WeCare Dental – The No 1 Caring Dentist in Peterborough

Negative experience: Seems as my review from 2 months ago was conveniently removed, I shall post again. Scammers!!!!! Avoid at all costs. I came to We Care Dental (now know as RTW Surgeries) the start of the year for an Invisalign consultation, everything seemed great and in February I agreed to proceed and paid almost 4K in full for my treatment upfront. As soon as I paid, everything went downhill. I was told I could start my treatment in 3 weeks, turned up on the day to which Morne Williams the dentist informed me he had a ‘personal issue with invisliagn’ and therefore there would be another 3 weeks delay, I was promised that would be the max and if my aligners were not there at that point I could have a full refund. Unsurprisingly, the 3 week mark hit and again I was told my aligners were not back so I could not start treatment. At this point, I requested a full refund to which the practice manager agreed. Despite daily chasing for my refund and being constantly parred off, I was then told that the company had gone ‘bankrupt’ and they would have to reach out to the insolvency company for my money back - this was brand new information to me and took me by surprise considering this dentist is still taking on new patients as we speak, although now rebranded under RTW Surgeries despite many people losing a lot of money due to Morne Williams. Do not risk losing thousands of pounds, go elsewhere, avoid RTW Surgeries!!

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth and a root extraction today. Whole procedure was professional and explained well. The treatment was quick and pain free. Unfortunately I felt rather shaky when I stood up - possibly got up too quickly but not sure what caused it. Both dentist and nurse were very kind and looked after me, making sure I was OK before they took me out to my car. Thank you for your care.

Negative experience: They would rather throw away "£4000" worth of aligners, as in, literally in the bin, that they mistakingly ordered without my agreement, than figure out a way not to waste, and either spread the cost over 2 years or reduce the cost. Sent several emails. ethically and morally, what a waste, very shameful.

Negative experience: Poor quality and inconsistent treatment, rude dentist - not a good experience. If We Care Dental is serious about living up to its name, I'd suggest it focuses more on getting the basics right, and less on managing its image...

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t rate this dentist highly enough! Today I saw Jawaad about my damaged tooth which I thought was beyond saving and would have to be removed. But he found a way to make sure I didn’t have to completely lose my tooth. Thank you so much

Fantastic experience: Fabulous dentists. I’m so glad that I found them. For a person that hadn’t been to the dentist in excess of 10 years due a huge fear, they were amazing. Full explanations of treatment, what was needed and why was great. The calmness of the practice and dentists went a long way to start my journey with these dentists in the best possible way. Now all the work has been completed. I now look forward to my 6 monthly check ups and hygienist appointments

Negative experience: Joined the practice when Morne first set it up. We followed him from when he was at the practice in the town centre because we were so impressed with his care. He’s a genuinely lovely guy. Sadly however our experience has gone downhill. After a couple of years we were informed that we’re not Morne’s patients any more, he was concentrating on the cosmetic side. But there ARE patients still on his list having general dentistry so why were we removed from his list without our agreement? Morale among the subsequent dentists we’ve been given at the practice seems low and they don’t stay long. My husband was told that his appointment was cancelled on two occasions when he’d actually arrived at the surgery. No apology was offered. Now our lovely hygienist has left. We had an appointment booked with her for the middle of May. Now we have to reschedule. Why couldn’t the new hygienist take over the old hygienist’s appointments? I’m tired of paying a lot of money and answering the same questions over and over because the faces keep changing and I’m fed up being messed about so we’re leaving. I’ve given two stars because Morne is a great dentist if you can get to see him.

Negative experience: Poor admin service. I had a dental check up weeks ago and was told that I'd get a treatment plan sent on that same day or at the end of that same week. 6 weeks have gone past and I've still not received my treatment plan or refund for the consultation that was meant to be free. I've chased the clinic multiple times!!

Fantastic experience: I am so happy I found this amazing practice, Mr Parker is a wonderful dentist and has saved my tooth I thought I would lose. He is very highly skilled, kind and gentle, he explains the process and puts you at ease. I visited today with a slipped disc and he went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable and treated me whilst laying on my side with my back supported in a way that was comfortable for me. His dental nurse Monica is kind and wonderful too. I can't thank them enough. Both are great with my kids too. Jackie the hygienist is amazing and and a pleasure to visit, she's highly skilled and gives great advice on aftercare.

