Fantastic experience: As a very nervous patient, I have spent a long time searching for a new dental practice, one that made me feel supported, had empathy and demonstrated professionalism and investment in both their environment and equipment. I have nothing but praise for New Street Dental Care and from the moment I walked through the door (admittedly shaking a little), I felt warmth, listened too and knew I could move forward with the treatment plan. I truly struggle with nerves, even before I enter the dentist's chair, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this practice to anyone who feels as I do... I will be driving a fair distance for my treatments, but think its worth it.

I learnt more about my teeth than I have ever done. Time and care was first class and I've booked a return consultation.

Fantastic experience: New street dental care is the description of perfect healthcare. I was seen on the same day for an emergency appointment by Alfie, who is such a calming and caring presence. Alfie went above and beyond for me to ensure I received the best care possible. He made sure I fully understood what was going on and asked if I was okay throughout the entire treatments I received. Even the aftercare that New street Dental provides is incredible. They ensure you leave happy and even follow up with you the next day. All the staff I encountered were always smiling and happy to help. The reception staff answered all of my questions and are incredibly professional. I can’t recommend new street dental enough! I am beyond grateful to Alfie and his team!

Fantastic experience: I’m not a great lover of the dentist. I’m ok to have a check up and clean but as soon as I know something has to be done I’m abit of an emotional wreck! Chloe and her dental nurse were so understanding and excepted a grown woman being emotional! Feel quite happy to have further treatment as I need it but can’t promise how I’d react but I know the whole environment and team will support me. I’ve come a long way from not going to a dentist for many years. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Very grateful for getting an emergency appointment yesterday and relieved it was offered so quickly. It did land up with a wisdom tooth extraction which I was really worried about but knew it had to happen there and then. Everything was very clearly explained, a few forms to sign and quick xray and extraction done really quickly and painless which I was so grateful about. I even had a call first thing this morning to check how I was doing. Now on to recovery. Thank you for making what was rather sudden and traumatic as stress free as possible.

Fantastic experience: I recently joined New street from recommendation from AI of all things after my NHS dentist removed me as a patient. Im so very very glad! I'd recently seen my previous dentist and been given the all clear for another year but a chipped tooth took me back earlier and to this practice for the first time. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. I had an extensive check up and James took the time to go through the xrays with me and the photos etc and explain what his findings were and what my options were. Turns out my previous dentist missed a few things that could've led to me losing my front teeth, which is absolutely terrifying. I've agreed a treatment plan with New Street now though and I feel so relieved I ever went in the first place! I've never had such thorough care before

Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment with new street last week and it was a really good dental practice. I have ehlers danlos syndrome and Sjögren’s syndrome which affect my teeth and I wanted somewhere I could feel comfortable and safe after a tricky time with my previous dental practice. New street is amazing, every single person who worked there was really kind and friendly. The practice is really nice, it felt comfortable and relaxed. They did a 3d scan of my teeth, X-rays and walked me through all my options as well as emailed them to me. I didn’t feel any pressure to agree to any of the treatments they recommended and I felt safe, which is a big must for someone who is a bit nervous at the dentist! I definitely recommend them and I’ll be taking my children there from now on too.

Booked me in the following morning for tooth extraction. Speedy and efficient service. If you’re looking for a dentist, look no more. Excellent.

Fantastic experience: I had to have a tooth removed last Friday and I was extremely impressed with the expertise of Irem: she managed to get my tooth out swiftly even though I'm a very nervous patient. I had to have extra injections as there was an infection, and just as I was about to back out, as I could not cope with the pressure, she was saying it was out! Really relieved and very happy! Fantastic experience: A very personal dental service, from an exceptionally patient and expert team. Always putting me at ease during the treatments I have had with James at this practice... Treatments have included, large fillings, and crowns. Obviously not nice procedure, due to its nature. But I'm very happy with James' skill, professionalism and care.

