Fantastic experience: I had an incredible experience at the dentist, for the first time in my life. Mahpara Wani was an absolute lifesaver for me. She transformed my smile, after years of struggling with bad teeth due to smoking and neglect. Her kind and caring manner, non judgemental attitude and incredible attention to detail has left me feeling confident and empowered to stop smoking and prioritise my oral health. The reception team and dental nurses were also fantastic at putting me at ease, despite my anxiety. Friendly, professional and willing to go above and beyond. Thank you all so much!

Fantastic experience: Satkieran, is very reassuring, as I do not like going dentist, I'm having new Dentures he has measured my mouth for fitting, something that my last dentist never done, the could be why they never fitted properly I truly recommend this young man, And all the staff are so nice

Fantastic experience: I always had a fear of the dentist growing up, and first check up for a few years and needed fillings, and they were the most professional and comforting team I had ever had, Mahpara and I belive, lilly put my mind at ease and talked me through every step, hats off to team at Together Dental Clacton would recommend in a heart beat!

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed with my experience at Together Dental Clacton. I was in the middle of NHS treatment (including extractions and dentures) when my appointment was cancelled — all because I sent a polite email asking for clarification on NHS pricing. I was later told my message was considered “threatening,” even though it was respectful and simply asked how many Band 3 payments I would be charged. No aggressive language, just a basic enquiry. I’ve been left mid-treatment, with no follow-up, no clear resolution, and repeated delays. Despite having already paid the full Band 3 fee, I’m still waiting for care and have been made to feel like a problem simply for asking a reasonable question. That said, I do want to highlight one positive — the receptionist, Sharon. She has been absolutely brilliant throughout all of this. She’s the only person who has consistently listened, shown empathy, and made me feel heard and understood. She’s been the one human part of a very frustrating process. Unfortunately, the overall handling of this situation by the practice has left me feeling let down and dismissed.

Negative experience: Found one of the receptionist very rude today I'm hard of hearing and the receptionist was very impatient with me and quite nasty maybe she shouldn't have a job as a receptionist there's absolutely no need to speak to people like that obviously she's not a happy or nice person.

Fantastic experience: Very pleased with my dental treatment, very friendly staff, always try thier best to fit you in.

Positive experience: It was my first visit today and I've never had such a first thorough dental checkup. The dentist was very explanatory. The whole experience of joining this surgery to making and attending my first apt and with a follow up appointments made I'm very happy I'm here.

I couldn't have done the procedure without their professionalism and attention to me as a slightly anxious person. Dr. Carbiner and Mike Henry were exceptional. They paid excellent attention to detail, ensuring I received the best medical care.

Fantastic experience: I've always been a nervous patient and very conscious of my smile. My dentist, Arash is very understanding super tolerant and patient. He talks me though every process and options best for me. And always goes out of his way. I trust him completely. The staff are always friendly and courteous. It's never nice going to the dentist but the atmosphere at together dental puts me at ease. My son is absolutely deathly terrified of seeing dentists . He is now seeing Arash who has won him over. Of course a huge mention to his dental nurse who's name escapes me. A complete star always relaxing and great bedside manner easy to talk to. Would never go anywhere else. Thank you

Fantastic experience: I'm the most nervous dental patient ever - really. However, thanks to our lovely dentist Jess and her Nurse Cloe, I had a tooth extraction today and, for the first time in my life with no sedation. Jess you were great today and I'm so grateful. The injections were gentle and the extraction was over in seconds. I'll sleep tonight without worrying about THAT tooth. Christine Welburn

Fantastic experience: Michelle the hygienist is always happy and very helpful with regards to dental care and hygiene. A lot of advice is given on how to care for your teeth and I don’t have a problem visiting Michelle, even though, like most people, I’m not a big fan of going to the dentist. If you want to make sure you know how to look after your teeth, book an appointment with Michelle.

Negative experience: I'm still unsure why the dentist couldn't do anything for me, I've 2 very painful teeth & signs of an Infection on the x ray , now have to wait 10 days for my own dentist to treat me, I'm glad I didn't pay for a private consultation (or would the treatment have been different? )total waste of money.

Fantastic experience: From being absolutely petrified of going to the dentist/hygenist 4 months ago to being confident enough to give a 5* review and would highly recommend, Michelle, the Hygenist. On my first visit, Michelle knew that I was anxious and nervous. She quickly put me at ease and explained everything to me, and proposed a treatment plan to get my teeth and gums in the best condition possible. She is calm, kind and you are able to have a laugh with her. She will stop if you need a breather to gather yourself to carry on. She has completely changed my view on having my teeth looked after. If you need a Hygenist then Michelle is the one you should go to!

