Fantastic experience: I have had a night mare for three years with teeth broken in an accident with my granddaughter head she jumped up as I bent down the impact caused the teeth to die. The NHS is absolutely rubbish load of jobs worth couldn’t get an NHS dentist any where just that they only treat the dental emergency pain, Esther Rantzen was about she would be giving out jobs worth hats all over the place . Well the last of the five front teeth finally snapped off at the gum, so I released some equity and contacted CHD Unthank road. What a service from reception to the treatment room had a very painful tooth extracted couple of weeks ago and healed up lovely, it has been mind blowing I’m halfway through the treatment had five broken roots out couple of fillings and artificial bone placed in where he scraped out the infection then stitched me up after , oh and a he cleaned the bottom teeth too, to say I was petrified was an understatement. Dr Francois Smit and his dental assistant worked tirelessly today I didn’t feel a thing can’t believe it I have had treatment in loads of dentist as I’m 68 so when Francois told me the list of the procedure I was very scared , I am so pleased with the care and the work rate amazing I can’t praise him and the dental assistant enough Very highly recommended thank you so much for your diligence Colin

Negative experience: I went in to see the dentist. Walked into the room and the dentist asked me to place my bag on the chair. Before I could even sit down the dentist Andre said he was going to charge me £150 because I’m not a patient there. I am a patient there because I always see the other dentist Hamman but on this day my regular dentist did not have any appointments hence the receptionist booked me in with someone else. He went on to say I’m not a patient at the practice ( bearing in mind he hasn’t even introduced himself or anything the first thing he talks about is money before even finding anything out from the patient ) . He started speaking to me on a very deeming, degratory manner at which point I said I will take my bag and leave. He then went on to say well you’re here now and I will charge you £75. It’s not so much about the money as I own a business myself but about the poor service and the way he handled everything and spoke to me. I have now moved to Newmarket Rd dental practice due to this dentist called Andre . The service I have received at my new dental practice is excellent and nowhere near what I experienced with Andre. I will not be going back to Corner House and I will make my other colleagues that use this practice aware.

Fantastic experience: Really good service from start to finish. The staff were very helpful and the appointment was on time. Layla was very professional and explained what was happening before starting each step. The final result exceeded expectations and I was left with less discomfort than any other procedure of this nature. My next appointment was booked to suit me and combines the hygienist and check up. The staff also booked me onto the monthly payment plan, taking that extra step that puts them above most others

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend. The receptionists are really helpful and friendly. The dentists are very good at what they do and sympathetic to nervous patients. The whole set up is very professional. I wouldn't go anywhere else now.

Fantastic experience: Excellent, as ever. Layla and her assistant did very skilled prep for a crown on an awkward wisdom tooth and since the carefully crafted crown was fitted it has improved the bite on both sides. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Fast, friendly and painless! Update in November 2022: still the same great service. Had an unexpected problem with a cracked tooth, but Sean fixed it at short notice (thanks to a cancellation). Would definitely recommend. May 2025: pleasant experience as always. No problems found which is always good to hear. Reassuring to know there is a good service available if ever you need it.

Fantastic experience: I have 3 young children who are all scared of going to the dentist, Layla was incredible with them, she let them take their time to get used to the room and explained everything she was doing to make sure they felt happy and comfortable. We have had a few bad experiences with my daughter and the ladies on reception were very understanding and helped to make the children feel relaxed whilst waiting. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Appointment was on time. All staff very friendly. I needed an injection which I didn't feel at all. I have been with this dentist for many years and trust them whole heartedly.

Fantastic experience: My dentist and his assistant were superb, always calm, friendly and highly skilled. All the receptionists were also always friendly and helpful in person and on the phone. The whole atmosphere of the place and waiting area is very pleasant. I can only recommend the CHD service. The only downside for me at times was the limited parking.

Fantastic experience: I recently had my first appointment at Corner House, having heard good things from others and having had patchy dental care since Covid. Now, I'm sure I'm not alone in being a bit anxious about dental treatment, but Corner House do a wonderful job of keeping that anxiety under control. I was made to feel super welcome by everyone on the front desk and in the treatment room. The examination was thorough and thoroughly professional. Most importantly, I was given really clear guidance on what I needed to do - and what Corner House can do in support - to ensure my dental health continues and improves. First class service all round.