Fantastic experience: We’ve been with WeCare Dental from the start having followed our fabulous dentist Morne who setup the practice. Nothing is ever too much trouble, this is the place to go for thorough hygiene check ups and treatment. If there is a problem you know the Girls in Reception will pull out all the stops to get you an appointment. Recently a crown fractured I needed to see someone urgently and Nicola managed to get me seen very quickly. Fabulous treatment high end care we wouldn’t go anywhere else. Very highly recommend the best in Peterborough and surrounding..

Negative experience: Not impressed, the practice has done down hill since my last visit. I found the receptionist, sharp and unfriendly, my new dentist didn't give me any confidence, unclear on his instructions, unclear in his delivery of the issue, recommended antibiotics when there was no swelling or obvious signs of infection. I have cancelled my denplan and will find a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment with the hygenist. It went very well. I left with my teeth feeling very clean. The hygenist was very pleasant and informative. Have booked an appointment with my next dental checkup. 10/10 6 month check up and hygienist today 7 Dec 23. All good no problems. I almost enjoy going.(Almost!)

Positive experience: Recently attended my first general check up and hygienist appointment with this dentistry, and had a very pleasant experience. I was called in around the time of my appointments with minimal delays, and each of the professionals and nurses took me through the processes to be undertaken and recommended some useful advice. The receptionists were also very pleasant and were happy to explain the system.

Positive experience: I booked emergency appointment for my child as he was in pain, paid £70 upfront only to be told by dentist M. Ameen that he doesn't have a time for this. Horrible service. Reception literally had no explanation at all when I raised this issue. They literally just ignored me. Update: Manager of this dental practice handled situation very well, they made a refund and we will continue our treatment with Dr Y. Parker. He is wonderful dentist, especially with children.

Only adverse comment, why don't they give you the disclaimer to sign,(re sedation) when you first go in, so you have time to read in properly, instead of when they are waiting for you to go into the surgery, and you have to speed read it before you sign?

Fantastic experience: I came to WeCare Dental surgery after reading reviews online. After a free consultation with Dr Morne Williams about my suitability for All on 4 implant bridge I felt confident in his knowledge and ability to carry out a 1st class procedure. I had a fabulous anaesthetist who was so reassuring and kind. I had an assessment with him also before my procedure to discuss any concerns I had and have a medical assessment. On the day of my procedure I had sedation, dental extraction and All4 implants. I don't remember a thing about the procedure. Now that's the sort of dental experience I like. I walked away with a smile and no pain. I've seen the hygienist who was equally as professional. I am so excited about my final bridge. The staff are so attentive all so kind and caring. The environment feels very safe during these COVID times. Well I finally get my final implants upper jaw 8n 3 weeks. I went to see Dr Williams today 12th April to have my final fitting and choose the colour. Great team from reception through to the nurses and Dr Williams. Friendly, professional and kind.......looking forward to 3 weeks. UPDAtE; I'm over the moon with my new smile. Fabulous Fabulous Fabulous. I saw Dr Morne Williams a month ago no problems and he has put me on a annual review unless there's concerns Today I saw the hygienist her name escapes me. All I can say is .....she was so lovely kind and empowering. Thank you so much. 5 star plus from me all the way - thank you to all the team It's been 3 years now since my initial implants and still a first class service. Positive experience: Following a recent visit, I received the usual friendly and efficient service. The dentistry and hygienest work is excellent. However, on this visit, being covered by Denplan, I was informed by the dentist that I didn't have the appropriate cover for my teeth. I should be moved from a scale A to scale B. This would provide adequate cover. This also meant an increase in my monthly premiums. He stated I would be entitled to two inspections per year. (I already received two under scale A). It was never explained how scale A and B would differ. It all felt rushed. I should have asked more questions. More details should have been given.

Fantastic experience: Can't say enough good things about WeCare. The name is so appropriate. I visited a number of times for an extraction and implant. Very caring and professional and willing to answer all my questions. Zaneta was attentive and super nice, while Dr Carolissen was superb in everything from explaining what steps he was taking to the quality of the actual dental work.

Fantastic experience: I went in yesterday for a scale and polish with an hygienest at we care dental, the service was of they best, they made me feel welcome, safe and all were kitted up from top to bottom in PPE, after seeing the hygienest I saw Wayne who is nothing short of amazing and clearly knows what is he doing.,great job guys. its a shame I can only give u 5 stars I would have given 10 if I could. 100% reccomend them.

