Fantastic experience: I took some time to write this review because of lack of time but I think it is important to show great things to the community. Stoke Newington Dental Practice has a very fast and supportive booking process from the staff in the reception. Dentists are very patient with children, I have to tell in special the dentist Fatima and her assistant Georgina, they are the best, very professional, very patient with my daughter that panics anything that could be related to pain, however this team of dentists were super skilled to keep my child calm and stable while doing feelings in her teeth, they did a beautiful job that honestly I though it would be impossible with my daughter, but they nailed it with excellence in all aspects and we are more than happy with how beautifully they delivered their service. Thank you so much!!

Negative experience: I’m Reporting to NHS. I live within 5 mins of this clinic. have been trying to register since before I got pregnant 14 months ago. I ask every few months and they have NEVER taken NHS patients so this is a LIE at this point. I have now passed the point of being able to use maternity exemption. This has been so distressing for me . They should not be allowed to promote as NHS if they stopped taking any NHS patients for over 2 years. Receptionist confirmed over phone they haven’t registered new NHS patient in years.

Fantastic experience: I walked into my appointment with Dr. Said feeling extremely nervous, but from the moment I sat down, he made me feel completely at ease. He was kind, patient, and took the time to explain everything in a way that really helped calm my nerves. His gentle approach and professionalism truly stood out. By the end of the visit, I left not only relieved but genuinely happy with the care I received.

Fantastic experience: Sahra Awil is a fantastic dentist. My children were happy to be checked by her and the melon flavoured fluoride was a great hit with them. This practice is highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I can’t thank Dr. Mehrdad enough! After visiting so many dentists who couldn’t resolve my issue, I finally found someone who could and did with incredible care. I had a root canal done here, and the entire experience was so smooth and pain-free. Dr. Mehrdad was gentle, patient, and truly skilled. He made me feel at ease every step of the way. I’m so glad I found him, he’s an absolute gem. Thank you again!

Fantastic experience: The dentist I visited was helpful and knowledgeable. He informed me about the procedure he planned to perform today as well as my opinions. I felt calm and secure knowing that he would take care of my tooth. I'd strongly suggest this practice. Most importantly, the receptionist was welcoming and polite and the practice was very clean

Negative experience: Avoid at all costs I waited over 9 months for a simple extraction referred through the NHS, only to find out the initial diagnosis was completely wrong. No apology, no accountability. They even charged me twice without carrying out any treatment. The clinic felt more focused on money than care, and NHS patients are clearly treated with little respect. I was shocked when reception staff laughed and asked me to leave the premises just for requesting a second opinion. Utterly unprofessional. Thankfully, I went to another local dentist who resolved the issue quickly and was equally appalled at the treatment I’d received. I’ve chosen not to escalate things further, but it’s disturbing that people’s health can be handled so carelessly. If you value your teeth and dignity,go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I had my routine dental hygienist appointment yesterday. It was with Aniruddho, whom I met for the first time at this practice. His considerate and friendly manner put me at ease, as I am a nervous patient. He was really thorough, gentle and very professional, throughout my appointment. I felt listened to as a patient and my teeth look and feel amazing, thanks to his diligence and experience. This was seriously the best hygienist experience I have ever had in my life and as a 60 year old, I have a lot of experience being in a dentists chair. I would definitely recommend Aniruddho (Ani) and I w.ill be booking my husband's hygienist appointment with him, when he is due. Thank you.

Negative experience: I just would like to make everyone aware that if you leave a constructive or ever so slightly negative review you will be removed from the detail practice. Everyone make sure you lie and take the disrespect these people call customer service.

Negative experience: The young receptionist with the black hair you would think she gets payed to be rude, she comes across very hostile making me feel nervous to even book appointments I have been with the dental practice for over 4years and I only get this attitude from her, the other receptionist are really kind and know how to speak to patients

Negative experience: The surgery provided really good dental care for me in the past. But in recent times I have been extremely disappointed. My disappointment comes from the fact that a particular dentist who is there at the moment is very inclined to convince you to extract your teeth. Whereas other dentists will discuss options and their thinking, she generally sides to extracting - and the way she will convince you, you will be left with no choice. This is not just me but my entire family have experienced this. I have salvaged my mum from her, but she has already had one of her tooth extracted without me knowing and had another extraction booked. I feel bad I could not stop the first one. Another dentist at another surgery after a check up could not fathom the idea of extracting that tooth. Same had happened to me prior, I was able to see through and go elsewhere. It is just outrageous how easily she dishes out these extractions. You will never get back your biological teeth. Be careful attending this place. Reception staff are always very pleasant.