Fantastic experience: Today I had 2 fillings and a partially impacted wisdom tooth removed I was nervous . The lovely Dentist Luma and Dental nurse Tilda were both amazing and calmed me . I would like to thank them both . And Luma is an excellent Dentist .

Negative experience: 1. When you go to new place usually first thing what you see is reception and receptionists and it gives you first impression. This place- very bad first impression. Receptionist don’t know how to greet people and costumers. Could get out only- name? Sit down. And that’s it. If I’m paying such a big amount for private dentist I would expect a nice attitude from the start. To feel welcomed and that you are here to help me. Unfortunately this is not the place for that. 2. Nurse the same. No hello no other type of greeting. Just follow me, mind a step- nothing else. Not the best experience already in first 10 minutes. Dentist was okay, nothing special. After I had to contact costumer service as I had some questions about material which they use and if they have the one which I need. They said that they will give me an answer in next day, if no they will chase this up for me if receptionist will not contact me by next day. 4 days… nothing. Contacted them again on Monday, they said they will give me answer on Wednesday. One week later- nothing. Sorry, for this kind of NHS attitude I will not pay private dentist prices. This week I found a new practice, in the same week I had a free consultation and next week I have already appointment to fix my tooth. Very fast, best attitude ever and just happy that didn’t go for the first one which came up in Google.

Fantastic experience: When I went in I spoke to Sharon on reception who was very helpful and made an appointment for me the next morning with Dr Aya and her dental nurse Matilda. When I arrived for my appointment Matilda took an Xray of my teeth and they then reviewed them on the computer. I explained to them what I wanted doing and she was very helpful and set out a plan for my dentures. The week after I went to get my teeth extracted and Aya and Matilda were fantastic in the way they looked after me. When I woke up the next morning I was amazed after all the work they had done in my mouth my jaw never hurt me. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great dentist and treatment.

Fantastic experience: Having had a painful toothache for several days, but on holiday, I called the practice first thing on Monday morning on my return and thankfully was offered an emergency appointment I was seen by Jess and was told the tooth couldn't be filled and needed to come out! I'm such a baby and was so scared of the pain, but Jess reassured me that it would be bearable. After an few minutes and some pain relief the horrid tooth was out! I can honestly say, there was no pain at all! Thank you so much Jess and your helpful assistant I now have a renewed confidence in dental treatment.

Positive experience: I have always recived top service but my partner due to fear and covid didn't use so now can't and has to pay for private treatment and him being on benefits and disabled means he won't be able to afford the treatment he will need xx

Negative experience: This place does not care how they treat there customers. I have now had 2 appointments canceled in the last 6months . They cancel your appointment a couple of days before its due. Excuse in Sept 2022 ,dentist off sick. Rebooked me for 28th Feb 2023, earliest they had) and cancelled it today 24th Feb. Slot needed for someone elses treatment.i have been waiting for treatment on a loose crown .phoned up and told dentist off sick again and they only have 2 parttime dentists. They need to make there mind up on the lies they give you as an excuse to cancel They done the same to me a couple of years ago. Cancelled as I was walking in the building. Avoid this place it seems to be happing an awful lot if you read other reviews

Fantastic experience: Great advise on treatment , my work done is amazing also the staff are very lovely I definitely recommend this surgery to anyone , I'm really impressed with the cleaning and treatment so so much this has made me si much happier

Fantastic experience: Everyone from the front desk staff to the dental nurses and dentist were kind and friendly. My dentist Aya was so understanding and helped me massively. Thanks to Aya I haven’t stopped smiling.

Negative experience: My daughter was referred to Together Dental in Clacton for a surgical wisdom tooth removal. I am disgusted by the way she has been treated. She was unable to access any post surgical aftercare (despite being in agony) as the policy promises, because the NHS dentist was off sick.She should have been allowed to see the private dentist, she was in that much pain, but he/she had no appointments. When there is an emergency it should always take priority over elective! She had a dry socket and the start of an infection. We ended up paying another private dentist to sort the problem and fix what they should have done. Aftercare is something people rely on when undergoing surgical procedures and it is scary to think you may be left high and dry. What about duty of care? She was also left with a perforated sinus, however the oral surgeon kindly phoned her and explained the way to care for it and that a separate referral would be needed from her dentist.

