Cassio Road Dental Practice

Negative experience: Extremely bad customer service and unfair pricing mechanism. I have been to this practice a number of times. Every time I have been at their practice they have made me wait for good 30 minutes. On one occasion, I was late by 12 minutes but they charged me for the full appointment without seeing me and they were charging me another £75 for rescheduling the appointment. I complained to the practice manager, however, she only apologised. So in a nutshell they can make you wait for 40 minutes but when you are late you get charged. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS PRACTICE EVER!!!

Fantastic experience: My dentist Anjali Ghandi is fantastic. Her talent and attention to detail in cosmetic dentistry has surpassed all expectations. She has brought me my smile back!

Negative experience: I am very disappointed to found out that Cassio Dental surgery took me off from NHS without a warning letter. NHS dentist cannot remove a patient from their list without fair warning and just cause. The reasons for removal must be significant enough to disrupt the patient-dentist relationship. I've last heard from them 2019 via sms as reminder to book an appointment then COVID happened there was lock down for almost a year and half lots of unfortunate event happened to my family during that period last thing in my mind was the dentist. This is very unfair but I can understand they just want private patients to make money NHS is not good enough for them.

Fantastic experience: I had a single bad experience where I wasn’t told that my appointment was cancelled so was of course very frustrated after making my way there heavily pregnant however since then I have been very happy with service received. Anjali Gandhi is a fantastic dentist. She is very thorough with explaining and is extremely personable.

Negative experience: Very annoying service. Dentist dr decided to cancel my appointment when I already was waiting about 10-15 minutes in the waiting room. I had 2 slots booked, first slot I was late, so ok. Fair enough to don.t visit me. But second slot I was already there, and after been waiting,they didn' t want to see the child. Reallocated in more than a month time. Always issues with appointments.

He has been incredibly professional, patient, and caring while treating my elderly father. Dr. Patel's humility and gentle demeanour immediately put my father at ease, which made such a difference. Both he and his assistant showed exceptional kindness and took the time to explain everything clearly, ensuring my father felt comfortable throughout the process. It’s rare to find a dentist who truly goes above and beyond to provide such compassionate care. Thank you, Dr. Patel and team, for your outstanding service!

Negative experience: Rude reception staff no customer service skills whatsoever...... Unhelpful and sarcastic when I was trying to book an appointment this afternoon!! Maybe an idea to send your reception staff on a Customer service/Communications course so they know how to talk to your patients as opposed to being rude to them!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Cassio Rd Dental Practice since before it was at Cassio Rd! I’m happy with the service and staff are professional and friendly! Mr Grosman was my dentist for many years and he was special! Highly recommend and 5* services. Today I had a hygienist appointment with a new hygienist and she was brilliant and again I highly recommend the services provided.

Fantastic experience: Having been a dentist at the practice for over 23 years, I've always been on the giving end of treatments. However, I experienced my first ever filling today on the receiving end with Dr. Jeeten Patel and his very capable assistant Gemma and it was was truly exceptional. Their meticulous attention to detail and technical skill, combined with a calming demeanor, made the procedure both comfortable, efficient and dare I say enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend Jeeten for anyone seeking top-tier dental care. Also fantastic work Gemma, I've heard good feedback about you but got to experience it today too. Thank you both again for a pain free and comfortable appointment.

Fantastic experience: I just can't say enough great things about this dentist. Sorted out my child's tooth pain same day and I was so happy that they could offer a follow up 2 days later. Everyone is kind and warm, it's what you want in a dentist practice when so many feel nervous. 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: Following a long period of illness, I visited Dr Gandhi at Cassio Road Dental as I was suffering from chronic toothache. Unfortunately my dental health had also suffered and needed a lot of treatment to smile again - including an extraction. Without wishing to sound dramatic, having a tooth removed was my greatest fear and I was utterly terrified. All I can say is that Dr Gandhi has the hands of an angel and a bedside manner to match. I breezed the extraction and all the follow up treatment - which was very necessary - and actually quite enjoyed my visits; from the lovely receptionists, to the dental surgery assistant, I always felt welcomed, informed and calm. I cannot recommend this surgery highly enough - particularly if you are a nervous patient. Thank you so very much Dr Gandhi - I’m looking forward to my next checkup!! ❤️❤️❤️

