Aldershot Dental Practice

Fantastic experience: Today, I took my elderly mother to this practice and she had to use their stair lift. I was very pleased to witness how very helpful, kind, caring & polite the staff were. Thank you

Fantastic experience: Good client service like always, in less than 30min chek up, X ray, 2 filings done(initially I was hoping to have my missing one replaced, but there was other needing attention. I highly recommend practise and dentists there.

I would to give a shout out to the reception team the team was so welcoming and informative. I would highly recommend and will use the service again.

Negative experience: Incompetence again between the practice and the dentist- after my next appointment enough is enough and moving practice -poor treatments over the years- word of advice dont book a check up it’s awful they don’t check your teeth and you are literally in the chair for 30sec. luckily I went to another dentist and he picked up poor fillings and a small hole that needs attention.

Positive experience: Booking appointment and booking in was very easy, appointment was on time. Visitors toilet needs to be extensively cleaned, not acceptable in a area where hygiene is critical

Negative experience: Really starting to go downhill! Had appointment cancelled a few weeks back literally an hour before I was supposed to be there and they just rescheduled without consulting me if date/time was suitable. Once date/time agreed I turned up to said appointment and was literally felt to be 5 years old at school and been caught drawing on the floor with marker pens! I appreciate the job they do etc though bedside manners need to be revisited.

Fantastic experience: I visited the hygienist today. The experience was very good as the hygienist was very friendly and helpful with advice.

Fantastic experience: I had my teeth cleaned by the Hygienist Pav yesterday. She was really nice and put me at ease telling me what she was doing and let me have breaks because I was anxious. Lovely service by her and her assistant will continue going here :)

Fantastic experience: I have been using this dentist for a number of years. While the ease of getting an appointment has jumped up from maybe a week to a month+ the practice is very good, for example today I had an appointment which was pre arranged. due to an traffic in Farnham the roads were a nightmare turning a 20 min journey into 1 hour 30 mins. I called the dentist who asked to get in when I could. I was 30 mins late but still got my appointment without issue. Thank you

Fantastic experience: Seen really quickly, friendly dentist and staff. Arranged other work really quickly. Put my mind at ease about hygiene and lots of praise for my 2 boys so it gives them a boost to keep up their hygiene and not fear the dentist.

Dr. Sarah is not only incredibly skilled and professional but also genuinely kind and attentive. What really sets her apart is her gentle approach and caring demeanor, she truly listens, and it shows in the quality of her work. Negative experience: My appointment got cancelled because my dentist went on maternity leave which is fair enough but being pushed back a month and a half because of this is ridiculous. Trying to get an appointment at this surgery is like hunting gold. All the dentists are lovely though. Reception are rude.

Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment at Aldershot Dental Practice this morning, first time I have went to the dentist for a check up in a while and was a little worried that my teeth would need some work, luckily they are in good shape and needed no fillings! The dentist I had was polite and clear, which is much appreciated. The online booking process was easy to follow and being able to find a dentist offering NHS appointments is an absolute bonus. Overall, a good experience.

The dentists and hygienists were very knowledgeable and showed a good work ethic. Fantastic experience: Recently moved to the area & was delighted to find an NHS dental practice with availability for me & my Son. We saw Dr Arooj Uddin & she was wonderful. It was my 1yr olds sons first ever dentist appointment & she was so kind & gentle with him, it was a great first experience for him. I was next & admitted I was super nervous as I hadn’t visited a dentist in so long but Dr Uddin was so lovely I felt silly for even worrying. All stuff from reception to nurses were really helpful & friendly. Overall a really great experience :)

Further to my earlier review ( above) I had to have an emergency repair on a lost filling today ( 26/04/25) before leaving for an important event. I didn't have an appointment but went at 8.00am ( opening time) to see if they could help. They managed to fit me in within 30 mins of my arrival and repaired the damage done. Brilliant service, on a very important day. All my family now see this particular dentist and he is top drawer. Thankyou so much.

Negative experience: If I could I would rate this no stars!! My husband came for an emergency appointment due to a chipped tooth and the dentist drilled into his tooth with no numbing! They didn’t even tell my husband what they were doing. I could hear him scream from the waiting room! He left there in more pain and discomfort then he went in with. I have complained to them and have heard nothing back from them. The general environment was not very clean, staff were not polite or friendly either.

Fantastic experience: I am an extremely nervous patient and truely petrified of dentists, but the staff, nurses and dentists at ADP Aldershot are amazing, understanding and comforting. It's a busy practice but they help as best they can with appointments.

Fantastic experience: Recent appointment (09.04.25) I saw Ms Heleen Riffel to fix a filling that was done in December. She was very patient and because I am very anxious she was able to keep me calm and tell me at each step what she was doing. Let’s hope this filling lasts for years as definitely don’t want another one and the same place!

Positive experience: The dentist was very patient with me as I was quite nervous. Also, we had to try 4-5 times to take the X-rays due to me not being able to hold the film in my mouth. I was explained what can be done for my teeth, but I was slightly disheartened that no vitality test was done to check my root given the break in one of my teeth and the pain I explained I have. Nevertheless, I am going for my treatment with same dentist.

Positive experience: They messed up this time and I was left waiting for over 40 minutes wjlhile they let 2 other people go ahead of me so I was not happy! Don't think they signed me in properly. The actual dentist herself did a good job as normal so that was good.

I’m very happy with the service she provides. I haven’t yet been able to book an hygienist appointment at a convenient time though.

Fantastic experience: I recently returned to this dental practice on an emergency basis, having been a patient here years ago. From the moment I arrived, I was reminded why I had always held this place in such high regard. The staff were as friendly, professional, and welcoming as I remembered, and the clean, comfortable environment immediately put me at ease — even amidst the distressing circumstances that brought me there. On this occasion, I arrived with my face severely swollen and visibly distorted from the swelling. I was in unbearable pain and could barely open my mouth more than a centimetre. The situation was serious, and I am incredibly grateful to the female dentist who saw me that day (whose name I regretfully didn’t catch but will update once I do). Her professionalism, empathy, and quick thinking undoubtedly made all the difference. She examined me carefully, explained the gravity of my condition with clarity and compassion, and wasted no time in urging that I be taken to the hospital by ambulance. Her swift action ensured that I received the urgent medical care I needed. Upon arriving at the Royal Surrey Hospital, I was immediately assessed, given strong pain relief, and underwent emergency surgery under general anaesthetic the following day. It is frightening to think what could have happened had her prompt response not intervened. What stood out most during my visit was not only her medical expertise but also the decency, dignity, and humanity she displayed. In my moment of vulnerability, she treated me with kindness and respect, providing reassurance and ensuring I understood the next steps. For that, I will always be thankful. This dental practice has consistently demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and genuine care over the years. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in need of dental care. In particular, I believe this is an excellent choice for families with young children who may feel anxious about dental visits. The warm and understanding approach of the staff would undoubtedly help ease any fears. Thank you once again to the entire team for your exceptional care. You have my deepest gratitude.
