care before. The treatment has given me the confidence to show my teeth as I smile and I couldn’t appreciate more the service provided by Dr Prasad and the Dental Care Centre. Fantastic experience: Reception staff are very friendly and helpful on the phone. A gold crown that had been placed by this dental centre many years ago and that had lasted well fell out unexpectedly at lunchtime. I was seen at an emergency appointment at 3:30 pm the same day, only hours later. Hannah the dentist was reassuring and performed the procedure of cementing the crown to the tooth again very efficiently and gave time to make sure that I was happy with the result. A great service, provided at NHS minimal cost price.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly receptionists..The dentists are also very friendly, professional and good at putting kids at ease. My children are never afraid to visit! I myself am not dental fan...But it's a very chilled practice with loads of younger, very skilled dentists.

Fantastic experience: Dr Anisa was very friendly,and very informative about explaining the xray of my mouth regarding my gum disease. I was able to ask questions whilst looking at xray screen and it really helped me to see and understand the condition of my mouth and the next stage needed to see a periodontist. I like tge Dental practice ,friendly warm staff,very calm and relaxing waiting areas light and spacious. I'm glad I discovered this practice and will be seeking further treatment,I feel assured that my dental treatment will be of very good standard. Second bookedappointment with peridontist for an assessment follow up from Hygienist 6.11.24. Very polite man and friendly.I had quite alot of anxiety about how bad my gums and damage to jaw bone. Throughout the whole examination I was given honest details in a very clear and informative way that I felt reassured by his professionalism,his ability to calm my mind and trust thatcI was in safe hands.Very open and honest when I asked questions and explained everything in great detail,I learnt alot and came away filled with hope.This private practise is 100% worth visiting and will be my permanent dental care practice,I am currently with a good private dental practice in Lee Green with a good review but this practise is worth transferring to personally for me. Negative experience: I went to Dental Care Centre recently to get my fixed retainer glued back in. I saw lots of positive reviews online and the contact I had with the centre beforehand was really good. Unfortunately my experience wasn’t very good, the retainer let loose within 24h. I also felt like I was listening to a sales pitch for different dental care for about 5 mins (the appointment was only 10-15mins). I sent in a complaint and never heard back. I’m not saying it’s a bad centre, but my personal experience was just bad.
Dear Lucy You were informed at your appointment i quote from your notes 'Lower fixed retainer debonded on LR3 and pt wants to have it rebonded. 'Lower fixed retainer repaired with composite flow. Pt given a guarded prognosis for lower fixed retainer. ' To interpret this, it means that your retainer which you did not have done at our clinic had debonded, and we warned you it may debond again. You paid £35 which is a subsidised rate, you were not even charged for the actual treatment.

Fantastic experience: We have only just registered. Both myself and my daughter get severe anxiety around dentist even just going into a practice is sets off out anxiety, (due to some really bad experiences,) The reception were second to none and made us feel so welcome and were very understanding already put at ease, the appointment was quick infact the very next day, again my daughters anxiety kicked in and she got very upset. Her dentist spike to us talked us through and she became still nervous but calmer from our experience and the way the dentist was understanding it left us feeling more comfortable and my daughter has requested to keep to the same dental nurse for each appointment this just goes to show that he clearly made her much more comfortable after just 1 visit.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly dental practice and I felt very comfortable, I was relaxed and had my eyes closed. I didn't feel no pain whatsoever. Every step of the way I was asked if I was okay, which was perfect for me. I had 2 teeth taken out and it was really quick. Also nice and clean practice.

Negative experience: Would avoid, as dentists upsell unnecessary treatment. Was told I grinded my teeth in my sleep (never noticed this before, and no dentist ever mentioned this to me, but naively I believed this) so was told to purchase a mouthguard. I was misquoted the price, and ended up having to pay more. The dentist was actually told off by the receptionist for this. I have since moved dentists, and have been told there's no evidence of any grinding of teeth. It's an upsell ploy to make more money and don't believe it!
Dear Kirsty The only Kirsty L on on our records is one which had a record of failing to attend several times, it would he useful if you can divulge your full name. Additionally we have never recieved a complaint to the practice or any clinical complaint that has been upheld. We have the highest amount of regulation of any industry and if there was a genuine complaint it would have been dealt with by our world class clinical team that include some board certified specialist surgeons. Indeed we are often referred cases by other dentists. In relation to you grinding teeth its not uncommon for patients not to know and the evidence will be on your teeth! We're all about prevention and not missing anything out. Fantastic experience: From the reception staff, to the hygienists and surgery doctors, this team provided exceptional service and kindness. I am a nervous dental patient and they were accommodating and patient. They went above and beyond to ensure I was content with the look and feel of my finished dental work.