Fantastic experience: I was 66 years of age, my teeth were falling apart and greying as a result of previous root canals over the years. I wanted to improve the functionality of my teeth so that I could chew and eat various foods and also improve my smile which was impacted through fillings and crowns to the rear and grey root canal teeth to the front. The NHS obviously wasn’t going to do this for me so I decided to look for a private dental practice in Norwich. After reading many reviews I decided on Corner House Dental Practise in Unthank Road, and after enquiring I had to wait three months for an appointment (however who gets a good plumber the following day). I was allocated to German Dorgan. To cut a long story short I was very pleased that I did. Some 6 months later after 3 extractions and 6 porcelain crowns and minimal pain along the way I have my smile back again and I feel I can eat just about anything without worrying about teeth cracking or collapsing. German listened carefully to my various issues and suggested a detailed plan of action to meet my concerns. The process was collaborative, at the end of the day he would do what I wanted however he was experienced and knowledgeable enough to provide me with all the possible options and his recommendations happily aligned with my own. I am so delighted with the final results. Big thanks to German, for his care and meticulous attention to detail, but also to Ella his dental nurse and the ladies on reception who made the whole experience nearly enjoyable, many of whom knew me by name on my numerous visits. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them especially to nervous patients as I was never one to enjoy a trip to the dentist!

Fantastic experience: After being disappointed on multiple occasions with my previous dentists, I went to the Corner House hoping for a brighter and straighter smile. The ladies at reception were always friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. I was seen by German and Ella, I've asked for the least invasive procedure, we put together a plan and a few months later I couldn't be any happier with my smile.

Positive experience: I’ve very good experiences with CDH. My first was during Covid when someone saw me during lockdown. I’ve returned as needed and have had fantastic care. My only gripe was on a recent visit when I thought I had lost a recent filling as was having some pain and food lodging in the same location. They said there wouldn’t be a charge on the phone for them having a look since they did the work. The filling had not come out and they did another X-Ray. During the visit there was no mention of an x-Ray cost and as I left the reception team said there was a cost of £90 for this. A bit surprised but paid anyway. Might be good to inform the patient of any costs when in a situation as this. Otherwise, as I said, fantastic care and will return. I

Fantastic experience: I have been visiting CHD for a few years and i am always very pleased with the professional service. Natalie who is the hygienist has made a huge difference with her expertise and getting the effective cleaning regime easily explained and understood. Fantastic experience: My family and I have been looked after by the Cornerhouse Dentist team since 2007. Since 2021 my son had his first ever dentist appointment with the amazing German! Throughout the consultation German was exceptionally engaging and reassuring with my then 4/5 year old boy. He made the experience most educational and fun. At the end of the consultation he even made a cute bird out of a surgical rubber gloves! Both my children look forward to their checkups with German and they are puzzled when hearing other children feeling scared of seeing their dentist. Since October 2024, I needed to make a mouth guard. For various reasons it became a challenging task with a specialist I visited. German took the initiative of making a mouth guard which does not just fit perfectly but also is made of great material and quality. He took the time and effort to adjust it to my unique dental problems and I am now able to rest better as well as feeling confident that my dental health is in good hands to avoid lots of future pain and challenges. German and his assistant Ella are very competent, patient, kind and empathetic. I also find the reception team to be very professional and helpful. I can't recommend Cornerhouse dentists highly enough.

