We are a friendly dental practice based in the village of Chestfield near to Whitstable, Swalecliffe and Herne Bay. We have been established for 40 years and our dentists have collectively over 50 years of experience.
We are largely a independent practice, offering affordable private dentistry, but we also have an NHS contract

Fantastic experience: Warm and welcoming from the minute we entered!! As a nervous patient coming for a consultation regarding implants I left feeling full of confidence that I would be in safe hands!! Dr Abdul was kind considerate and very informative on what was needed, have booked in for my procedure very soon with him, finally found a dentist I feel comfortable with to carry out this life changing surgery for me!! Fantastic experience: I had several extractions done 4 implants top and bottom and new teeth fitted in 3 hours. Totally pain free experience . Post surgery check up after 2 weeks all looking good. Fantastic experience: Coming to the end of my Invisalign treatment at Chestfield Dental Practice (my original dentist didn’t offer this service) and I can’t fault the care and attention I’ve received. From the original scans to see if Invisalign would be appropriate through to each appointment with Dr Lary; who’s an exceptional dentist. I liked that had Invisalign treatment not been suitable I wouldn’t have been charged for the original scan, though I believe I would have chosen something else anyway. There’s a reasonable commitment to this treatment for best results and towards the end there have been times when I thought maybe I’d had enough but Dr Lary & her team encouraged and supported me to just give it a bit more time & I’m so glad that they did. I highly recommend Chestfield Dental Practice

Fantastic experience: I couldn't be happier with the care I received at this practice. From the moment I arrived I was welcomed and made to feel completely at ease. The receptionists were polite, efficient and kind and the waiting area was comfortable and welcoming. My dentist explained everything regarding my procedure and was very gentle and efficient. He and his dental nurse worked very well as a team. They were obviously extremely experienced and the whole experience was pain-free. I am delighted to recommend this dental practice.

Fantastic experience: Dr Hamera and Jasmine have been great. I had 2 extractions and unfortunately developed 2 Dry sockets. I messaged Jasmine (as under her for Invisalign and she is my treatment co-ordinator) to advise of the situation, she messaged back in a few hours, on a Saturday and her day off ! Dr Hamera was fully booked and busy all day, however, Dr Hamera told me to attend and she will see me as soon as she could between patients. Waited 15 mins and was seen and treated. Excellent care, prompt and effective. Thank you Chestfield Banning :)

Fantastic experience: After taking my father to this practice, I decided to register. Was very happy with the proposed work to my teeth. My teeth needed a lot of work, which I was not surprised about, and also decided to have some teeth removed that I had the option to remove some years ago, but let alone. Fantastic experience: The most efficient and friendly Dental Practice. Extremely kind and efficient staff. My most recent appointment for my road to having implants fitted was to have two teeth extracted (one due to an infection in the gum; next to a missing tooth, and one tooth that has been broken in half for some time) in order to fix the issues and have 3 implants for the missing teeth. And so a long appointment was required, and I am pleased to say the Dental Surgeon was impeccable and highly professional. I felt safe, given I didn't realise the work would be so invasive and feel grateful to have had such a professional Surgeon help me replace my sorely missed (in the smile zone) missing teeth. Thank you and highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I arrived with a gum infection a tooth that needed taken out and 2 fillings required, plus a good clean up. This was all taken care of by the practice within 4 weeks . They were all very professional but friendly at all times. The work I had done was the best I have either had done at any dentist and I am now 60 years of age. Fantastic experience: When you consider the difficulty people are having finding a national health dentist these days, it would be easy to think that a decline in the quality of care at privately funded dentist would be unavoidable. This was not my experience with Banning in Chestfield, the quality of care and price are both really good. I found the staff, from receptionist to dentist really professional, and very approachable, if you want quality care at a decent price you could do a lot worse than giving them a try. Dave Ralfe

Fantastic experience: For years I have struggled going to the Dentist, I've experienced my fair share of "horror story" incidents and as a result neglected my teeth way into adulthood. Since attending Banning dental practice (chestfield) my entire approach and attitude towards going to the dentist has changed. The staff here are not only friendly and understanding but their approach to those a little more anxious is phenomenal! Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Lary’s for a few years now and all I’ve ever wanted is straight teeth. It’s something that I have felt so self conscious about. I had to learn to smile with my mouth closed and always felt super anxious around new people with my teeth and tried to cover them as much as possible. Lary was open and honest about what needed to be done. I needed a lot of dental work first which took time, and then my Invisalign which was a long process. I was absolutely thrilled when my teeth were finally straight! I felt so so confident. We then discussed composite bonding to level my teeth and ensure they are all matching shapes. Lary done a trial first and I asked for a small adjustment which was fine. After a few hours in the chair I honestly felt like a new woman when I saw my teeth! I couldn’t believe they were mine! I now smile with my mouth open, I feel so confident and I’m forever grateful to Lary and her team for giving me the smile I have always wanted. I’d highly recommend chestfield dental practice to anybody that wants an honest, kind and perfectionist dental practice. Thank you so much xx
