Park Place Dental Practice

Positive experience: Ì went to this Dentist after seeing an Ad, I have avoided dentists for many years. The staff, including the Dentist were great, and I felt comfortable. After having part of a tooth removed ( due to its sharp edges) I felt a little concerned as there still seemed to be sharp pieces of tooth that I had asked to be removed. I rang and arranged to return to Park Place in.Cardiff for an inspection. Once again the staff and the dentist were great and assured me that everything is fine. Unfortunately it's not , I still have these shards , bits of a tooth in.the same place that I have paid in full, to have removed.

Fantastic experience: Having had a severe fear of dentists for many years, Park Place Dental was recommended to me so, although terrified, I booked an initial appointment. From that first visit I felt that my fears, and also my expectations, were listened to and my journey began! I met with Mark Hill who, with such a friendly, approachable manner, went to great lengths to allay my fears and explain every part of my treatment plan. Mark fitted cosmetic crowns to several teeth and I can honestly say that he has given me the confidence to smile again! Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Mark Hill for over 25 years and have followed him wherever he chooses to practice. He is a truly exceptional and highly professional dentist. I'm not sure anybody enjoys a trip to the dentist and I was no exception but as the years rolled by Mark's natural ability to calm you and explain simply yet exactly what your treatment is going to be just puts you completely at ease. You just know with absolute certainty you are being dealt with by the very definition of a professional with decades of experience under his belt. I have spoken so highly of Mark that at least 7 other members of my family now have him as their dentist and I am sure I would not be unique in that respect.

Negative experience: Expensive, especially I felt like I was taken advantage of cause I had tooth 3 decay and needed urgent treatment. £180 for one teeth filling.

Fantastic experience: I have a terrible fear and phobia of the dentist. I was told about the nicola taffe practice, and how sympathetic they are to the patients worries and fears. So I booked an appointment. It was the best decision I ever made, I know attend for my regular check ups. From the moment you arrive and are greeted by the wonderful reception staff.Jane the Hygenist is fantastic, so warm and friendly. And I see Nicola who is a star, she deserves all the praise I can give. She puts you at ease immediately and understands my anxiety once I'm sat in the chair. From someone who very rarely visited the dentist, I am now a big advocate. Thanks to everyone at the practice. Paul.

Fantastic experience: Was met at reception with a friendly welcome from Jasmine and Shelley who was very helpful and enthusiastic. I then had an examination by Amy and Elle who were very informative and welcoming. Then I had an appointment with Charlotte and Kate for a clean which I hadn't had done before but would definitely go back to them again. And then finally a consultation from Shaunna who discussed different treatment options as I am looking to get implants and she was very helpful and informative. Overall a very good experience from a very friendly team

Fantastic experience: Exceptional service , welcoming , friendly staff and innovative practise. I would highly recommend . I had searched for a dentist for several implants for many months and Park Place was recommended . I had visited other dentists but not felt they were right for me , this was an important life changing procedure for me. At Park Place i couldnt have been in safer hands , the welcome i received gave me confidence to make the initial appointment with Shauna , I left smiling , knowing I had met someone in Shauna who understood exactly what I wanted and set about my consultation , a gem . Amy too , i had some of the procedure /botox, amazing results and care , thank you Amy, such a professional. Next I met my dentist Madan , I left feeling positive and safe in knowledge from his experience, understanding calmness , his patience and demanor that this was perfect for me , search over and i do not regret my choice. I have seen Madan over many months , the consulations , the surgery , the healing, the aftercare and support along the way. i can , hand on heart , say he is an amazing dentist, one you can have confidence in and actually trust . I now have my gorgeous implants, thank you.

