Highly recommend I had some serious issues that were not treated correctly by my NHS practice so glad I visited when I did!. I am lucky as Dr Franks is my dentist and has been on my dental journey with me it has taken a few years but i have finally been able to have bio clear they look that good you wouldn’t know I have had it done! Would not go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: We have been patients of Shine Dental Care for many years. We have always received excellent treatment by their Dentists. They're very good at putting you at ease and explaining your treatment.

Fantastic experience: Not the cheapest practice, however I feel that I will be able to obtain a confident smile. For the first time in years I have been explained to me what is going on with my teeth and the reasons I need specific treatment. My dentist Henry was honest at what was needed and what treatment is needed but can wait so that I can prioritise my dental needs. I am also going to register my daughter as through the NHS dentist she hasn't been given the treatment she needs and Henry can help her as well. It comes to something when we have to go privately to get the dental care we need but that's the world we live in. I would recommend this practice.

Negative experience: Whilst on a weeks holiday at Centerparcs my daughter developed an infection and pain in her wisdom tooth . We were advised by guest services that Shine Dental in Mansfield might be a good option to contact in order to purchase special mouthwash and a curved plastic syringe to deal with the situation as she had been instructed by our own dentist on occasions in the past. Upon speaking to the receptionist we were informed that they were unable to sell us anything as we didn’t have an account with them . We live in Leeds . After pleading with the receptionist and explaining that it was my daughter’s 30th birthday the day after she went to speak to a dentist . His response was no they couldn’t help us and to try ringing round . Thanks for being so unhelpful, I would have expected more from a 4.9 star rated service .

Fantastic experience: My daughter and I have been members for over a year now, we've had multiple routine check ups and some treatment, every single visit is brilliant, the staff are so friendly and amazing with my daughter who is 6. She loves coming, which is invaluable as I had a phobia of going to the dentist from when I was a child. My dentist is brilliant and takes things at a pace which is comfortable for me, checks in with me regularly throughout the appointment. I've never felt worried or nervous since going which is amazing! Would recommend for those who are nervous about dentists! Super clean and all staff are amazing!

Negative experience: Waste of time and money going here, I explained that I am getting pain in my tooth and I’m having issues taking too many ibuprofen for pain so I need to have work done asap so they booked me in for next day then cancelled my appointment at the last minute so now I have to try and find another dentist. For a dentist that charges premium prices you would expect premium service. If the patient cancelled their appointment they would still charge you

Fantastic experience: I love going to Shine Dental Care...I know..sounds odd to say I love going to the dentists ..but... Both reception staff and dental staff are all so very kind...very caring...very friendly. I never have any problems getting appointments. VERY recently I rang in absolute excruciating tooth pain which I couldn't take anymore. The wonderful amazing receptionist Kerry..managed to get me in within an hour of calling. The lovely lady dentist Emma (who I don't normally see) treated me with such care as they all do. They always explain what's happening throughout your treatment etc. I can not praise this Dental surgery highly enough!!! I will ALWAYS recommend them What I've said IS MOST sincere and heartfelt ❤️

Fantastic experience: I have met with David a few times now to formulate a plan, and Wednesday I attended to have a tooth extracted. David and Ellie were great throughout the appointment, explaining each step as it happened, and reassured me throughout. They offered a huge amount of advice on how to deal with the extraction in the few days after and provided means of contact should I face any issues outside of office hours. I would highly recommend Shine and the team, as every dentist I have had appointments with have been brilliant in the last year.