Fantastic experience: Having had a lengthy & poor experience at another local dentist over a long period of time, I went to New Street, after reading their reviews, with my complex dentistry problems. This has turned out to be the best decision I have ever made. They have been outstanding in their care & treatment of me. Starting a year ago with a pre-consult with Hollie, a care coordinator who actually listened to me and gave me hope. The excellent reception staff who are professional, welcoming & friendly. The lovely Paige (hygienist) who sorted out my gum issues and got me back on track. The amazing Irem who performed the surgery required for synthetic bone to be grown to enable me to finish this journey. And finally the fabulous Jackie (dentist) & her team who have given me back my confidence after a lifetime of problems. Through Jackie and her skilled technician, I have finally been able to have a bridge fitted. The attention to detail was more than I could have ever hoped for and the bridge is perfect. Jackie talked me through ever step during the past year, ensuring I always clearly understood my options. She is incredible at her job and I will always be grateful for this. Sorry this is long, but I cannot recommend these guys more highly. My journey was necessary due to a childhood accident and no other reason.

The equipment is the latest, the Covid protection and precautions are first class. Julian is amazing at taking time and care to explain, reassure, give you options and put you at ease so you know you are completely safe. Positive experience: My very first visit included mouth cancer checkups. However, when I asked the doctor about a specific lump in my mouth, he said he wasn’t qualified enough to tell me whether it was something concerning or not. He advised me to visit a gp but not actually referring me there. My second visit was with a hygienist. She left a plaque on the front tooth untouched (right in the middle of the mouth and the tooth), saying she couldn’t remove everything in one visit and I would need to come back in 3 months when “my bacteria start to grow again”. How does this correlate?! She also tried to have a small talk in the beginning, asking me what I’d be doing for the rest of the day. When I replied she simply ignored me, showing me how fake this conversation was. Pretty disappointing for the prices this clinic charges.

Irem was also amazing with my implant - always kept me informed of plans and what’s happening, little to no pain and a perfect smile as a result. Fantastic experience: I have been for first appointment at New Street this week. What an absolute pleasure. After a slightly abrasive experience at reception, when going to register a few weeks ago, where I was made to feel like I was being questioned on whether I could afford private dental care, the team on my first appointment really turned that around. The atmosphere is relaxing and calming and the time for a pre consultation with a care coordinator really helps you to feel taken care of and listened to. My time with the dentist was very gentle and thorough, from the checkup, to photos and x rays and the explanation of everything afterwards, I felt in very safe hands. I was given very clear options of next steps and feel like I can make informed choices. The service at reception as I left was also extremely polite and efficient, with follow up appointment and future care options received immediately.

Fantastic experience: I was very anxious tired and really stressed but Dr Jackie put my mind at rest. I think all the sleepless nights and pain were mostly in my head. The dentist did the x rays and took a small amount off my crown. It was all done very professionally and I am now a happy chappie.

Today I saw Phillip who removed 4 troublesome teeth, he worked efficiently and my teeth were out within 30 minutes. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend this practice enough! I have been very poorly after a tooth extraction called Dry Socket. The pain was just the worst! Everything about New Street Dental Care is 'just right'. There is a relaxed atmosphere, and everyone, reception staff and dentists, is friendly, caring and competent. Of course you are paying for that, but they really want to do their best for you and they all provide an excellent service.

Fantastic experience: The team at New Street are brilliant, really friendly and welcoming from the moment you walk in the door right up to when you leave. My appointment was with James who put me at ease straight away (like most people, not a fan of going to the dentist), he also explained the path required for me in a straight forward & understandable manner supplemented with lots of information and different options. Actually looking forward to going to the dentist from now on.

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment this morning to talk about new dentures because I was afraid that if my current ones cracked or broke because they were getting old. Jackie was lovely and assured me that I would be best to keep them and if they did break they could be mended which I found very reassuring. I will certainly go to them again whenever I need advice or treatment.

Fantastic experience: I had severe toothache and c as led on a Monday morning. I was given an emergency appointment that afternoon and the broken tooth was extracted in the same appointment. I can’t say it was a pleasant experience but it was definitely made as easy as possible. I was very impressed with the speed of service and the treatment of my problem was expert and caring. They saw me within a few hours of me calling with a very uncomfortable filling issue which was resolved quickly and with care. I felt looked after from the start. Every single person was professional, cheerful and helpful. I have not had such a good dentist experience in my life and in my 50's now, I have had several dentists. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Very professional service. I visited the practice for a full dental assessment as I needed a second opinion. The dentist who carried out the assessment (Samir) was very thorough, patient and professional. He gave me the opportunity to discuss his recommendations. At no time did I feel pressured to sign up to treatment with the practice. I would recommend the practice.