Negative experience: Throughout the years all I had was bad experiences. Failed referrals, awful waiting times to then find out no one was going anything about anything. Constant changing on dentists. Now I’ve been in the most horrible pain and “my dentist is on leave” so they can’t do anything about it.. hahah is that a joke??? I guess NHS patients are treated like crap. Acting so privileged it’s disgusting.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a root canal performed by Dr. Jyoti, and it was an excellent experience. Dr. Jyoti was incredibly friendly, making sure I was comfortable and okay throughout the whole procedure. Her attentiveness and care were truly reassuring. Additionally, her assistant, Rianna, was also exceptional, contributing to a smooth and pleasant experience. Both Jyoti and Rianna worked great together, and I highly recommend Dr. Jyoti for anyone needing dental care.

Negative experience: Went there to have Invisalign straightening. The dentist left half way through the treatment and was passed onto another dentist who was unable to complete the straightening properly. Offered only 5% back, of the £2k treatment. When I wasn’t happy at all with the results.

Negative experience: Worst dentist in the world, the manager is useless and not qualified for her job and neither is their staff. Honestly they just don’t want to accept anymore NHS applicants so unless you are paying they won’t let you go in there. Absolute unacceptable treatment of long time clients to advise people who haven’t been there 5 years due to healthy teeth to move them to private care how is a retired person meant to pay for private care? Absolute disgraceful

Fantastic experience: The best dentist I never had before. The dentist Jyoti Puri-Chadha is excellent... she explains everything very well, even the anaesthesia injection doesn't hurt, and she cares a lot to make you feel as good as possible. Overall, the care at this dental practice is the best in town.

Positive experience: Love Chirag and his assistants -always friendly and do a great job. As someone who has trained people in Customer Service, I think that the Reception Staff could do with further training. Acknowledging people on their arrival and making eye contact is the minimum respect that a customer deserves.

Negative experience: I call for emergency appointment which I was in very pain in my tooth. Staff very rude didn’t offer me appointment and no consideration I was in pain. Worst dentist unprofessional not friendly.

Positive experience: 4-5 months on and the on line booking system is still the same Frustrating if it can’t be fixed take it off line !! Newly decorated and expanded surgery Polite and pleasant staff The on line booking system needs some work Apparently you can only book an appointment with your dentist but the system lets you book an appointment with any dentist you then get the appointment confirmed and get a phone call cancelling it because it’s not your dentist ,annoying

Fantastic experience: I left so so happy from the Dental Practise after my first appointment as a new NHS patient. I went there to check on one tooth, but the dentist did way more. I had 3 x-rays and checked every teeth and kindly talked me through on any concerns he had. He was gentle and friendly, which really does make a difference when going to the dentist. I couldn't recomend this practise more!

Negative experience: It was very disappointing to go to Cassio dental surgery where the dentist Anjali Gandhi appeared quite rude and arrogant toward my son and her manner was quite condescending. I would certainly avoid this particular dentist who has no soft skills of communication especially with children

Negative experience: It was the worst experience I ever had ! The dentist who was suppose to be helpful and understanding was actually very rude and mean to me, her work was horrible, no consideration, no communication, no support, and when I told her that I'm not satisfied or happy from the work, she sad "I can do nothing" !" And none in this clinic can help you, we are closing ! "so I had to go see another dentist straight away because my teeth looked so wrong, and they didn't want to do anything about it ! I have never been treated this bad from a doctor before ! I would rate her work zero stars if I could !

Fantastic experience: In these days of dentistry crisis I feel very fortunate to still be able to attend Cassio Road after too many years to count! My family and myself all see Dr Kotecha who has throughout all those years always been utterly professional, always courteous, explains issues/cost clearly, really couldn't ask for more from a dentist. Fantastic experience: Having just retired and recently moving to the area, I was a bit concerned about finding a good NHS dentist. I am not fond of dentists in any case, however they really were brilliant. On the original consultation, they were very thorough and clearly explained what the procedure and number of visits would be. Injections and treatment were awesome, appointments were punctual. The whole experience was really pleasant, calming and almost fun. There is a "happy" atmosphere to the surgery and the staff whether clinical or administrative were always helpful and smiling. I have found myself compelled to recommend them to all and sundry, first time I have ever felt that, and I have been around a long time.