Fantastic experience: After being scared of the dentist for my whole life and actively avoiding it for nearly 5 years, I finally visited Shine in January. I cannot tell you how pleased I am with my entire experience. The front desk team are amazing, helpful and really compassionate. From my first ever phone call and getting me in the next day so I didn’t have to worry, to working with me to move appointments when I need it, to getting me in the same day when I was in pain, nothing has been too much trouble at all. In my first appointment, Mark put me at ease immediately, he made me feel so comfortable, asked how I’d like to be communicated with during treatment, showed empathy towards my worries and understanding on why I hadn’t been for so long. There was no pressure at all after the first consultation - I had plenty of time to think about whether I wanted to start the plan and had lots of opportunity to ask questions if I needed to. Mark has explained everything to me thoroughly throughout my treatment plan that has taken away any worries that I didn’t know what was happening to me. The quality of the work done is also fantastic- you can’t tell I even have fillings anymore. We figured out that the drilling was a real anxiety trigger for me so they suggested I wear headphones for my appointments which has absolutely transformed how I feel. Mark and every dental assistant/ nurse that I’ve had have made me feel calm, and really welcomed in Shine on every appointment. They’ve also made a real effort to get to know me as a person too - which really makes a difference. I can honestly say I no longer dread the dentist - and I can’t thank them enough. If you’re worried or anxious - I promise Shine will help.

Fantastic experience: I struggled to get into NHS dentists at a time when my teeth really needed some TLC. Shine Dental have been friendly, but when I needed them to be, they've told me what I'm doing wrong or what I need to pay attention to, especially with my brushing. I had to have a lot of work done and was lucky to be able to afford some of it, but when I needed an affordable financial plan, it was sorted really quickly. Would recommend!

Fantastic experience: Firstly, my anxiety and nerves was hitting the roof as I walked through their door for the first time yesterday, but, upon entry I was greeted by wonderful smiling receptionists who offered me a coffee, (I declined as I felt so sick, wish I'd have had one now, next time I will.) The whole of the reception/waiting area is so calming and exceptionally clean! My name was called by smiling Sophie, and off I went, shaking inside I put one foot in front of the other while listening to Sophie, who instantly made me feel a little calmer. I saw Henry Staley who immediately introduced himself with a smile, (those smiles go a long way) I felt at ease and started to relax a bit. Every step of the way I was told what he was doing and why, and asking if I was ok. Both Henry and Sophie made me feel totally relaxed and I feel like I've been treated like a queen! Professionalism is outstanding, I was shown a plan explaining EVERYTHING and no pressure was put on me to carry on, instead I was able to go home (after paying of course) and think and look it over. I left shine feeling happy, relaxed and comfortable in the knowledge of knowing I'll be returning. Thank you so much! Highly recommended!!

The Dental Surgeons are extremely well qualified and knowledgeable. They are particularly good at putting patients at their ease. From the moment you enter the waiting area and book in with the Reception Team you start to relax after such a friendly welcome. I have been with Shine Dental Care for four years now and I’ve had a lot of done to preserve the teeth I have, to protect those I have left with new crowns that are made on a machine in front of your eyes for the perfect fit, as well as some veneers to build up worn front teeth. Jemma even filled a gap in the middle of my bottom teeth that I’d had all my life ! Just amazing and I can recommend Shine Dental Care to everyone. They have payment plans to accommodate everyone so don’t think that Private Dental care is out of your reach. Fantastic experience: If anyone is looking for a dentist for children I'd thoroughly recommend Shine. I gave up trying to find an NHS place for us as a family and was worried about how my young children would cope, as my last visits to an NHS dentist myself involved long waits and hearing screams from the treatment rooms- absolutely not something i wanted them to experience. I'm so glad I decided to go to Shine. We've had two appointments now and we go in right on time, reasonable prices for the children's plans, and most importantly our dentist Coire totally put my children at ease and is wonderful. Dentist visits for them are going to be positive and full of confidence thanks to this place.

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient at Shine for over six years and not for one moment do I regret paying for private dental care. In fact, I consider myself extremely lucky to have found this place. Chose to have one implant fitted after an emergency extraction a while ago, and the process has just finished earlier this week. Dr David Heath and his team looked after me during the six month journey and ... boy do I feel lucky (yet again!) to have had their support. Such professional, thorough treatment. Fully explained both in terms of the individual treatments and cost. Minimal pain, clear instructions about how to care for my mouth and above all extreme kindness mixed with gentle humour. If anyone is considering paying for private dental care I really do recommend Shine, whether it's for routine check ups or more specialist care. I've had two crowns, one extraction and one implant fitted at Shine as well as my routine check ups and hygienist visits. I don't earn a lot of money but the amount I pay for the monthly plan to which I subscribe is probably the best use of money I can think of! Thank you to all at Shine for looking after me.