Was made to feel comfortable and the experience was as painless as it could have been, the dentist had the tooth out in good time whilst being as gentle as possible. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: The most gentle of hygienists in Lauren Pink (find her on Instagram for regular tips to inspire best practice) and caring advice from Jackie after a thorough check-up. Always feel in good hands and do not dread going to the dentist's! Reception team and dental nurses are helpful and friendly. There is even parking on site. Fantastic experience: My wife and kids had a really good experience here - Julian explains everything and reassures. He's also brilliant with the kids! I found that my hygienist appointment (and the dentist too!) was so comfortable and relaxing that I almost dozed off. They take real care to make sure you are comfortable. Best dental practice I've ever been to! :-)

Fantastic experience: I visited New Street Dental Practice today for a Hygiene appointment. This was my first treatment at the surgery and i was blown away with the care i received. From the second i walked through the door i was greeted by the most wonderful reception team, they were so helpful and caring, ensuring i had everything i needed while i waited to be called through. I saw Jade who is a therapist and her lovely nurse Kensey for my treatment. I was quite anxious about going due to not having been seen since before covid. The second i walked into the room they both made me feel incredibly welcome and soon calmed my nerves. Jade talked through step by step everything she was going to do during my treatment. Both Jade and Kensey made me feel relaxed and calm for the whole hour treatment. They did a fantastic job! i am so happy, i can now smile again without feeling like i have to cover my teeth with my hand. Thank you Jade, Kensey and the amazing reception team for making my visit so very worth while.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended. I rang the practice as I had a wisdom tooth that the nhs dentist couldn’t take out. I explained my situation to them and Holly understood my needs straight away. She managed to get me booked in for an X-ray the same day to see if they could take it out. Once I got into the practice and had the x-ray I saw Dr Wray who is an amazing dentist and he took it out for me then and there. The practice went above and beyond for me and I can’t recommend them enough. Everyone is lovely there and Holly and Dr Wray were amazing! Thank you New Street Dental practice!

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and helpful staff. My dentist was excellent,very caring and put me at ease throughout my whole appointment explaining what she was doing every step of the way and easing my fears. Very happily recommended this practice to anyone and especially if you have any fears of going to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: All staff members were extremely friendly. The receptionist was very efficient and helpful with my emergency booking. Dr Wray was a very good dentist who knew exactly what to do. He explained every step very clearly and informed me what he was about to do and why through out the whole process. His explanation did not contain technical words and so I was able to follow his explanations (despite my nervousness!). He was also very understanding of my nervousness and he was very supportive when I expressed it. I did not feel any pain when he gave me two injections. He repaired and re-cemented a broken crown. This is day 3 and my tooth feels like it has never gone under such a major operation. Thank you very much to you all.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend highly enough. Initially started with aligner treatment with James, who has given me a smile I'm very happy with, but I've since had other treatments. The high standard of treatments and level of care means I won't go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: An air of calm and professionalism resides in a potentially very scary place -(speaking for myself)! I am put immediately at my ease and consequently feel that it’s safe to go back - so far!!! I have been back several times now and I am given really good instructions/tips on how to manage my teeth and the teeth themselves feel/look better than I could have imagined whenever they have been given the appropriate attention .

Positive experience: Great dentist but I'm knocking a star off for the rather abrupt/unwelcoming reception by (ironically) one of the receptionists. I arrived, rang the bell and no one came, so I just assumed that they were adopting the practice that so many businesses have since covid ~ making you wait until your exact appointment time. The lady in question came to the door, without so much as a good morning, asking me why I was there (I had an appointment in 2 minutes), why I hadn't called (I didn't know that this was required before attending a booked appointment), why I wasn't waiting in my car (I had walked) and why hadn't I rung the bell (I had)! I didn't mind waiting at all, so didn't really understand the slightly confrontational approach. Not exactly the best welcome on attending my first appointment there but the other receptionist was perfectly pleasant and the dentist was thorough and very professional.

Fantastic experience: Fabulous experience today with Jade the Dental Hygienist. Kind, knowledgable and the service offered was excellent. Will recommend highly to everyone I know and will definitely come back again. I would also like to thank Mariola whom assisted Jade today and compliment her on her fantastic bedside manner and the care afforded to me.
