Fantastic experience: Excellent receptionists,Dr Parker was kind and listened to my concerns.Emergency appointment which i got with no trouble.No hesitation in recommending this practise.

Positive experience: Not sure how to review an appointment which was very long and stressful for me. However cannot fault the dentist and her technician, very welcoming and understanding. I still have to go back to finish treatment.

Fantastic experience: After a tooth broke during extraction and the dentist was unable after several attempts to remove roots i was referred to Together Dental Braintree. I received a call within a week and had an appointment booked for just over a month later. I turned up to my appointment and booked in and was called in almost straight away. The dentist was excellent and once everything had been explained and the anaesthetic injected both roots were extracted first time in a couple of minutes !. Such a relief and could not be happier with the result, now recovering but still amazed at the skill of the oral surgeon

Fantastic experience: My daughter has her first appointment the orthodontist Liana Budurin today and we were both blown away. She is so passionate, knowledgeable and caring… honestly her care and thoughtfulness far far far exceeded our expectations. Listening to her we learnt so much and found the whole appointment fascinating. We consider ourselves very lucky to have her as my daughter’s orthodontist!

Fantastic experience: I recently visited Together Dental Practice for a scale and polish with Bernadette Nelson, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. She was extremely professional, friendly, and put me at ease straight away. Bernadette explained everything she was doing throughout the appointment, which made the whole process feel smooth and reassuring. What really stood out was the time she took to give me proper advice on dental hygiene. She clearly demonstrated how to floss and brush correctly using a model set of teeth and a toothbrush, which was so helpful. I left feeling much more confident about my daily routine. Highly recommend Bernadette for anyone looking for thorough, professional, and caring dental care.

Fantastic experience: Always such first class service from Sonal. X ray showed two teeth need to come out and Sonal managed to fit me in early next morning as she knew I was off on hol following Mon.

Negative experience: Braintree Together dentist that I have been allocated is lazy. Been twice for a routine check up and the dentist cannot be asked to check child's teeth properly. Went to a London dentist for same concerns and immediately child was checked thoroughly and put through to get braces. The dentist at Braintree just want private money and not the health of children's teeth

Negative experience: I called to advise my 1 year old was poorly and couldn't attend his first dental appointment. After I eventually got through (line kept ringing and then someone cut me off) I was met with a very rude lady who kept advising me of a 3 strike rule! Believe me, it's not what I want either with my child being poorly and I don't appreciate being called 'darling'! I'll now look for another practice!

Negative experience: After reading these lovely reviews, I clearly visited on an off day! No smile, no hello, just 'sit down'. The dentist I saw was offhand and surly to say the least and the nurse was only marginally friendlier.

Negative experience: Rude staff on the desk, coughing down the phone so I couldn’t hear well. Told me no emergency appointments for a whole month for nhs patients but you can become private and get seen straight away they don’t let you see anyone else and the dentist I see only works 2 days a week. Seriously! I called up later to be taken off their books. Found another NHS dentist elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: My very first visit to Together Dental today for an Extraction. To say I was nervous is an understatement! I was put at ease and had all my concerns answered.. nothing was to much trouble...and was treated with respect and dignity. Thank you so much..

Fantastic experience: I had a consultation with Brad Hawkins to determine if I was suitable for the shorter implants in the bottom right of my mouth which would complete the work I had done. Thankfully I was suitable and within 2 weeks I had my appointment and two implants placed that will accommodate 3 teeth. This was the final surgery and I’m just waiting for the bridge to be placed in the next 8 weeks. I can not stress the pleasure it has been. I am over the moon with the professionalism and skill demonstrated in placing implants in bone that had minimal depth. Thank you so very much.

Fantastic experience: I can’t thank Bernadette enough for my experience at the surgery as a new patient this morning. I suffer greatly with dental anxiety, and was in quite a panic when I arrived for my hygiene appointment. The receptionist staff were lovely and prompt. Within seconds of meeting Bernadette I felt calmer. She was friendly, informative and thorough whilst still being gentle. The surgery is very clean and modern, and has a calming atmosphere. I’d 100% recommend.

Before I felt like I wasn’t listened to or kept up to date with my treatment, but once with Jen and Shauna it completely changed and I have been left feeling better than ever. Negative experience: Awful, left part of my mothers tooth in following extraction in November 2023. She has dementia and she kept saying it was hurting and felt like a bit of tooth stuck. Kept being given antibiotics and told it's only an infection. This has been going on all over Christmas, with my mother in pain finally after demanding an x-ray in January and no surprise part of tooth left behind. Decided to extract the tooth, left waiting for so long for specialist appointment it's embedded in the gum and now not hurting so they will not remove. Still trying to resolve and we are in March !!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: As always Together Dental Braintree is a 1st class service. From the booking, to the welcome on arrival to the treatment, all the staff are brilliant. Would recommend to anyone needing a dentist, brilliant service all round.

