Fantastic experience: As a nervous patient, this dental surgery is the ideal atmosphere to be in. Dr Santhia is very calming and reassuring. Highly recommended and totally worth it.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had six visits to this clinic over the past two months, and every single experience has been exceptional. I initially came in for an Invisalign consultation with Dr. Prem, who took the time to thoroughly explain the entire process in a way that was easy to understand and reassuring. Although I couldn’t begin the Invisalign treatment right away due to some dental issues, both Dr. Prem and Dr. Santhia handled everything with such care and professionalism. They explained every procedure clearly so I always felt informed and at ease. One of the highlights was a root canal done by Dr. Prem, it went far smoother than I ever expected. I experienced zero pain or discomfort after the procedure, which honestly felt like a miracle. The entire team, from the dental assistants to the receptionists, has been incredibly warm and welcoming at every visit. It genuinely doesn’t feel like a typical dentist’s office. I no longer dread going to the dentist and will definitely be keeping up with regular visits, this time, willingly!

Fantastic experience: I was referred to the LDSC recently for a surgical extraction with gas and air and cannot fault the experience (other than I didn’t think the gas and air was as strong as when I was a child!). I opted for this over the intravenous sedation as I did not like the thought of having no memory of the day. I have suffered no pain at all and am amazed. All the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful and I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: From the moment I walked into reception until the moment I walked out the experience was above and beyond . The Denist was clean and tidy the sedation nurse and her assistant was amazing they explained everything before starting . The banter between them and myself took my mind of everything that was going before I knew there was a little tug , and the tooth was out . They showed me the tooth and explained they scraped out all the infection . Took me to a separate room for after care and explained what I needed to do next . I will recommended this dentist to friends and family .

Fantastic experience: Went in for an extraction of a tooth in my palate was extremely nervous about the whole process even though I had received pre surgery consultation over the phone when I arrived I was greeted with really friendly staff who made me feel at ease about everything my appointment was exactly on time and the team in the room were great and I started to feel very relaxed and before I knew it the whole thing was over and they made sure I was happy before I left if I am ever in need of another procedure of the same kind I would not hesitate to go back

Fantastic experience: Had a tooth extraction i was dreading it but it went really well I remember them checking which tooth it was and then it was done I was worried the sedation dose wasn't going to knock me out but it did, I had a sedation dose when I had a Colonoscopy and I was wide awake so I thought this might be the same but this must have been a higher dose because I don't remember them taking my tooth out. So overall very happy with the service and most of all pain free so if anyone's going for the same thing I can assure you it will be easy

Negative experience: This was a very stressful experience for my 11-year-old daughter. She was told to lie back and they were just going to have a look in her mouth and clean her teeth, She was fully aware that she was having teeth removed so not quite sure why they thought it would be a good idea to lie to her. She was quite upset and told if she didn’t stop crying she would have to go to the hospital to have it done instead

Fantastic experience: Can't recommend highly enough. I am an extremely nervous patitent and this was my second visit. Staff extremely helpful and Dr Hassan who removed my tooth under sedation was so calming and made me feel relaxed. Didnt feel any pain and now 2 dasy after my extraction i feel fine. Fantastic experience: The dentist had to extract A LOT of my teeth and I was nervous to say the least. He was charming without being OTT, confident without being arrogant and very, very good at his job! The extractions were done quickly and efficiently and I had no discomfort at all. I was reassured throughout the entire process and have had no problems since. If only all dentists were as good as this guy - I wouldn’t have developed the phobia that led to the loss of my teeth.. The assistant was also lovely and held my hand throughout. I honestly cannot recommend them highly enough

Fantastic experience: Had to have 2 teeth removed from bone under sedation. Appointment was on time and the staff were nice and very relaxing. Once in the room they explained everything to me. Once given the sedation that was it. I remember seeing the tools and feeling the pressure in the mouth but no pain. I was escorted to me escort from the recovery room. Was in an out in an hour. Also no bruising not even in the hand from the cannula although 24hrs later I'm eating liquid food as I have some discomfort that you would expect from the type of procedure. Very clean very professional very polite. Fully recommend and would go again when needed.

Fantastic experience: I was referred by my dentist to have my wisdom tooth extracted at LDSC. From the initial phone call from this clinic, firstly from the dentist who was doing the treatment, who was excellent (Christine), and then from the receptionist who booked my appointment, which was in a couple of weeks, I can't praise this clinic enough. I've had my wisdom teeth for the past 32 years so I was a bit apprehensive as to how difficult the extraction would be. I had IV sedation and the whole procedure was painless, and I had stitches too. I was taken to the recovery room where a lovely lady sat in the room for about 20mins or so monitoring everything and everyone who was in there too. Very informative throughout and the information given for aftercare was excellent. I had my procedure done 2 days ago and have followed all the advice, plenty of rest, fluids and soft food. Today I can see swelling appearing so I will be getting the ice packs out. Thank you to all of you for making me feel at ease and for a painless extraction.

Fantastic experience: My son, 18 and autistic, was terrified before his appointment. Not only was it his first extraction but he had to go somewhere unknown with people unknown. Dr Neeta Patel was amazing, soothing even. She explained everything to him as if she had all the time in the world which I'm sure she did not. Negative experience: I chose to book with this dental surgery after breaking a tooth and seeing all the great reviews. I was booked in with Dr Santhia Selvaratnan who is the most unreliable health professional I have ever known. From the first appointment till the last, there have been constant cancellations. I had to wait over 7 weeks for treatment due to the repeated cancellations. I stressed that I require this treatment asap as I will be going away but that made no difference. I had paid over £150 upfront for this appointment and the surgery would have been happy to keep my money had I not made attempt to contact them after my holiday. Further to this, when I finally managed to get treatment, the dentist did not explain what she was doing and was pretty rough. I have no fear of dentists but the whole experience was very uncomfortable even for me. Definitely would not recommend this dentist to anyone.

They always answer the hotline if you have a query. They can improve the service by communicate to parents more.

Fantastic experience: My 6 year old daughter came yesterday for 4 fillings. The reception staff were lovely and welcoming and put my nerves at ease. The nurse and dentist were incredible with her. I wish we had more opportunity like this for adults to ease fears of the dentist. My daughter enjoyed the experience, she was given a teddy to cuddle that has the equipment on its nose that she was to have too. Everything was explained to my daughter before she had her procedure. And even better she got to watch tv whilst having it done. When finished we went into the recovery room and the lady in there was really lovely too. We were in and out by half 9 and appointment was at 9am. Thank you to you all at Leagrave Dental
