Fantastic experience: I was recently looked after by Bosula and Becca at Eccleshill Dental, and the service I received was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, it was the attention to detail that really stood out - being personally escorted between rooms, the calming and professional atmosphere of the clinic, and the warm, efficient reception staff all contributed to an outstanding experience. Bosula was incredibly thorough and reassuring throughout my visit. She clearly explained every step of the process while examining and treating my teeth, which really made me feel like I was in safe, expert hands. She also took the time to talk me through my treatment plan in detail, even sending a post-checkup video showing the condition of my teeth, the cavities found, and the proposed next steps. This allowed me to review everything in my own time and communicate directly with her about any questions or concerns - a level of care and transparency that’s rare to find. Becca was equally impressive. She was calm, attentive, and professional throughout, working seamlessly alongside Bosula with precision and patience. Yes, private dental work can be expensive, but the quality of care and service at Eccleshill Dental makes it a true investment in your health. There was no pain, no confusion, and everything was handled with absolute professionalism. Honestly, Bosula and Becca deserve recognition for their outstanding work, give these ladies a bonus!
Negative experience: Better than most dentists but completely unreliable. I went private with them and over the last year half of my appointments were cancelled / rebooked for one reason or another. Edit : took another star off as it happened again. When my appointment is cancelled or delayed - you should ring me and sort it out as I was not the one who created the problem.

For clarity, these appointments required rescheduling due to the requirement to some of team members to self-isolate following contact from NHS track and trace. Naturally and in the interest of safety, our team adhere to these rules and thus we needed to re-arrange your appointment as a result. We appreciate this can be frustrating, but is regrettably beyond our control.
On reviewing your file, we also noted that you missed three appointments this year due to non-attendance. Our reception team facilitated you and made new appointments, and waived the missed appointment charges.

Fantastic experience: From the first time I walked into the practice I was made welcome by Layla on reception who is a credit to the team and amazingly kind I was then reveiewed by Muz and all I can say what a fantastic and kind dentist very understanding and honest Then came to today with the removal of my teeth ready for my dentures. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this luxury dental clinic. Spacious and clean. The only dental clinic with a posh vibes. Their services and care were exceptional. Their dentist was so lovely and knowledgeable who clearly explained in details how and what treatment they are going to do based on clients desire. The clinic is fully equipped with latest dental innovative equipment. However some staff has messed up with their communication and threatening approach was inappropriate. Fantastic experience: When my daughter's retainer broke, her NHS orthodontist couldn't see her for two weeks. We contacted Eccleshill Dental and Dr. Muz saw us that same day! The difference in experience was remarkable - they used a digital scanner instead of traditional impressions, which made the process so much more comfortable for her. The retainer was ready for collection just a couple of days later, and both the quality and fit were far superior to her previous one. Highly recommend Eccleshill Dental for their prompt service, modern technology, and excellent quality of care.
Negative experience: Wow just been with my children for their 6 months check up. NHS obviously as they are all under 16. Dentists we saw were lovely and worked fab even with 2 year old. Can't fault them. However when we went to re book for the next check up 6 months down the line. No appointments were available for us. Only appointments before 4pm, explained they all attend school and we wouldn't make it until after 4. Receptionist insisted we could go in a morning. Explained schools don't allow students out as authorized leave for the dentist. That wasn't her problem. And told my daughter to "leave then" Eccleshill dental definitely don't want any NHS customers any more, including children. Just shows my last review was correct. Saving appointment times specifically for private customers, denying appointments for children. previous review. Shame they don't have a bit more compassion for long standing costumers. 22 years as a paying NHS patient and just been kicked off of register for been 10 mins late TWICE in 22 years!!!! Will however accept me as a private patient. Very money orientated now, the care & compassion has gone. Such a shame, as used to be a lovely little dentist. Firstly, we appreciate your support to our practice for so many years. Like any organisation, we do have systems and rules that need to be adhered to.
On the day in question, you attended late for your appointment and in fact missed the entire length of your appointment. You then became confrontational with our reception team.
Whilst we won't go back 22 years, in the last 2 years, you have late cancelled two other appointments with less than 3 hours notice. Failure to attend appointments or cancelling at short notice is wasteful of clinical time. These appointments could have been allocated to other patients.
Our practice policy is that if a patient repeatedly misses or cancels appointments with insufficient notice, then they will lose their NHS registration. We can still offer private appointments but please note that missed or late notice cancellations will carry a fine.
Please also note that whilst we understand that you may be unhappy with our position, we have a strict zero-tolerance policy to protect our staff from any inappropriate behavior, ensuring a respectful environment for both patients and employees. Our decision-making is never based on financial reasons but rather on maintaining a fair and well-functioning service for all.