Negative experience: Discriminatory against women’s rights - if you are registered privately there and become pregnant you cannot use your rightly given free nhs dental care and have to register elsewhere. Really poor and a policy they should urgently reconsider.

Fantastic experience: Very good just one question. I’m not sure why we have to complete a new medical form after every visit. Surely information like age name and address you must already have so why duplicate it? All you need to know is if there had been any chance in medical conditions since the last visit. Other than that query everything great.

Fantastic experience: On behalf of my wife Patricia. I saw Jyoti on the 27th February for an emergency appointment.She’s very patient and understanding and makes me feel at ease. The practice is very modern with onsite parking. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: After coming here for over 10 years I’ve only seen this place go majorly downhill. Tried booking numerous times however they’ll cancel every single appointment. My family who also came here for a long time now also go elsewhere. Email numerous times to book in and no response and desperately more so now after having 2 soon to be 4 painful wisdom teeth come through which I also emailed them about as I need them removed!!! So I am now 2 years overdue, after my last appointment which also I was told a filling that I ACTUALLY HAD DONE THERE was growing bacteria underneath and that I’ll need to go back urgently to get it corrected. It is impossible trying to get an appointment. There lack of care towards there customers is disgusting and it isn’t the dentists fault I can’t fault them there always welcoming and kind when I use to go, it’s the reception staff that are the issue. There rude, and lack the bare minimum customer service skills, couldn’t care less to help you. There is absolutely no point in emailing they don’t even care to respond. Will not be going back and will also be going elsewhere. Your lucky if you get positive experience here but the receptionists definitely pick and choose who they care to help!

Positive experience: The dentist I see here seems friendly and knowledgeable, and I can generally get an appointment at a suitable time without much difficulty. The receptionists aren't particularly friendly or helpful though - apparently they are undergoing further training so we will have to see if that improves the situation. The practice manager was quick to phone and discuss with a recent issue and she came across well.

Fantastic experience: Booked an appt with Dr Chaddha for my children. She was great with them from the start, making the experience relaxed and positive. Gave the children simple tips to improve their oral health. Highly recommend the practice and this dentist.

Negative experience: For root canal, NHS rate is 70.70 pound sterling flat. There is no exception to this rule. However, the dentist told me that since the root canal work is required on a tooth which is at the back of the mouth, so I will be charged 495.00 pound sterling.

Fantastic experience: I have just finished my Invisalign journey with Cassio Road dental and I would like to give a big shoutout to Dr Aliya Nazarali for being the most accommodating dentist! She has made the Invisalign journey so fun and exciting. I am so happy with my smile now and I’m so happy it’s only taken 15weeks to achieve amazing results. All the staff members at the practice are very welcoming. I would definitely recommend Cassio Road dental to anyone who needs a confidence boost for their smile!

Fantastic experience: Running a little late today but that is unusual and I’m usually in on time or early. Joyti who is the dentist I see is always very welcoming she listens to what you tell her and always does a very good job, The receptionists call the day before to check you remember your appointment which would be helpful if you were forgetful and they are very efficient and friendly. very pleased with the service.

Positive experience: I have been visiting the practice for the last 9 years. Unfortunately, it seems that the quality of service especially when it comes to reception has decreased. The recent renovation has created one small space for reception and patients which is loud and does not help when it comes to privacy. There is banging noises from doors and it is just a really bad experience hearing everyone talking on the phone non stop, while waiting for an appointment. So disappointing that creating new rooms downstairs and profitability has been prioritised over the customer experience

