Fantastic experience: If you're looking for a great dentist and considering making the jump to private, go for it! The team here have been wonderful across the board. The Reception team are friendly, kind, understanding and patient: Exactly what you need as your first point of contact. They've handled some difficult booking arrangements for our family with professionalism and patience, and they're always so lovely through any method of communication, whether it's email, over the phone, or in person! The Dental team are warm, meticulous, and gentle. They don't just rush you in and out; they take their time to ensure you're comfortable, and you understand exactly what's being done and why. Even just the initial checkup is in depth and clearly comes from a place of care and understanding for you as a person, and how they can work with you to make your life better! The Hygiene team are also lovely and ensure that not only do you leave with a squeaky clean mouth, but a few tips and insights on how you can improve your future dental care. On a practical level, the building is modern and clean, and all of the equipment is up to date and high quality. Many rooms have televisions and radios to help with the nervous dentist-goer (From their care for me as a pretty relaxed patient, I imagine they'd do a great job of putting you at ease if you were ever worried!) I can also attest to how wonderfully they treat children here. Again they're kind, encouraging and welcoming, both at the front of house and in the dentist's rooms. My preschool aged daughter, at first was a nervous patient, but she soon warmed up to the team, and they do so well at helping her feel comfortable, even if the first couple of appointments meant NOT sitting in the chair or opening her mouth! With their support, she's become more confident and she now looks forward to our visits. Pricewise, it's private dental care, it's unfortunately never going to be as cheap as NHS care, but you clearly get a higher level of service for your money (as far as my personal expreience has proven!), they're very understanding with pricing, and offer payment plans if needed. I couldnt be happier.

Fantastic experience: Never like going to the dentist, it makes me so nervous. But the dentist I saw was very understanding and put me at ease. The receptionist staff were very professional and helpful. Very happy that I chose this dentist and will continue to use them via the dental plan.

Fantastic experience: As a new patient, after the examination it was so good to be asked to sit with my dentist in front of the XRay screen and be advised about the status quo of my teeth and any potential treatments, then to be asked my thoughts on this. So much better than staying in the dental chair where you feel like a patient rather than a person. No feeling of time pressure, it was a really positive experience.

Fantastic experience: Took mum to see Graham, mum has Parkinson’s dementia and the staff are all lovely and take care of her wonderfully. We even have a parking space reserved for us. Quality of all round care is wonderful.

Fantastic experience: Had a Internal Root Cannel done. They was really helpful and reassuring, going through the processes they was very reassuring. Always making sure you was ok during the process and even the following days always follow up with contact from the dentist to ask how you are the following day and any complications. Lovely service and very helpful, before and after the appointments.

Fantastic experience: I have dental fear. My teeth needed serious work. I first went for a consultation and then had a full and through check up with dentist connor. He then explained what I needed to have done and all under Sedation due to fear and aniexty. Yesterday I had my first lot of work done and wow what a result I'm so happy. From start from the lovely receptionists, to the pre op from the lovely nurse putting me at ease. Connor is a fantastic dentist very talented and calming but me at ease straight away. I didn't feel a thing. Thurs the 2nd lot of work to be done and feel calm about it. The whole place is calming like your in a Beauty salon not dental place. From the reception staff, to the 2 dental nurses sorry can't remember there names to connor absolutely friendly, calm and reassuring. A courtesy call this morning to ask how i was. Fantastic experience: My family and I have been using Pure Dental for a five years. I have had a reasonable amount of work done, including a couple of bridges and implants. My dentist is Michell Hickey. She has been excellent throughout all of my treatments. You could not ask for more. She is very skilled and makes you feel at ease through each stage. This is also the case for the dental nurses and hygienists. I have been to lots dentist's over the year and Pure Dental is by fare the best. I thank Mark for putting the PD Team together. Colin