Negative experience: I attended this practice, my children did, after the stress caused that I’ve no found as a “dentist” you actually had no right to say. I was told my child needed an electric tooth brush, which we got, because he was showing slight signs of decay. I would like to add the tooth was a baby tooth & he was 12. I was told if it continued I would be reported for “child neglect” which is false! Because as dentist that means you would report the children who are under five with tooth decay, silver caps & some get hospitalised due to to other decay the average in the uk 4-5 year olds is 29.2% suffer with tooth decay! Also what about the people who suffer with needs & sensory. This why I never registered with you & my teeth are beyond repair! Tooth decay due to neglect! Due to drinking fizzy for a good 15 years of my life! I know & have to LIVE STILL in pain thanks to such comments made by your dentist! Even made me more ashamed to show my mouth. My child’s current dentist is impressed with the teeth they have & that it can be seen they are well looked after his now 14 with 2 baby teeth still! This had a bad mental effect & added worry to my child also! Maybe to state it can be seen as neglectful next time! Not that it’s “child abuse & can be reported for neglect” because as a dentist you don’t have that power! And I’ve seen first hand children’s teeth far worse then my children’s but as stated, they can have needs & issues.

Negative experience: Was sent upstairs then told to come back down as they failed to register my presence. By the time they were ready it was to rearrange my appointment which I did. Next time is in April so hope it’s better then.

Fantastic experience: Like many people I’m not a fan of visits to doctors or dentists but Mr Yunus Akhalwaya and Bernadette Nelson were absolutely superb and you feel totally at ease and relaxed with them. I am now so much happier and confident that I’ve booked already again earlier than needed ! Ps Bernadette did an unbelievably good job on my clean and polish visit

Fantastic experience: Mr Y Akhalwaya was as pleasant as ever, I really don't like dentists but he is always patient and explains things, so makes it easy.

Negative experience: I spoke with a receptionist to make an appointment over the phone. She laughed at me when I asked if there was any chance of an appointment today. I was then taken on a guilt trip for not seeing a dentist for 6 months. I can understand that my enquiry was unlikely and potentially unfeasible given the circumstances of my situation, however, when a patient is suffering significant pain from a bad tooth, the tone of conversation should not make the patient feel belittled by receptionist staff. I have been visiting Together Dental since I was 5 years old. I will not be returning here again.

Fantastic experience: Excellent. Liana is fantastic at communicating with teenagers and put my son completely at ease. The journey to braces is not always an easy one, if I’d had the sort of care shown to my son I may have not had a lifetime of wonky teeth.

Fantastic experience: I am so pleased with the results of my composite bonding performed by Yunus, he has seriously changed my life and given me the most perfect smile that I’ve longed for. Yunus listens and understands all that you ask for and genuinely wants to help achieve the perfect smile for you. I’ve had so many compliments from people saying how amazing and natural they look, which is exactly what I wanted. I’ve finally got my confidence back and I can’t stop smiling and it’s all thanks to Yunus, I couldn’t recommend him enough.

Positive experience: I think the booking system needs looking at ,I was given an appointment for last Tuesday which didn't go ahead as the person doing the x-ray was on holiday and then today I was told they might not be able to do it as they were too busy,I got done in the end

Negative experience: Service at this dental clinic has bombed since Together Dental took over. It's no longer personal care, instead "what services can we sell". I have to make a separate appointment for the hygienist, where in the past it was included in the check up. Add to that, my annual check up has now been moved twice, and they expect me to call and reschedule. When it was St Michael's, I'd get a phone call and an apology. Given that dental service nationally on it's knees, I've little choice to but to accept this.

Fantastic experience: Liana was wonderful with my son! It’s so refreshing to see her address my son rather than taking about him to me. I believe she picked up on my sons behavioural needs and was a wonderful calming influence! Highly recommend Liana!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been with this dentist for roughly 20 years, Dr Parker and the other staff are some of the kindest and most understanding dentists you could meet and will do what they can if your nervous.

Negative experience: Had an appointment booked and had to wait 1 hour 20 minutes to be seen. Reception never said sorry for the delay and a sit and wait client was taken in before us. We had another appointment elsewhere and were late for that also. The dental treatment that day good as always but felt last visit customer care was poor.

Negative experience: The dentist we saw (for which we have waited over a year for an appointment with) was rude and unhelpful. Scared the living daylights out of my daughter. We are lucky enough that we can go private for this treatment as would hate to have to drag ,y child back to see this demon dentist every appointment. Such a shame for the NHS.