Fantastic experience: Started coming to Eccleshill back in 2023, I was terrified of being back at the Dentist, however Kiran and the entire team are nothing short of wonderful and comforting whilst you’re in the building. Fantastic experience: I have nothing but positive feedback for the staff and the treatment that I received at Eccleshill Dental. I approached the clinic after searching on Google - being somebody who needed urgent dental care but also being extremely anxious, scared and ashamed. I was seen by Numair, who, without any kind of judgement, got me through that first appointment for which I will always be grateful. He explained the treatment options that I could have, to which we agreed a full set of dentures. He fully explained the process, timescale and cost - and continued to do so over the treatment period. At each appointment I had with him, I just became more at ease - testament to his calming professional manner. After I had the teeth extractions, the lovely girls on reception phoned me to check I was ok. All the staff are kind and polite, which came across as genuine and not just 'doing their job'. Fantastic experience: I got an emergency appointment here 20th of January. It was my 2nd visit having been about 8 months previously. I cannot recommend highly enough. I filled out an online form at around 6am & was called back at 8am when they opened. I got an appointment at 09.29 & was back at work within an hour. Staff are really friendly & helpful, I even got a follow-up call 2 days after to check if everything was ok after my treatment.

Fantastic experience: Had a lot of work done over the last 3/4 years, thought my teeth were in a state of disrepair and was pretty embarrassed at the thought of going to the dentist. Negative experience: Ruined my tooth failed to notice issue with my tooth on time until it was too late and lost my tooth. Did get some refund for it though after a fight with them so it wasn't plesant experience. Only when i switched from male dentist to female she noticed where is the problem as the male dentist kept saying there is nothing wrong with my tooth even though i kept saying i have pain here he kept saying that nothing is wrong with it just need more time to settle bla bla bla.. Some dentists there are good some not same with hygienist some clean really good some fights with me and saying that i imagine things when i say that they are not cleaned good enough and left with sharp bits still on my teeth and not smoothed out. Charges you for being late huge amount of money worst than any other penalty i have ever got 180£ if i remember right. Even though i told them that day there was heavy road works going on and it was school run too and there was no way for me to be there on time. And i was a member of this place for many years and didn't let me off just grabbed the money.