Fantastic experience: After being left in an unfortunate way, in a lot of pain, with an infection and a very uncomfortable filling by another practice in Wadebridge, Pure Dental well and truly saved the day! From start to finish I cannot recommend them enough. All correspondence with the receptionists with nothing but friendly and professional and very reassuring that I would be in safe hands. Many thanks to both Amy and Amber for their assistance. After booking in for a double root canal, I then received a pre-appointment phone call from Graham who was going to be the dentist performing the procedure. I cannot begin to explain just how appreciated this phone call was in helping to settle my nerves ahead of the appointment and I really did feel like I was going to be in safe hands. Procedure day comes, I'd had a 1 hr drive down to the practice (far too much time to think about what could go wrong), untill I got there. Upon arrival reception again we're nothing but fantasic, very friendly and calm. The music in the waiting room is a fantastic touch and very much helped in distracting my thoughts. Into the chair I went, and I could not believe just how well the procedure went. Graham was absolutely fantastic, very calm and reassuring when the nerves kicked in, and had me reassured and comfortable in no time. So much so, I'm convinced I even had a very short nap part way through the root canal! A lovely finishing touch, was having a check up call the following day just to make sure everything ok, to which it very much was. No pain, no swelling and back to normal! Credit where credits due, an all round ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ experience. Thank you all, you've restored my faith in visiting the dentist!

Everyone continues to be cheerful and efficient - in particular the hard working girls on the front desk - they always give us plenty of time and a big smile.

Fantastic experience: Although I have a NHS dentist the work I wanted to have done was beyond NHS budget and possibly ability so I searched for a private dentist in the Truro area and after reading quite a few reviews, I decided on Pure Dental. I’m 100% that I made the correct decision as the work that I had done is better than I ever imagined and in my opinion very reasonable. I’ve been unhappy for many years ( 15 ) with the way my teeth appeared but that is no longer the case. I wish I had gone to Pure Dental years ago! I would absolutely recommend anyone looking for a dentist to consider Pure Dental ( Alan Burgin was my dentist, absolutely top guy and brilliant at his trade ). Fantastic experience: I didn't have a dentist and woke the Saturday before Christmas with an agonising infection in a tooth that has played me up for years! Spent most of the morning trying to find a dentist that would fit me in before Christmas. Rang Pure dental after many others.. Well they were amazing a fantastic reception lady, sympathetically booked me an appointment for that very afternoon, even though I was not registered with them! I am a nervous dental patient and have to say Michelle and her assistant were just exceptional! I was extremely anxious and somewhat embarrassed but made to feel completely at ease. The care and compassion showed was second to none and without going into detail, the lengths taken to look after me and sort me out before Christmas were exceptional!! I have now registered with Pure dental and I cannot thank the reception lady, Michelle and her assistant enough you were all amazing. Fantastic experience: My daughter unfortunately needed a route canal, which our own dentist was unable to do. After a lot of googling we decided on pure dental. Everyone that we met at the practice were very welcoming. Graham and Lydia who did the procedure are a great team. They were very friendly, informative and patient, which put her mind at rest (she was very nervous). Graham said that my daughter was likely to have pain for a while after the procedure as it was inflamed, but she only had some mild pain that evening and the following morning. We are extremely happy with the care she received and wouldn’t go anywhere else if we needed treatment like this in the future.

Fantastic experience: Graham and the team here are incredible. I was so nervous for my procedure today but really I had no need to be. I actually ended up falling asleep in the middle because there was no discomfort at all. They are so gentle and highly skilled. They explained everything which was really interesting and reassuring. I’ve never seen so much technology in a dentists office. I felt like an astronaut. Hopefully I won’t need to go back anytime soon but if I ever need dental work done again, I’ll 100% be calling Pure Dental. Absolute stars ⭐️