Finally toothache forced me to make an appointment, I searched online and found the reviews for Park Place very positive. I took the plunge and made my initial appointment. I am so glad I did, all the staff are really welcoming and I cannot recommend Amy enough. Her calm and happy nature really reassured me, so much so that today’s visit didn’t even cause butterflies. Fantastic experience: I've had months of negative experiences from my previous dentist surgery but I thought it was a me problem and that I was just being too nervous. I'm due to have a root canal procedure so decided to look at having it with a new surgery. I was recommended Park Place Dental by a friend and I'm so pleased that I've joined. I had my first initial appointment today and I can't believe I didn't come here sooner! I've never felt more at ease at a dentist surgery but more than anything I've come away feeling like I actually understand what's going on in my mouth. I was shown photos of the inside of my mouth and was explained why/where certain work needs to be done. More than anything, I felt listened to. I can't say I'm excited for getting root canal next week but I am excited to have finally found a dentist where I feel comfortable and looked after. Thanks guys!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at this practice since 1996 when it was then based in Churchill way. I have always received excellent treatment from the dedicated and professional dentists and staff, and I really thank them for it.

Fantastic experience: I have been with this dental practice for about 5 years now and I feel that the level of care and communication offered by FOH staff, the dentist I see and the dental nurses has improved a lot. I currently have Madeleine as my dentist and she is so easy to talk to about dental concerns and is clearly caring and knowledgeable. I have requested to have information about whats happening during or before appointments and have always been given the details Ive needed to feel at ease. I have always been made to feel comfortable by her and the dental nurses that work alongside her and I felt I needed to write a review to highlight this.

Fantastic experience: Mark Hill has been my dentist for quite a few years. After an accident earlier this year - I needed extensive work on my front teeth. Over the last 4 months Mark has worked with me to rebuild my smile. The result is superb. Natural. Beautiful. The engineering to fit my mouth is perfect. The team are all extremely helpful and honest which aids making the right decisions. I’m very very happy.

Fantastic experience: Park Place Dental Practice always, without fail, provide brilliant and friendly service. Any issues I've come to the practice with have been quickly and effectively dealt with. Omar has been fantastic throughout with providing the best possible dental care, especially with the Invisalign process. The results have been great and really worth it! On top of this, all the staff are incredibly friendly and inviting, making it the most comfortable dental experience you can have.

Fantastic experience: After switching to Park Place Dental this year, I am finally in a place where my teeth and mouth are (and feel) healthy! I have had ongoing issues for over 7 years that other dentists have made worse. But Mark has fixed these issues. He is evidently a very good dentist as he made even my complex procedures seem easy and pain free! I can not recommend him enough!

Fantastic experience: I felt compelled to write a review, which is very rare. I have experienced dental phobia most of my life, and the thought of dental implants with a bone graft and a sinus lift filled me with dread. My first impression was a very clean, bright modern practice. I was greeted by a warm, welcoming smile from Jasmine at reception, who was always very friendly and chatty. Shauna, the treatment co-ordinator, was very friendly and professional, always caring and empathic. I felt very much at ease, and she was very supportive towards me. I must comment on the tree ceiling lighting picture, which is fabulous and has a very calming effect. Such a great idea. My first consultation with Madhan, the specialist restorative surgeon, was extremely positive. Madhan has a friendly, calming disposition, and I instantly felt at ease. A highly skilled, knowledgeable surgeon who explained the process in detail. Madhan is a perfectionist and provides impeccable service. I was kept informed, reassured, supported, and provided with genuine care. I am extremely happy with my dental implants and can now smile with confidence. I can honestly say it's the first time I have ever looked forward to attending a dentist. I would highly recommend this practice without any hesitation.

Fantastic experience: Omar has been amazing. The entire practice have been very warm and welcoming and completely professional throughout my treatments. My teeth an gums have improved so much, and will happily come back to maintain overall oral health. I was nervous about joining originally due to bad experiences with other practices and the fact I had mild gum disease, root canal work, etc. I have not once been told off for how my teeth health were and have been given detailed advice, options. Cant fault the service recieved.

Positive experience: Went to get a 3D scan and understand what I need to get done. Had a great experience All the staff was absolutely lovely and welcoming I was seen by Shauna, I felt she was very understanding of my situation, no judgement at all and was nice about everything She answered all my questions about pricing and how everything would go The price is a bit expensive but I still would recommend if you have the money to get treatment done I even gave some little tips on social media as this is my expertise. Always happy to provide a helping hand Overall, a pleasant experience and didn’t even get any treatment done yet

