Fantastic experience: I had an appointment with the hygienist today (Mrs Zamir), which I usually dread as I have really sensitive teeth, however the lady was lovely, very accommodating to my needs and kept reassuring me all through the procedure. Would definitely recommend GK Dental.

Fantastic experience: This was an emergency appointment for tooth extraction. Phoned at 9am got there at 9.10 was seen within 5 to 10 minutes. Tooth numbed back into waiting room for 10mins whilst Nikos saw another patient back in tooth extracted within no time. Nikos is an excellent dentist.

Positive experience: After more than three years of trying to find an NHS practice with which to register after my previous practice became private, I was contacted yesterday by Great King Street Dental Practice (on whose waiting list I had been for several weeks) offering registration and an appointment for today. It was with some trepidation that I attended as I had a couple of existing issues that were worrying me. The dentist I saw was affable, courteous, efficient, and after my check up set my mind at ease by advising none of my issues was acute. I was relieved he could see that I had looked after my teeth. A compliment that meant much to me. He offered a treatment plan with alternative treatment options with costs where applicable. I came away feeling much more positive than I had been before my appointment, and look forward to getting my dental health routine back on a regular footing after a worrying hiatus. NHS dentists are to be treasured. They can make such a difference to patients' general wellbeing beyond the wonderful technical expertise and artistry they have trained for over many years. I was very impressed by my initial experience at this dental practice.

Doros did some cosmetic work on my front teeth and I'm extremely happy with the result. Just had the prep done for an implant and again everyone was brilliant. Was a lot of work involved but Kevin and Vicky looked after me very well. Can't wait to see the end result.

Negative experience: Reception is rude and unprofessional (not just with mum but have seen it with other customers too) and appointments NEVER start on time. Accessibility for disabled people is terrible, there is a ramp but no door opener button and a reception desk that totally excludes anyone in a wheelchair from seeing who they are talking to. When asked about why every appointment starts at least 15 minutes late I was told in a shitty tone by the receptionist 'that's just how it is'. Yesterday mums appointment was over 20 minutes late (again) as the dentist was 'doing paperwork! Terrible customer service for a paying customer!!

Fantastic experience: I have just moved to the area. I was given the details of this dentist surgery by a friend. The reception staff were excellent. The waiting room was very busy. They took their time booking patients in as they listened to what the patients had to say and gave them the time they needed to explain their dental problems. They then apologised for delays but also gave me time and explained what I needed to do to sign up to the dental practice. They were polite, helpful and cheerful. Breath of fresh air when they were so busy. The dentist I had gave me a full dental examination. Very professional and explained fully the problems that I had. Explaining the x-rays and options I had with treatment. I felt extremely happy with the outcome and considering I am nervous at the dentist I feel confident that my various teething issues will now be sorted out. Very positive visit.

Negative experience: although they send many reminders and even phone you before your appointment, they also state that you will be charged per minute of missed appointments or if you’re late they themselves were late taking me through. this is not a problem at all, i know these things happen and can’t be helped. however during my treatment i was told that my time was up and they would need to finish my treatment at another appointment which is in 2 months time and have left me with 60% of it done. I don’t understand how they could be late taking me in but then not finish my treatment.

Fantastic experience: Tamas Harangozo extracted a tooth, prepared adjacent teeth and made a temporary bridge all within the space of an hour. The procedure was painless and professionally performed with kindness and patience. 14.12.24. Subsequently no pain after the extraction and healed well. Back to see Tamas today and temporary bridged removed and healed area scanned to enable construction of permanent bridge. Temporary bridge re-instated successfully and procedure carefully and cheerfully performed. I very highly recommend Tamas Harangozo. 12.3.25 1.4.25 Permanent bridge fitted. Very happy with result. As before, highly recommend Tamas Harangozo.

Fantastic experience: First time seeing the new dentist Dr. Doris (Sorry if I've misspelled it!) and I was really impressed. I've not been happy with my dental care since I moved from the US in 2018, but he's the first dentist here in Scotland that I felt was personable, actually listened to me, and had my best interest at heart. Highly recommend and feel lucky to be a patient of his.

Negative experience: Please please be very cautious . If your child needs any treatment make sure you get it in writing what the costs are. We strongly feel we were mislead at GK dentists charging hundreds of pounds for a filling ! As an NHS patient .

Positive experience: The treatment was very thorough and I thank the dentist for his care and attention The assistant was a little rough with the suction, repeatedly pressing hard against my teeth which hurt my lip and also at one point pressing so hard into my mouth that i was in pain

Negative experience: Wow! I have had the worst ever experience with this dentist. Spoke last week when I was told they do general anaesthetics for people with severe dental anxiety with a referral from GP. My GP days that's rubbish they need a theatre, anaesthetists, doctors etc. I phoned back to ask these questions and thy hung up on me. Eventually they took my call again after I withheld my number to ask these basic safety questions to be told they don't do ga after telling me 10 mins ago they do. Staff extremely rude...rudest I have ever experienced. I would never use this dentist, if they can't answer these badi. Safety questions and hang up when they don't know the answer I would seriously worry about them sedating me or any other procedure. Huge thumbs down from me