Fantastic experience: ☺️ Dr BUSOLA OWORU has gifted Hands!!!! ☺️ (18/12/24 & 20/12/2024) It's been more than 10 years, since I have been avoiding Dentist visit due to a traumatic experience involving root canal. But, lately, my wisdom teeth have been troublesome & agonizing. One of my wisdom tooth had grown crooked - it slit my right cheek, causing me to bleed and affected my communication skills - pronunciation; due to tight jaw, and tooth crowding. Also, as a patient undergoing medical diagnosis for complex neurological issues, I have been experiencing severe & overwhelming tinnitus since past 4 months. I was informed, one of the causes of the onsent of tinnitus could be bruxism, TMJ, impacted wisdom tooth & other dental problems. With these nuanced yet connected health concerns, this was when I decided to visit private dental clinic. NHS dentists have kept me on the waiting list for decades. Majority of the NHS dental clinics I have contacted, have been unethical, discourteous, and some have been indirectly racist towards me! But, ECCLESHILL DENTAL CLINIC WAS DIFFERENT. From my first point of contact ( Ms Della, Taylor & Layla), to appointment date, attending the dental practice, speaking to the assisting dental assisstant (Miss Becca) & the doctor herself ( Dr Busola Oworu), the humble dental treatment plan, the treatement fees- I was profoundly satisfied with their level of service. They upheld their duty of care towards their patients. Their professionalism was exemplary. Fantastic experience: I registered my Dad, Gordon, as a new patient at Eccleshill Dental. My Dad is 93 and hadn’t seen a dentist prior to Covid as he couldn’t access the premises of his old dentist due to his poor mobility. Eccleshill Dental is completely geared up for taking patients in wheelchairs. His dentist is Kiran and he has been brilliant. My Dad has had 3 fillings, two front teeth removed and a new set of dentures made. Although my Dad was reticent at the start of his treatment he is over the moon with his new set of dentures and they match his existing teeth perfectly. Fantastic experience: My appointment with Miss Zainab to have the Airflow treatment was a very pleasant experience. I asked if particular attention could be made to the areas that concerned me most and she assured that the procedure would give me the results that i was seeking. Fantastic experience: Yesterday I had my root canal treatment done by Muzaffar Mir.. he made me feel so at ease due to me having bad anxiety. Muzaffar kept asking me if I was ok whilst doing the procedure and also before the procedure started he talked me through what he was going to do and what to expect during the procedure! I woke up this morning pretty much pain free and you’d of never thought I even had a root canal done! This makes me feel more relaxed for when I go back on the 17th October for my permanent crown to be done! Also the lovely ladies on reception always welcome you with a smile and very well mannered! Fantastic experience: It took me 3 years to finally decide to get braces again. I had them as a teenager and didn’t wear my retainer…they got really crooked and overlapped. I was so nervous about having metal train tracks again but I was amazed that some people genuinely didn’t notice and others complimented me for doing it at age 40! I had them on for 10 months in the end and I couldn’t be more excited to genuinely smile in my next photo instead of the tight closed mouth I hid behind. Fantastic experience: It's refreshing to meet professionals who still value integrity over money. I chipped a crown and had been in some pain. If my dentist had told me it needed emergency attention, I would have had no option but to have an expensive crown replacement. Instead, he advised me the pain was likely due to gum inflammation, not a failed root canal as initially feared, so if I kept it clean and had it seen to within the next few months, it probably would be okay. I am very impressed! The facility is clean and in good repair, the staff is professional and the dentists knowledgeable and again, so honest.