Negative experience: Was seen for a wisdom tooth extraction. Given no pain relief or antibiotics. 3 days later developed a dry socket, contacted together dental who couldn’t see me as no NHS or private appointments. Despite garentee that says they will see you within 72 hours post surgery. Then went on to have a perforated sinus and was told I had to wait 1 month before anyone could see me. I was left having to pay a hefty private charge to be seen for my dry socket as was in agony. Had surgery and was left to deal with it. Aftercare is shocking, responsibility is non existent. Really disappointed with this service.

Negative experience: I hate to do this but i am disgusted at the way ive been treated by this surgery. In 2019 i spent over 4k on implants then had check ups booked up in jan 2020 - this was cancelled due to sickness of the dentist, re booked to march, cancelled again then covid. No appointments available for months and months. Gave up then i broke a tooth - tried to make a appointment and ive been struck off because i hadn't been for 3 years although i have had appointments cancelled then never any available on the phone - funny how i can get a private appointment, thinking im doing my part by keeping away during covid and it has cost me. Then i asked about my implant warranty - the dentist said it had a number of years yet the surgery said only a year and i would have to track the dentist down for any work as he doesn't work there anymore. If your thinking of spending any sort of money on this surgery i implore you to avoid as they are obviously in it only for the money they can grab. AVOID

Fantastic experience: Tyler is a very anxious child with disabilities, they handled Tylers needs with the upmost respect and put his feelings completely first, made him feel very safe and as less anxious as possible by talking him through every step of his treatment. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: We went to together dental care Clacton due to a 111 call. My mum was in huge pain and required treatment. The receptionist who answered the phone was so kind, friendly and precessional she made me feel instantly at easy and as if there was no problem at all, excellent customer service. The practice itself was so open and light, it made a dentist experience much more relaxing. My mum reported that the dentist who saw her was exceptional, professional and made her feel very comfortable. My mum was promptly seen and the issue treated. We were incredibly happy with this experience and hope others have the same. Thank you to this practice for being a 111 NHS practice that is open on the weekends for emergency patients, you’re all what make the NHS what it is a fantastic service.

Positive experience: Let's be honest, visiting the dentist is never going to be a totally pleasurable experience. However, the staff at Together Dental make it as bearable as they can. Farhan Malik is a wonderful dentist and will be greatly missed.

Fantastic experience: Both Jessica and her dental nurse are so lovely and friendly always happy to see you, all treatment is explained thoroughly and any questions answered. Jessica works very efficiently and is very gentle best dentist I’ve ever had and I’ve had quite a few. I’d recommend Jessica to anyone, each time I visit it’s like visiting friends and not a dentist, I’m 101% happy with everyone at Together Dental Clacton. Negative experience: On 25th April Seen on time, for check up, no ongoing problems , Thank you. Tedious form filling on the internet , no change to the original appointment filled forms. six figure required .spoken 6,000, already 4 digit's used ? no. thinking another two to come instead another 5.accepted a cancellation appointment. only drawback just over half hour wait to see dentist.

Fantastic experience: Friendly helpful staff. The dentist explained things very clearly. The dental checkup was thorough and the treatment to fill a discoloured front tooth was marvellous. Good advice given regarding the use of interdental brushes for cleaning. I would recommend this dental practice as a professional and friendly place that puts clients at ease.

Fantastic experience: Receptionists super nice and helpful. Dentist extracted 2 teeth and only a bit ouchy after anesthetic wore off. Always so nice and helpful there. I always recommend them. X

The hygienist was thorough and professional with a smile there is limited parking but car park is just over the road - waiting area was clean, spacious and there was a toilet ! Would have given 5 stars but previous appt was cancelled by surgery at very short notice !

Fantastic experience: My experience this morning with Mr Ahmed:- Entered the dental room with the nurse, (I think her name was Jessicafrom the moment of meeting her I was put at ease with her smile & patience of me climbing the stairs!) Mr Ahmed’s manner was excellent, explaining every step of my future treatments, extractions, medication, braces & dentures. Mr Ahmed was knowledgeable of my past medical history which was reassuring and enhanced the feeling that he had been my Dentist…many years. Personally I do not fear the dentist chair, but would recommend if you did have a fear, Mr Ahmed & Nurse Jessica are your GO TO PEOPLE!