When I first attended due to some issues I was experiencing, I mentioned the urgency of my situation with upcoming exams. The team was very accommodating by fitting me at the earliest appointment possible and ensuring that everything was addressed promptly to prevent prolonged discomfort. In addition to this, Dr Parvaiz made sure to explain my care plan in detail and made sure I was comfortable throughout the treatments! Negative experience: AVOID. Unfortunately this practice says all the right things but let’s you down when it’s time for action. They come across as extremely ‘money grabbing’. I had agreed with the dentists to pay for my very expensive treatments in smaller quantities but as soon as my old implants had been removed they completely changed attitude and wanted thousands of pounds in one payment , not what we agreed when joining. They waited until I was left without teeth to drop this bomb shell. Now I can’t even get a response from them, I assume they no longer what to treat me? And I’m currently stuck, missing 4 front teeth. First impressions seemed great, but I would avoid this practice. Currently looking for ways to replace my stolen implant.

Fantastic experience: I have just finished a lengthy treatment plan with Park Place Dental and I am extremely impressed with the entire process. I haven't had a dentist in years and have been unsble to get one (thanks NHS), so I came to this dentist in need of private treatment for several fillings and a root canal. From the initial appointment booking, all the way through to my final treatment today, they have always been super friendly, professional and informative. I was given a detailed treatment plan at the beginning by Omar and he talked me through everything that needed to be done. Every single person has been a delight and I am so happy I came to this dentist for my treatment, so much that I have joined their dental plan for checkups and hygiene appointments. I would also like to point out how PRISTINE it is in there. You expect a certain level of cleanliness from a dentist but this place really goes above and beyond. Fantastic experience: Excellent Service from Park Place Dental. I was skeptical at first about going private however it really does pay to go private. Mark Hill is a brilliant dentist and an absolute credit or the practice. From the initial consultation, I was made to feel comfortable and Mark took the time to understand current situation as well as explaining clearly the work that should be done. The procedure itself was quick and pain-free, with clear communication throughout. Mark and Park Place Dental have definitely restored my confidence in going to the dentist!

Fantastic experience: Phoned yesterday for advice about a needed procedure for a relative . From the moment Sophie answered my call she was kind , caring and knowledgeable. She listened to the situation and went and got advice from the dentist Mark who requested photographs . Within an hour Sophie called back and booked my sister in for her treatment . She gave lots of information on what would happen on the day and was very reassuring . As a first point of call I have not come across anybody as helpful , caring and knowledgeable as Sophie in a medical environment and i was completely blown away by the service I received yesterday . Fantastic experience: I recently had one of the composite bonding on my front teeth fall off since being done at another dentist several years ago. I phoned Park Place to see if they had any emergency appointments for new patients, and luckily they managed to fit me in during a busy week! Sophie and Jasmine were super helpful in communicating with me, and they made the whole process very easy, transparent and straightforward. When arriving, the whole reception team were really friendly and professional, and I was seen a few minutes later by Amy; she was also very friendly and made me feel at ease, and did an amazing job saving my tooth! Fantastic experience: Had my first ever fillings done at Park Place Dental Practice! I was pretty nervous but was put at ease by Saahir and Heather. The process was painless even the numbing injection! Saahir was a fab dentist and Heather such a lovely and helpful dental nurse

Fantastic experience: On arrival I was greeted by a bubbly young energetic lass. I was welcomed into the dentists room by another lovely young lady who had the kind of feet like she was about to carry a ring up a mountain to destroy it but she was fantastic. I was welcomed into the room by the dentist Saahir. He was extremely friendly and put me at ease and when I was fully reclined he started to caress my teeth with a deft touch that showed me he knew his way around a humans mouth. All in all it was a great experience and l'd recommend this dental practice to anyone!!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Park Place due to their kindness, attention to detail and always ensuring you leave happy with any work done. I’ve had multiple appointments with Amy as I wanted a nicer smile; she was attentive, patient and a perfectionist. I’m very happy with the end result, a nice confidence booster for me. Goes without saying but the other members of staff are all lovely and accommodating too - the other dentists, nurses and the receptionists all deserve a mention.

Fantastic experience: I always used to feel anxious and nervous about visiting the dentist, but coming to Park Place has changed that for me. From the always warm greetings of the receptionists to the kind, professional and considerate care from Mark and Heather, (my dentist and nurse), I never feel the need to worry and always have a reason to laugh and a smile.