Negative experience: Probably the worst dental practice I’ve ever visited. Disclaimer - This is my own experience and would not go again. I booked a £60 private emergency appointment for some wisdom tooth pain. The bad experience started with the man at reception who was very rude, blunt and not friendly. Waited 20 minutes to see the dentist. The dentist was average in terms of friendliness and the total appointment time came to 8 minutes. Half that time was spent by him typing on his computer. Overall, I felt like I was being rushed out and they didn’t really care. I understand appointments and people run late, but this was everything all at once and the worse part was that I paid a premium price for a private appointment, this was unacceptable. I do not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Had our first appointment (my husband, baby and myself) and were feeling a bit awkward as never seen a UK dentist before so was unsure of how things go, we were all seen by Dr Patel who was very approachable and respectful, explained everything patiently and answered all my questions, he was also very kind in seeing our 13 month old who wasn’t too keen on opening her mouth to count her teeth We have to travel 50min one way to get to the dental practice but really pleased we decided to register with this dental practice as a family, after reading all the great reviews, and all very happy with how we were treated by Dr Patel. The reception area is nice and comfortable, the receptionists we dealt with were helpful and friendly, our appointments ran on time, facilities were sparkly clean and also bonus for having parking available. She took the time to explain what she was going to do and even gave him his favourite Spider-Man sticker to cheer him up. Only want to see her every time we need to visit the dentist. Definitely would recommend this practice. The office space is so clean and modern too.

After unable to find a dentist in the area that had space for new nhs patients, I rung Cassio Road Dentist late one afternoon while having pain in my gum and received a dentist appointment for the next morning! Was back in a week later for work needed.

Fantastic experience: The dental practice has had complete building renovations and the interior is plush modern and clean. The receptionist who dealt with me was efficient and polite. I felt she could have been a bit more friendly and welcoming. She wasn’t rude, but I got the impression she was very busy and the booking in process felt rushed. A smile goes a long way and makes patients feel at ease. I also feel the reception area lacks privacy. You hear every conversation that is conducted in the waiting room and I would imagine patient confidentiality could be breached when discussing issues like medical concerns or benefit entitlement. I was booked in to see a dental hygienist. I was seen on time. Her room was clean and hygienic. She gave my teeth a thorough scale and polish and was professional and efficient. The quality of care at this practice is always good and the staff are knowledgeable and caring. Standards are high and staff are always professional. I have been a patient here for years and very happy overall with the service provided and would certainly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I Couldn't be more happy with Cassio Road Dental Surgery! Both dentists that I have seen, Sangeeta and Aliya are absolutely superb. The receptionists are polite and friendly. I hadn't been happy with my old dentist surgery for years. In September 2022, I was diagnosed with cancer. In October, I had an infection with two of my back molars which had spread along the gum line. I phoned my old dentist, and they said they had no appointments until mid December. I explained to the receptionist that I was in absolute agony, and with an attitude she said "you'll have to go to hospital." I phoned around local dentist and was luckily enough to find that Cassio Road Dental Surgery would see me as an emergency. Actually, the receptionist that booked me in for the appointment told me that as I had cancer, if the infection had spread it could of been fatal. So much for the experience of The Blue Cross 'dental practice.' As a lamen, I was naturally unaware of what danger I was in and I was shocked by the lack of knowledge and care given or not given by my old dentist which by the way is The Blue Cross in Watford. The difference in quality and care between these two dental surgeries speaks for itself. Cassio Road Dental Surgery are highly professional. The atmosphere of the place and the care provided reminds me of the days of the care from health care professional when I was a kid. In other words, they treat you with kindness and respect. I'm so happy with them and I highly recommend Cassio Road Dental Surgery for the best professional dental care. Ten out of ten. Saw the hygenesits today and she was so professional, gentle and kind. Can't recommend them enough!

Negative experience: Beautiful surgery…long waiting time-30 minutes with an appointment Met Dentist Sangeeta Shah (first time) for an emergency ( as I was in great pain). She who was rude, unprofessional & made personal attacks. She answered a question with attacks & has no respect for patients. Even if you are in pain- nobody deserves to be treated in this way. Stay away

Fantastic experience: I had quite a lengthy and complicated surgery but Dr Ali was such a professional, I didn’t feel any any pain and she was constantly assuring I was fine. Highly recommend signing up with them and ask for Dr Muskaan Ali.