Positive experience: I have had some awful experiences in the past but this dental practice and all who work there have always been understanding and caring make you feel very much at ease I highly recommend , trust and wouldn’t want to visit another practice 10/10

Fantastic experience: I had my wisdom tooth removed and the staff were very patient and made me feel relaxed and were so quick, since having the operation I have gotten an infection ringing to book an emergency appointment they made sure to fit me in and the communication was great.

Fantastic experience: Appointment today for my 91 year old mum with Rehan Ahmed. This was a good, positive experience. Not long to wait in the pleasant waiting area. Mum is in a wheelchair and staff were helpful, opening doors, helping with transfers. Rehan was very reassuring and calming. Was great with mum and we weren’t rushed. Staff all very pleasant. Very happy. Thank you.

Positive experience: Together Dental Practice is a light and modern building, the reception staff are pleasant and helpful and Jessica, my dentist is very professional, pleasant and takes time to make one relaxed. Fantastic experience: Excellent dentist! It's nice to have a dentist who gives you all the alternatives and listens to you as well. I have very sensitive teeth which always interfered and delayed treatment. This is the first dentist that understood my issues, gave me injections, with time to go numb, and put fluoride over my teeth as a barrier to my sensitivity. A pleasant experience for someone who hates going to then dentist. I'm gutted my dentist is leaving soon. I hope I get another dentist as patient and helping as my present dentist.

Fantastic experience: I have been to this practice for the last year 4years and have received excellent treatment from all staff. Reception staff are friendly and helpful, and I have received great treatment from the dentists and nurses who go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Fantastic experience: For someone who has never been great with dentist had some bad experience with some I feel very comfortable with this dentist they are all good and make you feel at ease they have restored my faith in dentists. My hygienist Michelle is very good at her job gives good advice on looking after your teeth and is very gentle and doesn't hurt you at all.

Fantastic experience: Can't fault the treatment I received from the oral surgeon and nurse. Highly recommend, could see I wasn't looking forwarded to the experience but managed to calm me and hot the work done. Now looking forward to the 2nd treatment knowing how they work with you.

Fantastic experience: I always receive 5 star treatment at this Dental practice, l've gone from being a jibbering wreck previously to very confident, l start with the reception staff, Sharon and her team, always very helpful and obliging, as l'm self employed, l can sometimes pick up a cancellation which is offered. My hygienist Michelle, also very helpful and professional, she suggests different options and is informative. My dentist Amy is wonderful. I can't recommend them any higher ❤❤❤

Fantastic experience: Surgery was running a little late but I was kept informed. Lovely dentist, totally understood my nervousness! Easy downstairs access. Reception desk well managed. Masks are to be worn if possible (and supplied if necessary) and social distancing in place. Very clean and tidy waiting room.

Positive experience: Additional filing and polishing carried out to 2 upper incisor implants now adjusted to improve bite against my crooked lower teeth. New wired lower denture too painful to wear without further adjustment. Can eat slowly and carefully, but drinking causes my tongue to rub against a rough part of the denture. Resorted to previous plastic denture, which is far more comfortable. Will have to book another appointment to try to rectify.

Fantastic experience: This is by far my favourite dental practice. The staff are helpful and efficient. Jessica is l lovely dentist kind and always explains any procedures. The whole place is clean and bright. Like my teeth after a visit.

Fantastic experience: Luma Madhi is the best dentist I've ever had! She is so friendly and makes you feel completely at ease! She explains everything so well and is so lovely! Would recommend seeing her to anyone!

Fantastic experience: It’s always a pleasure coming to the dental practice. My dentist is Jessica with her assistant Chloe. Two lovely ladies. Professional, friendly, kind and always very understanding and comforting, as I’m a bit of a nervous patient. The girls on reception are always very welcoming, kind and understanding, and have put me at my ease when I’ve gone in anxious. I would highly recommend this practice.

Positive experience: Me & my 4 year old son had appointments with Soosan today. She was amazing with my son instantly putting him at ease & making funny jokes so he felt comfortable. Would definitely recommend. We didn't get seen until 20mins past appointment time which is what stopped it being 5 star.

Positive experience: The dentist was wonderful. Fully listened and explained every stage. She was very happy, kind and gentle. It was a fantastic appointment. The dental nurse was also great. Unfortunately the reception staff make you feel uncomfortable and like you shouldn’t be disturbing them. They don’t smile and will ignore you without acknowledgment. That’s always the worst bit of our visit. The two dentists that we have had have been amazing. Shame the first impressions put you on edge.