Negative experience: Lovely people at the reception but it was a big disappointment that dentists incompetence with extraction. Small kid suffering with infected tooth we been told by the dentist that he can’t handle the extraction so he will refer to the hospital as an urgent (how convenient). So, pointless visit. After 2 weeks of waiting for the “urgent” referral (meanwhile kid can’t chew properly and keep taking pain killers for 3-4 times a day) we find out that “referral” was actually for a routine appointment. Have to call back and they assured dentist is doing another “urgent” referral that day (28 aug) but it never happened. We have to go to another dentist as an emergency to get the child referred properly. Never experienced this level of disappointment from a dental professional before. We might raise this issue with the GDC

Fantastic experience: I visited this practice for the first time today and had a very good experience. My dentist, Omar Parvaiz, was very approachable, informative and reassuring. He talked through a range of approaches to treatment, from short to long term, and explained what was happening throughout the treatment session. I left feeling very well looked after and far more informed about my oral health going forward. I would totally recommend this practice and will be going back.

Fantastic experience: I'm not the biggest fan of going to the dentist but Park Place is excellent. Lovely reception staff, and Omar (the dentist) was really friendly and reassuring. The soothing forest scene on the ceiling was a particularly nice touch, helping to keep me calm during my check-up!

Fantastic experience: My visit to Park Place felt like a breath of fresh air. Dr. Omar wasn't just a dentist; he was a reassuring presence, was so thorough and genuine in his approach. He tackled issues other dentists had passed over, making me feel truly cared for. And the staff? They bent over backward, knowing I was heading abroad, to fit me in. Positive experience: Took my mother-in-law here for her dental check up. The whole process from booking the appointment through to treatment and the period after was well handled. The team could very easily be reached and they were prompt with responses to questions. The procedure itself - the assessment and treatment - as dental procedures go, was great. Mother-in-law was perfectly fine after a couple of days post treatment.

Fantastic experience: I had a really good experience at park place dental, very quick and professional. The staff are also really friendly. Compared to my previous dentist it's a night and day difference. I used to hate the dentist as I worried about sitting there and my jaw tended to ache after long periods of poking around. Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience from start to finish and I got an appointment the same day as I phoned. The staff were so welcoming and professional. I was seen on time by Amy who made me feel at ease and was always ensuring I was comfortable throughout my wisdom tooth extraction. I'm no longer scared to go to the dentist which is due to the excellent care and service provided. I was given great insight on dental hygiene and set up a plan prior to treatment. During my treatment it was very quick, I was comfortable and very happy with results.

Nothing but friendly customer service and professionalism. The dentist I seen was very nice and good at his job. Provided me with all relevant advice needed for after the surgery. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at this dental practice ever since it was set up and can give nothing but praise for Mark and his team in all that time - probably around 20 years or more. Last week, together with my husband, we saw Vanda, the hygienist as well as Mark. Vanda is always very welcoming and happy, chatting away while dealing with our teeth. Mark is very calm and efficient and a pleasure to see. I used to be really nervous about seeing the dentists I was with before but, with Mark, I can relax in the chair. He has a way of putting me at ease even when I have had extractions etc done. All the team are pleasant, welcoming and helpful and I can't finish this review without mentioning Val in reception, She is a wonderful asset to the practice with her lovely smile, her bubbly personality, her helpfulness and her calmness in dealing with all aspects of the running of the administrative side of the surgery.

Fantastic experience: On every visits I am greeted by my name, I recently had two wisdom teeth out, the dentist was gentle and fast. I felt no pain once the anesthetic wore off. Fantastic experience: My recent visit to park place dental practice, was an emergency appointment, due to me being in severe pain. The whole appointment from start to finish, was less than 45 minutes, and I was no longer in pain. Reception staff were really friendly/helpful, and gave me the reassurance that I needed. Fantastic experience: I’ve visited three times now, despite the fact I have issues with my teeth and I’ve always felt nervous at the dentists it’s always been an easy experience here. Running on time, calm appointments and I feel they take the time to explain what they’re doing. Prices for the practices plans seem fair for the number of appointments you get, you’re not rushed in and out.