Fantastic experience: CHD has been my dental practice for more than 10 years now - I have complete faith in them, and their excellent dentists, staff, and also their treatment and monitoring systems. All of this results in a top service. Plus their superb Dental Hygienist Natalie does a great job both cleaning and keeping on top of my dental health and records more generally. Fully recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had a 90 minute appointment with Sean Danino and it was genuinely completely pain free. I found myself tapping my feet to the music at one point. The dentist was warm, kind and reasurring, explaining every step beforehand. The nurse didn't 'catch my lip' even once. The reception staff were very friendly. An absolutely fantastic experience. However, Sean was, and remains professional, empathetic and reassuring in his care. Corner House Dental practice have well trained and professional receptionists too. Negative experience: Mr Sean Danino is a very unprofessional dentist , how he treats nervous patients and especially children , this is my experience regarding my daughter . He does not care about your needs only his ,he did not reassure my daughter once , just wanted her to get out of his surgery . we came out there no information ,my daughter was very embarrassed and in tears how he treated her . I am a paying customer and the customer care is absolutely shocking ,especially with children ,. the impacts of bad dentistry has a massive impacts on children , this it why i am making a formal complaint with the governing bodies . I am disgusted and disgraced how we can be treated in that manner .

Fantastic experience: Super professional and high quality service by a highly skilled dentist. I was anxious before doing extraction of my wisdom tooth, as the previous extraction (done in different clinic) ended up in a wound infection. Dr Danino was extremely professional, respectful and kind and finished the whole procedure in 10 minutes. I have followed the instructions regarding the period post-extraction and on day 2 after extraction, I forgot that I had my tooth taken out. If visit to a dentist could be described as an amazing experience then this one definitely qualifies for it. I would highly recommend this practice!

Fantastic experience: Excellent attention from German Dorgan. On time, reasonable price by todays standards and kept him away from Argentinian football, so got out quite quickly!

Fantastic experience: I hate giving up my teeth, but in this case there was no option. The extraction was not easy as the crown broke off and the gum had to be cut. I have to say that throughout the extraction, I did not feel any pain and though the gum was stitched I had a painless night's sleep with no bleeding or taking of pain killers. Absolutely marvellous.

Fantastic experience: I have had a ragged back molar which had lost most of its filling attached to a bridge which has so annoyed me and made chewing difficult. Across over an hour, Andre and his assistant did miracles. If, like me, you've been forced out of a life-long NHS relationship with dentistry and have no choice, I recommend Corner House Dental. They are 1st Class in every respect.

Fantastic experience: I love this dentistry! It was my second time here, for a cleaning today. Charlotte and Nathalie did an amazing job! I have a terrible dentist phobia but I trust the team here so much now and today went really well, I even felt relaxed at times thanks to them. I came here six months ago and my mouth was in terrible condition. Andre completely turned my life around by giving me a very good treatment. I’m mostly scared of feeling pain but his injections were the best I’ve ever had and I felt no pain in both treatments. I would recommend this dentistry to anybody who is scared and looking for amazing treatment. Dentists are always scary but I feel in very good hands here! Also a big thank you to the lovely reception staff who are always friendly and create a nice atmosphere in the waiting room.

Having had average at best treatment from several different NHS dentists in Norwich I am so pleased that a friend recommend Corner House. I have had treatment from Sean and Alison who are both not only excellent practitioners but also very caring and good and making sure you understand and are happy with treatment options. If you are at all "dentist phobic" you will feel at ease and cared for here. Should also mention that front office staff are also very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic first experience with Corner House Dental. I went for a check-up, clean and polish with Dr Andre Potgieter. Excellent patient manner and good listener, patient, and it felt like he truly cared. For the first time I’ve ever gone to the dentist, I had a dentist who explained everything he was doing! Spent time giving me tips to optimise my oral hygiene which I really appreciated, and offered other treatments to perfect my teeth. The reception staff and the dental assistant were also so lovely. I felt very well looked after. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have recently undergone the 'Six Month Smiles' course of treatment and it has been the best. I am so so happy with the results after such wonderful, committed and loyal care. I still can't quite believe the results achieved in such a short space of time. I couldn't recommend Andre and the team more.

I am a little anxious about the dentist - having had awful experiences in the past - (not at this practice!) and I needed a tooth reconstructing as it had broken. Dr Jako Robertse was calm, kind and professional. He explained everything to me and he really listened when he checked in with me throughout the process. His Dental Nurse was kind and attentive, making sure I knew what was going on at all times. I am very pleased with how my treatment went and with the results. Fantastic experience: I came to have my amalgam fillings replaced with composite and to fill new fillings. I felt nothing. My bite feels normal. It looks clean and tidy. All in all I am Always looked after at this dentist and cannot recommend it enough. The plan makes it easier to manage and reminders help with appointments due to a busy schedule. Thank you

Positive experience: This was my first visit to get an old implant tightened. I wanted other work done but having been to 3 other implantologist I wondered if I would ever get it done. I paid for the appointment in advance, £95 and after talking to my implantologist he was keen to tightened the tooth. I paid another fee at the end of my visit. The surgery is not cheap but staff were friendly and as this was my first visit I think it takes longer to form an opinion and more importantly a relationship, however parking is a problem.

