Fantastic experience: I was a patient here when I was younger and it has changed so much. I came here with my two children for their first appointments. The reception staff were smiling friendly and the dentist we seen (apologies I don’t know the name) was absolutely fantastic with both of my children. She explain everything so well and was so good with my children. First impression definitely good!

Fantastic experience: Felt really relaxed in the warm friendly atmosphere, more relaxed during treatment. Although, while looking up in the chair, would be nice to look at something instead of lights, skylights. Maybe a tv on ceiling or something.......

Negative experience: Used to frequent this dentist growing up and always had bad service from staff, my complaints were ignored and not properly addressed. I’ve been living in different city for a few years and actually been to a proper dentist to fix this places mistakes.

Negative experience: Hi , The whole building needs a good clean, the room that i am in has peeling damp and needs seriously addressing. The plants on the top of the stairs need moving to somewhere with daylight and watering.

Negative experience: Waited over 2 months and received a call for a cancellation appointment same day. I was expecting a 1 hour appointment for a root canal, I arrived 10 minutes early and was seen 15 minutes late. Had a X-ray and a quick scale and polish, temporary filling and was told to make another appointment which I did for the next available 1 hour appointment which was in September. I have been a patient of this surgery for over 40 years. Very poor service

Fantastic experience: Attended 13th November. It was a shame appointments were running so late (…mine was 10.10am and got in at 10.35am ) Mustapha had provided useful guidance to me previously and it has really helped me. He is very comprehensive and makes no fuss. He personal skills are excellent and in my view he is a real asset to Genix.

Fantastic experience: I'm now over 60 years old, and i have always had a fear of going to the dentist. So much so, I'd even pretend I had no problems with my teeth on a general checkup, just so I could leave asap. All this changed a few years ago when my new dentist Alex arrived. He just makes me feel at ease and I totally trust any advice he gives me regarding my teeth. Yesterday I had two fillings and didn't feel a thing, and he explained everything while I was there. THANK YOU ALEX Another check-up appointment completed, I do require treatment, however I'm not as worried as I used to be. My dentist, Alex explained what I need doing and i'm confident and trusting in him. Not looking forward to it, but I am far more relaxed than in the past. THANK YOU ALEX Also the reception are friendly and helpful as always. My latest appointment included x-ray and cavity check, and a small amount of drilling involved. No pain whatsoever and Alex brilliant again. He also spent time showing me how to floss correctly. Staff at reception friendly as always. Thanks Alex!

Fantastic experience: I have recently needed to get in touch with Genix for an emergency appointment,from the first call speaking to reception who were very caring and understanding,to seeing Alex the dentist within a few hours,he was very aware of what treatment i would need to sort the problem,i was given a course of antibiotics and pain killers,the pain started to ease within hours,i contacted the surgery again a few days later and again the brilliant team at Genix helped me. Fantastic experience: I have been going to Genix for a long time and the service is very good. Appointments are fairly on time and my dentist is brilliant. He is so professional and has a great ease about him which makes me calm about my appointment as I can get nervous and anxious. I have had emergency appointments made and been put on the cancellation list too and these have helped me loads. I really enjoy the staff and dentist staff are very professional. Especially my dentist Alex, he is super nice and knowledgeable and puts me at ease. A thoroughly nice and professional dentist. 5 stars.

Negative experience: We've been here 3 times and every time we've had to wait between 10 and 30 minutes after the appointed times.

Fantastic experience: There is on street metered parking, but spaces are few and far etwern so make sure you leave plenty of time to find parking! The practice is wheelchair accessible as are downstairs surgeries. Accommodating disabilities is no problem. The reception staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: Attened my Linthorpe Road practice to have a filling repaired and a clean. Whilst Miss Pouliou was cleaning she found another small cavity and repaired both. As usual both her and her assistant( sorry, keep forgetting her name ) were affable friendly and professional. Brilliant job!!! Regarding the earlier review about my broken tooth, due to some sort of breakdown of communication, I got no contact as I was lead to believe I would, and as such have now gone to another provider, where the job is being done.

Fantastic experience: I would definitely recommend Genix dentists. You are kept informed with reminders, the staff are very professional and pleasant and my dentist, Mrs Ghafoor, is excellent, going out of her way to advise me on what is best for my teeth.

Fantastic experience: Was booked for first appointment as needed to travel 30Mins to work once being seen but as dentist arrived late and by time she was ready I was already 10 minutes later than appointment time. I would expect my dentist to be there on time and ready for the time of first appointment. Not too much to ask. I'm sure if I was late I wouldn't be seen straight away

Positive experience: No issues with the service as such, but i do not require so many prompts to attend my appointment. I understand the reason why patients are reminded of appointments, but it is excessive

Negative experience: I went it there after booking my appointment obviously, but the doctor available there asked me we dont do checkups we dont do that it is just a emergency appoitment, we dont do etc....I was like what are you saying you did not even respond to my Greeting and started telling me that this is an emergency appointment which I already knew. Then their behaviour was like they do not want to even check what is the problem. Upon asking and telling that I have been here before for the same problem and then they said open the previous remarks and just stated the thing straight away that you need this. I can see their eyes rolling if i wanted to ask or to say something. Very unprofessional and disgraceful it was. I was typing They all the time because may be someone will say I am racist, but dont take me woring that was an Indian female doctor there.