Fantastic experience: Without Doubt the best Dentist I have ever visited! I had been troubled by a loose tooth for quite a while so it was about time to get sorted. I gave them a call and within minutes Amber had arranged a consultation within the next few days. She was so amazing and so lovely. She forwarded a link and I filled out all the forms online. So easy. At the consultation I saw Conor O'Kane and his lovely assistant, he was so professional and understanding. In the space of half an hour he took an X-ray, identified the problem and under anaesthetic removed the tooth. I literally didn't feel a thing and didn't even realise it was out! Fantastic experience: Went to Pure Dental after my nhs dentist just wanted to pull all my teeth out and get me into a full set of dentures. Pure Dental came to the rescue and after a few months and a few extraction made me able to eat again and my teeth look fantastic and normal. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: I have been a client of Michelle (the girl with the smiling Irish eyes) for approximately 15 months. During this period we both traveled on a journey whereby my teeth were extracted, bonded, molded, inserted and x-rayed. At no time did I feel Michelle was not confident in her abilities, skills and advice. That in turn enabled me to feel relaxed in her care. For the majority of people a visit to the dentist can be a daunting experience and I was apprehensive at times as I had a variety of issues to be resolved. However Michelle always reassured me during lengthy procedures. Also, the staff at front of house and Michelle's professional colleagues were helpful and engaging, making the visit more comfortable. I would recommend Pure Dental to friends and relations.

Fantastic experience: I was on holiday in Penzance & needed emergency dental work, my wife called & spoke to Jan who was very helpful & managed to get me an appointment the same day, I’ve always been nervous with dentists but Mike was brilliant & understanding & talked me through what needed doing & made me feel at ease. Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant staff , everything was explained perfectly and I was made to feel very welcome and cared for. I have a gag reflex and due to the patience and understanding of the dentist I had no issues at all.

Positive experience: Wiola the hygienist is great - the practice has changed a bit over the years, and is now more of a 'commercial' operation shall we say, but the dentistry and hygienist service have always been good. Irritating when their limited parking spaces are used by tradesmen working in the practice, as it's not always easy to park elsewhere. Overall a very good practice.

Positive experience: I have been using Pure dental since 2 years. While I am very happy with their work, their prices have been on a constant hike, and the main cleaning service I use went up £20 in 2 years and is billed at £94. In the last 4 months it went up another £5. The inflation has stabilised and there is no justification for this constant hike in pricing outside of greed. Next time when I go back in 4 months if prices goes up again, I will move to another dental practice, just for principle.

Fantastic experience: From the moment I contacted Pure Dental Health in Truro for an emergency dental appointment I was looked after with great care and professionalism. Visiting Cornwall from Australia I was not familiar with the dental system in England and was guided and reassured by Jan in Reception whose customer service I could not fault. Dentist, Martyna Polus was exceptional and so very detailed in her explanation of what needed to be addressed with my broken tooth. Martyna was able to restore and rebuild my tooth all while explaining each step as she was doing it. Martyna’s dental assistant Megan was a delight and also so very helpful. I am so very grateful to Jan, Megan and the exceptionally skilled Martyna for taking care of me and fixing/restoring my broken tooth. Thank you all again, you are a wonderful team.

Fantastic experience: The whole team at Pure are amazing - such a pleasant experience. The reception team are so warm, helpful and welcoming and they immediately put you at ease. The practice itself is also lovely; a very clean and comfortable space. I cannot fault the work that has been undertaken by Mike and the dental nurses. Fantastic experience: As a new customer who is a bit sceptical about dentists, I was pleasantly surprised on all levels about Pure Dental Heath in Truro. I had an initial consultation with Connor last week and found him to be very professional and easy to talk to. There was no pressure to proceed with any treatments/procedures, just friendly and honest advice. The practice itself is clean, has a nice atmosphere and the staff are very welcoming. It feels like they go the extra mile for their patients. Would highly recommend. It’s the best dentist I have been to.

Fantastic experience: I went to Pure Dental Health for a second opinion and I'm so glad I did. Previous experiences throughout the years have got me down about my teeth and I've come to expect the worst. I was now expecting to lose a front tooth amongst other dental issues. I booked my first appointment with Michelle, she made me feel so comfortable straight away, was patient and knowledgeable, I felt like I was in excellent hands. I dont feel like I've ever had such a thorough examination, I felt so seen and listened to for what felt like the first time when it has come to the health of my teeth. Michelle referred me to Graham. I haven't lost the front tooth I was expecting to lose so far, thanks to Graham who preformed a root canal and rebuilt my tooth. You'd honestly never know, he's done an amazing job and I can't express how grateful I am. I've never had a root canal before, and never in my life have I been so comfortable in the dentist chair having work done, Graham was so gentle and made me very comfortable, I could have fallen asleep, I was so relaxed. Maybe it's normal procedure after a root canal, but I recieved a phone call from the practise the following day asking how I was feeling. I've honestly never had such care from a dental practise. The whole team clearly has a passion for what they do, I think they're all fantastic and I would like to say thank you. I hope this review helps someone who dreads the dentist, because I used to, and now I look forward to going in.

