Fantastic experience: I was a little nervous about my root canal treatment as I was told it was quite a complicated one and I had never had such treatment before. I was referred to Sharrow Vale Dental Care by my dentist so was new to the practice. I needn't have worried. Everyone was lovely, supportive and kind and the procedure was absolutely fine. I didn't have any pain during or after (I didn't need post-op pain killers at all) and Michael explained the process throughout. Thank you to Michael, Lucy (?), the dental nurse and the reception staff. Would definitely recommend this practice and reassure anyone about root canal treatment now.

Galer, the dentist I saw was exactly what I needed. She came up with a plan that has worked out perfectly. Fantastic experience: I don’t usually leave reviews, but felt I needed to in this instance. I was referred to Mike Jones by my dentist for a root canal procedure on my upper incisor and had my appointment yesterday. I am an extremely anxious patient, and had never had any dental work done so wasn’t sure what to expect. I needn’t have worried. Mike and the dental nurse (I’m so sorry, I can’t remember her name but she was lovely!) were wonderful from start to finish. Reception team were also so warm and welcoming. I explained my worries, and felt listened to and reassured. The injections, which I was most anxious about, were honestly painless and over so quickly. I was reassured and coached by Mike throughout this process which helped massively. The procedure itself went really smoothly, and I felt informed and looked after throughout the whole process. I can genuinely say my fear of the dentist has pretty much gone, and this is thanks to the kindness and professionalism of Mike and his team. I feel brilliant today, with no pain or sensitivity at all. Genuinely, thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: I recently moved to Sharrow Vale Dental Care after my original dentists sold out to a national company and their service went downhill. A family friend recommended Sharrow Vale to me, I've just had my second visit and happy to say the service and treatment from everyone I've met is brilliant. I am a very nervous person when it comes to visiting the dentists, but they make me feel relaxed. Polite, professional, and pleasant is how I would sum them up.

Fantastic experience: I had tooth ache at the weekend, and called on Monday for an appointment. They managed to fit me in on Tuesday. Unfortunately, the tooth was cracked and I had to have an extraction. They booked me in on Wednesday! Excellent service. Their communication email/texts were very efficient. The practise is very clean and stylish and the staff are very friendly. Very pleased to be on the list here.

The Dentist was friendly, caring and considerate. The assessment was carried out very efficiently and a prognosis given for future treatment. During my visit I felt cared for professionally and with personal dignity. I would recommend this professional, effective and efficiently run dental practice. 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: I'm so pleased I moved my family's dental care to Sharrow Vale. We've had a really positive experience so far with Laura. Since moving, I've had a tooth extraction, scans, a bridge fitted and tooth whitening. All procedures were smooth, pain free, with professional advice and follow up. Our 4 and 2 year olds have all had checkups which were so easy and friendly compared to our previous dental practice. The space is spotless and all staff are kind and warm.

Fantastic experience: Went for my first appointment yesterday with Laura. She was really friendly and kind and made no big deal at all of the fact I needed something to play with for my anxiety about dentists. She really put me at ease, even when explaining I need fillings and listening to my concerns about not responding well to anaesthetic and how to brush an awkward tooth. She talked me through my options and advised on the cheapest option for getting it done and I fully trust her with this work. I haven't always been the best with dentists (hence the anxiety) and have had some extremely painful trips, so the fact I was so put at ease by her was a surprise but lovely. She was chatty and wanted to know about me as well as my teeth and just made the appointment as nice as I imagine is possible for a dentist trip. Thank you Laura!

Fantastic experience: I have been with this practice for many years and travel from the north side of the city. I am nervous of the dentist but they always make me feel at ease. I am elderly and do have some health problems, including positional vertigo, which is taken into consideration. The proposed dental treatment is always explained to me in full, which is reassuring. Fantastic experience: Very happy indeed with my root canal treatment by Michael Jones yesterday (not the first time with him for this sort of thing). Technically clearly first rate (a recommendation from my GP dentist, who said he would go here for relevant treatment on his own teeth (and nb I am very happy with my GP dentist)). Excellent explanations the whole time (2h15" in total) of what was being done, understanding caring approach to the patient, "cabin service" (for want of a better word) second to none. Pain gone away by the evening, all as explained in the excellent notes. I cannot really see how dentistry could come much better than this.

The receptionists are always so cordial and welcoming.I see Galer who really is lovely and an exceptional dentist and her dental nurse is very pleasant. The whole practice is patient centred which consequently generates, in turn, a warm atmosphere to its patients and is very professional.

Excellent, highly qualified professional with an outstanding ability to reassure an anxious patient. No fear, no pain, no trauma - I knew I was is safe hands. Fantastic experience: I had root canal work done last week at the dental surgery. I was really dreading it but it was actually a painless procedure. Mike explained everything that he was doing and gave me several rest breaks, which helped to both reassure and relax me. As well as Mike, the receptionists and dental nurse were very calm, friendly and reassuring. Prior to breaking a tooth recently, I had a big phobia of the dentist, and hadn't been for 20 years. With the help of Ian, I was able to progress from barely being happy to sit in the chair for a checkup to having a tooth extracted in under a year. My clean bill of oral health is entirely down to the wonderful team at this dentist. Fantastic experience: We’ve been patients here for years and they are always brilliant. Calm and gentle with nervous children (and parents!). Had an emergency appointment recently due to a child’s broken tooth and they seamlessly fixed it on the same day-amazing!

Fantastic experience: I have been a client here for at least 20 years. Particularly since Galer Ferrer et al took over, it is the best practice I have ever used. She is my usual dentist, highly professional and extremely competent, as well as being pleasant and conversational and keeping precisely to time. All the staff are friendly and helpful; for example, I am able to leave my electric bicycle round the back rather than on the street. Administration is efficient and I am always told in advance of work planned and the cost. The premises were upgraded a few years ago and more dentists taken on.
