Fantastic experience: I have been using this dentist for 5 yrs now and as silly as it sounds I look forward to going to the dentist after years of dreading it. All members of staff are so friendly and helpful. My dentist even noticed yesterday how relaxed I have become over the years. Fantastic experience: I have been attending this surgery for several years now and i always feel at ease at my appointments . I have always been a nervous patient due to a bad childhood experience with school dentist and this surgery has helped me build my confidence with either check ups or treatment . All staff there are freindly and welcoming .

Fantastic experience: I have attended this dentist since its conception. I’m not a keen Dentist visitor but. I don’t find attending Dalmira as intimidating as I’ve found other dentists. Sonia is incredibly friendly and likes a chat. Not just about teeth but other exciting subjects too. Reception always seems incredibly organised and deal with enquiries quickly. Easy to park.

Fantastic experience: A visit to this practice is probably the best experience of a dental surgery that I can recall. The staff are always friendly and I do not feel uncomfortable at all when I have had checkups or treatment. I cannot recommend this surgery highly enough and have been fortunate to see the same Dentist (Sonia) at each appointment. Continuity is a rare thing in the NHS nowadays and is much appreciated.

Positive experience: Sonia is a lovely sympathetic Dentist with whom I have every confidence in and cannot fault. I just wish I didn’t have every appointment for routine visits rescheduled for a later date. As a lady complaining to the practice manager was saying the other day, when I was in, these are appointments that we have already paid for in advance and then having to wait months for a new appointment.

Positive experience: Hello I had hygienist appointment Tuesday 20th done by a different clinician from my first appointment back in February. The first clean was brilliant! So fresh and descaled perfectly. Unfortunately Tuesdays appointment wasn't so affective. My teeth don't actually feel as fresh or as clean.

Fantastic experience: I contacted the practice for an emergency appointment having broken a tooth. I was given an appointment for the following morning just a few hours after ringing the surgery. The dentist was very welcoming as was her assistant. After the initial examination, the broken part of the tooth was carefully removed and I had a filling done immediately afterwards. The whole experience was quick, efficient and pain free. I could not be happier with the whole process and would highly recommend this practice.

Negative experience: This is a difficult one as I am very happy with the quality of the dentistry provided but they want an upfront payment for my next check up, which is 12 months away. Absolutely disgusting.

Negative experience: Money-grabbing. I wasn't even in the dentist's chair for 2 minutes, it took the dentist longer to say "Hello" than it did to complete the examination. I wish I were being paid that much!!! Disgusting And to add insult, they now insist we pay upfront when we book, so they sit on all our money for 12-18 months (depending on how many times they cancel our appointments!!!) Trying to find an alternative dentist, but no NHS dentist available

Fantastic experience: Had a same day emergency appointment due to an infected/cracked wisdom tooth. They promptly inspected, took a Xray, and then layer that same day, extracted, and explained in good detail all the after care I required. The reception staff, the 2 dentists, and their support staff members whom dealt with me were nothing less than amazing! I really felt I was in good hands! They were patient, understanding, I felt heard and I felt like they actually cared! I can't ask for more than that. Can't say enough good about them! Highly recommended

Negative experience: The staff and dentist at the Lee on Solent branch are friendly and professional, and I am grateful that they are still treating NHS patients. However, I made an appointment through the central call center where I explained I had a broken filling and needed it replacing. The person I spoke to said they would book be a 20 minute appointment but when I got the surgery the dentist merely confirmed I needed a new filling but wasn't able to do it there and then as the appointment booked was only for 10 minutes. Somewhat annoyed about a wasted journey and appointment. Central services you could do better with your appointment booking system!

Fantastic experience: Had a appointment with Amy the hygienist was apprehensive as haven’t been for a very very long time had quite a bit of staining , Amy was amazing made me feel at ease not embarrassed at all about teeth spent a lot of time with me and the results are brilliant she did a wonderful job , smiling all day thanks a lot will defo book again x

Negative experience: I was put off using them when I moved here because they were rude and only appeared concerned about money. Unfortunately it appears to be a bit of a theme locally with dentists so I travel further afield to where I am treated with respect and as a customer. I would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: This was a very good experience for both me and my partner. The practice is very clean throughout with staff which are pleasant, polite and helpful. The appointment was with the hygienist who was excellent throughout. The first time I have experienced a totally painless hygienist to date plus lots of useful tips to improve hygiene orally. A 5 star experience for me and I'm really pleased that the practice has taken on this particular hygienist permanently as she's absolutely spot on with everything.