Fantastic experience: Oh boy, I've been meaning to write this review for a while now. Finally got the chance! I would definitely, 100%, recommend this dental practice! The level of care, treatment, understanding, respect and patience I received, for my invisalign treatment, from both Karan Rishi and Hannah Bamforth, was second to none. I incurred alot of problems along the way, but this was of no fault of the practice but invisalign itself. Although my bottom teeth are still not what they should be, I decided to leave it be as I could not have asked Karan to do anymore. It was invisaligns fault. Karan and Hannah, I thank you for all your hard work, patience, total understanding and for giving me more confidence in my smile. You did everything you possibly could to try and get me to where I wanted to be. I could not have asked for anymore. The practice oozes professionalism in all aspects, every member of staff is so welcoming and an asset to the practice. Also, want to apologise for being a nightmare patient, it wasn't me, it was my bottom teeth and invisalign that didn't get along!. Thanks again! Negative experience: Subscribed here for about 18 months but only stuck it out because I didn't need treatment, for the use of the hygienist and because it was close. When I joined I wasn't having any issues, hadn't had any for many years and still don't, I just hadn't been to a dentist or hygienist in a long while and my teeth needed a clean. I'm not a difficult patient and am generally trusting of medical professionals. On my initial consultation, which was much longer than I've ever had before, after looking me up and down the male dentist went quite hard trying to charm me into cosmetic treatments, at one point telling me how great looking he himself was because of it and how it would help me with the ladies. I jokingly explained I was already married so wasn't too bothered about being pretty and his reaction was to just stare at me... for quite a while. Once he'd had his long think about whether or not to stop badgering me to get glow in the dark teeth he began examining my mouth again, took an x-ray and after much umming, teeth sucking and dramatic pensive staring at the results then went on to tell me that I urgently needed a new filling and that my single old one also required replacing, probably along with a root canal. I felt like I was at a dodgy garage! When I said I just wanted a cleaning he poked a camera around my drooly teeth to show closeup on the screens why I needed the new filling and the old one removing, but when I honestly stated I couldn't see what he was on about he became irritable and said that it was obvious to anyone. It wasn't. He then changed his mind and in a tone that quite plainly suggested I was an idiot said I couldn't see it because I wasn't a dentist so I had to trust him as I'd probably be in pain soon and that also if I didn't have it done it would cost me much more in the future. I'd had enough and pretended to happily agree to the work and a price just so I could get out of there. He was very pleased. I could be imagining this now but I seem to recall he actually high fived the nurse as I was leaving! I cancelled the appointment at the receptionist after the usual waterboarding visit at the hygienist. Despite my concerns I did continue with the subscription in case he was actually right and I did suddenly start experiencing pain. On my next 6 monthly checkup the same dentist greeted me warmly until he realised that I'd cancelled the previous suggested work. At which point he suddenly became genuinely angry, asking why I even bothered going to the dentist?! I explained I still wasn't having any issues but he continued to fume and after poking my filling and the gum around it quite hard (this was prettt uncomfortable but I refused to flinch) suddenly spun his back to me and announced he was no longer going to be my dentist, I would be assigned to someone else in the building from now on and I should go. Suited me, the only dental work I fancied being carried out was on him via my boot. I should've left altogether at this point but figured as I was being offered a new dentist I'd be fine. On my 3rd checkup, now at least 12 months on from being told I needed work done urgently and I'm being seen by another dentist. She seemed like a stable individual at least and after doing a checkup said my teeth were fine. On my 4th (and final) visit the lady dentist said I now needed my filling replaced (no mention of a root canal or the extra filling) and despite still having no issues I was initially happy to accept this and get it done. But whilst I was near reception a staff member was chatting to another, bragging about how many sales they'd made because of the dentists approach and how they were making more here than anywhere else. This along with my experience of the first 2 dental consultations made me realise that I have absolutely no faith in this practise putting it's patients first before profits. I cancelled the appointment and my sub and will finally be doing the sensible thing for me and going elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I've been in today for a filling replacement. My old metal filling was getting on a bit and showing signs of decay underneath. My dentist did a great job at keeping me relaxed and letting me know what he was doing each step. I didn't even feel the numbing needle, he was so gentle! I now have a white filling and the peace of mind that there is no decay underneath. Thanks also to the reception staff who do a brilliant job at booking us in as a family of four, a logistical nightmare but better to do all in one visit! Thanks for your patience guys

Negative experience: Would not give me a quote online, said have to come see dentist and pay 75£ for 30 minute consultation. I just simply wanted to know if composite bonding would be an option for me or not (sent them a clear picture). Guess they only care about the money and for simple yes or no you have to pay! Fantastic experience: Started my treatment today, four extractions. All four broken to the gums, I thought this is going to hurt. Muz my dentist injected my gums in various places, hardly felt a thing, this put me at ease, next the extractions, any worries I had melted away, I didn't feel a thing. Bleeding was minimal, and then muz explained the after care.this practice is good muz is brilliant. Next appointment is Monday, I'm actually looking forward to it.

Fantastic experience: I had toothache that kept me awake all night. My own dentist was unable to offer me an appointment for nearly a month. During the middle of the night I was able to book with Eccleshill Dental. I was looked after by Claire and Becca (I think) and was made to feel very welcome and the treatment options were all explained. I’m now thinking of changing practice to these.