Fantastic experience: Good experience with German and Ella. I am returning next week to complete my treatment. The only negative experience is don’t have the Daily Mail as a waiting room newspaper.

Fantastic experience: What an impressive practice! My 6 year old implant was slightly loose and I now live 200 miles away. Local dentists claimed they were unable to help so I made an appointment with Sean. It turned out that the crown needed some work by the local lab which would normally be done with a completely new appointment BUT Sean persuaded the lab to do the job overnight and saw me the following day and refitted it despite his heavy schedule. Not only did he save me the pain of another 400 mile drive, but neither he nor the lab made any extra charge for their efforts. Well done Sean and the rest of the team

German has been amazing and extremely understanding when it came to my major fear of dentists, he made me feel at calmer straight away, understood the reasons for my fear, and throughout the appointments I have had, he explained what was going to happen and why. From the minute I walked into the reception to the minute I left I felt cared for. The lovely ladies on reception are very welcoming and German & Ella were both very caring and made me feel very much at ease. Thank you so much

Fantastic experience: Sean is amazing. He recently gave me my confidence back! And has offered a plan for the future so I know feel assured my teeth won’t affect my confidence again. Debbie the hygienist I see is is also amazing, I’ve been so nervous about the dentist but since seeing her more frequently I’ve got used to it and I am no longer nervous, in fact I actually quite enjoy it. Really lovely dentist and everyone is friendly and helpful!

Fantastic experience: Panic appointment same day after losing a big filling. £150 down payment taken over phone, but no worries about being robbed. Andre, a partner I believe, was a gentleman, polite, extremely professional, and all my worries were gone in around 25 minutes, as he restored/replaced my ancient filling. Parking nearby is not easy, but feasible, and I would highly recommend Corner House. Five stars. VH.

Fantastic experience: Like many, i was not able to get back onto the NHS service so needed to use a private practice. Corner House was strongly recommended, so i booked a consultation. Parking is on the road and within residential parking area however I have also been able to find a spot close to the practise and they provide me with a parking permit for the duration of my appointment. Im always well greeted, the waiting area is a nice place to be, not that I am there long. My dentist and assistant are lovely to be with, the service and advice they have provided me is excellent. As to the cost, this is more affordable than i thought, especially is you use one of the monthly payment schemes.

Fantastic experience: Have been doing Invisalign with dentist Dr. German Dorgan over the last 6 months. I cannot recommend German more. He has seen me every month and the level of care and attention to detail has been way beyond what I expected. My partner has been seeing an orthodontist at a different practice and his level of care in comparison has been completely lacking. If you’re looking for a dentist with compassion and empathy then German is your man!

Fantastic experience: The whole team at CHDP have contributed to making my experience in 2023 a really great one - from the warm and friendly reception staff to my fantastic dental hygienist Debbie and amazing dentist German. Debbie has worked hard with me to improve my gum health and German spent hours with me to improve my smile by getting rid of a very old crown on one of my front teeth and replacing it and the other front tooth which had travelled, leaving me with an unsightly gap. I couldn’t be happier with the results on both counts and feel much more confident. A HUGE thank you to you all. I can’t recommend highly enough for the care I have received.

Fantastic experience: I'm a nervous patient and the staff are so lovely and friendly from the moment you step in the door. Takes me about 12 minutes to walk from Chaplefield Mall. I really like how everything is fully explained and no pressure to book further recommend treatments. Thoroughly recommend.

My dentist Shaun is superb, trust him 100%, never feel nervous makes you feel completely at ease. His assistant is lovely too. Hygienist is fantastic too. For me the best Dentist’s in Norwich.