Fantastic experience: I have just completed a course to have an implant. Wayne and Zaneta are a brilliant team who made every effort to ensure I was relaxed, pain free, and fully aware of what they were doing. Wayne explained everything in detail, set out my options, helped me through the treatment, sharing x-ray photos and showing me the mock-up before fitting the crown to the implant. I felt very comfortable throughout the process and wouldn't hesitate to recommend WeCare Dental.

Negative experience: I’ve got very bad experience about payment. If I didn’t ask for invoice I could lose 99£ and no one said sorry about this (won’t be surprised just because I’m foreigner ). Now waiting refund

Fantastic experience: I had some sensitive in one of my teeth..I was seen without much delay by Dr Parkar, who sorted out the problem in a single visit. Very professional, friendly and efficient dentist.

Positive experience: Sept 2nd - one week after breaking tooth. The dentist at WeCare Stanground did a great job sticking my split tooth back together. I like that he told me and showed me what he was doing. A week later I saw Morne Williams at Fletton for a consultation on the best option for my split tooth. He is always very friendly and explains the options well. 11th Oct had tooth removed and post fitted - some concern that the best size insert was used - they didn't have the one Morne would have preferred. My only complaint about WeCare is the number of times the receptionists contact me with reminders about my appointment- emails and phone call - not necessary! Jan 2023 had to wait for half an hour while Morne dealt with an emergency. Then felt he was rushing to catch up. Which resulted in a fair bit of pain as he tweeked my insert. I felt he was a bit stressed and therefore it was not the usual pleasant experience.

Fantastic experience: Had bad toothache. Emergency Appointment given for next day and tooth removed painlessly. Couldnt fault service provided by Mr Charles and the staff at WeCare Dental Surgery.

Negative experience: Gill & Derek Hayes are not very impressed with their new dental surgery at Wecare. . Our dentist Victoria & nurse Kathryn are very professional & helpful. The premises are very clean & Covid aware. There is a lift for the less-able for easy access to the surgeries on the first floor. We have not received the care we are entitiled to under our Denplan agreement. Several appointments have been cancelled at the last minute, we have only had one inspection appointment and one hygienist appointment in the last 12/ 15 months. Gill & Derek Hayes

Fantastic experience: WeCare Dental delivery an outstanding dental care from standard check up and professional hygienist appointments thanks to Steph to orthodontic and emergency treatment. My family of four have received all of the above and now I can smile without a growing gap due to the orthodontic treatment I had with Wayne and his fab team. I have been enormously grateful for the treatment over the past couple of weeks with a troubling wisdom tooth. Negative experience: I have been there before and had a 5 star experience. Today however was a lot different. After waiting for half an hour in place where i was told to - doctors assistant arrived and asked me upstairs where i was sort of confronted by the doctor about why did i not come upstairs. After what seemed a quick survey and what seemed a bit rushed inspection i was spoken to in a way as if i would know everything myself. Overall i did not like the attitude of the doctor - seemed like i am borrowing his time. It might be, that it was just bad timing for me, but i do not think i will proceed with my treatment there. I did however notice the doctor in the hallway that i was attending the previous time and from what i saw it was the same amazing attitude that brought me back there to begin with. And the ladies in reception were lovely. :)

Fantastic experience: I had a great appointment thank you. Compared to the practise near the football ground, it was much more peaceful and relaxed. The surgeries are both very effective and have managed to lessen my fear of dentists!

Fantastic experience: I would class myself as a nervous patient when it comes to any dental work like extractions & I can honestly say that Wayne created the most pain free experience I've ever had when he removed a tooth for me on Friday. The next day I couldn't even complain, it was just a mild ache once the anesthetic wore off and since then it's like the extraction never happened. Highly recommend the expertise of Wayne & the team at we care Stanground.

Positive experience: I have had extensive treatment over a number of months. All staff go above and beyond to make you feel safe and comfortable during treatment and when I needed an adjustment on a tooth following a previous procedure, they fitted me in promptly. I am very happy with my dental care at Wecaredental and would highly recommend them. I am just adding a foreword which is dated today August 6th as although very happy with my treatment, I have referred a few members of my family to wecaredental and have been abit disappointed that treatment prices were not clear on the website and the increases were not updated on the mobile phone web page. My daughter booked for treatment at the price dictated on her phoneWeb page and only got one treatment honoured at the illustrated price. Abit misleading and I feel bad about promoting how caring they were and then being unfair with prices. Update 18 Aug. Thankyou wecaredental for honouring both prices from original mobile phone website, for my daughters treatment. I feel that's fair.