Fantastic experience: Excellent as usual. Extremely satisfied with my treatment from entering through the door from the lovely warm welcome from the reception team. To the pre medical process. Xrays and exit. And of course the treatment from Alun and his team was brilliant ad usual. So relaxed through a very long procedure nearly fell asleep and that was without sedation. Fantastic experience: My first visit for a 45 minute consultation. Reception staff very welcoming & was shown into a waiting room with a very comfy L shaped sofa. Conor was my dentist today & was very thorough with questions, x-rays & checking my teeth. I felt very comfortable on my first visit to a dentist in 6 years. Megan the dental nurse was also very friendly. Conor discussed my plan going forward & I have arranged 2 visits for treatment & also 3/4 hour session with a hygienist. Very happy with my first visit.

Fantastic experience: I can't explain how good my experience has been at pure, the staff helped me when after a tooth removal I had passed out. I felt in safe and capable hands. The tooth extraction went smoothly the entire time I was watching baby animals which strangely helped a lot with taking my mind off of the procedure. Thank you to everyone at pure.

Fantastic experience: From coming through the door. The receptionist was very friendly and experienced. The waiting room appeared to be clean and welcoming. Conor the dentist and Megan the dental nurse were very professional. Explaining everything about was happening on my first appointment. Then after the X rays Conor told me what shape my teeth were in and what to expect for the future. He advised me to see the hygienist on another date, which I booked on the way out. Also an appointment for six months time. So happy to come back again and in the future.

Fantastic experience: I have never experienced treatment like it. Comming from NHS, private care is another level of presion, there was no pain when the anesthetic wore off, and the care that goes into making you are comfortable was great. Also the follow up curtesy call the next day was a nice touch

Fantastic experience: Excellent dentist! I’ve had a fear of the dentist all of my life, and avoided going for 10 years until I needed to go for an issue with one of my teeth. Connor was so accommodating, made me feel at ease and has now done 2 fillings for me which are fantastic! Felt no pain at all and cannot recommend these guys enough!!!

Fantastic experience: After not seeing a dentist for over 15 years due to extreme anxiety and previous bad experiences I managed to pluck up the nerve to go in and talk to someone on reception and was met with an incredibly kind and understanding receptionist, after a chat in private with her I booked for a appointment to speak to one of the dentists, Conor. After seeing Conor who's manner and demeanor came me to the point I was able to let him carry out a check up which he did gently and with minimal fuss and took a quick look while I was sat up in the chair as reclining was a bit much for me. The result was me being able to go back for an extraction and several fillings plus cleaning. A day later and I've absolutely no pain and discomfort and I'm actually in an odd way looking forward to subsequent routine visits. It's been an enormous weight and worry lifted that I've carried for many years, I cannot recommend them highly enough, even more so for nervous/phobic patients. Fantastic experience: Went along as a new patient and was seen by Michelle in a 45 minute appointment. I can honestly say that no dentist has ever looked at my teeth in so much detail and she identified issues (fortunately not significant after doing a test) that neither I, nor any other dentist, had spotted before. She was friendly, professional and took time to explain everything. I was reassured by her thoroughness and I’m happy to recommend her.

Negative experience: Difficult to book. Couldn't find a time for over 6 weeks (and for a private appointment!), then wanted full payment today but wouldn't give me a receipt so I can claim on my dental insurance policy. Inflexible receptionist and indifferent receptionist. If this is what they are like when trying to get new customers, then it will only go downhill for there! Looking elsewhere...

Fantastic experience: All the staff at Pure Dental are extremely personable. Settling nerves, not only through friendly manner but with the care and diligence that is present with every interaction and experience I’ve ever had. I feel very safe and comfortable in the knowledge that they are the best in their field and working with the best materials and equipment. Thank you so much for making me feel so cared for and bringing my teeth back to full health.