Fantastic experience: Finished some treatment today with Brad Hawkins , I am a very nervous patient , his assistant was very good , I received excellent treatment , I thought the staff on the desk were very friendly and caring , most of them have been there a number of years , really pleased with the crowns I have had fitted , I have some more work to be done , I will be more than happy to return .

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been having treatment with Liana for nearly a year now and what a lovely lady she is ( and of course her lovely assistant) She has a great character and is funny which makes our visits positive and makes my daughter look forward to her appointments. Positive experience: I found the experience scary. I was shaking soon as I was in the chair. 2x numbing stuff to remove a wisdom and soon as he tried, it absolutely killed. That's not on him though maybe could of administer more numbing stuff. Being referred for sedation :)

Fantastic experience: Was in excruciating pain during weekend. Phoned Monday early, apptmnt. 11:00 Tues. morning. Tooth removed in less than 5 minutes by Dr. Parker. (as NHS patient) Excellent, friendly, caring process. Recommend this practise wholeheartedly.

Fantastic experience: Saranya is a very skilled dentist who assured me my broken tooth would not cause her a problem to repair, she proved this in a caring and patient way. I was convinced it was beyond repair when I broke it. She has recently taken over my care from my previous dentist at the same practice who decided to leave, I am pleased to feel the same confidence that I had previously with my previous dentist.

Fantastic experience: I (David Sutton) made an appointment today (06/07/22) was seen and the treatment resolved my problem. What an excellent service - fast, efficient and effective. Thank you Dr Yunus Akhalwaya I (David Sutton) attended an appointment on Thursday 9th June 2022 with Brad Hawkins who fixed my implant. Thank you for seeing me during your busy schedule. Thank you. My (David Sutton) appointment on Saturday 11th June 2022. The treatment that I received from Jenni Parrish was excellent. The treatment involved, 3 extractions, and what was happening at each stage was explained very thourouly by her. I was given the choice of the number of extractions that I would have at this appointment. I initially asked to have 2 extractions and on completion of these extractions I asked for the third extraction to be carried out. My decision based my experience of the first 2 extractions. On completion the details of the extraction and cavities remaining were explained including the aftercare that is required.. Thank you also to my Dentist Yunus Akhalwaya for arranging this appointment with the surgeon Jenni Parrish. I (Helma Sutton) could have not asked for a better treatment yesterday (25th May 2022);; it was, as it always is superb. The treatment was excellent. Thank you The treatment that I had (David) with Bernadette the Hygenist was excellent, with lots of advice. However I also thought it was extremely expensive at £114 per hour, as I only have 9 teeth and 3 of those are implants. On the 13th April I (David) had an accute toothache and called in at the surgery for help. Dr Akhalwaya was able to see me and perscribed antibiotics, and arranged for further treatment with a surgeon. I was very impressed with the efficiency and speed that this was carried out and today 14th April I have an appointment with the surgeon.

Fantastic experience: Had emergency appointment with dentist on 28th June 2022, she was very professional , polite and explanation given to me at all times including showing me the X-ray taken of my troublesome tooth. Will be very happy to have her at any time

Fantastic experience: An efficient and friendly service. I particularly like the way Dr Akhalwaya explains clearly what he is doing - and what he is about to do! No unpleasant surprises here. Quality of work excellent. I agree with another comment, that the reception area is not well designed, harsh and noisy and far from ideal for the receptionists with poor acoustics and lighting. However, that's a detail - I am very happy with 'Together Dental'.

Fantastic experience: Being a person who is not a lover of going to the dentist I can't fault this practice it's the only place I have felt at ease. The staff are great & the dentist that I see is wonderful totally understands my nerves.

Negative experience: Having had to re-arrange appointments a couple of times, due to covid related illnesses, I was on my way to my check up today when I had to stop and call the police to tend to a very distressed lady. I was asked to wait for their arrival as they were tracking the location of the phone call. Obviously, this made me late for my appointment (which wasn't a priority at the time!) I called them as soon as I was back in car, by the time they finally answered, I was 10 minutes late for my appointment. I explained the situation and said I could still go to my appointment or did I need to re-book (bearing in mind they're ALWAYS running late anyway!) only to be told that I could no longer book anymore appointments! I'm absolutely disgusted and will be taking this further.

Fantastic experience: I was treated by Declan & his colleague today who are trainees & my care & treatment was superb. Declan was a wealth of information & explained my treatment down to the last detail which in all my entire life I have never had before regarding my dental treatment. I have always had a terrible fear of dentists but now I feel confident regarding my future appointments. Fantastic experience: Second time of having treatment for dental implant with Brad Hawkins. Well informed of the procedure and all questions answered. Procedure went very well, feeling fairly comfortable post operative my. Advice given on pain control and dental hygiene until next visit. All staff involved behaved in a very professional and pleasant manner.