Fantastic experience: Extremely helpful, appointments are easy to book, friendly dentists that are knowledgeable. Needed a root canal but anaesthetic just wouldn't work properly for me, they were able to refer me to another WeCare dentist who got the job done quickly. I'm a very nervous patient but the dentists here are very good at helping you relax, they explain everything and listen to your concerns.

Positive experience: Quite a bit of confusion with my appointment today. My time slot was changed initially , then the following day my hygienist reported in sick and finally the dentist who i’d been booked in with was different when I got there. However I saw Dr Charles and I like him a lot and the receptionist had very kindly asked if he would do my hygiene treatment as well which he did, so it worked out alright in the end.

Positive experience: My appointment was changed at last minute (i.e. within 30 mins of appt) which was inconvenient & just a little irritating. It wasn't handled particularly well but was resolved when I challenged and we were able to agree a suitable time later the same day. The treatment it's self is always good and the dentist is always v pleasant & v professional. (I was given full explanation for changing my appointment when I was at the surgery, which I appreciated) Overall I would definitely recommend this surgery.

I've had minimum discomfort after and have not needed any painkillers, What more can be said? Other than perhaps I should have taken more care of them.

Fantastic experience: I have been messed around by a previous dental practice, tried these guys out, I am not a dentist person but they are so professional, organised, it’s great. Myself also family are now on denplan which is even better. Just recently had a hygienist appointment top job, recommended to all. Best practice in Peterborough by far. Wayne is top dog!!

Fantastic experience: As always with Wayne, a very good visit and like a lot of people a visit to the dentist is not top of my to do list! Late on I had the hygienist appointment postponed as they were all sick but Wayne carried this out as well and to be honest that actually suits me best. I can thoroughly recommend Wayne at WeCare Dental practice.

Fantastic experience: I was greeted by the reception team and invited to the waiting area, I was escorted to the Victoria who works in a modern well kept surgery. She gave my teeth a scale and polish while the injection took effect. She then set about fixing the chipped filling. I felt no discomfort as she worked.

Fantastic experience: Feel so confident with this practice. I started with the previous dentist that owned it and was a very nervous patient. Moyne and Wayne have looked after me throughout the whole transition and made me feel very looked after. Paula always does everything she can to make me feel comfortable before I go in always a lovely experience (for a dentist!)

Fantastic experience: I've been using WeCare Dental since they opened in 2019. The surgery is pleasant and the staff are always very professional and friendly. Today I had my teeth cleaned by the hygenist, Steph, who was very throrough but gentle. She also offered advice on my cleaning regime. My Dentist, Mornay carried out my 6 monthly checkup, very thoroughly and included an xray. I am very pleased with the service and will continue using WeCare.

Fantastic experience: Had to have an emergency appointment for a crown that had come off a tooth with an implant. The lady at the front desk was able to get an appointment sorted out late on a Friday afternoon and it was fixed with no problem. Very impressed with the modern equipment and nice staff too. Glad I found this practice.

Fantastic experience: After much deliberation over many years, I finally took the plunge and had two implants inserted yesterday for a bridge. Firstly, all the preparation leading up to the surgery was first class. On the day I was welcomed by Wayne, Sandra and Ritu who all made me feel very welcome and relaxed, with a clear understanding that there is no rush. We went through all the pre-meds and paperwork very thoroughly whilst seated comfortably. Final explanation from Wayne and opportunity for questions and the surgery began. Wayne has a very relaxed manner, making one feel relaxed too. Without going into all the details, the surgery to totally painless, barely any vibration and none of the classic high pitched drilling! Once completed, again, no rush, making sure I was ok, arranging the check-up appointment in reception himself, Wayne left me feeling a highly valued client / patient. Today, I have no pain, no discomfort, nothing. Reflecting on the procedure, I would say it was no worse than a large filling! I am really kicking myself now for not having had it done before! I would like to thank Wayne for making me feel relaxed and doing the surgery with such skill that I barely know that I’ve had anything done. Also thank you to Sandra and Ritu for being patient and looking after me through the procedure. Would I recommend Wayne and the team? Absolutely!