Fantastic experience: For over 50 years I have suffered with 'dentalphobia', after an unnerving experience with the school dentist. Both my wife and I have been patients at Pure Dental, Truro for just over a year and cannot recommend this practice enough. Always a warm welcome from the entire team whenever we visit, and caring, thoughtful treatment throughout. I now have absolutely no fear or apprehension when 'in the chair', so can safely assure anyone who suffers as I did all these years that they need not worry - you'll be in exceptionally good hands here

Fantastic experience: Graham did a fantastic job of my first appointment. Best dentist I’ve had Barr none. No pain in the evening or the day after. His assistant and receptionists were first class also. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Wasn't particularly looking forward to my extraction yesterday but it went really well and I subsequently felt no aches & pains hence didn't need the Paracetamols etc. Amazing ! I also had a wisdom tooth removed last year and again felt no discomfort. Thanks Graham you're a star.

Fantastic experience: I was seen by Graham and he was brilliant. His bedside manner and communication skills are excellent. Putting me at ease all the way through. He explained every step to me and I felt very reassured by his calm voice. The whole experience is professional from the booking of appointments right through to the treatment. Fantastic experience: My "new teeth and my confidence to smile " journey has taken nearly a year (As promised) but I LOVE THEM! My teeth were in a very poor, painful state when I arrived at my first appointment with Connor, he was incredibly patient, honest and extremely knowledgeable from day one. I was informed at all times of what the process would entail, the costs involved which were surprisingly very reasonable and realistic timescales. I was offered various options but with an honest solution, which wasn't just about being the most expensive but what would be best for me. Connor and his nurse were so, so kind and reassuring during some not so pleasant treatments and timely appointments. All the front desk staff at Truro pure dental are kind, friendly yet perfectly professional. I'm so happy to have my new teeth, smile and ability to enjoy eating again. I can't recommend and thank PURE DENTAL enough, I'm glad I took the plunge into private dental care with them. excuse the cheesy photo but I can't stop smiling!

Fantastic experience: I honestly cannot recommend Pure Dental any more highly!! I’ve been treated with such kindness and compassion, and as someone who has dental anxiety this was greatly needed. Graham and Layla are such a wonderful team. They’ve managed to get me through an extraction today under just local, never in a million years did I think I would manage it, but with them it was possible. Thank you to you all!

