Fantastic experience: I had a good experience with Same Day Dentist. The appointment went smoothly and the staff was professional and polite. Everything was explained clearly and the treatment was done efficiently. Clean clinic and good overall service. Would recommend.
Negative experience: I had 6 white fillings done by this dentist practice around 8 months ago, and unfortunately, my experience has been quite disappointing. Already, 3 of the fillings have either fallen out or started to deteriorate, leaving me with sensitivity and pain in multiple teeth. I expected the work to last significantly longer, especially given the cost and the supposed quality of materials used. While the dentist was polite and the procedure itself was initially painless, the long-term results have been far from acceptable. I now have to seek further treatment to repair or redo the fillings, which is both inconvenient and costly. I would advise others to be cautious and consider asking more detailed questions about the materials used and the durability of the dental work.

Fantastic experience: It was my first visit to the Watford Same Day Dentist. I'm not comfortable with Dentist in general and was very nervous about attending. All my worries were to put bed with the team I saw today. I was put at ease, everyone was very professional, it was explained in detail to me, what the plan would be for appointments coming up. Negative experience: Good services, but they are always delayed making you to wait 20-30 minimum each time at least. Instead if you are 10 min late, they won't accept you anymore. Apart from this, all good

In such cases, we typically offer a rescheduling option—this ensures every patient receives the full attention and quality service they deserve. As for waiting times, we acknowledge that occasional delays can happen, especially when a medical case requires more time than initially planned. Her kind and calming presence made a big difference, especially since dental visits can be a little nerve-wracking. She took great care of both of us and explained everything clearly with such a gentle approach. Fantastic experience: Trepidation and anxiety I realised, without being told, I needed dental treatment. Shopping in Asda, noticed the Sameday dentist, plucked up courage and went in. Arranged an appointment for Tuesday This afternoon I returned, warm welcome, comfortable atmosphere. 5 minutes later, sitting, or laying, in dental chair. Every apparatus was new, lady dentist was obliging in every sense. X-rays taken, necessary work was explained, all shown to me on big television screen. Never before have I ever experienced same or similar experiences in any dental surgery. Given written summery of necessary work, charges very acceptable. Negative experience: Booked an initial appointment back in September, called to cancel however no answer - appointment was missed. Tried calling to arrange a new appointment however was advised that I need to pay a did not attend charge of £50. Advised I am happy to put a deposit down for an appointment however was told that a payment of £50 would need to be made first then a deposit would be required for the consultation. Unprofessional!

At the time of booking, an appointment confirmation message was sent to you, requesting a reply of "YES" to confirm. Unfortunately, we did not receive a confirmation from you, meaning the appointment remained unconfirmed in our system. You also mentioned that you attempted to call us but received no answer. While we make every effort to answer all calls promptly, we also return all missed calls as part of our standard protocol. Additionally, we offer several alternative methods of communication for our patients’ convenience—these include replying to the confirmation text with “NO” to cancel, sending a text message, using WhatsApp, or contacting us through social media. To reschedule, the non-attendance fee must be paid first, and as with all initial consultations, a separate £50 deposit is then required to secure a new appointment. We understand that policies like these can be frustrating, but they are in place to ensure fairness and efficiency for all our patients and staff. We're sorry that following these standard procedures came across as unprofessional to you, as our intention is always to maintain a respectful and well-organised service. Negative experience: Hade a temporary bridge made at this dental practice and was broken after just 3 days. Went for another bridge that hade to be re cemented ,paid £300 and after few days fell off.Call the practice and i was told that they can’t help me anymore.Paid few hundred pounds for a bad service.

Fantastic experience: They are just amazing for children! After my4 y/o son had a fall at school they saw him straight away and made him so comfortable that he skipped in there and happily sat in the chair by himself the next time! Normally he'll scream and cry at his usual dentist. They now have a new client for life

Positive experience: I had an orthodontic treatment with Dr. Andreea, and I’m very satisfied with her work, she does an excellent job. I’m giving three stars because the reception and communication weren’t great, and I usually had to wait 30-40 minutes after my scheduled appointment to get in. Fantastic experience: I went with a tooth abscess and wasn’t sure what option was best and Dr Daniel Colesnic was very nice and professional had an X-ray done he and explained to me everything. Fantastic experience: I found the clinic by chance when I was seriously considering going to Romania to fix my tooth problem. I had 3 doctors working on my tooth and the experience was above my expectations. I had Dr Andreea doing an abcess drainage and although I was terrified, I felt absolutely nothing. I then had Dr Mihnea performimg a re-root canal treatment for 2.5h and despite the complications, he managed to save my tooth from an extraction, which is a huge relief. And then I had Dr Alexandra helping with the crown. She did a great job and helped me stay calm during the process. But apart from the expertise and knowledgeable doctors, I have received great customer service from the girls at the reception. They called me after each procedure to ask how I was feeling. I kept in close contact with the clinic/doctors on whatsapp to check on my healing process. I am very happy with how we have been collaborating and I am actually continuing the treatment with the clinic for other minor problems. It's a huge relief to know that I am signed up with a good dental clinic here in the UK, so that I don't have to travel abroad for any tooth problems.

