Fantastic experience: Brilliant dentist I have Emily Swift and she’s really brilliant with me because I’m quite anxious around the dentist and I’m autistic so have quite a few sensory issues and she’s brilliant with them. The receptionists are always lovely and helpful you’re never gonna wait long to talk to someone ☺️

Positive experience: I have been to the dentist twice over the last week, first was a check up, second time I had two teeth removed and two teeth added to my lower plate, I am very happy with the dentist, but my front 4 teeth are waring away & I am told the only treatment would cost £3000 per tooth, I have asked for the teeth to be removed & added to my upper plate, I asked if the teeth could be crowned, but none of these solutions were discussed. I asked yesterday how much further do these four teeth have to erode before something will be done??

Fantastic experience: Treatment very efficient and immediately after the need for a filling is diagnosed. Also warned of potential future problems which need watching. Only irritation is that after treatment on visiting reception one is simply advised as to the amount due for immediate payment, without any question of supplying an invoice showing how the charge is comprised.

Fantastic experience: This was my first treatment at Savernake Dental Practice, being a new patient. I had been told by my previous NHS dentist that I would need a hospital extraction. I was recommended SDP by my daughter and after an initial consultation I had a back tooth taken out by Kaz on Monday. He was thorough in his explanation of , not only the extraction but possible side effects. The procedure itself was gently and reassuringly carried out. I was given thorough aftercare instructions and asked to get in touch if I had any worries. I’m going back for a 6 month check in march. Thank you Kaz and team

He once shared that he considered becoming an artist before choosing dentistry, and I truly believe he approaches dentistry as an art form practiced with heart. He is very attuned to the emotional needs of his patients, a good listener, and it’s clear he is highly skilled in his craft. I feel genuinely well looked after in his care.

Fantastic experience: I had a very sore tooth which was extremely loose and ready for extraction. There were no immediate appointments available but advised by Sue to ring at 08.30 the following morning for an emergency appointment. An hour later Sue rang me to say that Alastair (my regular dentist) had a cancellation for the following day. I was so grateful. Alastair extracted the tooth efficiently and painlessly. Service couldn't have been better.

Negative experience: Absolutely shocking. Had a plate made a 18 moths back and it’s now broken. Had half a dozen appointments to have molds for an acrylic denture, then a metal one. This has now broken so I’ve gone back to Savernake dentist to have it fixed with the dentist that I saw previously only to find out that she’s not taking patients, I was never a patient and I should’ve registered and gone back for a 6 month check up. That I would have done if the dentist had told me both of these things. Also the receptionists could’ve said that I wasn’t registered and I needed to book a 6 month appointment, if they had obviously I would’ve done. I don’t see how a dentist can take nearly £2500 but yet tell me I’m not a patient! Also when speaking to the practice manager is is so woke and arrogant that I said one minor expletive and she hung up on me. Very unprofessional and childlike. Also Savernake dentist have blamed all this on me because they have notes on the system saying I needed to do both of these aforementioned things, a system that I’ve not got access to and can’t see with information that clearly wasn’t related to me yet I had no apology no help trying to but things right, just arrogance and ignorance from the staff and especially the practice manager. Also when I mentioned that I wanted to raise a complaint they said it’s fine it stays within the practice and I presume then quashed by the practice manager! Talk about marking your own homework. All in all I’ve never been treated so back by any company, never had a dentist and staff not take ownership for their mistakes but yet blame the customer for each and everything that’s happened. I’ve spent £2500 with them and yet now I’ve got no choice but to start again with a more professional dentist and have it all done again, all the processes repeated and another bunch of money. They say a fool and his money are easily parted, well Savernake dentist have made a right fool out of me. But not will to admit or fix mistakes or even fix the badly fitting broken denture they produced.

Fantastic experience: While I don't recommend having 8 months' treatment for necessary root and bridge work, I can wholly recommend the care, professionalism and skill of Alistair Hetherington. A great final result and his first rate client care and humour made the long drilling sessions almost pleasurable!

Fantastic experience: I was “squeezed” in for an emergency visit and Kuba took care of me. He was utterly delightful and put me at ease. He then explained very thoroughly what the problem was, and in a way that was easy to understand. During his treatment he was was very gentle so there was very little discomfort. I highly recommend the whole practice, for their efficiency and concern.

Fantastic experience: I have had nothing but 100% excellent service from Alistair since he took over from my previous dentist 11 years ago. Alistair was also very kind to my elderly mother until she passed away. Alistair is gentle but firm and has the most pleasing manner he never makes me feel as if hes hurrying me out. Fantastic experience: Kuba is amazing and kind very happy to explain what is going on what he's doing etc. ( the best music ) Everyone is very reassuring, the dental nurses are also very friendly and knowledgeable, which all helps with a nervous patient. You are greeted by a calm clean setting. The ladies who greet you are professional smart and nothing is too much trouble. Negative experience: I waited 20 mins before being told that the dentist was running ‘a few minutes behind. ‘ l pointed out that it was nearer 25 mins. Receptionist went back downstairs and came back saying she was very sorry but he would be at least another 10 mins. I left without treatment. If I had been told after about 10 mins they were running late I would have accepted it better. I was very angry at wasting an afternoon waiting for the appointment and then not being seen

Fantastic experience: I had a crown fitted this week. It was a difficult one, as there wasn’t much tooth left to add it to. Kaz was brilliant, explained every step of the procedure, and now have a lovely new crown. Thank you Kaz.

Fantastic experience: My premolar lost part of the enamel from the tooth. When calling the surgery the receptionist asked whether I was in pain. She would have given me next day treatment. I was not in pain so I was treated by my dentist the following week. I went to the surgery a little early and was seen immediately. I had the treatment with an pain killer. The process went very smoothly. Within half an hour the tooth had been repaired. I sat relaxing in the waiting room for a quarter of an hour. I was ready to go home. Thank you Jonathan.