Fantastic experience: It made a welcome change to actually see my dentist on time with no delays. Fantastic experience: I had an hygienist appointment with Amy and she was kind, friendly and professional. I didn't feel any pain (which was a first!) and was given some excellent advice. Very impressed. I recently had my flexi denture fitted. After a few difficulties (mainly my confidence) it now fits really well. As always, thanks to Oana and Dawn for their endless patience, good humour and warmth. Thanks ladies! Im on my penultimate appointment for my flexi denture and had a trial colour and fitting done. Perfect. Can't wait for the real thing. As always, Oana and Dawn were caring and kind and always make me feel special. I'm in the middle of having a flexi denture fitted and, as always, the treatment and care I received a couple of days ago was exemplary. Oana and Dawn always make me feel at ease and, for the first time in over 50 years, I actually don't fear going to the dentist. I had two teeth extracted, which turned out to be a very lengthy process due to both being impacted. Oana was absolutely amazing and never gave up. She was so kind and, knowing what a terrible patient I am, supported me every step of the way. I'm so impressed with her and very grateful to both her and Dawn for making, what should have been a nightmare for me, a totally bearable experience.

Negative experience: Reeva isn't friendly or good with children, she's short mannered and doesn't make any extra effort with kids with special needs. I found her rude, my autistic son was trying to tell her something and she snapped "Thats not good enough" at him, when any decent human being would try an come up with idess anout how to help improve oral care. My kids don't want to go back so we are changing.

Positive experience: No issues with the dentist but taking the payment upfront 6 months before the appointment is bizarre. Instead of punishing the many you should punish the few who don't turn up. I am not happy paying 6 months ahead and will therefore need to schedule my appointments last minute from now on. Perhaps a small deposit would be better than the whole payment! Very disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I rang, needing fairly urgent help, and was given a middle of day appointment. I went in easily to time and was listened to and examined promptly. I was hoping for an extraction but was told there was an infection in my gum so I needed a 5 day antibiotic before removal was possible. I left with a prescription and an early March appointment for the extraction. Happy with the outcome.

Negative experience: I'm usually really impressed with this dentist. However yesterday I had my first hygienist appointment. It's the first one I've had in a number of years as I have been going elsewhere. I paid for a 30 minute appointment but I must have been in there for just 12 at the most! They were running late and I was back home before my appointment should even had finished! It felt like she only cleaned my front teeth. Nowhere near as thorough as any previous hygienist I've visited. I won't be using this part of the practice again.

Negative experience: I arrived at 0850 for an appt at 0900. I was the first appointment and the dentist didn’t arrive until 0915. Dentist apologised for being late but I cannot abide tardiness by a young dentist who probably just overslept and was still modelling his ‘bed hair’. Not impressed.

Negative experience: Why book someone in for an appointment at 0830 when the practice doesn't open until then. I waited for over 20 minutes before I was seen. Damira now expect, not a deposit but full payment for an appointment, nine months in advance!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Pleasant surroundings and a much better waiting area since it has been moved around. Pleasant and helpful staff. One negative for the whole experience is the fact that patient is expected to pay in advance of a six month booking. Surely there could be an alternative method, ie. a smalĺer amount as a deposit rather than the full amount. As a senior citizen funds are often limited and to pay 6/12 months in advance can be quite difficult. I understand there are missed apps. but there must be a way of not penalising patients who regularly turn up on time or phone to re- arrange. Regards

Positive experience: Great service from the staff, friendly treatment from Sonia and dental nurse. Taking treatment check up costs 12 months in advance I simply don’t agree with. Only left this review as they sent a link asking for it. I’ve never missed an appointment or even changed one that I recall, seems like all customers are being treated this way due to the behaviour of a few.

Fantastic experience: The clinic is clean and people are very professional. Dr Reeva is very helpful and my son likes her. I was thinking to find a dentist close to home,but my son said no, he got used with Dr Reeva and we will stick with her. Thank you for saving us another trip to the clinic, last time when we've been, and agreed to take my son tooth out. I will highly recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: I had a quick and easy appointment. The only thing I was a bit disappointed at was that I was expected to pay for my next checkup 6 months in advance when I had just paid for my current one. I will book my next appointment nearer the time to avoid this.

Fantastic experience: I have been with Damira dental practice for a few years. The receptionists are kind and helpful. The treatment from the dentists is excellent. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.