Negative experience: Disappointed, i usually come here for scale and polish and experience has been very good. I was offered a 10% birthday discount and called the following day (bank holiday yesterday) to make a booking and told they wont honour this because it only applied for 2 days....i guess your priorities are you prefer your customers to have a negative experience rather than apply a 10% discount from a regular customer, oh well!

Let's be honest, dental appointments aren't always sunshine and rainbows. But let me tell you, my recent hygiene visit at SameDay Dentists was a game-changer! From the ease of booking on the same day … -they weren’t kidding when they came up with their name!!! No long waiting! To the friendly faces of the ladies at reception, the entire experience deserves a shoutout. My afternoon started with a sudden urge to clean my teeth because my smile was not what it once was. So whilst doing my shopping in Asda I thought I might pop in and ask SameDay dentist if there were any available appointments. Imagine my delight when the very friendly receptionist told me there was an appointment an hour and a half later. SameDay Dentist really does offer SameDay appointments!!! No need for endless phone calls or countless emails just a quick hello, smiles and pleasant conversation with the receptionist. Upon arrival, the reception area was bright and welcoming. The receptionist greeted me with an unbelievably warm smile and efficiently handled the registration paperwork I filled out. After this I received two texts on my phone; one reminding me of when my appointment was, and the other a medical history survey. The medical history questionnaire was thorough but not too much and it provided boxes for you to write down any details if you want instead of just answering yes/no which showed me they truly care about patients' health and wellbeing. After completing the questionnaire on my phone then came the stars of the show – my nurse who smiled at me and walked me to the surgery and my dentist bang on time. Thank you ever so much ladies forgive me for not remembering your names (I’m terrible with names!) But what I won’t forget was that everyone I met exuded a calming welcoming presence that instantly put me at ease. Throughout the cleaning, the dentist's and nurses' touches were very light and the suctioning was perfect and they gave me goggles to protect my eyes. They also kept on talking to me and calming music was playing in the background. It wasn’t one of those appointments which we all dread where we have to stop every 30 seconds to spit. The dentist and the nurse worked in perfect unison and they explained each step clearly and ensured my comfort with gentle touches. No harsh scraping or judgmental lectures – just thorough cleaning with a positive and encouraging approach. I left feeling not just squeaky clean, but empowered to maintain good oral hygiene at home. Overall, my hygienist appointment at SameDay Dentist was an unexpected delight. They've set a new standard for dental care – efficient, professional, and genuinely patient-centered. If you're looking for a fantastic hygiene experience, then honestly look no further! *P.S. The fact they’re located in Asda means there is no need to stress about parking! You can get in and out quickly and do your shopping as well. Talk about killing two birds with one stone!

Fantastic experience: I had my first experience with SameDay Dentists today. I’d not been to a dentist for 6 years. I’d had a few bad experiences with dentists, as had my wife. Alex and her colleague were wonderful, kind and caring, and put me at my ease immediately. It was the best experience I’ve ever had at a dentist. I’ve got to have some treatment, but considering I’ve not been for so long, it’s absolutely fine. I’m so happy I may have even persuaded my wife to try them. I recommend them very highly indeed. I won’t be using anyone else from now on. UPDATE: have been three times in two weeks now. After 6 years of neglect, there was work to be done! Each time, I was treated with care and kindness. Today my dentist Alex even remembered something I was doing yesterday which was stressing me out, and asked me how it was. That’s a first! I’m now set up (hopefully) for the next 6 months. I won’t be going anywhere else. Faith in dentists = restored - and yes, this is a genuine review from a very happy client.

Positive experience: Miserable greeting from reception upon arrival today. No hello, how are you etc. Just Name, take a seat so this wasn't the best start especially for those that are nervous about attending the dentist. The dentist was however lovely and very kind, she took her time and made me feel at ease. I required a root canal which I assume she couldn’t do as I was told I would need to make an appointment with a specialist. So unfortunately I had to pay nearly £100 to be seen without any treatment. Off to another dentist now who can do the treatment today as I’m in severe pain!