Fantastic experience: Having recently moved, I was on the search for a new Dentist, and I was lucky enough to find Park Place Dental Practice. I soon found out that it really is an outstanding example of what every dental practice should aspire to. From my very first telephone call to Park Place, it was clear to me that this was the practice where I wished to be treated. This was largely due to my discussions with Shaunna who is the Patient Care Co-Ordinator. Shaunna is an excellent ambassador for Park Place, professional, caring, informative, and really helpful in arranging my first appointment. She really went the extra mile in ensuring that I had all the information required. From the moment I walked through the door, the reception team made me feel really welcome. Amy is my Dentist, and she is wonderfully calm, caring, thorough and knowledgeable. Amy really took time to answer all my questions, and I left relaxed and elated to have found such a brilliant Dentist. One of the reasons that Park Place stands out as such an excellent practice, is the feeling that that each member of the team is so committed and driven. It is also really clear that they value each others contribution to the excellent service that they provide, there really is quite a buzz of energy here, and it is so evident that all staff enjoy striving to offer the best possible dental care. What a find !

Fantastic experience: Most thorough and informative dentist I have come across whilst attending my first consultation. Extremely professional, comforting and not pushy whilst explaining my options. Left feeling confident that I was in safe hands. Fast forward to my most recent visit where I signed up for their private membership after a full clean and stain removal with Omar (which was no where near as disruptive as I thought it would be aside from the usual discomfort) and I am pleasantly surprised at their prices/cover. Fantastic experience: Very hard to find a good dentist (that also has places for NHS patients) but Park Place are great. I've had several issues relating to awkward wisdom teeth but they've been really lovely, available when I need them and reassuring and helpful when in pain. Fully recommend them. Dr Wilson Wong is exceptionally kind, understanding and non judgmental when it comes to teeth issues too. I’ve had many bad dentists and he’s the first one I’ve ever enjoyed seeing, talking to and trust fully to take care of my dental work.

Fantastic experience: As a VERY anxious patient, I always worry that I’m inconveniencing my dentist as I know I take more time and reassuring. Dr Omar is just brilliant at making me feel completely reassured. I have had a good range of treatments done and have always been treated with respect and never felt judged for not having perfect teeth. Val on reception is so lovely! She gently but firmly encourages me to book my check ups and not be a scaredy cat ;-) which I need as I am a big avoider of things I found it really useful to read other peoples experiences when I was nervous so I will talk through mine below. I’ve included some trigger earnings so you can know what to expect! trigger warnings: needles, teeth removal, stitches i needed my wisdom tooth taken out due to it causing me some pain from a hole. Dr Omar explained to me that root canal was also an option, I went against his advice and asked for it to be removed as this for me was a less scary option Dr Omar (and i’m sure the other dentists) will always give you their professional advice but will also respect your choices. On arrival, Dr Omar and his lovely dental nurse (who’s name escapes me but in my experience they’re all kind) put me at ease straight away and gave me a sugary drink to help keep my blood sugars up as I was anxious. The injections were honestly absolutely fine. Very minimal discomfort and the numbing agent worked very quickly. I am not afraid of needles though which is worth noting. The whole process of the tooth coming out was surprisingly not very invasive - or didn’t feel it anyway. The music in the background was a nice distraction as well. Dr Omar cut my tooth out and a small part of my jaw bone (he did prewarn me about this and I knew it would be most likely a part of the surgery). I would say though that I literally couldn’t feel a thing other than pressure. the end of the treatment required me to get some stitches - I am not joking when I say that this was genuinely relaxing. I couldn’t feel a thing and Dr Omar’s presence is so calming that I could have fallen asleep. They gave me all the advice possible for the healing process to go smoothly so I felt armed with knowledge which is super reassuring. I also knew if there was any worries or questions that I could have spoke to them after the treatment. Discomfort (not pain) after lasted 3-4 days, healing to the point of me not being able to feel any discomfort took around a week. Not everyone’s experiences will be the same! But what I can guarantee is you will be taken care of. Sorry to the staff at park place who have had to read my long review!! I just know I read all the reviews before coming and they helped me. anyway, 5 stars for you guys you’re all super !!