Fantastic experience: It was my first time at this dental practice and was a bit nervous having to undergo a root canal. However, Dr Chirag Patel put me at ease straight away, explaining to me the procedure in details beforehand. He then talked me through the whole time and kept me updated on the progress. Negative experience: Clear discrimination between NHS and Private patients. Turned up for a family members appointment only to be told the doctor “refused to see us” with no further explanation. I’m sure if our appointment was for cosmetic procedures we’d be seen straight away. Complete clowns, unprofessional and outright greedy.

Fantastic experience: I had Dr. Pyae Aung for my root canal and he did a great job considering my tooth had a massive hole. Even my orthadontist complemented his work when he saw my teeth since my tooth was so bad before! He speaks very politely and always does a great job. One of the best dentists I've had in a long time! As his work is so delicate and superb in coming days he will have no time off or holidays but good for us patients. However the reception lady was rude so I have to book my next appointment on phone.

Negative experience: Horrible bridge... I got a bridge after I lost a front tooth and the false tooth is too large, crooked and too white. I'm ashamed to speak or smile. The tooth that was used as the bridge is now loose and moving a lot and I'm scared to eat for fear I will lose this tooth as well. I had to go back to get it shortened because it also was way longer than the other teeth and also had to shave off another bottom tooth because it was also moving since this one is too big. I regret going to this clinic so much! It shattered my confidence and I live in fear of losing my teeth every day. I need to eventually get implants to get this sorted. £1000+ for a tooth that looks horrible and made me so self-conscious to open my mouth and scared to eat.

Fantastic experience: I have seen a lovely dentist Dr J. Chadha at the cassio dental practice. She is very kind, helpful, polite and informative and a good listener. Positive experience: Good dentist surgery. DR S Patel always nice and polite. The new deco is lovely. The reception staff need bit of customer service training...they let the surgery down. Didn't even look at me when I first arrived and zero welcome or interest shown...

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Cassio Dental practice for well over 20 years, the staff are always courteous. All the dentists I have seen have been kind and caring. I am fortunate to have NHS treatment.

Negative experience: Had an appointment a short while ago and the hygienist said I need 5 appointments £50 each. First appointment she spent her time slowly cleaning my teeth and she could have cleaned so much more. Made an appointment somewhere else and I had my teeth cleaned in 2 appointments so the woman clearly tried taking my money even though I was a student then. Mentioned this to sangeeta shah there who’s a dentist, who then accused me of being a liar, began arguing with me, made me feel uncomfortable, completely denied and ignored what I was saying, and started going back and forth with me and such a defensive way like it was coming out of her own pocket making me feel very uncomfortable as a paying customer who’s spending my hard earned money the least one can do is show respect. I then wanted to make a follow up appointment afterwards but I had then realised she cancelled my appointment and took me off the practice, despite taking having taken my tooth out she disgustingly cancelled my appointment and took me off the practice. Very rude individual who obviously doesn’t have regard for patients and someone who doesn’t have a moral compass.

Fantastic experience: First off.. i am not a fan of going to the dentist due it being one of those things that makes me very anxious. The team here though are so lovely. All the people i spoke with at reception, on the phone plus the dentist and his assistant were really understanding, reassuring and professional. Ticked all my boxes and more.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient here for about 15 years, and also had fantastic treatment - from both dentists and hygienists. The practice is welcoming, efficient and clean, and has just had a very smart makeover. Everyone I’ve dealt with has been kind, friendly and professional, and I feel very happy with the service here.

Fantastic experience: Chirag Patel & his team were simply brilliant! I called up around 9.30am about my 5yr old son who I had sent into school even though he had some discomfort owing to what appeared to be some kind of growth by his molars. After a brief conversation with the reception team who explained our dentist, Chirag, didn't have any appointments available today, she messaged Chirag and said she'd call me back once he'd heard from him. I was driving at the time and said once I'd get to my destination I'd send a picture of the issue. Even before I parked, she called up to say bring him in asap before 1pm & Chirag will fit him in in between appointments. And that's exactly what he did and as per usual the service was impeccable! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient here for a while and have to say they are amazing. The receptionist are friendly and welcoming and the my dentist is truly wonderful. Appointments are easily available. Waiting time is quick. Had the best service by far and would definitely recommend.