Negative experience: Avoid. They had a temporary dentist which botched my lateral incisor couple years ago and now I am still dealing with the consequences. It turned into a root canal which they also did in a hurry and careless manner. They ruined my mental health. I had to see a professional endodontist to get it fixed, cost me money and my health. Most reviews are fakes, after this review they will create accounts and give theirselves more 5 stars.

Negative experience: I have been an NHS patient here for 10 years. I have broken my tooth and have been told they have run out of NHS funding and can’t see me until April when they get their new funding. I’m in disbelief as it’s January.

Negative experience: Terrible service from the dentist if you come from the medical center! They will always give you an answer like this: "there is nothing I can do" disappointing.

Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I would. I've been registered to this dentist over 20 years as I live local. They have de-registered me from the dentist as I hadn't visited in several years but did not care to inform me of this or check up on me to ask if I still wanted to be registered. I only found out once I tried to book an appointment, in dire need of medical attention. They then said they are not accepting new patients. How can you remove someone without their permission then tell them they cannot join. I now do not have a dentist.

Negative experience: This dental practice is a joke, I booked an appointment on their website last week and using the NHS patient option to book it, but I never got a response, so I called the dentist landline number today Tuesday 25th 2024, and spoke to the receptionist she was very rude, and also told me that they don’t accept NHS patients, that I need to deposit £80 upfront before my appointment, so why then do they have the option on their website for NHS patients if they know they don’t accept NHS patients, this is just absurd and wrong, they need to fix their system and take down the options on their website, because it’s misleading. I’m not happy at all

Fantastic experience: I was referred by the 111 NHS dental emergency team. The receptionist Toma & her colleague were very polite & helpful. The Dentist I saw DR Arian & nurse Gerta were very welcoming. They whole team made me feel comfortable & were knowledgable. I just want to say thank to the whole team! I wish I was registered there!

Negative experience: Toma is one of receptionist in the surgery she is very very rude , She speaks very very aggressivly I never ever leave any review and comment for anyone, but belive me since registration time for 1 time in this practice she has been very rude and aggressive toward me with appt , on the phone , I making appt , for me is very important my son to be checked all the time regularly and I have no idea 3 time been not booked or you didn't make it , today I was sure regularly 3 month checked been booked but on the phone she siad aggressivly no you don't have appt. In surgery she siad why attacking me because her colleague said you do have appt just because you have 2 file . Definitely she has to be replace , never fit with this role , because been receptionist you have to have patient and welcoming face . This is owner reply : Dear Zeinab, We're sorry to hear about this experience but In our practice we don't tolerate patients being abusive towards our staff. They use word abuse ; but I want to know how and what abuse I did toward staff ? I ask over the phone she only said sorry , and they cancelled my son appt when he really needed ! Negative experience: I went as an emergency patient months ago. The dentist told me that I will now be registered so I can have regular check ups as we discussed a treatment I wanted him to perform. When calling to make a new appointment I was told that I was infact not registered, and that they are not taking any new registrants... and that there's nothing they can do about that. Terrible communication and service

Negative experience: I recently had an unfortunate experience at Stoke Newington Dental Practice. The doctor's communication regarding a referral was inconsistent, leading to a three-hour delay at the Royal London Dental Hospital. Attempts to address the issue with reception were unhelpful, and there was a discrepancy between what the doctor communicated and later claimed. This lack of transparency was disappointing and left me frustrated with the overall service.

Negative experience: Twice I came in with an infected gum situation and they didn’t even attempt to clean the affected area and just prescribed antibiotics. Freaking scammers just claiming those nhs 111 checks, no shame, STEER CLEAR FROM THIS PRACTICE!!!

Negative experience: Unfortunately this time around I came out worse than I went in, I went in with a sharp broken tooth ok its now partially filled but still sharp and still tasting like clove oil, only now I also have a sore in the roof of my mouth where I can only assume the dentist's slipped whilst drilling / grinding the tooth, I tried contacting them was told that I have to contact 111 for another appointment, I personally don't see that as satisfactory, if you don't fix the initial problem then you have a responsibility to do so a follow up in my opinion, 111 were also unhelpful as it is no longer classed as a emergency.

Negative experience: Absolutely awful experience as an emergency patient. My son has been in agony all night due to a root treatment which has left him in even more pain than he was in before. We are having to use 111 to find another dentist to do the treatment properly. I could not condemn this practice any more strongly.

For her very first time of visiting a dentist I’ve not had much anxiety whilst on the chair. I felt safe. You were very competent and paid attention to detail. I’ve had more than 3 root canal treatments and this is the very first time that I haven’t felt any pain during or after the root canal treatment.