I’m not ashamed to say I was petrified and in a lot of pain. Mark has been my dentist and has made me feel so comfortable and safe. Unfortunately on my first visit Mark found I had a few more issues. There was no hard sell and I’ve been able to do all my treatments in my own time. I have signed up to the dental plan and had all my work done over the year completing in the summer covid safe. Even during my root canal treatment I didn’t have any pain and to think I was going to have the tooth removed. Over the years I have suffered a lot of pain in my face and what I thought was sensitive teeth. Since all my treatment I have had no pain or any issues. I’ve just had a checkup and no problems and my first visit with the hygienist. The first visit to a hygienist were it hasn’t hurt. I am now no longer afraid of the dentist and know I am having the best and safest treatment. Thank you x

Fantastic experience: Henry at Shine Dental is fantastic at what he does. He’s given me confidence in dentists again after a bad experience with my old dentist on the NHS. Shine Dental as a whole are brilliant. They really care about your teeth and do a fantastic job. I feel really looked after and at ease when I visit Shine Dental. Fantastic experience: Once again Shine have surpassed expectations. Many thanks to Lucy and Henry for dealing with my unknown loose filling in two days. Fantastic experience: First time I've been to a dentist in a long time due to previous bad experience. But this place was very highly recommended so i went to have a look. Everyone was so nice and it's a really pleasant atmosphere. Booking a appointment was so easy and quick. I had Mark as my dentist who was so polite, friendly and helpful and made me feel at ease. Fantastic experience: After not visiting a dentist for almost eight years, I found myself with, inevitably, eight years of outstanding treatment required. I cannot speak highly enough of both Mark and Katy, for the incredible care I have received over the last 5 months. The outcome of the treatment was exceptional, with all work being carried out at my pace. I would recommend this practice to anyone in a similar position to myself.

Fantastic experience: I have had several dental procedures here over the past couple of years. This has included tooth removal, Invisilign teeth straightening and a dental implant. The staff are always friendly and explain well what they are doing and why. I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone who needs an extra level of care for complex procedures.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Shine Dental Care for almost 2 years. My dentist being Mark Franks with regular checks and deep cleaning he got my gums back to an healthy state. I just recently had Mark carry out composite bond procedure on my top teeth. OMG they look amazing, I can't stop looking in the mirror. Thank you Mark I wouldn't trust my teeth to no one but you. If anyone wants the procedure done I advise you use Mark he is nothing short of a perfectionist. My teeth feel and look so shiny and new. Shine you are the best!!!!!!!

The level of dentistry is superb with many complicated procedures conducted on site. Fantastic experience: After losing my front teeth at the grand old age of 32, I was absolutely heartbroken and devastated. Everyone at Shine have been brilliant and patiently talked me through my options. I have had an implant and some crowns replaced. Although not completely painless, it has not been far off which was a surprise. Attention to detail has been spot on and I am delighted with the results. Fantastic experience: Great dental surgery. Replaced a failing crown and my care was handled with utmost care from beginning to end. Fantastic experience: As someone who had a morbid fear of dentists this practice has given me faith back and now I wouldn't go anywhere else. As for Dr Mark Frank's he is brilliant at keeping me calm and doing root canal and crown treatments, which are made in house. Totally approachable, friendly, professional surgery who gives you confidence the minute you walk through the door.

Fantastic experience: Corrie is amazing at what he does and super gentle and friendly. Puts me at ease. The staff and everyone here is lovely. If you are a nervous person due to rough and rude dentist in the past, this dental office is for you. My husband and I go to different people within the practice and we are both more than happy with our experiences. We travel all the way from Nottingham for their expertise!

Fantastic experience: I’ve just finished my 2nd root canal treatment with Mark at Shine and I never thought it could be a painless procedure - but I was wrong! I’ve never felt so looked after at a dental appointment before, both Mark and Katie were lovely and put me at ease from the start. Everything is carefully done with great attention to detail. I feel the team at Shine care about your teeth, your comfort and doing the best for you. I can’t recommend Shine highly enough, especially if you’re an anxious patient. It’s the least “dentisty” dentist I’ve ever been to!