Negative experience: Had my rotten teeth out for my birthday, the dentist, didn't listen at all , I've even video of him being to rough with just pulled jaws I showed other dentistd all said get hold of the dentistry associationWorst experience in my life , that was 22nd aug I'm still waking up screaming now and have no teeth. The roots I asked to have taken out he left in now nothing fits just bleeds. I hope he loses his job that alan .and as for ringing my 70 year old mother to talk about my pain seems stupid she lives in st austel. I'll b going on my own next time . Seriously he just needed light in my eyes and saying why are you recording, which I actually didn't but I glad I did the rest now..you can't get brilliant dentists I've had a few but I've never had so much pain with dentures being put in ontop of old roots making me bleed and one root has flipped over all I can taste is rotten flesh. Happy birthday paul, if I don't get call tomorrow I'm sueing and shutting down pure dental, I've been abused taking teeth out Alan broke piece of my jaw off had x-ray that's what caused pain abscess and sepsis , I've asked for what I'd like not to look like a horse not to hurt , heard nothing so going to shut him down 11 dentist's laughed at the plates he made don't fit my mouth, as for bottom one being the best he can do they all laughed at that and said get yr cash bk and sue he's not allowed to do what he's done you can see a mile off its all wrong, some 3000 present to myself he's just stolen my money. If I don't get a call there waiting to investigate, tomorrow. Do you only txt bk saying thanks for the review because you needed them , if Alan doesn't call all reviews Will go from Google until you can prove Alan can actually do dentistry, I tried hanging myself after he gave me those massive not right plates still not eaten and Alan has made my noose from my loft hatch seem right cause I want to die now because they don't care he doesn't care and pure dental doesn't care at all, your not supposed to hang yrself because dentist is rubbish and lies, I've had people laughing at me and my mouth even the receptionist lied and said they look nice , the people want to investigate the whole dentist and shut it down because yr not ment to be so rubbish you want people to die, I came to you depressed, I cried when you said you could sort my teeth out but all you have done is caused pain swelling abscess One way or another I'll shut yr lying Alan up , getting yr blonde bit to write minutes, I was filming anyway, I know how much you earn a year yet you can't fit a denture . Useless and I'm dead lost my kids had cancer lumps in my kidneys just to top it off I get a dentist who didn't know his job . my plates are not fit for a cow maybe a horse . Thanks for the pain on my birthday and lying, no teeth offered 450 bk from 3000 when nothing fits so no teeth no plates that fit 450 isn't enough even dental association said that. I'm not signing for 450 with the amount of pain and what you have given me I can sue for negligence.up yr offer cause I'm not in mood for this, Cornish gardian wants a picture. Picture of me is on your photos last one and Alan and your practice thinks this is exceptable? I paid 3000 to look like a fool and you know that it's not right he said it himself last time. He lies so much an , he made me sign a peice of paper giving me 400 bk from 3000 , what he wrote isn't worth the paper it's written on , even mp said going to write to pd because I've shown damage that's been done, and it was roots which you couldn't figure out Alan the points i pulled out,,3 of them took photos. I'm on the dole don't have to pay to sue you either, one look at the horse teeth you gave me which didn't fit still don't never will, all people asked if Alan didn't like me and was taking the piss and laughed at me. I nearly took my life because of this . You should be ashamed pain for no reason holes still open now not healed. And for trying to get out of your responsibility

Fantastic experience: Had the best experience with the Pure Dental team, in particular Dr Conor and Nurse Megan. Dr Conor managed to fix my smile exactly as I wanted and he always took the time to explain to me the options and all the details so I could choose the best option for me. The clinic is always clean and all the staff is very friendly, also very easy to book the following appointments without having to wait too long. I would definitely recommend it.

Fantastic experience: As a medical professional myself, I felt really safe here at Pure Dental Health. All covid19 guidelines were followed. I took advantage of an introductory offer and was very pleased with the initial consultation, all the advice that was given. I felt very much in charge of any decision regarding my plan of care for my teeth. Michelle and her assistant were very caring. I'm looking forward to receiving further treatment from them. Can thoroughly reccomend the practice. This practice has continued to provide good service, I have reccomended to my friends and they too have experienced good care.

Fantastic experience: I'm so glad I chose to go to Pure Dental after quite a few years of not going to a dentist. I was quite worried that I would have major problems but the entire experience has been excellent throughout. I did need a few fillings but Michelle and Mandy who carried out the work are both incredibly skilled and caring in their work. You are never rushed, never feel any pain and the quality of the fillings is better than an original tooth. Everybody at the practice is incredibly helpful and kind. I'm looking forward to a hygienist appointment which I'm sure will also be excellent. Would rate ten stars if it was possible.

Fantastic experience: I am terrified of the dentist and haven't been for sometime. I knew there would be a lot of work to do and that it would take a lot of appointments to complete. I searched for a dental practice that dealt with dental phobia/ fear. Pure Dental came up and had positive reviews. I booked my consultation and saw Mike and Sophie. The consultation went well, Mike took the time to listen to me and explained everything that was going to happen. He was very calm and happy to answer any questions I had. I was put at ease and after some discussion I was given a treatment plan and have booked my next appointment. I am still nervous but thanks to Pure Dental I feel I am ready to start my dental journey.

Fantastic experience: I was very phobic prior to being recommended to Pure Dental, Truro by a friend. Meeting my dentist, Michelle, for the first time, she completely put me at ease & is very caring & empathetic & talked me through breathing exercises to help dull my fear. She then introduced me to the hygienist Wiola (who I see three-monthly) who too is incredible & eases my anxiety each visit. They have helped build my confidence & I now book several appointments in advance. I can’t thank Michelle & Wiola enough for all the help & support you have given me. Thank you all. This practice comes VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
